On this episode of the World Game-Changers podcast, Paul is joined by Bridget Kigambo to talk about the comparing the circumstances and situations faced by previous generations of Ugandan women, and women around the world, to those faced by the current generation around femininity, with specific reference to FGM (female genital mutilation). KEY TAKEAWAYS In Uganda we have tribes that practice FGM. Mostly it happens in Northern Uganda and it is a cultural way of cutting (or circumcision), because our ancestors and traditional leaders believed you had to be circumcised to get married. In most cases, in a typical family, at 5 years old your mother can send you to your aunt's place where they take you through the initiation of why you should be cut and how it will benefit you as a woman. With the wrong tools that they carry out that activity, sometimes it's so painful that they have to tie the girls to the table and the cultural leader (who is a female) comes and slices you with either a razor blade or a knife. With the help from civil society organisations and NGOs like Unicef, UNU, NFTA and other international organisations that invest funds to create awareness and train communities about how it is a human rights abuse to circumcise young women, especially children because it deprives them of sexual pleasure and it disfigures the reproductive parts of a woman. If god created you with a full vagina with a clitoris inside and the culture says you need to cut it off, it somehow dismantles the whole reproductive system of a woman and causes several diseases, not forgetting the trauma that comes with the circumcision. Through these programmes and activities, I see organisations creating awareness on how FGM not only deprives women of their divinity or their ability to carry on with their work or lead lives normally, but it's not a must that every woman who has to get married has to go through FGM. Redefining femininity for me would mean being in a female-friendly community where I can fully exploit my potential, full access to all the basic needs I need as a woman to not only be a woman but also reach out to the spaces where before women were not allowed. Traditionally, African families were expected to invest more in their boys, no matter how many girls you had, because they believed that when the kids are old enough for marriage the women take all the glory, wealth and knowledge that they receive to the next family – they don't belong to the families they are born into. But currently, I would say most families are more invested in supporting all girls in a way that they should go to school the same as the boys. BEST MOMENTS ‘My family doesn't believe in FGM, but from the stories that we hear FGM somehow contributes to your divinity as a woman because if you're not circumcised, or cut, you most definitely won't get married or get a husband.' ‘With the kind of awareness and knowledge sharing that we are having, we're noticing reduced cases especially in the North. It's better now and we're getting there to a point where FGM will not be there anymore.' ‘We have women MPs as well as men MPs, even in religious structures that used to be so rigid that they wouldn't allow religious leaders to be women, we're starting to see some institutions providing platforms and opportunities for women to lead, which is a great way for us to redefine femininity.' ‘We are working towards enabling young women and girls to not only identify their skills and potentials, but also manage them to see what they can do towards creating gender inclusion and equality in our communities.' Value of holding a glitch art NFT NiftyGateway.com Transcript [00:00:00] Today on all about affordable NFTs, the team buys the next copy. Hopefully we are actually on this episode live because of when we're recording and when this drop is happening going to be talking through our hopeful ability to buy the X copy dropping on March 24th. on the Nifty gateway, Andrew. [00:00:24] Good. Just so you know, watch and watching this drop today, it's been good. There's been a few different parts to it. The edition that we're looking at is still coming up here, but it's the final part. And man, it's been exciting to watch some pretty big bids on some of the auction items early on here. [00:00:40] They were an addition of six and addition of 12, I believe that addition of six was a. I think the minimum was about 70,000. Sorry. I lost track of that one. At the end. Let's see. Have you been watching this as, along the way, George? [00:00:56] I've been looking at it. And then just to take a step back, explain what's going on nifty gateway.com is one of these NFT platforms that is a much, much more curated experience there. I'll just be honest in the past. And a touch critical that some of the drops they're just lack community behind it and community is what drives marketplace values. [00:01:18] It has been pretty thin secondary on a lot of general pieces though. They are able, I will say this very able to bring in amazing artists and I'll just say an ex copy is something that I thought was beyond my general purchasing power. So we have our eye on one in particular, the max Payne open edition it's max Payne and friends. [00:01:40] And it's very much in the style of glitch art X copy. That is really emblematic of one of these art movements. And I'm excited about it, but in. I'm already breaking one of the rules that I claimed I was buying a piece that is one eith I claimed I would only [00:01:59] you said I believe you said, [00:02:01] over 180, so I think you may technically be okay here and I even on, and I'm going to go a little further here on nifty your gas lists. [00:02:10] Oh, [00:02:11] Until you get it out you've gotta, you gotta pay something to get it out of the the wallet there, but it's this is the first time I've heard a lot of people talking about nifty gateway in awhile. [00:02:21] They do get a lot of big artists still. I was looking through some of the recent drops, but it seems like people were really excited about this one. And X copy is an artist that little. Oh, it's everybody seems to know beyond even if they're just into maybe PFP and FTS profile, picture type projects, they still know the name X copy. [00:02:42] They recognize X copy. And a lot of people still don't have it. Don't have a piece from him. So this is one of the this should be one of the biggest mints that he's done. Maybe the biggest there has been some criticism about the one eighth price and. It thinking that it's maybe too high looking at what's out there right now the cheapest four piece is about three and a half E I believe. [00:03:06] And that's that's an addition of 600 from NFT boxes that was done last year. So you know, I, it is an expensive mint. It is also quite a bit lower than what the market is priced at right. [00:03:20] now. I understand why people think it may be too much there are. He did it. [00:03:24] It is it's an artist that has proven he'll come back to pieces and will deliver value. And doesn't forget as collectors. [00:03:30] And so to clear it up a bit more, an open edition means that as many times as humans, click mint, I guess bots too. But as many times as mint. In a window of, in this case, I believe it's gonna be 10 minutes and it's going to happen in seven minutes, by the way, let's keep an eye on that clock. But in that window, as many times as humans, click mint, that is how many will be in the marketplace. [00:03:52] Is that correct? [00:03:53] Yeah. that's how they do that. Open edition. It's not my favorite thing to collect or men just because you don't know how many will be there at the end. And as it's there's been many open additions that have left people without much of a secondary market. I don't really expect that to happen with this one. [00:04:13] I don't think that it's going to be. A piece that will see a sudden rise in value. But I also think that if you're looking for a long-term hold for me and artists, that will be considered one of the artists that really was. Bleeding edge of going into NFTE art. I think it's a good play there. [00:04:33] Because there's still a like I said, it's still a pretty high priced artists to get into otherwise at three and a half feet. [00:04:40] Yeah. And I think it's, I just, I really I'm excited about it, but I also acknowledge that here's what will likely happen and I think it will be interesting cause the listener can go and currently look at what is max pain trending at on open sea or on nifty gateway, because it's weird. [00:04:57] It'll be a dual market as well. And there's going to be a lot of flipping and some FOMO. I wouldn't be surprised to see the price actually get below mint. I would be a little surprised to see people dip below mint because I think the people that are knowledgeable of X copy one, understand that place and are likely wanting to hold it. [00:05:16] Like the, my problem is that like I'm walking up this money for a very long time because I want to hold it. I just I'm excited about holding this particular artist and I respect. That he has proven and conducted himself in the space sort of giving access to previous holders and really just maintaining a style and consistency of work where you can look at a thing and. [00:05:35] That is an X copy style in the same way that you can say oh, that is in the style of Monet. Oh, I get it. This is like an impressionist style. And so it checks a lot of those boxes, but I wouldn't be surprised if later on this maybe drops down and I'm emotionally prepared for it because what we were talking about the other day what would you buy and hold for three years? [00:05:57] Like something like this probably. [00:05:58] Yeah. [00:05:59] absolutely. If we had a chance to do that with one eighth of that five towards this it's something that I would absolutely be willing to hold. So I think one interesting thing that we haven't talked about here with this drop is that it's some of the earlier parts that I alluded to earlier. People that were holders of an earlier nifty gateway meant of his a, it was called afterburn. [00:06:22] There were two pieces, two parts of that after burning guzzler. So you could take an afterburn and enter that into a drawing. So there were about 870 of those, afterburns before the. You could enter any one of those into a drawing. If it was selected, it would be burned. And in return you'd get a green version instead of the red version that was common in the 870. [00:06:47] So it's a more limited edition version. So then it's reducing the supply of that initial piece too. So then the second part of this. Still coming up here is if you can take two of the afterburn additions it made actually going right now, as we are speaking you take two of these afterburn additions and burn them for another open edition. [00:07:08] It's actually three different open additions. You can select one of three and. Get any one of those three, if you do burn those two, of course you lose the two of them, but you get a very exclusive piece by doing so. As we're recording this, the floor price for those afterburns, that's been going around six and a half hours, the high sixes, low sevens. [00:07:28] So it's a pricey piece. So burning two of those is big by. It should be passing some of the value to the new piece, but that's a lot to do. So you're also putting it all into one piece then. It's an interesting drop, but as you're it is an example of how he is coming back to old pieces. [00:07:46] And I wouldn't be surprised to see this open edition used in a similar manner for our drop in the future where you can baby burn pieces or somehow reduce the supply of these so that it's not a huge addition for us. [00:07:59] Yeah, and I think you were speculating. Hold on two minute warning, two minute and 50 seconds more and let's not talk through. [00:08:05] thank you. [00:08:06] The over-under that you said you think 5,000 of these things are going to be minted. [00:08:12] That's, it's a high number. I don't know. It's a number that I heard. It was listening to it, a Twitter spaces. It was a number of, they were floating around there and it didn't seem far off to me when I start thinking about the demand that is out there. I was looking at some numbers today of what I could put together for X copies. [00:08:30] Secondary market. I've found that there's about 25,000 each that's been traded on secondary volume. So a lot of that I shouldn't say a lot of that. That's actually a small number of that is just one-on-one one-on-one work, which is on super air. A good number of that has just been. Purchased originally, and then held by the original mentor or purchaser, I should say it's done super at the artists typically Minson themselves. [00:08:55] But. Sorry, but there has been a lot more there's been a lot of grading that it's a good secondary market, it's it? It doesn't the prices don't dip much just looking at it over time there's, it seems like the interest is growing. So I would not be surprised to see it go that high it's. [00:09:13] I know it is [00:09:14] All right. So you're going to take the over, I'll take the under, but you realize we're talking about $15 million in event. [00:09:20] Yeah, I know that is, and it's 10 minutes. I hope that I'm high on that one. I just, because I want to, I'd like to [00:09:27] sure. You're all set up on nifty. You have to get that prepaid Ethan there it's [00:09:31] I've got that. I've [00:09:32] and they blocked certain cards. They're like, oh, sorry. No capital ones. And oh, it takes five [00:09:37] Oh, you can move. You can send me from a from a wallet as well. [00:09:42] correct. Yeah, they've done. I will say a lot of work. They've done a lot of work to improve the UX at nifty for actually integrating with the rest of. No crypto interfaces and wallets and I hats [00:09:56] are we here? We get to take a look [00:09:57] We got 42 seconds. You're going to refresh the page or not refresh. [00:10:00] You're gonna wait for it to happen. What do you want to do? [00:10:02] I I don't have a lot of I don't have a ton of experience on these nifty gateway sites. [00:10:08] a bit of a nifty X brown, go ahead and refresh. I don't want to get caught in the page cache with, cause I really like the other game is like mint number, right? So oh, when you know what mint number do you get? So if you're not first, then you're like, oh, don't want the hundredth or something or what number you got? [00:10:23] at the top of this at the top of the screen, when you do a refresh [00:10:27] Two, one mint, prepaid Eve, my alarm going off in the background purchase, complete Alexa stop. [00:10:36] also. Wow, that's a good price for each right now. [00:10:39] I was watching it all day. I was like, of course. And the last two days, this thing is like freaking rip. [00:10:44] Not good for purchasing, I should say. Good for [00:10:48] I feel like he does the exact opposite. I always wanted to do. Yeah. Oh, I am so pleased by this. I am very happy. [00:10:55] So now we can watch it. We can actually watch this live. How many are minted? I believe I was just noticing that we did the other mince that I was mentioning where you could burn two of these. They are complete. So you can take a look at the number of the number that were actually it did. [00:11:14] There it'd be. [00:11:15] Max Payne, open additions. I don't see. But I always want to come back to this like really quickly and why we wanted to do that. Like the team buys an X copy live, like this is part of the attraction of. Alive drop. It is part of the excitement that frankly NFTs have we were saying like, oh, you're just trading things like right now I have the dopamine rush. [00:11:38] I'm like actually excited. I was nervous. There is a whole process there. And now like a hilarious story of oh, when I bought that thing, we were doing a live podcast. This is one of the things that. And I'll use the word addictive, but hopefully with the lower case, in the sense that like it's fun and I would probably do it again. [00:11:58] Hopefully not at that price Angeles, the last time I'm going to spend one Heath on something. But I think hopefully we conveyed that and capture that. And then the people listening to podcasts, probably minted things before, but that's one of those thinking about onboarding for new people. [00:12:12] Type of excitement and experiences that I think if nifty actually gets right there, like it's pretty easy to onboard there. It's clean. You heard us click done as opposed to oh, wait a minute. Am I writing to a contract? Oh, this site's a little weird, what do I it's, [00:12:26] Yeah, absolutely. It's it is very easy. It was actually impressed me how quickly that went forgot what it is like when it is nice and smooth, like that it's like minting on polygon or something where you don't need to just wait for the gas to get through. So I was looking also at those other additions that I mentioned just to give some context there. [00:12:46] Let's see, 2134 and 33 of the various pieces. So that was another 88 total additions. So it means that there were another 176 of those after burns burned. So there total of, let's say 276 of those 870 burned. Today's drop of those. Afterburns significantly reduce the supply of those afterburns. [00:13:11] I'm also giving that collector, some new pieces to get into that others don't have so more unique pieces and I think this is a pretty cool drop. In general nifty does the you're right. They do a great job with this part of it. The like a lot of other platforms, these specialty platforms, I would say it's not just nifty. [00:13:29] They don't do much to really encourage the secondary market. It's okay. When you've got an artist. Like X copy. And there's other artists too that have big fan bases and don't run into the same issue, but there's a lot of artists that don't have that. And they may make some incredible art, but there's just no secondary market there. [00:13:47] And it's not necessarily just the artist's fault. I think these platforms can do more to encourage the secondary market and make it better for collectors and artists alike. [00:13:56] Yeah, I'd say where I've been burned most frequently on nifty. Cause I bought probably a lot more than you have on this particular platform is first time artists that have had success in another industry sphere or sector and are coming over for the first time because there's a ready-made audience ready to go. [00:14:16] doing the hard work of saying let's build community, let's build my, my persona in the crypto community. And with, without that I think that's a big lesson. All right. Quick update. There's five minutes left in this mint and Andrew, you're going to be like, shockingly, do you know what it is at [00:14:34] I am not looking at it [00:14:35] five thousand one hundred and forty five thousand one hundred and four. [00:14:39] We're halfway through. I know it will slow it down. We'll see what [00:14:43] It's been slow it's rate of its rate of increases is definitely slowed, but so that's, we just watched 15 million psych role and I'll say the site didn't even hiccup, right? Not so much [00:14:54] So I was, I did run into problems. I ran into problems