Hoka x Bodega : collab stylée, semelle Vibram.New Balance Tokyo Design Studio : encore du Vibram. Our Legacy, Asics, Moncler, Merrell... toutes utilisent Vibram.

Love to hear from you; “Send us a Text Message”Is the current educational system betraying our children by promoting an alternative reality? Join Jack and Thomas Hampson as they critically assess the cultural and political dynamics shaping our society, with a sharp focus on the implications for truth and the young generation. In a search for TRUTH we cannot shy away from the big questions, including the contentious participation of transgender athletes in sports and the policies that seemingly challenge scientific facts about gender differences. As we approach the upcoming national elections, we underscore the urgent need for a return to truth-based education to protect the integrity of our children's future.Social media is supposed to connect us, but is it actually driving our youth to despair? We unravel the complex relationship between platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok and the surge in depression and anxiety among young people. The conversation goes beyond the screens to examine the controversial teaching of gender identity in schools and the broader societal shift towards moral relativism. Moreover, we question the legal and educational changes that redefine norms, such as the redefinition of Title IX, and their role in the psychological distress observed among the younger generation.Read Tom's Important Article and Share it! James Harris and Lawrence Schlossman, hosts of the podcast Throwing Fits, are influential figures in menswear with decades of fashion and media experience. Hailing from New Jersey and Manhattan, respectively, Schlossman and Harris lend their understanding of men's fashion to those in the know, with their podcast featuring guests discussing current fashion trends and personal style. As makers, they've begun designing sought-after garments like mesh shorts and cut-and-sew overshirts. Well-known for their chemistry, they describe themselves as yin and yang, with Harris joking and Schlossman sharing insights. Their personal styles reflect their expertise and passions—a sexy Scandinavian look for Harris and a unique take on heritage brands for Schlossman. They both value quality and investing in well-made items, and prioritize organic experiences, exploration, curiosity, and discoverability. Episode Highlights: Schlossman and Harris's origin story of work and personal partnership was born of necessity and involved building a social calendar around whatever was available to them. They worked together at Complex, “failing upwards,” with a fashion video show that took off based on their dynamic before moving on to more strategic and brand partnerships roles. As they moved up the ladder, both felt creatively constricted by red tape and constrained by creating content that catered to advertising dollars. Schlossman and Harris started their podcast in January 2020 with a sense of having zero stakes—and they say this mentality is what paid off. Retaining their independence is important to them in a clinical media landscape; it keeps their listeners interested in their irreverence voice. Now that they make their own designs and collaborate with their favorite brands, such as Our Legacy, Schlossman and Harris contrast their well-made designs with “guys who get dressed for the internet.” Their audience is “incredibly enthusiastic and incredibly savvy and smart,” Harris says, and respects their underdog style and pursuits. They cite a robust list of favorite brands, like Eckhaus Latta, Connor McKnight, Angelo Urrutia, Stoffa, Sunflower, and Our Legacy as references and masterful brands of the moment. When asked what's contemporary now, Harris offers “the fragmentation” and “the challenge of how people can eventually find their people,” while Schlossman says “motivation and doing things because they actually make you feel good,” which is inherent to his interest in dressing. Grandpa Bill today continues exploring Chat Bot GPT and A1 technology. In this episode, Grandpa Bill delves into the potential perils of AI-powered robots, exploring the scenarios that could arise if these machines are programmed with misinformation or manipulated by malicious actors. We discuss the potential consequences for industries, economies, and even human safety, and emphasize the importance of establishing robust check-and-balance mechanisms to safeguard the AI-driven future. The Perils of One-Sided Mental Models: When Information Becomes Conflated As humans, we navigate the world through the lens of our mental models – our internal representations of how things work. These models, shaped by our experiences, beliefs, and assumptions, serve as filters through which we process information and make decisions. While mental models can be incredibly useful, they can also be problematic if they become too rigid or narrow. When we operate from a single viewpoint, we risk conflating information, limiting our understanding, and making flawed judgments. The Echo Chamber Effect In today's information-saturated world, it's easy to get trapped in echo chambers – environments where we are only exposed to information that