You're on the Crisis Hotline With Doc, a series that focuses on all the Crisis events in the DC Universe. It is not a review program but rather a reader's guide and introduction to those events that highlights the importance of them to the DC Universe. In this thirteenth installment, Doc and Angus confront a darkness greater than anything they've ever faced in the pages of a Crisis event. This also marks the suspension of the series until DC publishes more Crisis events. Once that happens we will return to review them. We hope you enjoy this episode and thank you for taking this journey with us. Dark Crisis On Infinite Earths https://www.amazon.com/Dark-Crisis-Infinite-Earths-2022-ebook/dp/B0C6MYNBLB/ Crisis on Infinite Earths. Infinite Crisis. Final Crisis. Welcome to Neo-Reality Collective | Pop-Culture News and Reviews Talk, Hosted by Eric Brown! In the Eighty-Second Episode, DC Comics shatters the DCU with their upcoming comic book universe-wide event, Absolute Power, by the DC All-Star Duo of World's Finest and Shazam, Mark Waid and Dan Mora, with The Trinity of Evil starting an all-out war with the heroes of Earth, building off years of stories from Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths, Lazarus Planet, Dawn of DC, Knight Terrors, and Beast World! But the question lingers…what is DC's Rumored Scott Snyder-Lead Absolute Comic Line that's rumored to come following this event? The Perfect Organism invades Earth's Mightiest Heroes in a Secret Wars Reunion team of Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribić as Alien: Romulus is coming onto the scene. X-Men From The Ashes continues to build to unsustainable organism levels of comics with three core ongoings and many satellite ongoings with Tom Brevoort's plans to flood the market with many new X-Men #1s to come out every month as opposed to the rumored Magazine Format that Jonathan Hickman proposed for the Krakoa Era X-Men. Welcome to Neo-Reality Collective | Pop-Culture News and Reviews Talk, Hosted by Eric Brown! In the Sixty-First Episode, James Gunn ruffled WBD Management's feathers over comments regarding the previous regimes of DC Studios, much to anyone wanting the company to acknowledge continuing to protect Ezra Miller has only harmed the company in their efforts to release The Flash. YouTube horror series, The Backroom, is coming to the big screen with the creator in the directing chair. DC Comics' upcoming Adventures of Superman: Jon Kent miniseries will return us to the world of Injustice as part of the DC Multiverse and Continuity! Star Wars' fans rejoice as the upcoming Jedi: Survivor will feature Fast Travel. Meanwhile, Xbox's Acquisition of Activision-Blizzard continues to face an upheaval battle as the European Union sends a Formal Antitrust warning regarding the potential ramifications. Ridley Scott's Gladiator 2 is finally set to entertain the crowd in 2024 as James Cameron admits Jack could've survived The Titanic, which took him over twenty years. EA's upcoming Iron Man begins production as the Comic side of The Marvel Universe announces an upcoming Hulk Annual that will reveal the next creative team for the green beast. Tom Taylor's plate continues to fill up as he tackles The Titans, a brand new ongoing series set after the events of Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths, where the former Sidekicks take on the role of the next primary superhero team in the wake of The Justice League's disbandment. Logan and Indiana Jones Director, James Mangold, is in early talks for Swamp Thing; I think he should also do Supergirl since Woman of Tomorrow is the inspiration for that film. Disney announces sequels to Toy Story, Frozen, and Zootopia are in the works…while also mentioning mass layoffs are coming to restructure the company, and they've recently lost their own district due to petty governor's horrible beliefs not being backed by them. Poison Ivy, conceived initially as Six-Issue Miniseries, expanding to 12-Issues by the halfway point, has officially been promoted to Ongoing Status by DC Comics while WBD is planning to keep Discovery+ active for the foreseeable future. These encounters and many more make up a tale of comic and cosmic proportions that has Difool fighting for not only his very survival, but also the survival of the entire universe. NRC Reviews The New Golden Age #1 One Shot! The New Golden Age from DC Starts Here! Spinning out of the Conclusion of Flashpoint Beyond, The New Golden Age Starts The Strangest Mystery to Ever Plague the DC Universe. From the 1940s to the 3040s, great heroes across the DC timeline take on the great evils of their era. But in the aftermath of Flashpoint Beyond, those heroes and villains will have their lives turned upside down, from the past to the far future. The New Golden Age one-shot from Geoff Johns lands at comic book shops on November 8th. It will unlock DC's epic and secret-ridden history of heroism, launching a new group of titles with Justice Society of America and Stargirl: The Lost Children. “I'm happy to be writing these two titles, each one of them focused on celebrating and expanding the history (and far future) of heroism in the DC Universe, exploring unseen heroes, villains, and adventures alongside the ones we all know and love,” said Geoff Johns. “Our goal is to delve into the neglected corners of DC with this new group of titles, from the JSA to the Legion and all those who operate between. It's the story of where superheroes came from, where they're going and why they're always needed.” DC's future...and its past...will never be the same again. But how are Mime and Marionette connected to this? Why are Rip Hunter and the Time Masters the most unlikable heroes in the DC Universe? And who or what is...Nostalgia? Don't miss the start of the strangest mystery ever plaguing the DC Universe. THE NEW GOLDEN AGE #1 Written by GEOFF JOHNS After making their long-awaited return in the pages of Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths #3, the Justice Society of America (JSA) is back in “Justice Society of America: The New Golden Age Part One.” Or are they? A long-lost hero from the JSA crashes into our era with a grave warning...but it's too late. A mysterious and malevolent enemy has invaded the entire history of the JSA, and an all-new team must come together to defeat it. But what deadly secret does this messenger from beyond keep? Where are they from? And why is all of this happening now? Only the Time Masters know. Background music: “White Atlantis” by Sergey Cheremisinov. User under an Attribution-NonCommercial License.