initially when I went on to just check the auctions, but they. They did a quick refresh. They pause the site for about five minutes and they actually added some time to the initial options I noticed without running into huge delays or needing to send out notifications that just did it and took care of the issues. [00:15:16] And then the site worked perfectly after that. It was. [00:15:18] Yeah congrats to progress. The next cabin is quite a pay day. [00:15:22] So I'm just curious are when they do open additions here, or is it limited to one per wallet or people minting multiple per wallet here? Do You know that this George, it looks [00:15:34] You can keep buying them. [00:15:36] Oh, no, shoot. No. I may have just accidentally purchased another. I think I may have accidentally bought another one. I was, I'm very used to having to be able to click things and then have a lot have the confirmation come up from your [00:15:52] Oh, my God. Did you just buy another one? [00:15:56] So it looks like I bought two of these. Okay. All I am not editing this. [00:16:00] Be careful what you click. this is a live lesson and here we are. I'm all right with that. Like I said, I think it is a good long-term whole, luckily I You have the ease that I'm okay with that purchase accidentally. I am used to a my, my wallet where you can click things on the browser as many times as you want. [00:16:20] And the browser doesn't matter because you'd need to confirm it in your wallet. And that's not the case where you're on nifty. Like I said before, it is a very smooth baby, too smooth of a process for some of us. I love it so much. Good. Probably a good. So if you're listening to this, there may be somebody trying to sell one of extra X copies on the market. Congratulations. You were probably the 5811th person to buy one. [00:16:48] Like I said, I think there is a good chance. There'll be a burn mechanism to this at some point. So. [00:16:54] may not be so bad to have a couple. That's what I'm going to go with. Anyway. Tell him myself, it's a good move for the future. [00:17:00] I feel we've gave we gave a good summary of what a alive mint is. And we'll do this later. Those of you listening at home, Andrew is rubbing his face and a little bit of this belief and he has turned a brighter shade of red than I normally see him. He has a little flush. [00:17:18] As one might be let's talk about some headlines that we were going to share now that the [00:17:23] sure. Let's get [00:17:24] excitement is over. [00:17:26] headlines here, man. It has been, ah, there's been a lot going on and it's hard to keep track of everything. You've got. Let's start off with what you've got here on the top here, George. [00:17:37] Sure. At the start I like following what dapper labs and NFL and the whole ecosystem is doing. And the recent news coming out of the block, crypto.com is NFL Lucy's rules, loosens rules around crypto. Company sponsorships. This is the sort of can they buy a stadium? Can they support a team? [00:17:57] And it's just going to increase the amount of crossover advertising. Obviously the super bowl was very crypto Laden, but this is opening up. I think the team level, if I'm reading this correctly, the team level types of promotion and relations Yeah, I saw this. And I noticed that they said that it can't be used for merchandise or experience or for exchanging for that sort of thing yet. So it is just advertising, so they can't have direct Direct correlation with these assets yet. So I think they're trying to keep them away from things like NFTs for tickets, but I think it is a a start and hopefully we start to see even more there. One more nuance in here actually also is that the NFL allegedly, I don't know how they track this. According to some reports spent 600,000 lobbying the sec and various government either. Agencies on blockchain technology. So it's interesting to see like the lobbying efforts to move and adopt crypto coming from a lot of different sectors. [00:18:53] Yeah, that is interesting. Very, yeah, it's a lot in that NFL tends to do pretty well and getting their way. [00:18:59] All right. You want to drop the big news? [00:19:02] Sure. Yeah, we've got big news from UGA labs. The creator of board apes got all sorts of big news from them. Let's see, they've raised $450 million. In a, I guess it's actually the seed round. So the study record for the largest ever first seed round, it was their first funding. First outside funding they take, they had taken this. [00:19:22] Is that a $4 billion valuation? This is big. They took this. Was Andreessen Horowitz leading the round here. I think they were they were the biggest investor by a pretty good margin. I don't know exactly what all sports in there. I did a hear of a lot of NFT influencers and a D traders that were also involved in this round. [00:19:45] They made a point to make sure that anybody that was investing had to own a board ape in order to even be eligible to participate in this round. There it's, this is big it's huge money. They also own the crypto punks IP as we've discussed. So they have a good chunk of the market now. [00:20:08] Yeah, valued at 4 billion. After that investment, it is pretty massive. And and have having here they're they also have a drop for a teaser the other side. What's that about? [00:20:20] Yeah. So this leaked on Friday night around, I think. PM Pacific time. So not a time that you would think that they would be putting out a video. It seemed like it leaked out. And maybe it was a little bit earlier that than that. And then they put it out officially after that got the official version out there. [00:20:38] So it was this. Video of rendering 3d rendering of the apes, but then they've, they are joined by let's see crypto punk driving this spaceship eager, say crypto cam. I'm sorry. A cool cat in there. A crypto's a let's see, I think there's a doodle in there. [00:20:56] I'd see it nouns in there. I [00:20:57] nouns. Yeah. There's so the, yeah, so they put a handful of projects in there that cause a lot of speculation, they, this was done to net version of the other side by the doors called the day. [00:21:10] They said, see you on the other side and it could be it's coming. April. So not a ton of details, but later on, there was a, another leak. So I don't know what's going on at UGA labs or if these are intentional weeks, you'd think they would find a way, a better way to get these out there or something. [00:21:26] But there was another leak that had some of their slide deck alluding to, or not alluding saying that they want to build a metaverse. So I think. [00:21:33] we are seeing a Hugo lab metaverse on the way, and they are bringing other projects with them. Big. They want to play with other projects, not just their own sounds like they will integrate with with the projects they mentioned in there. [00:21:47] I would think as well as project. So with the bigger projects that maybe don't have IP restrictions. [00:21:55] Yeah, it's interesting. And of course a coin was announced as well. I think we're going to dedicate a whole episode to like understanding the power that you've allowed is now going to be building with eight coin. It initially dropped I think it was like March 18th, 17th, 18th, and it immediately shot from $8 to 16. [00:22:15] And now seems to be hovering at $13, but more shockingly is the market cap. And if I'm reading this number right, is 2.2 billion. And it's like the 60th coin on the overall list. So that's pretty impressive. My thought was that it was just going to pump and drop off a cliff so far that does not seem to be the case. [00:22:37] And our first sort of week of it. But we'll say I have I have not gone near it. [00:22:42] No, I haven't either, but yeah, I think you're right. We need to talk a lot more about this. There's a lot going on here and it's certainly had effects on a lot or just every part of the NFTA ecosystem at this point. [00:22:55] Yeah. You mentioned the X copy coming under fire for the one eighth. We included that link in the show notes, and I think that's an important note and also the final tally, cause it just closed 7,394. That means $22 million [00:23:13] Wow. I did not think that I would be off by that much by being under with my guests of 5,000. [00:23:20] the numbers [00:23:22] I did. Yeah, you could see, I was really just trying to help myself when [00:23:27] should have been 7,393, but now the inside scoop [00:23:32] the momentum was really shifted by my second purchase. There. [00:23:36] the big, extra move by rent. Hilarious. Alrighty. I think we can park it there unless you got anything else for us. [00:23:43] No, I think I'm good. I think we we've got more to talk about soon, but I think that's good for today. [00:23:48] All right. I'm going to go and keep refreshing my profile until my NFT shows up. This is always the, like the part that like, I'm like, oh, when does it show up? When does it show up? Am I sure it's going to show up? Cause I didn't see it on the blockchain because it happens. It's a pre-process, that's how they do. [00:23:59] And so smooth and gasoline, it's preprocessed and it doesn't show up right away. Now you're like, I'm pretty sure I did it. I got a confirmation. Right. Out [00:24:11] All right.
Council Member Mitch Nowakowski, Legislator Howard Johnson, and State Senator Sean Ryan join the show to discuss NFTA wages and route cuts.

They've got 6,000 people in the discord, almost 50,000 followers on Twitter. And this isn't a new project. I mean, this minted back in August and this community is just getting stronger and stronger.Absolutely. So funny story, right. We first found out about this community when we shot an episode and then the comments, you know, they started, you know, talking to the cops. We tweeted something out when Zynga, I don't know if you remember that Chris and the crazy. So when Zynga is now, so, you know, thank you guys for tuning in.It's going to be a great episode. Yeah. I want to see some roars out there and we can play our trailer and get started with this interview again, mass, I mean this minted at 0.05, we've got a floor price of over one it's sold out in its first day.And again, this was back in. You know, so a different time than what we're seeing now. There come the roars here. Uh, yeah,go. And let's get those roars go. And guys it's Monday night here in the U S but I know everyone is joining us from different countries, different time zones. That's something we're going to get into in the interview later. I mean, they, they've got a nice base of users from different areas and I love that they break that down.Um, but yeah, I think we've got enough roars now, mass, what do you think that's run it. Let's hear it. Let's see the trailer. How about that at the end? Love it. I love it, man. I'm excited. Let's do it. All right. So joining us on the roadmap today, we have Asher the co-founder of lazy lions and nine. The developer got to go ahead, bring these guys on the stream. What's going on here. We've been doing that lately, where we do these trailers. We love putting those trailers out, you know, on Twitter, getting some engagement built up, but it's a great way to bring on our guests, right? It's almost like entrance music to play you guys onto the stream. So we're glad that you liked it. And we're super excited to have you guys on the stream and also this loyal community in the chat.Right.Super excited for this one. So, uh, yeah, that's definitely going to be exciting. And I just noticed now, as I'm looking at this. I came in a bit more casual with my hoodie and I see you've got the Riyadh Madrid shirt and all that.for this one. All right, guys. Well, let's dive into some questions, uh, before we get into Lacy lions, one of the first questions I always like to start with is. Tell us about your experience with NFTs prior to lazy lions where you collectors, where you investors, or was lazy lions, your first entry into the NFT space.Uh, let's start with nine on this one and, uh, hear from you. Yeah, sure. Um, so T is for us was very interesting actually, because when we first started, we were very into sort of like, okay, Um, so we used to play a lot of games when we were younger, um, in that. And then we start to learn about, you know, crypto. It first started when we got into cryptocurrencies. Uh, we got a little bit about that and it started to move into NFTs. I personally had an actual collected any of NFTs at the time, but it just tied in like the way that I understood it was like, oh yeah, it's on a blockchain, you know, proof of ownership. There was rarely factor involved. And that just took me back to our younger days when we used to play games and it just resonated with us and we spoke about it and we're like, yeah, this is, this is space. And when you were, and then we started to work together and get into the NFV space and start looking.I was building lazy lines from the ground up. Um, that's really how it started. I personally didn't collect any, I know Ash, I think he, I think he bought one, but yeah, he would touch on that more. Yeah. Ashley let's hear from you. Uh, what and FTS were you in before lazy lions? Yeah, for sure. Um, I mean, I just like to answer that question both.Uh, code up different things and then, um, you know, taken to mark. And that was always a lot of fun, um, with crypto, for me, um, I wasn't like a big crypto guy, like even during the off season. Uh, David, is that the lie that really interested me because I saw the value of the metal sets. It still makes a lot of sense, but it didn't hit me as like, oh, this is going to be a really big thing because I couldn't see it being like a cultural impact, but NFTs for me, it was beginning of this year. And as soon as I like started. To me, I'm like, this is not going anyway. Like digital ownership. Like we grew up, you know, playing video games where you've spent all that time and energy and money as well, but you can never take that thing outside of the game. And it's like, now you can actually do that. It's just, so for me, it's a no brainer. This is definitely not going anywhere. Um, one of my favorite entities actually like full AC lines. In our bungalow and a bungalow is an entity that we dropped where you can showcase your other entities. Um, it's actually forgotten ruins character. Um, and this probably ties in with what nine was saying, you know, would be gay. This girl playing greenscape loved that game and that little. Like, he just reminds me so much of my childhood. I tell you, I don't know how much that could go up in value, but I don't think I'm ever going to sell it. So, um, I guess a collector before, before those lines, if you want to do, yeah, it sounds like he's not going to sell it.Well, awesome love here in the video game. Talk as well. That's a common thing that we hear from different people behind NFT projects. Uh, you know, nine, you mentioned a little bit, uh, U2, uh, you know, getting involved together. Wondering if we can hear, or if we can hear more of the background, how did this team come to be and why the decision, you know, to, to launch lazy lions, uh, why a lion, why this type of artwork any a behind the scenes insight there?Yeah, sure. So it was, it first started. I think it was actually my birthday when we first started discussing like, um, cryptocurrencies and. We started getting into it. And we were talking just back talking about different coins that we're interested in. Um, and then later down the track, I believe it was Ashley that came up to me was like, Hey man, have you heard of NFTs?And I was like, yeah, I've heard of them. They pretty much just like JPEGs. Right. And he's like, yeah, but you can actually own, like, you could see these and there's a very flat line and it all started resonating for. And we're like, you know what? This makes sense. This makes sense to us being video game players, back in the days, it all like proof of ownership was a big thing for us being able to actually prove that you own this NFL, um, just made sense.Uh, it just made sense to us and we started just discussing it and we sort of just branched out to the team as well. And they all understood the. And then pretty much from there, we just thought, you know what let's just think of, um, think of the next best thing. And with that with us, we always went back to our heritage. So lions were pretty much a part of our heritage because of where we're from an student. So that just resonated with us and we just yet went full throttle with that. Yeah. I mean, just a few other things as well. Like the whole Kings and Queensland, hopefully my audio is working better now. I'm using AirPods and I realized it was a different setting.Um, like just growing up, but we've always referred to each other as Kings, right. Like even just with mates around. Um, and I feel like that's something that's just hit off for you. What would the community, and, uh, it's probably a small thing. Like they might be people in the audience outside of the lazy lines community.Going to their king or queen, but I think it goes more than that. Like it ties in with that values, which is yes, we're all Kings and Queens, but no one's above anyone else. And I feel like that's something that resonates with a lot of people in web three. Um, so yeah, just a few little things like that. A lot of that.So guys, so the floor is over one eighth, you guys have over 86 K into. And the 49 K on Twitter. So how do you guys personally measure the success of this project? Uh, let's start with you Asher, if you can tell us a little bit more. Yeah. You know, it's, it's interesting. Like there are a few different ways you can, you can look at it.Um, and that, and that we do track, right? Like obviously we've got our own KPIs that, you know, we had really, really smart people who know the ins and outs of, um, the whole economics behind it. Yeah. Tell us what metrics we should be looking. Um, and the community knows that, um, it, it ties in with down mission, which is simply it's to become the, the biggest and best entity community there is.That's, that's our mission. Um, obviously we're a bit biased. We think we've already got one of those. Um, but to be the biggest, it's very black and white, so that's what we're aiming for. Not to put anyone else down. I, I love some of the other projects that are out there, but that's just our mission anyways.Right. Um, so that's one way that we track success. Um, That's small quantitative like qualitative, just speaking with community members, the five, particularly in this dip right now. I feel like for me, um, that's what really just reassures me that we're on the right path. Just, you know, you jump into the discord, you see what's being posted. You have chats with community members. I try to say. Um, spend a fair bit of my time just having those, like one-on-one chats with community members. Um, I feel like that's a really important thing. Like just, um, like really like, Hey, like how are things going? Like, you know, what do you feel is blocking us like real deeper conversation?Um, and that's just been like, it's not obviously like all positive, like they're always things that we can be improving on, but overall it feels like we're on the right track. So that's, that's the way we measure it. Yes. We've got data that having those conversations with community members, um, tells me we were on the right track.Love that. Yeah, same. I like to hop in a discord and you know, you see the activity level. You know, there's been so many discourse throughout this period that are just dead, you know, cause it's, we're kind of in a bearish market, so there's no one, you know, having a conversation, seeing you guys have this activity is amazing.Uh, how about you, uh, nine? What, what, how do you measure the success of the. Yeah. So similar to what, similar to what Ash said. I think for me personally, it's during this fast success of the project, just jumping into the discord and seeing how active it is on a, on a daily basis, being able to hold these, um, conversations with, you know, my team members and, you know, moderators and community members. And they're all, we're all on the same page. We all understand what the, you know, what we're here to do. And just, yeah, just seeing how active for me personally. Yeah, more on the community is just how active it actually is. And seeing the word being spread out, spread out on Twitter, spread out in discord. That really just resonates with me. So I love that. So can you guys tell us a little bit more about bungalows and how they, uh, you know, come into the lazy lion world? Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. Um, and so I guess when we started, right, like we had a few things, um, In mind for the roadmap. Um, and two, we didn't want to be different just for the sake of being different, but at the same time, it's like, it was very obvious to us that if we just, I guess, copied what other projects were doing, like we could find our own way.I think that that was a bit lame. Like that's not what we're about. Um, we're in a new space. I think there's a really good opportunity for us to build something unique and that's fun to us. Right. And it's something that was that we noticed during our research of NFTs, like at the beginning of the year was like, how do you show these things?Yeah, that was the question I had. Um, and I spent a fair bit of time looking into that. I still feel like there's no great solution, um, in real life, if anyone has something like, you know, a great way to like show them off in frames or whatever the ambulance put down, I'd love to know because I want to bring out obviously my line, um, and a few other odd pieces.Yeah, that's in the real world. And, um, you know, in the digital world, you know, how do you show these things off? I've seen a few like, um, social media websites, but nothing great. So just to us, it was like, well, Twitter event is on being used profile photos are what if we could show off entities in the Twitter banner, um, and you know, sticking with our values as well, which is to be inclusive rather than being exclusive, which I think a lot of.Projects really focus on, you know, they're trying to build this exclusive community, um, and that works for them and that's great, but where we're different to that, you know, we're trying to, you know, we're aiming to be inclusive. So, um, sticking with that nature, it's like, you don't just have to show off your lazy lines indices, um, without new bungalows DAP, which is on all these loans. And if the.com you can edit any bungalow, you have to include any NFT that you weren't. Even if it's not lazy lines for later. So, um, yeah, that's, that's how it works. It's a bit of background as to that's awesome. So me and Chris liked to ask this question on a tour guests, every episode, what are some of your favorite traits from the lazy lion?So are there any unique traits that you particularly liked that no one knows about let's start with United. Can you tell us a little bit more, you know, which lions do you like the best or what traits do you like the most. That's a good question. That's that's a great question. Um, which ones are the ones that are being slept on?Let's let you will personally love, you know, uh, honestly I think I used to love the, I like actually like the, really like the lederhosen, um, Um, it is one of the ones that I had originally as my PFE or my line had it. You had the, um, lederhosen shirt out of my eyes and I believe it had the halo just look very innocent. So I was like, yeah, this one, this one resonates with me. Um, but I think that one's a little bit slipped on as well. It's, it's, you know, it is one of the real ones as well, but you don't see too many people will actually actually with it. Sowhat about you Asher? Um, there's a couple other big. Um, a big party, that guy, just because of the whole childhood thing, but, um, basically these, uh, these leads of fire, I think. Um, and I know I'll get in. Um, I'll get a bit of stick if I, Aaron. And he's part of that team as well. He is a community manager. I know he loves the lazy hat.Um, so that one should probably get some recognition as well. I think that one's probably a fan favorite. Yeah. And some call-outs for us steak mouth in the chat as well. It looks like there's some fans of the meat and the steak out there in the chat right now that guy's going to get about 50 steak bouts. So that's why, that's why, that's why. So there's a little bit of a bias going on. Oh man. Well, Sorry. There's a little bit of a little trait combo that I like as well.So if you have like a, if there's a scratch body and they have a ripped shirt, you can see the scratches underneath the shirt, which is what just comes out really nice. So it's a little thing that I sort of go for as well. I like that. Nice, nice call out there. What about you guys? You know, I see in them, I like the steak right there, you know, and again, I know there's someone in the chat, you know, bias towards that, but I like the steak.I like the party hat. I know there was the halo, um, you know, some of the different, uh, the headpiece traits. Um, I like, but I also have seen some real clean ones. Uh, you know, that are impressive. Uh, what about UMass, um, football Jersey, you know, big football guy. And then I do like, so I do like anything Miriam based from any collection.I'm always trying to find like, is there an Ethereum chain or anything like that? I saw you guys having a theorem business shirt. I like that one as well. So yeah, exactly that one right there. So always those little subtle pieces. I think that's cool. Definitely. All right. Well, you guys also have roar words for your owners to reward the community members. Can you tell us a little bit about this? Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. Um, this is probably what been one of the biggest, um, I guess catalysts of the project, particularly at the beginning, uh, at the early stage of, sorry. To put it simply, uh, rewards is what it sounds like it's a rewards program exclusively for lazy lion holders. So this is one of the advantages, or I guess, utility of being a lazy lion NFT holder. Um, every month you're eligible for rewards in the form of eight by completing activities that, uh, That benefit the project. So, you know, community engaging activities and part of those, you know, they change from month to month, but one of those might be, you know, sending your profile photo on Twitter, to your lazy lion and they, um, and you know, I feel the little things like that. And that might be why you see, you know, quite a few, um, you know, about how those changing their profile photo, um, to the lines, particularly the, the early stages, but what we found now, it's really interesting. Right. Um, And I should probably explain why we did this, but what we've seen is like, it was a good reason. It was a reason why a lot of, um, people I guess, came to the project. Um, but what's happened now is like, it's become so insignificant where they just, they love their lines so much. They don't really care about rewards anymore. Like, that's a lot of the feedback that we get is like, yeah, that was really nice at the beginning, but it's like now I love my profile photo so much.I'm not gonna change it. Even if you would've paid me to. So it's like, it's sort of changed, um, how they, how they view it. Um, but I think it's important to like, to explain why we did this. Um, it's sort of like a marketing expense, I guess if we, if we look at it that way, like from the project's point of view, like I know a lot of other collections and then this isn't me bashing anyone else.Go down the route, which is the easy route of, you know, paying like an influence it's changed their profile better and, you know, paying a big amount, a large amount of Psalm, one influence, a change, that profile photo. Great. We saw that as a bit cringe and we're like, is there another way to do this? Um, but obviously we still need to do marketing.Like obviously the project needs to be marketed and it was like, what if instead of just giving it to one celebrity or influencer. What if we just give that to the community and instead of just one big amount to one person, we just spread it out to the community. I'm like, well, that ties in with the whole, you know, web three N model. So that's how we went. And we just created a system that allows us to do that. Essentially the community gets rewarded for, um, marketing the, the project. And I feel like that's worked one just for us and. Yeah. I mean, that's my, that's my opinion, but I think, you know, if you jump on Twitter and you just look at all the activity from lazy lion holdings, it feels like it's sort of evolved beyond that as well. This is awesome, dude, this is some alpha for anybody looking to start a project. Seriously, notice that there's your marketing right there. And if you're looking to create an NFT project, yeah. I mean, what a great way, uh, love that. And, you know, look at the numbers you guys have too in building the community and the community.I mean, being so loyal months after the launch. So clearly that rewards is worth. Um, I saw a picture on Twitter that you guys had a meetup in New York city, some lions holders. Um, were you guys involved in that? Have you met any, uh, lions holders and, uh, you know, talk to us about future events for lion? Hey, the Kings and I wish we were there. So where, um, we're still in lock down here and study CD. Um, so I think we just now started to get out of lockdown, but as soon as we can fly out, like desperately, we'll be meeting up with laser line holders, but no, that was community led. Um, a lot of, a lot of really good feedback actually from that one.Um, everybody seemed to really enjoy themselves. Um, but yeah, that was a little community, but we'll definitely look at doing more of those. Um, as soon as we're able to fly out. That's awesome. I mean, showing the initiative by the community there, I mean, that's something we don't see out of every project, uh, doing these, you know, these meetups. So a, another great sign of how big this community really is. Um, I did see, you know, that there are quite a few celebrities that also own lazy lions. Um, that's something we talk about a lot on the show. A lot of athletes does Bryant, Josh Hart, Seth Curry, uh, Tyrese Haliber and also we've got Jake Paul John rule.Uh, talk to us a little bit, you know, I know you guys didn't go after all these celebrities, what does it mean to see some of them get involved in the project in terms of validation going forward? Man, it's really cool. Uh, it's really cool, but. Uh, just in general, just with the community, like what I know it's sort of gone away from the question, but just what we love, 4,600 holders, like jumping into the, or like sometimes find him, must find myself just going like, well, is this sort of like a dream?Like you sorta just have to step back. You're like, am I just going to wake up? And that damn like, went back in August, this never happened. Or just, you know, continuing on with whatever else we're doing. Um, so it's sort of surreal like that just with the community, which is a really cool thing. But, um, no, I mean like the celebrities in the.Uh, the athletes, um, yeah, that's been organic or organic. Sorry. I'm like nothing from us anyways. Like the, the teams specifically bringing in those ones. Um, but yeah, I think it's really cool. Like it just goes to back, I guess they believe in either the project and the community or, you know, it's probably because they resonate with the art as well.Um, like from a few of the things that I've seen. Um, which I guess makes sense. You know, everyone feels like a, you know, a lot of people feel like they're aligned, particularly athletes. Uh, um, yeah, it's it. Awesome. I got a highlight Tyrese Halliburton for a minute. Cause we talked about him last week on the show because the big news was that he, uh, wore a pair of sneakers during an NBA game, featuring his board ape on his shoe.So my question for you is, you know, has there been any talks of Tyrese Haliber and having his lion on his shoe? Is that something you guys would love to see? And what has the reaction been from the community of that possible? I think that's so cool. Like now that we're seeing it, he's going into a culture like that.Yeah. That's um, that's awesome. Um, I got a lot of respect for board apes as well. I mean, they've sort of paved the way for a lot of projects out outta here right now. I think it'd be really cool if you wanted to do something like that. And with the lazy. I mean, I don't know. How's the community feel about that when you recognize that guys in the chat, let us know.I mean, I'm seeing a comment here when lion shoe, uh, you know, is that something you guys would love to see an NBA game with lazy lion sneakers being worn? Uh, you know, I know we got a ton of press about the board ape shoes last week, and it was really cool to just see an NFT, you know, on a shoe in real life. The screen, um, you know, and Burton's changed his shoes, uh, you know, pretty much every game. So I have a feeling, you know, that he's not done and there's his lazy lie in there on screen. So, uh, can we get that on a shoe? I think that'd be pretty sweet. Yeah, that's awesome. You called it Chris. Let's see. Let's make it happen.Let's make it happen. The crowd would be roaring. David says great comment. There. All right, guys. So back to the discord really quick. So again, you guys have over 80 K discord members, you know, I'm sure we've all been crazy. Discords where they're spamming and just out of control. So what do you guys do to manage the discord?Yeah, we've got a great team, great team. And that's, um, you know, not just, uh, uh, just the community managers that we have in there, but even the moderators as well. And I think anyone in the community with. Um, you know, a lot of people I could shout out individually, but yeah, the modes, the community managers, um, support team, and even just like the w we've got like different roles.Like we have one called like a role, uh, Royal king, sorry. And these are like community members that are sorta like self appointed by the community itself. It's funny. It's like, we don't even choose. It's like, it's very obvious it should be this role. And they're the ones that are sort of. The community outside of the actual moderators. And I feel like the community itself just does a great job of like, self-governing like if somebody comes in and sends somebody that something that they shouldn't it's very quickly resolved by itself, which is just a beautiful thing. Um, so it's like, even though we have, you know, the more and more we scale up and grow, um, it hasn't been too much of the.Um, but yeah, that's, that's how it sort of does it, so it doesn't get, like, it gets crazy at times, for sure. Especially on like, you know, Lauren's days and like rewards, especially. And we've got that one coming up this Friday, um, when the, uh, Downey's is sent out, you know, it gets pretty dense pretty well of that day because it's a bit of fun, but, uh, now it's all governed quite well.I think. Um, that's awesome. How active are you guys? Both in the discord. And do you have any like favorite channels in there? I'm probably a bit too active in the, um, in the disc, like considering like, um, also, um, like leading up like the product team and obviously like, uh, just trying to keep my eyes on everything else in, uh, in the project.Um, but man, it's just so addicting being in the discordant. Like what do you, I guess it's just like, it's hard not to be what up in the, in the moment. And then you're sitting there for like half an hour, just chatting back and forth with everybody in the. And the community. I think we get FOMO too. You want to scroll back and see what you've missed. Finally, you said the scrolling through your phone for a little bit to try to catch up with everybody and what they're saying, but in terms of favorite channel, I would have to say it's probably, um, it's probably, it's probably cabana bar. That's our, that's our main channel for lazy line holders. Um, so it's sort of, you know, it's only available to them.Um, but when that channel starts to pick up, it's really fast to pick up on. There's a lot of great discussions that, um, Uh, so yeah, you learn a lot and it's, it's great. Speaking of the community, uh, specifically lazy line holders and then, yeah, that would be probably my favorite channel. I'd say there's lots of London.Yeah, love that. So we've seen a lot of discord hacks over the last couple of weeks. You know, this court, Twitter hacks, you know, different kinds of schemes going on there. Are you guys taking any precautions towards, you know, protecting the discord? Uh, let's start with you. Yeah. Sure. So recently we've done like a, an audit of our bots just to ensure that there is no, no left over bots that are lurking, that we sort of don't need.Um, majority of our web hooks. I know they can be a little bit risky, um, in regards to, yeah. So I know that one of the discourse I apparently got, you know, got it. They got into it because of a web hook. So we started to, you know, just review the web books, make sure they're all clean. Make sure there's nothing we don't know about.Um, we've started to leave sticky bots, uh, sort of sticky notes in each of our. I know that sometimes you can get DMS from fake collab land when you try to verify your NFTs. So we have sticky notes that, um, you know, just say, make sure, like, just confirm correct collab, land, which other scans, it leads the country, uh, of that channel. So nobody can see like, so no collab then can sort of see who's typing, you know, exclamation mark join to verify that. And if they, so just little things here and there to really just clean up the discord, make sure there's nothing that's sort of. Leftover to ensure the safety of the community members. That's, that's what we've been doing. And we'll continue to automate it just to make sure that nothing happens. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Pretty much that. And um, I mean, cause our discord is like so important to us as well, right? Like it's such like it's front and center of our. Um, like the project strategy, right? It's like, that's what we're really trying to grow and build a community. Cause like we've always said that like the project is the community, the community is the project. And like we're making a, we're making our bed on the discord platform. Um, that's not to say it's perfect. Like I feel like there's, you know, there's a few things that I, you know, I'd love to suggest to the disco, um, team members and just, you know, things that I think would benefit the platform.Um, Overall, particularly as like entity and crypto is becoming more and more of a thing that's using discord. Um, cause like we've let so many important, um, positives, like we've got like a professional networking section. Um, cause it's funny. It, it goes, it's sort of gone away from the question, but it sort of ties into like what's the value in an inequity?Um, like that's a question that I've, you know, I had asked, uh, a few times basically for people that aren't in crypto, like why would you get an NFTA? Like what do you actually get out of it? Yeah. Uh, like one of the most obvious things is the community. And some people just look at that and go, oh, like, what is that? It's like, well, like, you know, it's just because they're cartoon characters. I think the stigma is like, people think it's it's little children or like fat kids in their mother's basements that are buying these entities. Right. And it's like, that's not the, that's definitely not the case. Right. Like, Like we're speaking with, you know, with like C level executives with doctors, with lawyers, like whatever their industry they're in, you know, our reporters, like people at the top of their industry, right. Are like really smart, intelligent people. So it's like, um, how much does it cost to get into like a professional networking? Um, uh, you know, like, oh, like, you know, how will, what's the cost of that to be a part of that? Create those kinds of connections. Right. And that's something we've doubled down on. So we have like a whole professional networking section and in the discord, um, like we have gaming sections, um, marketplace, um, like all these other things. So it's really critical to us. And security is really important as well. Um, those hacks are pretty scary, so it's just things that were, yeah. Like , those are some of the things that we're doing to make sure that, that Allstate. Uh, secure love that. So you actually just led me on to the next question I had for you guys.I'm going to have a list of pull up this chart here. So someone posted this in the tweet and the tweet last night, and it's interesting because it breaks down all the demographics, right? So there's, you know, 4.6 owners. Yeah. So this is really interesting, right? Gender, you know, 92% male, 8% female, top three age groups, 26 to 35 leads.Uh, 36 to 45 is second. See, I wouldn't have guessed that 19 to 20 five-year-olds is third. Uh, this one to 53% are married. 44% are single 60%, no kids, 33%, one to two kids. Can you guys tell us a little bit more about all these stats, man? This is really cool. Yeah, it's really interesting. I think some of those numbers would love for them to be a little bit different, um, particularly cause we have.I think if you compare that to the average would probably be a bit better. It's basically in terms of, you know, having more or, um, more females in the, in the project being inclusive is obviously one of our core values rather than being exclusive. But this was just part of a survey that we, we did a while back.Um, Uh, yeah. And it's interesting, like target market is, you know, 25 to 45 year old males, obviously high disposable income as well. Um, but, um, yeah, it's definitely interesting. We thought other brands would be, you know, we'd love to see that kind of information, particularly now as we've got the collectibles, um, you know, probably sneak, peeking a bit too much of that.Um, but just to look at about that, but that's something that we've got coming out. Um, Quite soon. Uh, and that, I think it's an opportunity for, you know, we've had so many requests to do like collabs, um, you know, so many projects that have hit us up and we're like, Hey, can we do something? And we just haven't done anything with them strictly because we just haven't wanted to pay like any influences. That's not been our strategy on the really cringe. Um, it just goes against that values. So this is an opportunity for us to actually partner up with brands in a meaningful way. So that's why we shared that. That data. Um, and I think it's quite valuable daughter to Danielson and entities, but yeah, that's, that was the reasoning behind it.Awesome. So one of the things we've talked a lot about on the roadmap, obviously NFTs have seen huge interest this year. And we also have news that Coinbase a leading crypto platform is launching their own NFT marketplace. So they actually pulled their audience asking for favorite NFT communities. And of course the lions community.Came through and roared and Coinbase actually retweeted. And they said roar louder for the people in the back. Please. Uh, tell us what this means. Uh, you know, have you been in talks with Coinbase at all or is this just validation that Coinbase sees the large community here? Um, that's one of those things where I probably shouldn't say too much, maybe just because I can't say too much, but I think that might be enough there just to say that you can't comment. So maybe we got it. We got it out of here anyway. But I think it's really cool. All right. I think it's really cool and it's really exciting time. So we'll see what, um, you know, we'll see what happens with the platform and then we've all got a lot of hopes. Um, but at the same time, you know, like we've got to be a little bit skeptical.Like there's a bit of pressure on them to make sure everything comes out. Well, it's not a guarantee or anything. Like we saw what happened with like Google plus, right. Um, just because you're the biggest doesn't mean it's going to be a guarantee, but, um, I think the fact that they moving into NFT.Entities and they're focusing on it is extremely bullish, right? Um, so I've got, I've got high hopes and they got my support. Love it, Google plus. Wow. Take taken me back there. I definitely, I definitely had a Google plus account where I would share links to articles that I wrote to try to get increased page views, but yeah, goo Google plus a diet and unfortunate death there. But yeah, that's a phrase I haven't heard in a while. Um, I think we have AR in the chat and I believe there was a mention of a tattoo. We do have a picture and a video of this tattoo. Uh, again, we, we talked to a lot of NFTE teams, right? And w we occasionally see strong engagement and we do not see too many tattoos. So tell us a little bit about, you know, uh, why this tattoo came to be, um, looks like AR you know, called out for the floor price and then got the tattoo. Is this something you guys do about at a time and how did the community. Uh, man, I think everybody loves it. Like look at how clean that thing. Like man, whoever the tattoo was like, yeah, he's got some really good work, but um, no that was all right. That was something he called out back when we first, when we first launched it, I remember seeing that and it was like, why did he say it's like, when were you reached to a, I'm gonna get my live. And I remember looking at that and like, obviously, like I'm extremely bullish on what I've got completely.Like from the early days, I was like, sure, like, you know, we can do, we can achieve whatever we set our minds to. Right. And I still believe that. Um, so I was like this, guy's going to have to get a tattoo of his life. That is a sweet looking tattoo. Uh, I mean, loved watching that video. So clean, so shout out to the artists too.Um, but yeah, I mean, seeing someone get a tattoo, I mean, that's great validation for, for the longevity of this project and the community. So, uh, an AR in the chat, I mean, a nice looking tattoo and thanks for joining us for the stream today. Uh, along with the tattoo talk and validation, another area where we've seen NFT projects, you know, connect with their community. As we just had Halloween and I saw some lazy lions, Halloween costumes. Um, you know, is that something that you guys, uh, you know, called for, did a contest at all? Or is this just people happen in because they wanted to dress as their lion. Yeah, this was just, this was purely community-based. Um, when I actually saw that image and retweeted it on the main Twitter account, that was absolutely awesome that people were getting so involved.I really liked it. I'd love that lazy hat as well. It looks so clean. I want it personally, but it was, yeah, that was just completely community driven in hold a competition. They just went out of their way and yeah, it's just beautiful to see. That's awesome. Uh, yeah, I mean, what a cool Halloween costume. That is a sweet looking hat too. Um, but keep that in mind, any lions in the chat, if you're looking for a Halloween costume next year, I know it's a year away, but start planning to work on your lion costume now. Um, so you can be ready. Uh, you mentioned a little bit about collectibles, right? So we got a little bit of a teaser. One of the things we are called the roadmap after all is we always try to hear about, you know, what's next. So I know you guys can't share too much, but can we get a little bit more information on collectibles and maybe what's ahead for lion holders. Nine, if you don't have a problem. I mean, why not? Like I've got a lot of respect for this show, so it looks sneaky. All right. So essentially this ties in with our values and our mission as well. Right. Which is obviously like our value is one of our values is, you know, rather than being an exclusive community, which you don't know a lot of. Uh, you know, focusing on being, which is fine and like that works really well. And I've got a lot of respect for a lot of other projects. I would never bash another one, but I'm like ours is to be inclusive rather than exclusive. So, um, we're trying to build obviously the biggest and it's the community, that's our mission. And part of that is bringing new people that aren't necessarily in NSCS right now.And I feel like we sort of shoulder that responsibility as we've become. Um, you know, just from what other people have told me, it seems like we were kind of one of the leading projects now, at least like in the top, you know, I think like on open seat, like top 40 or all the time traded those types of things. So I feel like we have a responsibility to actually, um, you know, to try and lead the space and, and bring in new people into the community rather than just, you know, those existing members. We already have enough teas. And I think the challenge is. Because it's still so early, like the interfaces and everything, it's not super easy to get into it.Like know just the act of having to create a wallet and minting and gas. It's sort of like, you know, I said, it's like, if you're telling a friend or family member of someone that you know, coworker about entities and they're not in it already, it's like, Hey, we've got a lazy lion. This community is amazing.Oh, cool. How much is it? And he's like one eighth and I look up one eight. They're like what? That's not how I'm going to get started. Right. So it's like, okay, how can we say. I have those, um, people still become a part of the community without having to fork out that much straightaway. And that's where this sort of referral program collectible thing came to mind.So essentially what it is is every community member or every new person that you invite to the community, all they have to do is join discord and they will get a pack of tokens for free that they can claim on our website. Um, and this pack will be a random, you know, it'll be a set of cards. Um, you know, like we had to have a lane, next one will be, um, uh, like, uh, Thanksgiving.Right. Which is what we've got planned. So that's probably a sneak peek there more than I should. Um, so there'll be, you know, a set of eight, eight, uh, Thanksgiving cards. Um, and every pack that you open, you'll get two random ones. And the idea is complete the set and you enter to win a lazy lions. Um, so this way, anyone who's not in the community already can just join up, join the disco and get a pack. And if they want to get more packs, they just invite more people. And we cover the gas company. These tokens appear on open. See they can list them free without having to pay any gas that's all covered. So someone could come in, not pay a single cent, get one of the rare tokens, list them, and then, you know, make a profit or try and complete the sentence, win a prize.Um, and I think it just ties in, like we said, without values gives them an opportunity to experience what mentoring is. Um, and then, you know, bringing in the ecosystem and understand the true benefits of web three. So. A bit of a lengthy explanation, but yeah, that's, that's what the collectibles ideas. And what does that mean?We appreciate the background there. Yeah, when's the launch. Yep. So right now that is in, um, if we've got like a soft Bader internally, um, that's scheduled for launch, uh, next with next week. So we've got rewards this week. Oh, wow. Is that a big thing? And then we've got this coming out next week. That's awesome. That's awesome. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So yeah, pretty excited. You'll definitely see. Um, I think this will, yeah, we'll see how it goes, but I can see it having a pretty positive effect. I think so. Yeah. I, we we've seen some of these card ones do well too, and that's a great way. Like you said, to bring new people into the community and also the referral program, uh, you know, I'm a big fan of that.So. You know, uh, we wish you luck with that. And thanks for breaking that news here on the roadmap, it's always exciting to, you know, hear what's next from these projects. And, you know, I think that a community out there is loving this. Absolutely. I mean, that's amazing bringing new people in is the biggest part of the game. That's that's really awesome. Uh, let's take it to, we have some questions from the chat here. Um, the first question that I saw earlier in the interview today, we had a question from Brendan bald. Uh, he's asking, do you guys have any plans or hopes to develop the IP into film or TV or even comic books? So the cool thing is I've already seen a few projects do it. Um, and I think they're just, you know, they hold the, uh, lazy lines and if feed themselves, once you hold it, you're able to go and create these things yourself, um, are stressing. Like we're open to it, but there's no immediate plans for it, but I've seen a few cool things going around on Twitter.Yeah. I love that. Um, let's see. Do we have any more questions from the chat here, Chris, that we want to think we got most of the questions answered. Well, you know, the, uh, people loved hearing the Coinbase conversation again, and people loving this roadmap talk. Um, we're seeing merge now asked from Morgan.Um, you guys, I think you, do you have some merch already or ends for Merck in the works? Uh, we've got much in the works. So, um, you know, I've seen, what's been being worked on, um, I think the community's going to love what we, what we release with this. Um, so yeah, not, not quite yet, but that's in the works. It's coming out soon. And then mass. How about that? A question there from a breezy in the chat, uh, that, that could be a fun one. Oh, yeah. So when Arizona ice tea collab, can you guys tell us more about that? Is that a rumor or, you know, is this question coming out of nowhere? Um, yeah, I mean, there's nothing like official going on.Um, what's nice. Is it sort of ties back into the collective. Um, to is now like, again, if there are any brands listening as well, I feel like there's definitely an opportunity for the brands who are wanting to get into entities, particularly with like more established projects. Um, at least for us, this is an opportunity for us to actually partner up with brands in a way that's actually beneficial for everyone involved. So, um, you know, if we were doing those, you know, biweekly, um, releases of collectible cards and one of them. The Arizona theme, just for the sake of argument. Um, but yeah, not nothing official, but we're definitely open. Perfect. Yeah, I did see Arizona as one of the owners mentioned in the, uh, celebrity spotlight, um, on that cool graphic and the facts that we shared. So I think that's where maybe that rumor comes from. Um, but we'll wait. We'll wait to hear more details from you guys in the future. Well, I think that's going to do it for today's interview, you know, nine Asher big. Thank you for both of you coming on our show. I know it's early morning where you guys are at, um, your flexibility with doing that. Also shout out to the latest science community. I mean, mass, look at them. They're in full force here in the chat during this whole interview. So a shout out to lazy. Absolutely. I mean, this has honestly been one of the biggest communities I've seen and I'm personally measured by the Twitter. You know, I see on my Twitter, the profile picture, I mean, I see a lie and I would say one out of every 10, if that, I mean, you guys are killing it.I can't wait to have you guys come on again and just, you know, do some updates in the. Yeah, man, this is a lot of fun. Um, I have like, everyone's been waiting for it for a while. So this is tape spot. It went by a lot quicker than I thought it would. Alice. That's how you know, but, uh, yeah, not, King's definitely out to doing this.Yeah, well, we will, we will have to have you guys back on. Um, so thanks again, nine and Asher, uh, before I let everyone go here, uh, mass, we do not have a show tomorrow. Um, I know I said we're going Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 2:00 PM. Eastern time. Benzinga is hosting. PAC awards. And actually there's going to be some awards given in crypto, in NFT categories. So if you're interested in the space, we have FinTech awards, airing live on YouTube, beginning at 9:00 AM, Eastern time and going all day. And also if you're into crypto, we do have our Monday night show. After this show is done with, through there, he will be talking some metaverse crypto plays. Um, so I know I'll be sticking around to hear more from Ruelle on.But yeah. Thanks for everyone for tuning in and yeah. Thank you. I mean, let's chat, they're so appreciative to mass here. I am trying to tell them. Thank you. And they're all thinking. Yeah. Thank you guys. If you guys liked this content, you know, we're, Benzinga, there's there, we're starting to test this out.We want to bring more NFT content, make sure to like subscribe, share this content. I mean, we talk all the time about projects. We talk about community. I mean, this is a big one and they're showing up in the chat. They've got 6,000 people in the discord, almost 50,000 followers on Twitter. And this isn't a new project. I mean, this minted back in August and this community is just getting stronger and stronger. Absolutely. So funny story, right. We first