reinforces our existing beliefs. Social media algorithms, for instance, tend to prioritize content that aligns with our past interactions, further narrowing our exposure to diverse perspectives. This selective exposure can lead to the formation of one-sided mental models, where we become blind to alternative viewpoints and conflicting evidence. The Dangers of Oversimplification Mental models often involve simplifications, reducing complex phenomena to manageable concepts. While this can be helpful in making sense of the world, oversimplification can be detrimental when it leads to distorted or inaccurate representations. For example, reducing political ideologies to mere labels can hinder constructive dialogue and foster animosity. The Pitfalls of Confirmation Bias Confirmation bias, the tendency to seek and favor information that confirms our existing beliefs, further compounds the issue. When we encounter information that contradicts our mental models, we may dismiss it or rationalize it away, rather than engaging with it critically. This selective filtering of information reinforces our one-sided perspectives, hindering our ability to see the whole picture. Combating Conflated Information To combat the perils of one-sided mental models and the conflation of information, we must cultivate a more open-minded and inquisitive approach to knowledge. Here are a few strategies: Seek out diverse perspectives: Actively seek out information and engage with people from different backgrounds and viewpoints. Challenge assumptions: Critically examine your own beliefs and assumptions, and be open to the possibility that you might be wrong. Consider alternative explanations: When encountering new information, consider multiple explanations, not just those that align with your existing beliefs. Embrace ambiguity: Recognize that not all questions have definitive answers, and be comfortable with uncertainty. Remember, mental models are not static; they can be refined and expanded as we gather new information and experiences. Our Legacy will be embracing diverse perspectives. #mentalmodels #informationconflation #one #AIFuture #MentalModels #RobotMisinformation Navigating the AI-Driven Future with Caution: Addressing the Perils of Misinformed Robots The Perils of Misinformed Robots: Production Errors and Quality Control Issues: Supply Chain Disruptions and Economic Instability: Cybersecurity Vulnerabilities: Establishing Effective Check-and-Balance Mechanisms Rigorous Data Validation and Source Verification: Continuous Monitoring and Error Detection: Human Oversight and Control: Regular Audits and Security Assessments: --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/bhsales/message

BUTLER :https://www.octaviabutler.com/theauthorAt the time of her death, interest in her books was beginning to rise, and in recent years, sales of her books have increased enormously as the issues she addressed in her Afro-Futuristic, feminist novels and short fiction have only become more relevant.About the Book: Fledgling is the story of an apparently young girl with amnesia whose alarmingly inhuman needs and abilities lead her to a startling conclusion: (spoiler add air horn) She is in fact a genetically modified, 53-year-old vampire. Forced to discover what she can about her stolen former life, she must at the same time learn who wanted—and still wants—to destroy her and those she cares for, and how she can save herself. Fledgling is a captivating novel that tests the limits of “otherness” and questions what it means to be truly human. https://www.octaviabutler.com/About our guest: Dyke Michaels is an Indianapolis based Comedian and Podcaster. Ohio Farm Bureau members celebrated “Our Legacy, Our Future” as the organization held its 104th annual meeting earlier this month in Columbus. Nearly 370 delegates from all 88 Ohio counties established the organization's policy goals for the coming year, recognized county Farm Bureau and individual achievements and honored industry leaders. On this Our Ohio Weekly, we will recap this year's annual meeting of Ohio's largest farm organization. 00:00 - Adam Sharp, Ohio Farm Bureau's executive vice president, addressed the organization's members and partners at the 104th annual meeting in December. 23:50 - The Ohio Farm Bureau Young Agricultural Professionals Winter Leadership Experience is coming up next month in Sandusky. YAP State Committee member Bailey Elchinger shares some details in this To the Beat of Agriculture. 32:20 - Ohio Farm Bureau's senior director of state and national policy, Brandon Kern, talks about some of the main policies that come from Ohio Farm Bureau's 104th Annual Meeting. He also covers the latest Renewable Fuels Standard numbers from EPA and the effort to allow for sales of E15 year round. 42:20 - A request by the State of Ohio to transfer certain regulatory responsibilities covering Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency to the Ohio Department of Agriculture was recently denied by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Anti-animal agriculture groups claimed this as a win but, in reality as Ohio Farm Bureau policy counsel Leah Curtis explains, it didn't change a thing about the livestock permitting process in Ohio.