Welcome to Neo-Reality Collective | Pop-Culture News and Reviews Talk, Hosted by Eric Brown! In the Fifty-Fourth Episode, in this episode, Activision's CCO Frances Townsend, someone who was criticized for her comments and actions during the company's lawsuit, has stepped now in her role and serves in an advisory position to the board and CEO (Sadly). At the same time, Tencent plans to expand its tendrils across the gaming industry by buying more majority stakes overseas. For some reason that makes no sense besides Sony being greedy, Horizon Zero Dawn joins The Last of Us Part One in an unexpected remake for the PlayStation 5, which has been jailbroken two years after release! Fandom makes unexpected purchases by acquiring GameSpot, Metacritic, and Giant Bomb. Michael Waldron, who has written Loki and Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness, is now tasked to follow up Avengers: Kang Dynasty with a more significant Multiversal Threat known only as Avengers: Secret Wars. House of The Dragon's seventh episode was known for carrying an old Game of Thrones tradition, which makes the episode too dark, not in terms of storytelling and tone, but in lightening, revealed to have been intentional. During all the corporate politics, Xbox launched a website to showcase the benefits of Xbox buying Activision-Blizzard. They are also faced issues with the launch of Overwatch 2 with DDOS attacks and The National Labor Relations Board confirming that the publisher withheld pay raises. CD Projekt Red has announced THREE Witcher Games, a new Cyberpunk, and a new unnamed IP, while Cyberpunk Orion is set to have hundreds of developers work on the game. DC Comics announces their next event comic, which, I must remind you, Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths, is still ongoing. It will explore the fallout of Mark Waid's Batman vs. Robin limited series, known only as Lazarus Planet! And in sad DC-related news, WarnerBros. Discovery enables Ezra Miller's terrible behavior by having them return as The Flash for reshoots to the titular film, but don't worry. They apologized, which means everything they've done is a-okay! This video, Jared reacts to the recent revelations of the aftermath of Dark Crisis On Infinite Earths/ the apparent reboot of the DC Universe. He outlines the two types of reboot, which one is appropriate, how to properly execute the reboot, and why this reboot is necessary. Let's face it, it's about time DC decided to reboot their continuity and return to the fundamentals of DC (e.g., no knockoff JL characters). The past few years, the continuity has been a confusing mess. Email below what you want to see in the new continuity, what should stay, go, stay the same, etc. Subscribe for more analysis into comic book editorial analysis, continuity discussion, and general comic book talk. #DawnOfTheDCU #DarkCrisis #Comics #New52 #Reboot Check out our awesome other shows on our Youtube Channel where we have other shows dedicated to a wide array of topics: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTtjdjM7N8_PLprDIdMJCWQ Follow us on instagram: comicsleague2021 Email us: comicsleague2020@gmail.com Website: https://comicsleague.com

50 Episodes. 50 Episodes since the show came back from the YouTube Daily News Show during the high point of a global pandemic, but we've reached a major milestone for the podcast. Hours Upon Hours of Content, Tons of Bonus Reviews, and Sponsored by The EveryDayFans since 40. But we've reached it... The Season Two Finale! Hello and Welcome to Neo-Reality Collective | Pop-Culture News and Reviews Talk, Hosted by Eric Brown! And boy, hard to believe we've made it this far, and this episode might be the biggest yet since Episode 3's THREE HOUR talk (Looking back, that should've been broken up into three episodes). It features Dwayne Johnson Black Adam drama from a revelation The Rock has made regarding Shazam, a sudden explosive take on Disney Star Wars in the wake of the announcements of Star Wars: Hidden Empire and Star Wars: Revelations in their comic book universe, and further dramas in regards to Ezra Miller and Their Future and The WarnerBros. Discovery Merger Aftereffects (We can't seem to escape all the drama going on over there.) The CW Network is set to be bought outright. Still, WBD pledges the continuation of Scripted Content on the platform despite cutting 200 Episodes of Sesame Street, Infinity Train, and 30+ Other shows from HBO MAX, which ruffled feathers in the community outside of a growing movement to demand the release of HBO MAX's Batgirl after filming was complete, music was scored, and all that remained was the editing process. Avatar: The Last Airbender seems to be getting a console game soon, while The New Tales of The Borderlands also has a leaked release date in October. Unity rejects a 17.5 BILLION DOLLAR Takeover offer to remain their status quo as The Embracer Group acquires Middle-Earth Enterprises and the video game and movie rights to the whole of Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit as we learn an Iron Man Open World Game was in the works from the creators of Just Cause before Disney and Marvel canned in 2012. The Knights of The Old Republic Remake looked to be in trouble back in July but now seems to have been moved around in The Embracer Group to Saber Interactive from Aspyr. DC Comics, meanwhile, travels back to the 90s with new WildCATS Ongoing and a second Spawn/Batman Crossover and begins a New Golden Age with Geoff Johns at the helm of a new Justice Society of America ongoing and Stargirl: The Lost Children Miniseries. Final Fantasy Director discusses the franchise is currently struggling despite the breadth of content coming out over the next two years alone, such as FF7R Rebirth, Crisis Core, FF16, and expansions in Moblie and PC Gaming. And Streaming in The United States has overtaken Cable/Broadcast Television for the first time ever in the long history of Neilson. It's been a wild ride here on Neo-Reality Collective, and it doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon; with 50 Episodes in the can, we look forward to coming back with Season Three, but in the meantime, we'll be back doing bonus reviews for Event Comics A.X.E.: Judgement Day and Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths along with HBO's House of The Dragon.
