AT&T (T) saw slight traction higher after posting its earnings beat. However, David Trainer believes most of the good news is already priced into the stock. He's more favorable on Verizon (VZ). However, Matt Maley points to AT&T's dividend as a strong defense play. He notes the company, alongside Verizon and T-Mobile (TMUS), are key stocks to watch amid tariff volatility.======== Schwab Network ========Empowering every investor and trader, every market day. How to Trade Stocks and Options Podcast by 10minutestocktrader.com
In this video, we dive into three key areas—politics, market analysis, and how OVTLYR can help traders capitalize on irrational market behavior. Starting off, we discuss some of the latest political updates, including Kamala Harris' surprising decision to avoid the Joe Rogan podcast, as well as how these moves impact broader public opinion and voting trends. We touch on Trump's rise in the polls, and how political shifts, particularly with young male voters, might be influencing the market. After the political rundown, we shift into a deep market analysis, breaking down critical stocks like Tesla, T-Mobile (TMUS), and Blackstone (BX). With Tesla seeing significant movement, we discuss its recent trajectory and how OVTLYR flagged the outlier behavior. TMUS was a big highlight this week as one of our members successfully rode its stock to new highs, thanks to OVTLYR's timely buy signal. Blackstone (BX) also made waves, though it didn't go as planned, reinforcing the importance of having a solid exit strategy. We talk about market breadth and how it's signaling a weaker trend, despite some positive stock movements. This divergence between the market trend and breadth is crucial for traders to recognize—while the market might still be trending upward, the underlying strength is waning, cautioning traders to stay alert. Finally, we showcase how OVTLYR helps traders navigate through market fluctuations, reducing risk and making smarter trades. By analyzing how investors are reacting emotionally, whether through fear or greed, OVTLYR provides buy and sell signals that allow traders to enter and exit at optimal times. We wrap up with a look at how OVTLYR users can get in on these trends early, ride the outlier moves, and secure profits. If you're serious about mastering the market and want to gain the edge, don't forget to check out OVTLYR. T-Mobile (TMUS) was the strongest of the telecom earnings, says Keith Snyder. Consumers are still spending on wireless packages, but not upgrading phones as quickly because of high prices. Keith says promotions are rampant, and many of them are tied to new phone models. It's a margin hit worth it in Snyder's view, for a 2-3 year contract. ======== Schwab Network ======== Empowering every investor and trader, every market day. Gabelli Funds Portfolio Manager, Sergey Dluzhevskiy, shares why T-Mobile is one of our favorite companies in The Gabelli Global Content & Connectivity Fund.
"Verizon (VZ) had another disappointing quarter with regards to a net loss of consumers in the wireless, retail, and postpaid space. The economically challenged marketplace is only making things worse as the Verizon quarterly performance is as bad as it has been in decades. Verizon (VZ) seems to be stuck in the past since they still claim to be the best in the business which is why they charge a premium price for their services. However, T-Mobile (TMUS) has come out of nowhere in the last several years giving Verizon a run for it's money. 5G gives Verizon a new growth opportunity, but it also gives their competitors the same growth opportunity," says Jeff Kagan.

The panelists discuss specific names well-known in the space like T-Mobile (TMUS), AT&T (T) and Verizon (VZ) as well as the lesser known company Vodafone Group (VOD).

"T-Mobile (TMUS) remains best positioned in the mobile space, followed by AT&T (T) and Verizon (VZ)," says Roger Entner. He believes that Verizon's revenue goals are very ambitious and difficult to hit in the longer term. The company also has an increasing exposure to rising content costs, and its stock is down more than 2% in 2021. Finally, he weighs in on Comcast (CMCSA) and says that it should be strong with new wireless family plans.
T-Mobile: TMUS reported earnings of $0.74 in EPS and $19.76B in revenue, beating estimates. Roger Entner provides his take on the company's total net additions of 1.4M and the impact of the Spring merger. Will the stock price continue an upward trend, and how will the company perform amidst tough competition?

The communications company announced Q1 GAAP EPS of $0.74 (beats by $0.18) and revenue of $19.8B (+78.4% Y/Y). Compared to Verizon and AT&T, T-Mobile is an expensive stock. Justification for its high price tag might be supported by their high growth in 5G expansion and postpaid net adds. Should investor pay the hefty price for shares of TMUS?
This evening T-Mobile (#TMUS) announced their Q4 earnings and beat analyst expectations! The company announced GAAP EPS of $0.60 (beat by $0.12) and revenue of $20.34B (beat by $460M).