Summary: You may or may not yet know that I do a lot of coaching the coaches in my business. This is where I work with dance teachers and coaches to help them discover how they can best support their dancers' mental skills while improving their own skills. After doing this work for years, I've found that many people are struggling with similar situations, and I believe in the value of hearing how other people are dealing with these particular things. Today, I am excited to share something new with all of you! We'll be doing a one-on-one coaching for dance educators episode with Coach Erin, a high school coach in Missouri. In this episode we discuss personal mindset tips for dance coaches, how to build up intensity and excitement earlier in the season, the benefit of discussing possible obstacles and reflecting on performances with dancers, and more. These episodes will function as a way to come together in the community to support other dance educators, and this is the first of many episodes like these to come. These types of episodes will allow us to see that we're not alone and also help us gain insight into how things can improve when it comes to both our dancers' mental skills and our own skills as coaches. Pull Quotes - Chelsea: “I also don't think it's necessarily bad to be honest with our dancers about this identity piece. Just being open with that and honest with them: “Do you ever feel that way? Do you feel like when you get a correction that it means you're a bad dancer?” I think if they know this is still hard for a lot of us and it's not just that there's something wrong with you, it's that this is a skill we have to work on and being able to separate our identity from this one piece of negative feedback.” Erin: “That's a huge part of why I love dance, and that's why I love teaching because it's not just about dance. It's not just about kicks and leaps and turns. It's about what dance has taught me as a human and sharing that with my team, my studio girls, and all of that.” Key Highlights - [2m 2s] Personal Mindset as a Coach [8m 18s] The Benefit of Asking Your Dancers: “What Did You Hear Me Say?” [9m 50s] Honesty and Transparency About Who We Are as Coaches and the Decisions We Make [14m 37s] How to Find Success and Reach Goals Without Competition Pressure [20m 16s] Simulating the Magic of Parking Lot Practice in the Studio [25m 52s] Helping Our Dancers See the Potential Obstacles [26m 58s] An Element of Reflection [29m 54s] Our Legacy as Coaches Resources - To be a part of a future episode, visit: www.chelseapierotti.com/beontheshow _______ Did you enjoy today's episode? Episode 49 is a three way conversation with Brice Partouche of Satisfy Running and Jockum Hallin from Our Legacy. Celebrating their new collaboration between Satisfy and Our Legacy's Work Shop concept, we speak on the meaning of collaboration, how culture has informed the way we navigate the world from running to brands to our creative process. Brice and Jockum share how and when they met and how the repurposed fabric and garment concept at the core of Work Shop by Our Legacy was the perfect platform for the two brands to come together for this collection. Of course, we also speak about running and the mental benefits more than anything, how it can support a health mind and body, and the natural community the sport encourages around the world, while still be a vital place for solitude and cleansing. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/into-the-well/support

The Core 4 are in the zone and doing just that, all while debating whether golf is ass, spending too much time talking about Supreme, studying The Pimp Chronicles, salivating over Stüssy x Our Legacy’s jüicy legööchy, lampooning bozos on all sides of the “NYC is done” debate and much more for our genuinely authentic best friends behind the paywall. This week Zach and Rachel have Dash Turner on to talk about chill wave, taco bell, extreme sports, and Our Legacy.