found out about this community when we shot an episode and then the comments, you know, they started, you know, talking to them. We tweeted something out when Zynga, I don't know if you remember that Chris and went crazy. So when Zynga is now, so, you know, thank you guys for tuning in. It's going to be a great episode.Yeah. I mean, the chat spoke, right. And also, I mean, mass, you saw it, right. We put out a couple of tweets sharing the preview of this video. Right. And the engagement on those tweets was insane. And that's how we know that there is going to be a lot of people here. A lot of people excited for this interview when we get that kind of crazy engagement on Twitter. So if you guys are new to the roadmap, please like this video, please subscribe to Benzinga channel. Again. We air the roadmap Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 2:00 PM. Eastern time. Mass before we get into the interview. I think we need everyone in the chat to roar. Right? I want to see some roars out there and we can play our trailer and get started with this interview again, mass, I mean this minted at 0.05, we've got a floor price of over one it's sold out in its first day.And again, this was back in. You know, so a different time than what we're seeing now. So yeah, that's definitely going to be exciting. And I just noticed now, as I'm looking at this. I came in a bit more casual with my hoodie and I see you've got the real Madrid shirt and all that. All right, guys. Well, let's dive into some questions. Uh, before we get into Lacy lions, one of the first questions I always like to start with is. Tell us about your experience with NFTs prior to lazy lions, where you collectors, were you investors or was lazy lions, your first entry into the NFT space? Uh, let's start with nine on this one and, uh, hear from you.Yeah, sure. Um, so NFTs for us was very interesting actually, because when we first started, we were very into sort of like. Um, so we used to play a lot of games when we were younger. Um, and that, and then we start to learn about, you know, crypto it first started when we got into cryptocurrencies. Uh, we know a little bit about that and it started to move into NFTs.I personally had an action collected any NFTs at the time, but it just tied in like the way that I understood it was like, oh yeah, it's on a blockchain, you know, proof of ownership. There was rarely factor involved. And that just took me back to our younger days when we used to play games and it just resonated with us and we spoke about it and we're like, yeah, this is, this is the space. And when you were, and then we started to work together and getting to the NFV space and start looking like building lazy lines from the ground up. Um, that's really how it started. I personally didn't collect any, I know Ash, I think you've, I think you've bought one, but yeah, he touch on that more. Yeah.Ashley let's hear from you and FTS. Were you in before lazy lions? Yeah, for sure. Um, I mean, just.Uh, code up different things and then, um, you know, taken to market. That was always a lot of fun. Um, with crypto, for me, um, I wasn't like a big crypto guy, like even during the. Um, it is that the, the vibe that really interested me, cause I saw the value of the metal offsets. It still makes a lot of sense, but it didn't hit me as like, oh, this is going to be a really big thing.Cause I couldn't see it being like a cultural impact, but NFTs for me, it was beginning of this year. And as soon as I like started that. Um, one of my favorite entities actually like a full lights. In our bungalow and a bungalow is an NFC that we dropped where you can showcase your other entities. Um, it's actually forgotten ruins character.Um, and this probably ties in with what nine was saying. You know, we'd be gay. This girl playing greenscape loved that game and that little guy. Like, he just reminds me so much of my childhood. I tell you, I don't know how much that could go up in value, but I don't think I'm ever going to sell it. So, um, I guess a collector before, before these lines, if you want to.Yeah, it sounds like he's not going to sell it. Well, awesome love here in the video game. It's a lot of getting into it. And we were talking just back talking about different coins that we were interested in. Um, and then later down the track, I believe it was Ashley that came up to me was like, Hey man, have you heard of NFTs?And I was like, yeah, I've heard of them. They pretty much just like JPEGs. Right. And he's like, yeah, but you can actually own, like, you could see those as NFTs and there's a very flexible and it all started resonating. And we're like, you know what? This makes sense. This makes sense to us being video game players, back in the days, it all like proof of ownership was a big thing for us being able to actually prove that you own this NFT just made sense.Uh, just made sense to us and we thought, you know, just discussing it. And we sort of just branched out to the team as well. And they all understood the. And then pretty much from there, we just thought, you know what let's just think of, um, think of the next best thing. And with that with us, we always went back to our heritage. So lions were pretty much a part of our heritage cause we were from an, a student. So that just resonated with us and we just yet went full throttle with that. Yeah. I mean, just a few other things as well. Like the whole Kings and Queensland, hopefully my audio is working better now. I'm using AirPods and I realized it was a different setting.Um, like just growing up, we've always referred to each other as Kings, right. Like even just with mates around. Um, and I feel like that's something that's just hit off for you. What would the community, and it's probably a small thing. Like there might be people in the audience outside of the lazy lions community.Coming to their king or queen, but I think it goes more than that. Like it ties in with that values, which is yes, we're all Kings and Queens, but no one's above anyone else. And I feel like that's something that resonates with a lot of people in web three. Um, so yeah, just a few little things like that.Love that. So guys, so the floor is over one eighth, you guys have over 86 K into this school. And the 49 K on Twitter. So how do you guys personally measure the success of this project? Let's start with you Asher, if you can tell us a little bit more. Um, and the community knows that, um, it, it ties in with that mission, which is pretty simply it's to become the, the biggest and best entity community there is.That's, that's our mission. Like, you know what he feels blocking us, like real deeper conversation.Um, and that's just been like, it's not obviously like all positive, like they're always things that we can be improving on, but overall it feels like we're on the right track. So that's, that's the way we measure it. Yes. We've got data that having those conversations with community members, um, tells me we're on the right track.I love that. Yeah, same. I like to hop in a discord and you know, you see the activity level. You know, there's been so many discourse throughout this period that are just dead, you know? Cause it's, we're kind of an embarrassed market, so there's no one, you know, having conversation, seeing you guys have this activity is amazing.Uh, how about you a nine? What, what, how do you measure the success of the. Yeah. So similar to what, similar to what Ash said. I think for me personally, it's during this fast success of the project, just jumping into the discord and seeing how active it is on a, on a daily basis. Being able to hold these, um, conversations with, you know, my team members and, you know, moderators and community members. And they're all, we're all on the same page. We all understand what the, you know, what we're here to do. And just, yeah, just seeing how active for me personally, because I'm more on the community is just how active it actually is. And seeing the word being spread out, spread out on Twitter, spread out in discord. That really just resonates with me. So I love that. So can you guys tell us a little bit more about bungalows and how they, uh, you know, coming to the lazy lion world? Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. Um, and so I guess when we started, right, like we had a few things, um, In mind for the roadmap. Um, and we didn't want to be different just for the sake of being different, but at the same time, it's, it was very obvious to us that if we just, I guess, copied what other projects were doing, like we could find our own way.I think that that was a bit lane. I still feel like there's no great solution, um, in real life, if anyone has something like, you know, a great way to like show them off in frames or whatever the ambulance go down, I'd love to know. Cause I want to bring out obviously my line, um, and a few other odd faces.Yeah, that's in the real world. And, um, you know, in the digital world, you know, how do you show these things off? I've seen a few like, um, social media websites, but nothing great. So just to us, it was like, well, Twitter ban is not being used. Profile photos are what if we could show off NFTs in the Twitter banner, um, and you know, sticking with our values as well, which is to be inclusive rather than.Being exclusive, which I think a lot of other projects really focused on, you know, they're trying to build this exclusive community, um, and that works for them and that's great, but where we're different to that, you know, we're trying to, you know, we're aiming to be inclusive. So, um, sticking with that nature, it's like, you don't just have to show off your lazy lines and, um, without new bungalows DAP, which is on dot com, you can edit any bungle. It, you have to include any NFT that you weren't. Even if it's not lazy lions related. So, um, yeah, that's, that's how it works. It's a bit of background as to why. That's awesome. So me and Chris liked to ask this question on to our guests, every episode, what are some of your favorite traits from the lazy lion?So were there any unique traits that you particularly liked that no one knows about? Let's start with you nine. Can you tell us a little bit more, you know, which lions do you like the best or what traits do you like the most. That's a good question. That's that's a great question. Um, which ones are the ones that are being slept on?Let's let you personally love, you know, honestly, I think I used to love the, I like actually like the, really like the lederhosen. Um, it is one of the ones that I had originally as my PFE or my line had it. You had the better hosing shirt out of my eyes, and I believe it had the halo just look very innocent. So I was like, yeah, this one, this one resonates with me. Um, but I think that one's a little bit slipped on as well. It's, it's, you know, it is one of the rare ones as well, but you don't see too many people will actually actually with it. Sowhat about you Asher? Um, there's a couple big. Uh, a big party guide just because of the whole childhood thing, but, um, basically these, uh, these sorts of fire, I think, um, and I know I'll get in. Um, I'll get a bit of stick if I, Aaron, and he's proud of that team as well. He is a community manager. I know he loves the lazy hat.Um, so that one should probably get some recognition as well. I think that one's probably a fan favorite. Yeah. That's been some call-outs for us, steak mouth in the chat as well. It looks like there's some fans of the meat and the steak out there in the chat right now that guy's going to get about 50 steak bouts. So that's why, that's why, that's why. So there's a little bit of a bias going on. Oh man. Well, Sorry. There's a little bit of a little trait combo that I like as well. So if you have like a, if there's a scratch body and they have a ripped shirt, you can see the scratches underneath the shirt, which is what just comes out really nice.So it's a little thing that I sort of go for as well. I like the nice, nice call out there. What about you guys? Yeah. You know, I seeing them, I like the steak right there, you know, and again, I, I know there's someone in the chat, you know, bias towards that, but I liked the steak. I liked the party hat. I know there was the halo, um, you know, some of the different, uh, the headpiece traits.Um, I liked, but I also have seen some real clean ones too. Uh, you know, that are impressive. Uh, what about. Um, football Jersey, you know, big football guy. And then I do like, so I do like anything theorem based from any collection. I'm always trying to find like, is there a theme chain or anything like that?I saw you guys having it there in business shirt. I like that one as well. So yeah, exactly. That one right there. So always those little subtle pieces. I think that's cool. Definitely. All right. Well, you guys also have roar words for your owners to reward the community members. Can you tell us a little bit about.Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. Um, this is probably what been one of the biggest, uh, I guess like catalysts of the project, particularly at the beginning, uh, at the early stage of, sorry. To put it simply, uh, rewards is what it sounds like it's a rewards program exclusively for lazy lion holders. So this is one of the advantages, or I guess, utility of being a lion NFT holder.Um, every month you're eligible for rewards in the form of eight by completing activities that, uh, That benefit the project. So, you know, community engaging activities and part of those, you know, they change from month to month, but one of those might be, you know, setting your profile photo or on Twitter to your lazy lion entity.Um, and you know, I feel the little things like that, and that might be why you see, you know, quite a few, um, you know, about how those changing their profile photo, um, to the lines, particularly the, the early stages, but what we found now, it's really interesting, right. Um, And I should probably explain why we did this, but what we've seen is like, it was a good reason. It was a reason why a lot of, um, people I guess, came to the project. Um, but what's happened now is like, it's becomes so insignificant where they just, they love their lines so much. Um, it's sort of like a marketing expense, I guess if we, if we look at it that way, like from the project's point of view, like I know a lot of other collections and then this isn't me bashing anyone else.Go down the route, which is the easy route of, you know, paying like an influencer to change their profile better and, you know, paying a big amount, a large amount of Psalm, one influence, a change, that profile photo. Great. We saw that as a big crunch and we're like, is there another way to do this? Um, but obviously we still need to do marketing.Like obviously the project needs to be marketed. Um, and we're like, what if instead of just giving it to one celebrity or influencer. And I feel like that's worked one just for us. Yeah. I mean, that's my, that's my opinion, but I think, you know, if you jump on Twitter and you just look at all the activity from lazy lion holders, it feels like it's sort of evolved beyond that as well. This is awesome, dude, this is some alpha for anybody looking to start a project. Seriously. I noticed that there's your marketing right there. And if you're looking to create an NFT project, yeah. I mean, what a great way, love that. And, you know, look at the numbers you guys have too in building the community and the community.I mean, being so loyal months after the launch. So clearly that rewards is working. Um, I saw a picture on Twitter. That you guys had a meetup in New York city, some lions holders. Um, were you guys involved in that? Have you met any, uh, lions holders and, uh, you know, talk to us about future events for lion?Hey, the Kings and I wish we were that. So where, um, we're still in lockdown here and study CD. Um, so I think we're just now starting to get out of lockdown, but as soon as we can fly out, like desperately, we'll be meeting up with laser line holders, but no, that was community led. Um, a lot of, a lot of really good feedback actually from that one.Um, everybody seemed to really enjoy themselves. Um, but yeah, that was a little community, but we'll definitely look at doing more of that. Uh, it's really cool, but you. Uh, just in general, just with the community, like what I know it's sort of gone away from the question, but just what we love, 4,600 holders, like jumping into the, or like I sometimes find, must find myself just going like, well, is this sort of like a dream?Like you sorta just have to step back. You're like, well, I'm just going to wake up. And that damn like went back in August. This never happened. Or just, you know, continuing on with whatever else we're doing. Um, so it's sort of surreal like that just with the community, which is a really cool thing. But, um, no, I mean like the celebrities in the.Uh, the athletes, um, yeah, that's been all organic or organic. Sorry. I'm like nothing from us anyways. Like the, the teams specifically bringing in those ones. Um, but yeah, I think it's really cool. Like, it just goes to back, I guess they had belief in either the project and the community or, you know, it's probably because they resonate with the art as well.Um, like from a few of the things that I've seen. Um, which I guess makes sense. You know, everyone feels like, you know, a lot of people feel like they're aligned, particularly athletes. Uh, um, yeah. It's, uh, Awesome. Hey, like now that we're seeing it as he's going into a culture like that.Yeah. That's um, no, that's awesome. Um, I got a lot of respect for board apps as well. I mean, they sort of paved the way for a lot of projects out outta here right now. I think it'd be really cool if you wanted to do something like that. And with the lazy lines, I mean, I dunno, how's the community feel about that? That guys in the chat, let us know. I mean, I'm seeing a comment here when lion shoe, uh, you know, if that's something you guys would love to see an NBA game with lazy lion, uh, sneakers being worn, uh, you know, I know we got a ton of press about the board apes shoes last week, and it was really cool to just see an NFT, you know, on a shoe in real life. There it is on screen. Um, you know, and I love her and changed his shoes. Uh, you know, pretty much every game. So I have a feeling, you know, that he's not done and there's his lazy lion there on screen. So, uh, can we get that on a shoe? I think that'd be pretty sweet. Yeah, that's awesome. You called it Chris.Let's see it let's make it happen. The crowd would be roaring. David says great comment there, Dave. All right, guys. So back to the discord really quick. So again, you guys have over 80 K discord members, you know, I'm sure we've all been crazy. Discords where they're spamming and just out of control. What do you guys do to manage the discord? Now we've got a great team, great team, and that's, um, you know, not just, uh, uh, in just the community managers that we have in there, but even the moderators as well. And I think anyone in the community with. Um, you know, a lot