Does God actually like you - or just love you because He has to?If you're a high-achieving Christian woman in business or leadership who feels like God is constantly evaluating, correcting, and disappointed with you, this episode of the Don't Waste the Chaos Podcast with Christian business & HR consultant Kerri Roberts is for you. We'll unpack why so many Christian women in business and faith-driven leadership feel spiritually “behind,” emotionally exhausted, and secretly convinced that God only tolerates them - and how Scripture says something very different. In this solo episode, Kerri invites Christian women in leadership, entrepreneurs, and ambitious, faith-driven professionals into a deeper look at God's heart. Drawing from her own story of leaving corporate life, downshifting to a Missouri farm, and walking through therapy, tapping, and spiritual unraveling, she reframes godly success as emotional health, identity, and spiritual confidence rooted in being liked and delighted in by God.You'll hear how attachment research, childhood patterns, and church culture can wire us to believe God is more corrective than relational - and how passages like Zephaniah 3, Psalm 18, John 15, and the prodigal son in Luke 15 reveal a God who rejoices over you, runs toward you, and calls you friend. Kerri walks through practical ways to rewire your nervous system and your imagination so that your leadership, business, marriage, and parenting flow out of being deeply enjoyed by God, not frantically trying to earn His approval. If you're a faith-driven entrepreneur or Christian woman in business who's tired of constant internal performance reviews, this conversation will help you experience God's delight, embrace your God-given limits, and step into more grounded, joyful, godly success without burning out.Tune in to hear:High-capacity Christian women often confuse responsibility with identity. We project our caregivers onto God. Scripture shows a God who delights, not just tolerates. Your limits are not a failure—they're a feature. Practical practices can reshape how you see God. Sponsor: HR in a BoxIf you're a small to mid-sized business owner who loves Jesus and wants to lead your people with excellence, HR in a Box is Kerri's signature, done-with-you HR system. It helps Christian entrepreneurs and leaders build healthy teams, fair pay structures, and sustainable people operations - without losing your soul (or your weekends) to HR chaos. It's built so you can steward your team well and still have margin for your faith, family, and emotional health.Resources & MentionsDevotional: You Were Never Meant to Do It All – A 40-Day Devotional on the Goodness of Being Human by Kelly Kapic (mentioned as part of Kerri's current spiritual + emotional formation work). https://amzn.to/4iicNKYIf this episode softened how you picture God or opened even a small door toward believing that He actually likes you, don't keep that to yourself.Subscribe to Don't Waste the Chaos on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify so you don't miss the upcoming episodes in this series on identity, emotional health, and godly success.Share this episode with a Christian woman in business or leadership who loves God but secretly believes He's mostly disappointed in her.Join Kerri's Monday Email List for deeper teaching on identity, leadership, and spiritual confidence for Christian women in leadership and faith-driven entrepreneurs: saltmidadvisors.com/contactSupport the show

Send us a textIntroduction:  In an era where political and social issues intertwine, the recent episode of Clarity from Chaos with host Dave Campbell and guest David Cancio provides a critical examination of immigration and its implications on American society. With the midterms approaching, it's more important than ever to engage in meaningful dialogue about the policies that shape our nation.Main Content:  **The State of Immigration in America**  The podcast kicks off with David Campbell expressing his concerns about the current political landscape, specifically regarding the midterm elections. He emphasizes that the issues at hand transcend party lines, stating, "This is our country, not the politicians." This sentiment resonates throughout the discussion, particularly when addressing the complexities of immigration.David Cancio, the guest, delves into the nuances of illegal immigration, highlighting the motivations of those who seek refuge in the United States. He notes, "If I were in some of the circumstances that a lot of these people are in and I had a family to feed, I'd be doing the same thing." This empathetic approach underscores the humanity behind immigration, while also advocating for a more common-sense approach to policy.**The Challenge of Assimilation**  A significant point raised during the conversation is the challenge of assimilation among immigrant communities. Cancio points out that while many immigrants strive to build new lives, there is a growing concern that some do not wish to fully integrate into American society. He states, "What it has done is created a society that does not care for the importance of assimilation." This divide is particularly evident in discussions surrounding the Somali community in Minnesota, where cultural differences have led to tensions and challenges in integration.**Political Accountability and Corruption**  As the discussion progresses, the conversation shifts to political accountability, particularly concerning the actions of elected officials. Campbell and Cancio explore the implications of corruption within communities, citing examples from Minnesota's Somali community. They emphasize the need for transparency and responsibility among politicians, with Campbell noting that the ongoing investigations could lead to significant changes in representation.**The Role of the Church and Community Engagement**  In a thought-provoking conclusion, Campbell suggests that the church should take a more active role in political engagement, advocating for candidates who embody responsibility and integrity. He believes that a spiritual revival could inspire voters to elect leaders who prioritize the well-being of their constituents over personal or party agendas. Conclusion:  The episode of Clarity from Chaos serves as a vital reminder of the complexities surrounding immigration and the political climate in America. By acknowledging the human stories behind immigration, advocating for accountability, and encouraging community engagement, listeners are empowered to participate in meaningful conversations about the future of theSupport the show"Wherever you find yourself is exactly and precisely where God wills you to be" Support our show at the following: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2063276/support Follow us on X: @CFC30290 Follow us on Rumble: https://rumble.com/c/c-3123766 Website: https://clarityfromchaospodcast.buzzsprout.com/ Website: https://clarityfromchaos.substack.com YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFk-DsClSJ6m0GDmAcA7AAg Thanks for listening to Clarity from Chaos

