Today we discussed a coming-of-age novel called The Sticky Note Manifesto of Aisha Agarwal by Ambika Vohra. This novel, was something that reminded us of our teenage years and also the awkward times that came with being a teenager. We really hope you enjoy this episode! About The Novel: Aisha who is having  a hard time figuring out how to answer the Standford essay question, “how have you gotten out of your comfort zone?” The thing is Aisha hasn't, she hasn't gone to any parties or even had her first kiss. But when her long-time crush, Brian asks her to dance. She thinks that her fate is changing. That is until Brian stands her up. As if on cue, a banged-up car pulls up to the dance, and a guy her age apologizes for being late to pick her up. Aisha doesn't know what he is talking about but is sick of not taking chances so she gets into this stranger's car. To Aisha's relief, seventeen-year-old Quentin isn't a kidnapper but failing math. So they strike a deal if Aisha helps Quentin pass math, he will help push her out of her comfort zone. Except what happens when Aisha's sticky note manifesto is taken off, but she falls for the wrong guy, hurts her best friend, and still can't finish her essay. Victory feels far from reach. Welcome to Sx in Humans, podcast easter egg episodes titled "High with Kanav Vohra". Kanav is a Indian I met on the road to Everest. We shared some great adventures, and have continued to be friends to this day. His wisdom from the lessons of his life traveling through India and the world as a Hindu man are insightful. His eastern approach to his philosophy with an understanding of western ideas is in stark contrast to my western approach with and understanding of eastern ideas. These are unfiltered, open conversations with interesting human beings around the globe on their perspectives and opinions on the changing global culture.  They are an adventure and often a deep dive into the thoughts of humans around the world. Here's to the adventure of your life! Who is Kanav Vohra? Who is the host? I want more Sx in Humans. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/sxinhumanspodcast/message

I spend a lot of time talking about how to create debt for consumers. I do it because I believe that, when done right, debt can be beneficial to all parties involved, like a mortgage that generates wealth for the middle classes through property ownership. But that doesn't lessen the fact that debt carries a cost, a cost that is now quickly rising. We know that mortgage rates are on the up, because it's on every other newspaper headline these days, but what's harder to ascertain is what we can do about that - other than building a time machine to take us back to when houses were cheaper.Except, there are other ways. It's just not in the interest of lenders to make them obvious. Which is why it sometimes takes an outsider to disrupt the status quo. Enter, Jinesh Vohra and Sprive, the app that helps you overpay your monthly mortgage, turning the power of compounding interest in your favour for once.“Being mortgage free should be achievable for everyone… it really changes your life”Jinesh posts regularly on LinkedIn and is open to DMs, so follow his account and do reach out if you have questionsAs mentioned in the show, your first port of call if you want to check out the app is your friendly local App Store (Apple) or (Android)If it is just information you're after, then Sprive's home page is where it is likely to be https://sprive.com/ And you don't take their word for it, it seems like every week there's a new letter in the press, or update online, from a happy customer (~40% of SpriveApp's active user growth was from customer referrals). While you can learn more about myself, Brendan le Grange, on my LinkedIn page (feel free to connect), my action-adventure novels are on Amazon, some versions even for free, and my work with ConfirmU and our gamified psychometric scores is at https://confirmu.com/ and on episode 24 of this very show https://www.howtolendmoneytostrangers.show/episodes/episode-24If you have any feedback or questions, if you would like to participate in the show, or if you'd like to find full written transcripts with timestamps head on over to HowtoLendMoneytoStrangers.ShowOh, and since you like banking podcasts, head on over to https://blog.feedspot.com/banking_podcasts/ to find related content that you may find interesting.