of people I could shout out individually, but yeah, the mods, the community managers, um, I support team and even just like the RA, we've got like different roles.Like we have one called like a role, uh, Royal king, sorry. And these are like community members that are sorta like self appointed by the community itself. It's funny. It's like we don't even choose. Um, so it's like, even though we, you know, the more and more we scale up and grow, um, it hasn't been too much of the.Um, but yeah, that's, that's how it sort of does it, so it doesn't get, like, it gets crazy at times, for sure. Especially on like, you know, Lauren's days and like rewards, especially. And we've got that one coming up this Friday. Um, when the, uh, Downey's sent out, it gets pretty, did pretty well on that day because it's a bit of fun, but, uh, now it's all governed quite well.I think that's awesome. How active are you guys? Both in the discord. And do you have any like favorite channels in there? I'm probably a bit too active in the, um, in the disc, like considering, like I'm also, I'm like leading up like the product team and obviously like, uh, just trying to keep my eyes on everything else in the, in the project.Um, but man, it's just so addicting being in the discordant. Like what do you, I guess it's just like, it's hard not to be what up in the, in the moment. And then you're sitting there for like half an hour, just chatting back and forth with everybody in the. And the community. I think you get FOMO too. Like you want to scroll back and see what you've missed. You said this falling through your phone for a little bit to try to catch up with everybody and what they're saying, but in terms of favorite channel, I would have to say it's probably, um, it's probably, it's probably cabana bar. That's our, that's our main channel for lazy line holders. Um, so it's sort of, you know, it's only available to them.Um, but when that channel starts to pick up, it's really fast to pick up on. There's a lot of great discussions that, um, Uh, so yeah, you learn a lot and it's, it's great speaking with the community, uh, specifically lazy line holders. And then, yeah, that would be probably my favorite channel. I'd say there's lots of learning.Yeah, love that. So we've seen a lot of discord hacks over the last couple of weeks, you know, discord, Twitter, hacks, you know, different kinds of schemes going on there. Are you guys taking any precautions towards, you know, protecting the discord? Uh, let's start with you. Yeah. Sure. So recently we've done like a, an audit of our bots just to ensure that there's no, no leftover bots that are lurking, that we sort of don't need.Um, majority of our web hooks. I know they can be either a bit risky, um, in regards to, yeah. So I know that one of the disciplines I apparently got, you know, got it. They got into it because of a web hook. So we started to, you know, just review the web books, make sure they're all clean. Make sure there's nothing we don't know about.Um, we've started to leave sticky bots, uh, sticky notes in each of our. I know that sometimes you can get DMS from fake collab land. Can you try to verify your NFTs? So we have sticky notes that, um, you know, just say, make sure, like, just confirm correct collab, land, which other scams, it leads the country, uh, of that channel so nobody can see like, so no collab then can sort of see who's typing, you know, exclamation mark join to verify that. And if they, so just little things here and there to reach clean up the discord, make sure there's nothing that's sort of, you know, leftover to ensure the safety of the community. That's what we've been doing, just to make sure that nothing happens. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Pretty much that. And um, I mean, cause our discord is like so important to us as well, right?Like it's such like it's front and center of our. Um, like the project strategy, right? It's like, that's what we're really trying to grow and build a community. Cause like we've always said that like the project is the community, the community is the project. And like we're making a, we're making our bed on the discolored platform.Um, that's not to say it's perfect. Like I feel like there's, you know, there's a few things that I, you know, I'd love to suggest as a disco, um, team members and just, you know, things that I think would benefit the. Um, overall, particularly as entity and crypto is becoming more and more of a thing that's using discord.Um, cause like we've let so many important, um, possibly it's like we've got like a professional networking section. Um, cause it's funny. It goes, it's sort of gone away from the question, but it sort of ties into like what's the value in an annotate? Um, like that's a question that I've, you know, I had asked her a few times basically for people that aren't encrypted, like why would you get an NFTA?Like what do you actually get out of it? Yeah. Uh, like one of the most obvious things is the community. And some people just look at that and go, oh, like, what is that? It's like, well, like, you know, it's just because they're cartoon characters. I think the stigma is like, people think it's it's little children or like fat kids in their mother's basements that are buying these entities.Right. And it's like, that's not the, that's definitely not the case. Right. Like, Like we're speaking with, you know, mid like C level executives with doctors, with lawyers, like whatever their industry they're in, you know, our reporters, like people at the top of their industry, right. Are like really smart, intelligent people. So it's like, um, how much does it cost to get into like a professional networking? Um, uh, you know, like, oh, like, you know, how will, what's the cost of that to be a part of that? Create those kinds of connections. Right. And that's something we've doubled down on. So we have like a whole professional networking section and in the discord, um, like we have gaming sections, um, marketplace, uh, like all of these other things. So it's really critical to us. And security is really important as well. Um, those hacks are pretty scary. So it's just things that were, yeah. Like what, what nine said, those are some of the things that we're doing to make sure that, that Allstate. I think some of those numbers would love for them to be a little bit different, um, particularly cause we have. And I think if you compare it to the average would probably be a bit better. It's basically in terms of, you know, having more or, um, more females in the, in the project being inclusive as obviously one of our core values rather than being exclusive. Um, but this was just part of a survey that we, we did a while back, um, Uh, yeah. And it's interesting, like target market is, you know, 25 to 45 year old males, obviously high disposable income as well. Um, but, uh, yeah, it's definitely interesting. We thought other brands would be, you know, would love to see that kind of information, particularly now as we've got the collectibles, um, you know, probably sneak thinking a bit too much of that.Um, but just to look at about that, but that's something that we've got coming out. That data. Um, and I think it's quite valuable daughter to, to anyone in any entities, but yeah, that's, that was the reasoning behind it.Awesome. Um, that's one of those things where I probably shouldn't say too much, maybe just because I can't say too much, but I think, yeah, that might be enough there just to say that you can't comment. So maybe we got it. We got it out of Yeti. But I think it's really cool. All right. I think it's really cool and it's really exciting time. So we'll see what, um, you know, we'll see what happens with the platform. And then we will got a lot of hopes. Um, but at the same time, you know, like we've got to be a little bit skeptical.Like there's a bit of pressure on them to make sure everything comes out. Well, it's not a guarantee or anything. Like we saw what happened with like Google plus, right. Um, just because you're the biggest doesn't mean it's going to be a guarantee, but, um, I think the fact that they moving into entity.Entities and they're focusing on it as is extremely bullish. Right. Um, so I've got, I've got high hopes and they got my support. Love at Google plus. Man. I think everybody loves it. Like look at how clean that thing. Like man, whoever the tattoo was like.Yeah. He's, that's a really good word. But um, no, that was all right. That was something he called out back when we first, when we first launched it, I remember seeing that and it was like, um, did he say it's like, when were you reached to a, I'm going to get my live. And I remember looking at that and like, obviously, like I'm extremely bullish on what Wade I've got completely.Like from the early days, I was like, sure, like, you know, we can do, we can achieve whatever we set our minds to. They just went out of their way and yeah, it was just beautiful to see. Like I've got a lot of respect for these show, so, yeah. All right. So essentially this ties in without values and mission as well. Right. Which is obviously like our value is one of our values is, you know, rather than being an exclusive community, which you don't know a lot of other. Uh, you know, focusing on being, which is fine and like that works really well. And I've got a lot of respect for a lot. A lot of other projects, I would never bash another one, but, um, like ours is to be inclusive rather than exclusive. So, um, we're trying to build obviously the biggest and it's the community, that's our mission. And part of that is bringing new people that aren't necessarily in entities right now.And I feel like we sort of shoulder that responsibility as well. Um, you know, just from what other people have told me, it seems like we kind of, one of the leading projects now, at least like in the top, you know, I think like on open slate, like top 40 or all time trader those types of things. So I feel like we have a responsibility to actually, um, you know, to try and lead the space and, and bring in new people into the community rather than just, you know, those existing members who already have entities. And I think the challenge is. Because it's still so early, like the interfaces and everything, it's not super easy to get into it. Like I just, the act of having to create a wallet and minting and gas, it's sort of like, you know, I said, it's like, if you're telling a friend or family member of someone that you know, coworker about entities and they're not in it already, it's like, Hey, we've got a lazy lion. This community is amazing. Oh, cool. How much is it? And he's like one eighth and I look up one eight. They're like what? That's not how I'm going to get started. Right. So it's like, okay, how can we say. I have those, um, people still become a part of the community without having to fork out that much straightaway. And that's where this sort of referral program collectibles thing came to mind. So essentially what it is is every community member or every new person that you invite to the community, all they have to do is join discord and they will get a pack of tokens for free that they can claim on our website.Um, and this pack will be a random, you know, it'll be a set of cards. Um, you know, like we had to have a lane, next one will be, um, uh, like, uh, Thanksgiving. Right. Which is what we've got planned. So that's probably a sneak peek there more than I should. Um, so there'll be, you know, a set of eight, eight, uh, Thanksgiving cards.Um, and every pack that you open, you'll get two random ones. And the idea is complete the set and you enter to win a lazy lines. Um, so this way, anyone who's not in the community already can just join up, join the discord, get a pack. And if they want to get more packs, they just invite more people. And we cover the gas company. These tokens appear on open. See they can list them free without having to pay any gas that's all covered. So someone could come in, not pay a single cent, get one of the rare tokens, list them and then, you know, make a profit or try and complete the set and win a prize. Um, and I think it just ties in, like we said, without values gives them an opportunity to experience what minting is.Um, and then, you know, bringing in the ecosystem and understand the true benefits of web three. So. A bit of a lengthy explanation, but yeah, that's, that's what the collectibles ideas. We appreciate the background there. Yeah. When's the launch. Yep. So right now that is in, um, we've got like a soft bed or internally.Um, that's scheduled for launch, uh, next week, next week. So we've got rewards this week. Oh, wow. Is that a big thing? And then we've got this coming out next week. That's awesome. That's awesome. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So yeah, pretty excited. You'll definitely see. Um, I think this will, yeah, we'll see how it goes, but I can see it having a pretty positive effect.I think so. Yeah. I, we we've seen some of these card ones do well too, and that's a great way. Like you said, to bring new people into the community and also the referral program, uh, you know, I'm a big fan of that. So. You know, uh, we wish you luck with that. And thanks for breaking that news here on the roadmap, it's always exciting to, you know, hear what's next from these projects. And, you know, I think that, uh, community out there is loving. Absolutely. I mean, that's amazing bringing new people in is the biggest part of the game. That's that's really awesome. Uh, let's take it to, we have some questions from the chat here. Um, the first question that I saw earlier in the interview today, we had a question from Brendan bald.Uh, he's asking, do you guys have any plans or hopes to develop the IP into film or TV or even comic books? So the cool thing is I've already seen a few projects do it. Um, and I think they're just, you know, they hold the, uh, lazy lines and, uh, feed themselves once you hold it, you're able to go and create these things yourself. Um, I suppose things like we're open to it, but there's no immediate plans for it, but I've seen a few cool things going around on Twitter.Yeah. I love that. Um, let's see. Do we have any more questions from the chat here, Chris, that we want to think we got most of the questions answered. Well, you know, uh, people loved hearing the Coinbase conversation again, and people loving this roadmap talk. Um, we're seeing merge now asked from Morgan. Um, you guys, I think you, do you have some merch already or pens for Merck in the works?Uh, we've got much in the works. So, um, you know, I've seen, what's been being worked on, um, I think the community's going to love what we, what we release with this. Um, so yeah, not, not quite yet, but that's in the works. It's coming out soon. And then mass. How about that? A question there from a breezy in the chat, uh, that, that could be a fun one.Oh, yeah. So when Arizona ice tea collab, can you guys tell us more about that? Is that a rumor or, you know, is this question coming out of nowhere? Um, yeah, I mean, there's nothing like official going on. Um, what's nice. Is it sort of ties back into the collective. Um, to cause now, like again, if there are any brands listening as well, I feel like there's definitely an opportunity for the brands who are wanting to get into entities, particularly with like more established projects.Um, at least for us, this is an opportunity for us to actually partner up with brands in a way that's actually beneficial for everyone involved. So, um, you know, if we were doing those, you know, biweekly, um, releases of collectible cards and one of them. The Arizona theme, just for the sake of argument. Um, but yeah, not nothing official, but we're definitely open.Perfect. Well, I think that's going to do it for today's interview, you know, nine Asher big.Thank you for both of you coming on our show. I know it's early morning where you guys are at, um, your flexibility with doing that. Also shout out to the latest science community. I mean, mass, look at them. They're in full force here in the chat during this whole interview. So a shout out to lazy.Absolutely. I mean, this has honestly been one of the biggest communities I've seen and I'm personally measured by the Twitter. You know, I see on my Twitter, the profile picture, I mean, I see a lion, I would say one out of every 10. If that, I mean, you guys are killing it. I can't wait to have you guys come on again and just, you know, do some updates in the.Yeah, man, this is a lot of fun. Um, I have like, everyone's been waiting for it for a while. So this is tape spot. It went by a lot quicker than I thought it would. you know, but, uh, yeah, not, King's definitely out there doing this. Yeah, well, we will, we will have to have you guys back on. Um, so thanks again, nine and Asher, uh, before I let everyone go here, uh, mass, we do not have a show tomorrow.Um, I know I said we're going Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 2:00 PM. Eastern time. Benzinga is hosting. PAC awards. And actually there's going to be some awards given in crypto and NFT categories. You do not want to miss it. Uh, so get out your wrapping paper and put on your best cologne. Cause we're about to learn about proof of beauty's London gift and the London nightclub Dow. Okay. That's why you need your best Cullen in case you were wondering, I am joined today by defy developer, Brian Moore and master of margin, Ryan McNamara. How y'all felt. Doing good. That was a wicked intro. Logan who a, uh, I think it was the master of margin who wrote that one a hundred percent. How are you doing Logan? I'm doing great. Thank you so much for finally asking. Uh, but I want to know how y'all are doing in the chat. Uh, so let us know, drop a comment right below the like button, uh, Let us know what projects NFT or crypto you are looking at this week while you're down there. The first link in the description is the Benzinga crypto separate YouTube channel, where all the hot crypto clips will be posted. Uh, also join our telegram for a twenty-five percent off on the sick Buhner bus swag. You can get. BTC had doge hat, whatever, whatever team you're on, whatever you're feeling, uh, you can get 25% off by joining our telegram. It's that easy? Uh, also we just launched a brand new landing page for moon, our bust with a moon or bust game. Yes, that's right. A game. You can go vote moon or bust on all of your favorite tokens. Uh, the link is in the description as well. So make sure you check it out, go drop your votes and let us know how you're feeling.Make sure to connect with us on Twitter and our guests as well. All of that is linked in the description below. Um, but with that out of the way, let's get into the news. So I say we start off today talking about Budweiser, uh, buying a Tom Sachs NFT and the beer dot E E N S domain name, uh, Ryan, what do you think about a separate a second company coming into the NFT space, especially the PFP space, uh, after visa bought that crypto punk.Yeah, I definitely think it's really interesting. And it seems like visa might've been more of a marketing