Navigating the Future of Farming: Insights from the Clarity from Chaos Podcast

Clarity from Chaos Podcast

Send us a textIntroduction: In a world where agriculture faces unprecedented challenges, understanding the dynamics of farming today is crucial. In a recent episode of the Clarity from Chaos podcast, host Dave Campbell and author Brian Reisinger delve deep into the complexities affecting the farming community, providing valuable insights into government policies, trade issues, and the future of family farms. The Current Landscape of Farming  The discussion kicks off with an examination of the tumultuous relationship between farmers and government agencies. Reisinger highlights the impact of recent government shutdowns on farmers, emphasizing how essential services, like crop registration at county farm service agencies, were disrupted. This situation was exacerbated by ongoing debates over trade assistance, particularly regarding tariffs that directly affect farmers' livelihoods. Farmers, who are already navigating a complex landscape, found themselves in a precarious position during critical harvest seasons.  The Family Farm Crisis  As the conversation progresses, Reisinger shares a stark reality: family farms are increasingly feeling neglected. With a historical decline in the number of farms—losing 45,000 each year for over a century—the sense of urgency to support these essential businesses is palpable. Reisinger argues that family farms are often placed at the back of the line when it comes to government support, leading to dire consequences for food prices and national security. The Role of Foreign Investment  Another pressing issue discussed is the growing trend of foreign investment in American farmland, particularly from countries like China. Reisinger points out the alarming increase in farmland owned by foreign interests, which has more than doubled in just two years. The need for transparency in these transactions is critical, as the line between friendly investment and adversarial acquisition becomes blurred. Without proper regulations, the future of American agriculture hangs in the balance.  The Importance of Collaboration  Throughout the episode, Campbell and Reisinger emphasize the need for collaboration between farmers and policymakers. Successful conservation efforts can emerge when farmers, who are inherently invested in the land, work alongside environmental advocates. However, the current narrative often pits these two groups against each other, hindering potential solutions for sustainable agriculture. Conclusion: Key Takeaways  The Clarity from Chaos podcast episode serves as a wake-up call for anyone invested in the future of agriculture. The challenges facing farmers today are not just economic; they are deeply intertwined with national security, food quality, and community health. As listeners take away the insights shared by Campbell and Reisinger, it becomes clear that the future of farming lies in understanding the complexities of government policies, the impact of foreign investments, and the necessity of collaboration among all stakeholders. Tags:Support the show"Wherever you find yourself is exactly and precisely where God wills you to be" Support our show at the following: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2063276/support Follow us on X: @CFC30290 Follow us on Rumble: https://rumble.com/c/c-3123766 Website: https://clarityfromchaospodcast.buzzsprout.com/ Website: https://clarityfromchaos.substack.com YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFk-DsClSJ6m0GDmAcA7AAg Thanks for listening to Clarity from Chaos

This week on Finding Serenity in the Midst of Chaos Podcast, we are answering another listener's question. The question was: "How to find a new purpose after major changes in life?" Major life changes may be moving house, starting a new job, having a baby, loss of someone you love, divorce, finding a new life partner or change in physical ability after a major incident. As you'll hear in this episode, this is not a matter of finding a new purpose, but rather about connecting with the purpose you already have. I am not here to give you a step-by-step guide on the is but I did bring some interesting insights. 98% of people live in an unconscious state driven by their ego's desire to be recognised, validated, to be right and to be bigger and better than others. This is why our job titles and what we do rather than who we are, become more important. If you find yourself living in this unconscious state, it'll be a lot harder to navigate through big life changes, because the change threatens your 'chosen identity!' In today's episode, I shed some light on how to shift your identity from what you do, to who you truly are in the core and how easily you'll not just find but accept your new purpose. Plus you'll no longer need validation of permission from others to live this purpose. Join us today in this conversation and remember to leave a review on Apple Podcasts so we can help more people together. ---------------------