Sandy Liang drops into ‘The Dropcast’ studio to talk her latest Vans collaboration and of course, the hottest drops of the week. Hosts Jian DeLeon and Noah Thomas shower the fleece queen with all the titles she deserves: Queen of the LES, One Who Goes Ham on the Lamb, Best Fleece in the East, you name it. To start off, the quick hits take the cast into a new upcycling initiative for bedding and sleepwear brought to you by Our Legacy (3:41). At this time, Our Legacy’s new products aren’t the only reason to stay in bed. The NBA reportedly advised teams to plan for playing games in empty arenas due to coronavirus concerns, but LeBron James isn’t having it (4:54). On a lighter note, the launch of a website generating handwashing infographics based on your favorite song lyrics has been popping off (6:05). Even in light of the coronavirus outbreak, fashion proves that nothing can really slow it down (7:44). The 2020 LVMH Prize Finalists have also been announced. As a past CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist, Sandy views fashion awards as a great way for emerging designers to network and really zero down on what makes their brands unique (9:05). Highsnobiety’s own identity has been reiterated through our new magazine, HIGHStyle, which is out now on newsstands (10:48). Virgil’s upcoming work with Nigo also proved to be good timing for him to clear up his “Streetwear is gonna die” comment, and the hosts give their takes on the update (13:06). Sandy talks about her developing interest in fashion during that time along with her go to stores as a New York native, which included Vans. Now, she’s a collaborator with the brand, releasing her own limited edition collection of Classic apparel and footwear (15:41). If you’re in NYC, be sure to stop by the pop-up taking place until the end of this weekend at The General by Vans store in Williamsburg. As a self-identifying Chinatown grandpa in dress and behavior, Jian is curious to hear Sandy’s inspiration for the collection (16:35). Earlier this week, we asked listeners (now officially known as Dropouts) the Question of the Week (QOTW): “What is the hardest collab of the year so far?” (20:15). The cast (on completely objective terms) agree that Sandy’s Vans collab has been the best yet — along with the Mule Boyz x Diemme release. No promises, but maybe keep your eyes out for a Sandy Liang x Mule Boyz collab down the line. The title of “Mule of the Week” is given to a pair by TAKAHIROMIYASHITA TheSoloist. (24:30). A second guest makes his appearance to weigh in on the QOTW, and he hands it to the KITH x Air Force collab (26:43). He also steps in right in time for “What’d You Cop?” with his first drop being this Dropcast promo (28:47). Next episode’s QOTW will be a special treat so be sure to keep your eyes on Highsnobiety’s Instagram. As per usual, make sure to leave a voicemail on The Dropcast hotline at 833-HIGHSNOB (833-444-4766) for a chance to be featured in a future episode. Thomas Jefferson once said “(white folks)… what we need is six years of compulsory education, and what he meant was education for white folks. Why, did he say this, "that white folks needed six years of school? Because he said, “So that they could rack a few geniuses from the rubbish, the rubbish being a dirt pile, or white trash. And remember these are white folks Jefferson was speaking of.” America we have to consider our future. Black America, we can no longer sit around and wait; We have to Reclaim Our Legacy! With so many of our Civil Rights reverting back to pre Civil Rights Movement, and some going back before Reconstruction, we don’t have time to bitch, gripe or complain. It’s time for action!!! We need to set our agenda, draft our legislation, and move forward with solid benchmarks of accomplishments. Our Historically Black Colleges and Universities need support from everyone from alumni, corporations, donors, students, faculty and staff to ensure that Our Legacy is still in tacked
This powerful message shows us what we have in common with Mary, the Mother of Jesus! In this hour we are to carry and release Jesus Christ into this generation, into the world! In order to do this, we must have Mary’s priorities! We must embrace Worship, Heritage, and Legacy! Hope you enjoy the message […] The post Jesus – Our Legacy! appeared first on Phillip Baker Ministries.