play. I think they put it really well in their tweet, talking about how they, they they've collected financial instruments through the past. So I thought that was really cool. But Budweiser, I think is a little bit different because not only did they get, like you said that Tom sex, rocket factory NFT, but they got ENS domain name, which I think is really. They actually got to, so they got beer dot Ethan. They got beyond beard at youth. So I don't really follow Budweiser much. I'm not really sure what that beyond beer dot eats would be used for, but yeah, who knows maybe they have something else in the works, but I definitely think that this could really push up the ENS market. There's probably more speculative investments with these shorter domain names, kind of like the.com bubble. And I think it'll be really interesting to see where this all goes. And if more companies start buying dot youth domain, Not to mention they bought it for 30 eith. Yeah. It was like a hundred thousand dollars.I wasn't saying that's really cool. Uh, so I don't know. I haven't heard yet, but we saw visa went through a third party to, to, you know, facilitate their transaction. Um, but did buzz, did Budweiser use a third party or did they buy east to do this? I do you guys hear about it? Oh, I didn't do my research on that. And neither did I it's like, you have to look in, if you guys know, drop a comment and fill us in, uh, otherwise we'll try to figure it out for next time. Um, but yeah, it's cool to see that further adoption. I think that visa might've knocked over the first domino in a long line of corporate NFT plays. Uh, so we'll keep our eyes on that going forward.Uh, in other news, uh, crypto markets are not doing a whole lot. I'll I'll share coin market cap with you guys here. We could just take a quick peek over the market. See what's up. See what's going on. So we got BTC hovering around 49. Again, we got east back at 3,200 car dynos holding steady, uh, looking for $3 again, soon Binance coins. The one that's ripping today. That's about it. We've got polka dot. Let's see. What do you guys have on your radars today? Anything in particular? I'm just glad Binance is above 500. Again, I bought, I put some more into my, um, rebalancing and change my values. So I added a lot more BNB when it was at two 70, I mean, uh, four 70.Okay. Breaking even there. For sure, good day, Mike, you want to let us know what crypto is you're looking at. Maybe we could talk about, um, uh, that goes to everyone else. We got Gavin, Gavin Newsome, good old Gavin, uh, is looking at car Dano. Maybe we'll pull up that chart for a second. Cardona was up 30% on the seven day that is thick.Uh, and you know, it's in price discovery. Reaching those new all-time highs. We're look for that to continue here shortly. Uh, yeah, let's see. The market cap is $125 billion. That's insane. I guess that's the fully diluted market cap. Maybe it's closer to the, to this number here, the 89 billion still either way.Ridiculous. Uh, and it's probably only going to get bigger throughout the next couple of months. We will keep our eyes on it for sure. Um, our well about the, um,The vice president of the global brands of Budweiser, um, their parent company, uh, enhance or Busch InBev said that they're, um, investing in a new NFT media shop run by Gary V. So there are jumping full, full, full in the deep end on this. They really capitalize on the new booming again, booming market, which is pretty cool. There you go. Another thing I wanted to point out, uh, chain-link Oracle's went live on Solano today. That is pretty cool in my opinion. And I like how chain-link is working with all these different blockchains. Uh, they, they have really got it figured out. Um, okay. But let's jump back to the, to the NFT space.Maybe we should just talk about proof of beauty, get that going. Or do you guys have any other projects you want to talk about? Really? We should rip her Rooney right? To proof of beauty. All right. Rip Rooney. We shall so back again today on Muno boss is our good friend David's son. David worked on the zero X protocol helps create the macho Dex aggregator.Uh, and now he started his own NFT project known as proof. Beauty proof of beauty turns blockchain transactions into beautiful pieces of NFTE art. And they recently launched a new limited collection called the London gift that David is here to tell us about. David welcome back, man. How are you? Good, good. How are you guys doing great. We are happy to have you on to talk to us about London. Uh, we had you on earlier this summer and the audience loved it, uh, for anyone who missed the last episode, um, maybe could you just fill us in on your background, how you joined the crypto space and what projects you've worked on so far?Yeah, I mean, you already kind of. Summaries, I'm going to fill in the gaps there. Uh, I joined in 2017 during that ICO bubble lost a good change of money during the bear market, uh, but decided to stick around and join zero X protocol as an engineer. And, you know, it was building infrastructure for what is today's defy.Um, and then at T marketplace, uh, things like what you like the technology, but open seat. It was very much so inspired by, uh, zero X protocol. But, yeah, so a bit the NMT bug, when crypto kitties slow down the eat market, um, back in 2018 and I always wanted to do NFTs, um, and provability kind of was a side project and soon became a full-time endeavor. And haven't looked back since. I love it. Uh, so before we talk about London, let's do a quick recap, uh, about proof of beauty's first collection, the hash collection. And if you want me to pull up any part of the website, just let. Yeah. Um, I think the best, uh, I guess demonstrator of the project probably will be hash dot POB that studio slash explore or explore page.Um, yeah. So, uh, hash is the project about collecting history about collecting transaction history, um, on the theory of blockchain, uh, what do we mean by that? Well, it's, uh, you know, We historically, you know, uh, have always collected, uh, Pictures. Uh, we actually tell history like just general history via, uh, arts.Right? We have oil paintings of the French revolution. We have a war photography of the Vietnam era. We did that, but just the more crypto native way, which is using NFTs as the. Painting that represents a moment of history, uh, on the blockchain. So, uh, you can feed it a transaction, right? Any Ethereum transaction, it could be your spirit first transaction, icky hack.It could be the largest, it could be the visa sale, right. Or it'll be the purchase of the crypto punk. And then we take all the information within that transaction and. A piece of art, right? Um, and this piece of art, you can also add a title description to kind of describe it. There's a whole lot of interaction you can do there.Right. And that's kind of a way of telling stories, right. In a very crypto native way. And then there's been a pretty lively, secondary market. People are speculating on what history is very valuable. Right. Um, Yeah, that's, that's hatch. It's kind of like a project to make collecting history, telling stories about crypto fund, hopefully.Um, and, and, uh, engaging. Yeah, this is awesome. Um, so right now I'm looking at Jay Z's crypto wallet addresses, is that. Uh, I think so I started way, way, way back. I started here. Uh, I found these featured collections. Wait, was it? No, it was down a little bit of login a little down. So Sean Carter right here, view Jason.Memorable moment. So what you guys did is you found Jay-Z's wallet addressed, found all the transactions and then use their algorithm to turn these into pieces of, of beautiful NFTE art, uh, that we could, I can mint right now for 0.08. Yeah. So these are like unclaimed transactions as, um, But, yeah, so like, just to kind of clarify, the key rule with hash is, uh, one transaction, one MTV.So if it's the minted, you could only buy it on the secondary market. Right? So there's like this race to the bottom where, you know, when the Lendon hard fork happened, everybody wanted, wanted the very first transition. After the hard fork. Right? So, um, this kind of a fun competitive game at play, um, you know, uh, with a lot of these guys trying to get the best parts of the history.Hmm. So I'm just pulling up ether scan here, looking into this NFT transaction, the first, uh, seven to one transaction on Jay Z. His address. I'm wondering if this is the punk. It doesn't look like it was, it could have been a transfer from somebody to him, I think. Very cool. And then we have the first Eve inbound. So what do you think this might. Probably just disguised when I'm in Coinbase and just loaded a crap load of, yeah. Dang. That's cool. And it's, it's still for sale. That's crazy. Uh, I have to pick that up after the show. No one swipe it from me, please. Um, okay. Let me take my screen off and pull up the next question. So at the beginning of this. Uh, Ethereum successfully launched the EIP 1559 London hard fork. Uh, what is the significance of this in your opinion? Yeah. I mean, I think there's a lot of layers to this. Um, obviously the first one is it, it radically changed how gas, uh, how we carpet gas pricing and, and that, you know, I don't think we have fully realized the benefits of like, you know, lower gas prices from the IP 1559 heart, um, a change, but it definitely radically changes.Pricings, right? Like there's, it's, it's a lot more predictable. It's, uh, you know, theoretically it's deflationary right. For Eve, which, you know, makes me more of a youth maxi than I was before. Um, you know, and, and that's really all cool. And. You know, men, a mask recently updated right. To support you. I think that 59 transactions and personally, I think the UX is a lot better just being able to see the price actively flash. And then if you, and then being a lot more predictable with the blog, with like the timing, it's like, oh, this should be within 30 seconds, which now is what used to be kind of just. Shot in the dark. Now it's a little less of a shot in the dark. At least now you have a little laser pointer, um, to help you out a bit.So that's very powerful. Um, but I think the repercussions of 1559 is it really demonstrates the power of utility and consumer use. I think a lot of other boxing's their political power is really constrained by their minors. Right? Whatever they say, you know, they, they own the hash power, right. The fact that you got P 1559, which perspec like on the perceptions, it's bad for minors as, as a part of their fees get burnt.Um, the fact that this thing was able to pass with some amount of buy-in the minor side on the developer side on the adapt side, kind of really is I think tells how politically strong. That youth community is right. Being able to do something that is had a lot of controversies from the beginning. Right. And that if that doesn't make you a little bit more bullish on youth being capable of upgrading itself, being capable of adapting itself to whatever future needs, uh, right. I don't think a lot of. Uh, blockchain and communities have yet to face these endeavors. I don't see a signal on definitely Bitcoin has its own struggles and usually it all is occurred to hard forks. The fact that Eve was able to have no hard forks, uh, and just very easily kind of move over to this, uh, kind of contentious, uh, EIP. It shows a lot of the maturity of the technology stack and the community that's operating. And then that's, to me a very longterm. Bullets signal that, you know, The world is going to throw a lot of crap at each blockchain, but it seems that Eve has, uh, has bore through a lot of these, you know, through its history and seems more likely to succeed and whenever a new, um, issue arises.Right? Yeah. Most definitely. Uh, I just kinda want to dig in here a little bit, cause I also think that this is the most significant thing. Uh, aside from the fee burning, it was being able to convince the miners to take less money, uh, and continue upgrading. This network, it shows that they are truly convicted. They truly believe in the future of the network and they care about holding Eve. Long-term more than they care about their mining profits in the near term here. So, um, we're looking for Bitcoin to, to try to pull off a similar feat towards the end of the year with taproot, right? Yeah. I think that's coming up actually in a month or so David, do you know.I'm probably the worst at Bitcoin since September. Yeah. They're pretty much trying to do a very similar idea. I mean, so David, I want to touch on what it takes to pull off something like this without a hard fork. Um, well, I'm not the best one to answer to this, to be honest. Um, I don't know all the nuances of core development on, on Heath.Um, but I do know that. The difficulty bomb in place with a theorem, um, was a huge, uh, what do you call it? Political poker chip that developers had against the miners. It's, uh, you know, the difficulty bomb, the hash rate grows very fast to a place where the hash difficulty goes very fast to a place where miners are.Unsustainably producing blocks. That's kind of like mutually assured destruction mechanic, and, um, developers gave themselves, I think the key to delay that bomb. Uh, so I think that played a part, but also I think miners are realizing just how much. Bye. And there was from dApps from, you know, from like just, uh, PR decks protocols from the NMT space. It's like they don't, they didn't want to make themselves the enemy towards this humongous market that they're now, uh, sustaining. So I think there's, there's been enough political pressure just to, uh, say that we want to be part of the future instead of. Make a very contentious, like we're all making money, so it's all be happy, kind of a deal.Very cool. Totally. So I want to jump back into proof of beauty because there has been a lot of new developments on it since you were on the show last, can we start by talking about proof of beauty's London gift and what it is? Yeah. Yeah. Uh, London as a project was a. Attempt to celebrate this hard fork.Right? Um, it was, we wanted to build something that, uh, I guess, you know, hash was about recording history, right? It was about how do we document it's like the camcorder, but we wanted a project that makes sense. Right. We wanted a product that celebrated that history and we saw a great opportunity with this hard fork that like, look, we can create a great meme around it, create a great project around it and find a way to celebrate it.Um, so that's what London that was, that was inspiration for London. Um, London started as actually an ERC 20 project. Um, it was an altcoin, um, but the key condition was you had a. Or if you wanted to get the London ERC 20 token, you had actually met at a very, very specific gas price on the specific gas price was 15.59 G way in celebration of VIP 1559.So it, it threw people for a little bit in the ringer. It was instead of thinking about gas prices, just like if I pay a lot, I get my transaction in. Um, the protocol was actually like, Hey, I don't want you to pay on actually. I need you to pay less. To get the most amount of tokens. So it made people have to rethink how gas price works.Right. And that was the whole point of the project because London was going to change how gas Spiceworks. So we wanted to project that makes you change how gas of works. Right. So, um, that created a very interesting, uh, uh, Community and mechanic right then that's why we called the Dow. The London nightclub Dow was people realized that you wanted to get a transaction. That's so low on gas price. And on the blockchain, you had to do it at night. You had to do it on the weekends when nobody was, you know, using the blockchain. So people were like, this is the nightclub, right? Like this is the London nightclub. We got to do it at the night. And we're all going to start having fun and start flooding the blockchain with, you know, London transactions. And that's that's, that's where that monitor came from the one, the nightclub. Um, but yeah, so, you know, you could have meant the London ERC 20 all the way up to the hard Hartford. Right. And right after Hartford, we gave it its first utility. You could buy the London gift and have tea, uh, which, which is about 8,000 of them.Um, and don't wait to get them was you had to pay 1559. London tokens. Right. So if we didn't ask for eith, we asked for the ERC 20 token. Um, yeah, so that was a very fascinating experience because the first four hours of the hard fork London gift was actually the number one burner. Uh, um, and that, like, it was really funny to see when there were, there were, I think there was a Bankless podcast that was live streaming, the IP 50, 59 of that. And then people were like, what the hell was this London gift that was topping it up for the first few hours of that podcast. Um, and that kind of, it was emblematic of that. Goal that we wanted to make noise. We wanted to make history. Right. Um, and, and we also actually have the honor of, um, the very first EIP, 1559 transaction on the theory of blockchain is a London transaction, like London gift transaction.Uh, so that's another like, uh, and, and the funny part is that very transaction has been collected as. By the half community. Right? So you can see the, like the interplay that we're having with these two projects, these two collections, uh, which is super exciting and super fun to see on the day, uh, of the hard fork.Um, and you know, I think for us, at least internally, it did everything we wanted it to do. Right. Which is make noise. Bring a community together. Uh, tell people about this great change through the hard fork, um, in a very crypto native way. Right. Um, and yeah, so now we have the London gift, um, It's been selling on open sea on the secondary market price floor has been all right.Pretty good at 0.13 right now. Um, and, and, you know, there's quirky names for those and, and people have been using them as backgrounds for their crypto punks for board aids. Uh, there's all kinds of fun stuff happening there. Um, And yeah. I mean, you know, you don't have to really understand all this crazy history that I just explained to buy a London gift.I hope that they're visually appealing enough. It's just like, you know what? I just want to own one for fun, right. Or own one, like an art blocks for speculation. Um, but yeah, like that's the history though behind the gift. So you're not just. Generative art and you're buying something that I think has a lot of embedded history in it.And it's been my job to, uh, show that part of the project. So cool. How you went from documenting or like cam cording history, like you said, to making it yourself. Yeah. Yeah. Um, that was the goal with London and we were. Uh, scared that we wouldn't be able to pull it off, but I think we, uh, I definitely, I blew it blew all of our, um, uh, expectations out of the water when it, when it came out. It's easy to think about that. The very first strings, the action on the new fork was your guys' project. I mean, what are the odds? I mean, it's a global thing. It could have been like. That let alone. That is