Well, I don't suffer from much anxiety these days, but there was a time I used to wake up feeling anxious or found it hard to fall asleep. This always coincided with when my head was full of 'stuff', I have been working in the evening or just engaging in some 'social media' at night! It is vital that we understand the primary reasons why young people no longer believe if we want to help them return to the faith.   In this episode, Catherine airs an important conversation she had recently on the Redeeming the Chaos Podcast with Laurie Christine. Catherine and Laurie discuss new research which tells us why young people are bailing on Christianity. Highlighted are the 7 most prominent reasons Gen Zrs cite for walking away from the Christian faith. They are:   1. I have a hard time believing that a good God would allow so much evil or suffering in the world (29%): see EPISODE 66 w/ Dr. Douglas Groothuis 2. Christians are hypocrites (23%) 3. I used to go to church, but it's just not important to me anymore (12%) 7. I had a bad experience in church/with a Christian (6%) see Episodes 39, 40, 41, & 42; see “When Narcissism Comes to Church: Healing Your Community from Emotional & Spiritual Abuse” by Dr. Chuck DeGroat   Catherine offers some helpful resources to consult if a child you know has embraced one of these claims about Christianity, and she and Laurie also offer some helpful resources for discipling younger kids in the faith.   BIO: Laurie Christine is an author, podcast host, Biblical Parenting Coach, wife, and mom of four loud, adventurous boys. Jealous Minds - Interview with Shanenn BryantToday, our guest is Shanenn Bryant, a relationship confidence expert and one of the select few who focus on jealousy in relationships. Many people have daily anxiety and mistrust of their partners, even without evidence of infidelity. This fear runs so deep from either childhood dysfunction or past infidelity that they've now developed insecure habits like checking their partner's phone, text messages, and social media accounts for any signs of infidelity. Shanenn is here on Calming the Chaos Podcast to discuss jealousy, how it can hurt relationships, and how people can move past jealousy and into trusting relationships with themselves and others. Key points and Timestamps:2:42: Shanenn's story of chaos and how she became a Jealousy Relationship Expert4:50: Shannen – “If my own father doesn't love me, then why would anyone else?”5:50 Shannen – Jealousy is shameful for people to admit. “There's a lot of time wasted when your attention is focused on your partner 90% of the time.”Jealousy affects all major life domains: Home, work, family, etc.7:27: Shanenn - The difference between jealousy and envy9:07 Shannen - How Jealousy shows up (3 ways)1. Projection – Have YOU cheated in the past, so jealousy is projected onto another person2. Protection – Were YOU in a relationship before where you were cheated on, so jealousy is protective3. Competition – Were YOU in a friend group where you were excluded or uninvited to events, so jealousy is competitive in nature. 11:46: Tracy asks Shanenn to describe some situations where people are jealousTwo buckets:1. Family of origin is unstable2. The adult experience of infidelity on you helped you to develop insecure habits of protection“Jealousy isn't a problem, it's a solution.” “What is the jealousy trying to solve?”13:47 Tracy presents Hypothetical Jealousy Situation #1 to Shannen and she responds about what she would do1. No cheating is happening, but jealousy is happening.Shanenn: The first step is you need to get self-aware of what you are doing. Then, realize that it probably has nothing to do with what your partner is doing, but how YOU are perceiving what is going on. Then, asking yourself, “Why do you have so much fear about this?” Look at the beliefs and thoughts and check the facts.18:27 Tracy presents Hypothetical Jealousy Situation #2 to Shanenn and she responds about what she would do2. Cheating has happened in the pastShanenn: It's important for the offender to come clean about the whole story of the infidelity one time, preferably in the presence of a professional. It's also important to give the offended partner time to process it, and consider the information they REALLY want to know, and what information might hurt them.21:46: Tracy – Do you work with the person who ISN'T the jealous person? Setting boundaries and limits to questions and requests for reassurance. Work toward not providing reinforcement to the jealous partner24:40 Tracy – When is there manageable jealousy and toxic jealousy? How can we figure that out and take action?