enough to more people need to know that. Yeah. I think that adds a lot of credibility, honestly, to proof of beauty to have that transaction hash. That's really cool. I had a quick followup question about London. How much were London tokens? How much would it cost to mint a London gift at the time of mint, maybe in easy terms and USD. Uh, I definitely won't have exact numbers here, um, to get London, um, since it was low gas price and you didn't have the pain to eat, there was a fair launch project.Uh, we, we didn't pre mine anything. We didn't ask for any money for it. Uh, If you've minted at 15.59 G way, probably the London would cost you $4 for 1,559 of it. Cause it's, Ethan's cheap as 15.59 G way. Um, but I know some folks just because they were trying to get it, get it on a, on a T last minute they were trying to scramble in and get transaction. Then they were like paying 60 G way. Um, but at 60 G when you only got like a hundred London, So they were actually paying a huge premium just to even get a little bit of London, which is ironic for, for how the gas market works. But I do know that the price served all the way up to like about seven to 10 cents a coin for London, just right up to the hard fork.Um, and that was really amazing to see, because some of our early supporters of this project who minted, like millions of London were able to now profit, um, without even an entity coming out yet. Right. So they were able to sell their London for multiple Eve. Right. And, and that was, uh, Very different, you know, compared to gas wards that we're seeing with art blocks, with other NFP projects, where the miners reap the reward of their, of this huge FOMO, but we wanted a way to reward early supporters. And I think London did that. Right. Um, I think at the time of minting, because I mean, the market's very thin for London tokens. It was between seven to 12 cents a minute. So if it was four and to get an NMT was 1,559 London token. So napkin math, it would be about 150, 150, $160. And the price floor was stabilizing on the secondary market around 0.0 8.09.So that was about breakeven. I think. And now we're seeing that kind of rise as, as more folks are learning about what London is, London gift is. So aside from needing London tokens to mint the London gift, how does the token play into the ecosystem you guys are building? Yeah. Yeah. So that's a great question.Um, after we released the London gift, All of that London that we acquired. Well, not we, but the Dow acquired is now part of it's like working capital, right? So it's like a weird way of thinking about it, right? Like most ICO projects, they release a token and then they save a portion of it for themselves. We did it the other way we gave it all. And then we had to get, get it back in. All right. So, uh, the way we got it back in was the London gift and a T how we sold it. So about 13 million of the token, what is housed by the Dao, which is that we have a supplier 45 million of them. About 25% of the supply is now held by the Dao.Um, it also receives 5% of the secondary market fees. So we have about a thousand eith of volume on London gifts. So now it has about 50 ease of capital. They can use to do things. Um, And the London token and the London gift, our governance power to the stout. Um, and, and we really gave it the directive that does Dow should continue to land the London experiment, um, and whatever that means, um, and the community has kind of grabbed it around. This, this identity that we should be the Dow that creates history and celebrates history. So when, uh, the theory emerge happens, uh, uh, when he changed from proof of work to proof of stake, um, I think the London Dow is going to try to do something for that event. Um, but pretty much perpetuate this, um, the th the initial ambition of, of the London project.Um, but just for. Historic events. And now that it's a Dow has a operating capacity to do it. And I know that a lot of other folks want the London token to almost be like a mid pass. So if you want to get into exclusive entities, you will need to own London tokens to get access to. So there's a lot of speculation on the value, but we didn't define a lot of value in the beginning. We literally were just like, guys, you guys are getting a meme token. Like where are we going to be Frank with you? We haven't figured out any value for us yet. And the point is is that we're going to figure it out together. Right? Like, uh, and then, you know, still a lot of folks loved the idea, loved what the. The, the story behind the project is, and now we're, you know, working hard to, with the community to build out value. That's really cool. Has the dowel deployed any of that capital yet on any projects or. Uh, not, not yet. We have a lot of great proposals in play. We have a bird mechanic that we want, that people want to introduce to the London gift project so that you can burn those entities together at different NMT.Um, that's kind of in line with what EIP 1559 is all about. Running Eve. So they were like, we gotta burn love and gifts cause it's its own poetic to do so. Um, so there's that proposal kind of going through its process. And I think that would eventually have to, um, deploy capital to fund developers fund whatever's needed to realize that, uh, There's been a lot of work right now on boosting the LPs on the liquidity on London tokens. So there's been a lot of great proposals, deploy capital and deploy London tokens into, uh AMMS to support the liquidity needed to sustain a doubt. Right. Um, so. That's been two main threads, but there's a lot of other random ideas that people have wanted willing to build there's ideas around the London. Those you want to create a loaning group internally in the Dow where you can put up a, an, a T that you own as collateral, right. And you can draw money out and you can only get access to this. If you are London, dowel member, right. You'd be hold London token. So it's like a small credit, you know, Before London people.Right? So there's a lot of good ideas. It's really just been like, we found a way to get a community get together in the community now. Well shit, we, we, we have money. We have intention. Let's realize it. And they're all very quirky, you know, excited, exciting ideas. So, ah, that's awesome. I have two quick questions.I want to jump in with one. How do I join the Dow and two, how do I get London? Token? Yeah. Oh, you joined the London Dow literally just by owning either a gift or. 1,559 London tokens. Um, you can do more if you want to be a whale. Um, obviously that means more voting power, uh, but that's the minimum to get on our discord and access all the private channels.Um, that, that is, uh, that is reserved for the London down members. And you can buy London on sushi swap. We have a AMM there. I wouldn't say that. Yeah, the slippage is amazing. Um, we're working on that, but you could definitely buy London gift on the open sea markets for, you know, a Flores 0.13 right now.And that I did this morning. I picked up body, uh, in anticipation of this interview. I think it's so cool. So maybe do you want to just take a look at the features real quick? Uh, we could walk through them. So, uh, what are some of the ones that the community has picked out that you want to. Yeah, I, um, I think a lot of the community loves the view, go to the main, uh, filter and I can go all the way down to the unique, which is so most of these names.Randomly generated, but then I took some time to make some funny names and I just watched Deadpool. When I, when I did these names, I wanted to fall breaking names like of these are pretty fun. Um, uh, so somebody, who's a pretty funny, I think light-hearted, it's supposed to make up a few pokes at the T space.Um, um, can you show this for me last sold 108th for sale. Yeah. Yeah. So it's, these are really rare tokens, right? I guess NFTs. And there's only 30 of them out of the thousand 8,000 of them. And people have been trying to get their hands on these, um, And that's been, it's just been a fun, creative use name. Then I know that the community had a great laugh, um, from somebody names. Um, um, there's just different commentary on, on crypto culture, on NMT culture. Yeah, they're awesome. So David correct me if I'm wrong, but these London gifts, they were generated on men, right? They weren't generated before these were actually generated before.Um, uh, hash is not cause hatches at design concern. You know, we, we, we can't know what transaction and giving us until you gave it, you gave it to us, but right. For London, we took a page out of how board apes did its launch. Um, and they did it pre pre pre-built. So I saw you took inspiration from board apes, and I saw that on your website. Can you go a little bit more into detail about that inspiration? Yeah. Yeah. Um, well I think when we clarify, clarify inspiration, it was much more of a technical inspiration as in how they, uh, built their in a T project to last a very, very, very long time for if not forever. Right? Uh, since the London gifts.Project celebrating London to hard fork. It should exist as long as a theory exists. Right? So we had, we wanted to build a design constraint that this thing has decentralized as longterm as possible. And I think Bart apes has one of the better designs out there, uh, that allows her great rich artworks, but also, uh, storage, a lot of stuff on chain to allow you to maintain. This is in fact a right NFT, that's pointing to the right metadata. So that's what I mean by inspiration is we, I looked at its contracts. We looked at it it's Providence design and would be, uh, figured out, um, uh, you know, a lot of great ideas there, uh, that we can build for wanting to gift. So I've been looking at art blocks lately and it looks like they have some similar type of projects.Do you have any opinion on art blocks? Do you own any, what do you think about. Yeah. Yeah. I mean our boxes, uh, I I've, I've known him them when they were just on Rinka B, but when they were, does a test project, uh, in November last year, I don't remember. Um, yeah, I mean, I, I think the community is amazing. Um, there's been a lot of great noise and I think that what they're doing is lifting all that.Generative art up, right? We're all rising with their, with what they're demonstrating in the market that's capable of being created. Um, I do think, um, as a project, there's, there's some genuinely good art. Um, I, I do think that some things I personally don't visually find appealing, but, uh, some of the work like the Cadenza pieces, like they were truly, I think, uh, amazing to me, uh, sub scape was really good.Um, a lot of the work coming from. Keith is really well done. I really liked it. I remember when credenza was kind of quiet the market. Wasn't going crazy. Like it is now. I was putting up Teddy with offers and nobody was taking them. I was just like, darn it's like tennis is not allowed. I was like the only one dropping 10 offers. And, and nobody took them and I'm kind of regret not offering more now. Um, um, but yeah, I mean, it did to do great things for the general market. I do know that they have some growing pains that they're working through with gas boards, um, and pricing out their new community members because of just how expensive now curated pieces are.Our blocks factory is as well. Um, Yeah, I think they caught on a great meme, which is like this trading card kind of experience. Right. You pull a random and you, hopefully you get a great thing that such a, such a small supply. Um, and that's really awesome to see. Um, is that something that proof of beauty is interested in doing?Um, not necessarily mainly because I think they've kind of figured it out. Um, and we don't really think that. Precisely something that we can offer that is very, very unique. I do think that the London gift, um, visually and its design was very inspired by how art blocks works. Um, so it is meant to try the art blocks community towards the proof of beauty ecosystem.Um, but yeah, I mean, I, I think snowfall, the guy who. Um, our block is doing great stuff there. Um, and it's sustaining a good community there's downs now going on with their, some of their artworks, uh, only good things to say for them. And we're reaping the, you know, the windfall of the successful generative art project tidbit that I didn't know.So snow fro fro is actually the guy who founded our. Yeah. I mean, he was, he was a one man army in the beginning that I follow him and I've been following him for a while. I didn't even realize that that's a guy who found it hard blocks. Okay. I know he owns a shitload of crypto punks, but Hey, now I know.Yeah. So yeah. So David, can you tell us a little bit more about the, the London nightclub Dow? Um, I guess how does governance work on the platform? Is it a quadratic voting thing? Is it one token equals one vote? Uh, that's a good question. Uh, we have, um, implemented quadratic voting the snapshot proposals.Um, I don't think we're in a place where governance is mature enough to put everything on chain and also. Gas fees or horrifying bad. If you have to pay $40 a vote, um, and $4, if you don't want to vote, um, or withdraw your vote. Um, so we're, so we have to do this option B uh, gas, this voting, um, when that's snapshot and it's quadratic voting.Um, so we, we do have a lot of big whales and for London, there's a lot of guys with million dollar plus, well, a million London plays. So to kind of, even out the playing field, quadratic voting made a lot of sense. It does make sense. And those, those, uh, people with all that London, if I got the right contract, London is pretty up there now, compared to what 15, what you were explaining 1559, love them equal to in the beginning to get it.Now it seems that that token price has gone up quite a bit, but I don't know if that's the right crop contract. I was looking on sushi swap, but I got kind of confused. Where I think I got lost and did a scam London. There's a SU there is a London. I, I think I know what you're talking about on Susan's slop.I looked up London, there's a London, Tokyo. It's very priced well, and that's because it's the NFTA. Um, token it's presenting the price of the London gift, where does actually a different London, which is ERC 20. So I was confused on that and I don't know why they called the London, I guess, an a TX thing London as well. They should have called one gift, whatever. Yeah, I think that is what I was looking at. But moving on from that part and kind of going into the general NFT space, where do you think that. What do you think the booming in the NMP popularity in, you know, industries and celebrities and stuff, getting into these and paying ridiculous amounts of money, but actually raising the value of, you know, just someone who has, uh, a normal, everyday NMT that they got, they found Twitter. It got it for, you know, 0.02, either something, not a whole lot, but not. Too cheap, but you know, they got it. And now all of a sudden they're becoming millionaires because they had all these bunch. What do you think about all that stuff going on in this space right now? Yeah, I mean, uh, uh, I, that's a great question.I know when I joined the DFI space, I fell in love with this ambition to, uh, its ambition, to make wealth equitable, to access. Um, and, and that was just this very fundamental idea that. If we make a protocol that this does not care who you are, you should give you the equal amount of access to, to all the financial levers that we can access to.Right. As a participant, whether that means using compound without knowing what skin color, what nationality or whatever, um, in the, in a very, I guess, what do you call it? Realistic. More pragmatic view of that vision. I think, uh, defy you need assets. You need, you need a lot of money to really participate in a financially great way with, with these things, unless you're yellowing into like a thousand percent plus yields, hopefully you don't get bank run risk.Right? You hopefully your token doesn't just tank. Right? So. As much as the ambition is there. It's it's I don't think we were seeing truly the fruits of the labor. Um, whereas an NMT is, I think we're seeing people capturing, um, you know, community is via, Anaptys capturing, uh, brand power or capturing reputability in a T.And now they're able to sell these for a hundred, a thousand X to folks that need. Reputation that needs that very scarce resource. And it's creating generational wealth. It's creating a truly equitable world. It's given Eve the truly powerful reason to be at denominated asset, right? Like I've never in my life thought in E until not is right.Like I thought everything in the U S dollar, like my, my personal accounts and his area on and everything it's in the east now. It's not an us dollar, which is incredibly powerful. Right. Um, and yeah. See that movement where early speculators are able to capture the windfall of this demand is, is amazing. I think we don't see this often with wealth distribution systems, um, in the real world, or even in really in DFI.Right? I think the Unisource airdrop was very powerful, but folks were making $10,000 all of a sudden, because you need to swap, decided to do a distribution like that. I'm all for those kinds of things, right. It's definitely going to create a lot of FOMO and, and less, uh, well-intended projects will come in and these will eventually result in corrections in the market.Um, um, when I think this is a very long-term bullish sign. People want, um, partis want to participate in this new reputation market that is being established by entities, this new, uh, content market that is established. Right. Um, and they're more than happy to come to the table with a anonymous address to participate.Whereas before it was a lot more, you know, credit base, you had to participate, be institutions, be agencies or whatever, and they all take a cut. Right? So, yeah. So were you surprised when visa bought the crypto punk the other day? Uh, and what do you think is going to happen next? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I actually interned at visa when I was still in college, so I I've definitely seen. One of visa is internally, but not all their teams. Um, I definitely was a little bit surprised that was visa, that there was a first one. I wouldn't be surprised that they were one of the few that were at the beginning, but I didn't expect them to be the first one. Uh, but I do know that their, I guess their assets team whoever's managing their wealth is a very, very.Team and how they have strategically invested in a lot of different FinTech companies before and, and, and whatever the future of wealth is. They've been fairly on top of their game and, and this crypto punks investment, both in marketing stunt, but I think also a huge, um, like glass ceiling that they broke for.Institutions that in fact, crypto punks, you know, the fact that they publish that said that versus buying a Bitcoin is very fascinating, right? It tells you that owning a crypto punk, you're not as something that appreciates in value. There's a genuine amount of reputational power, cultural power that you bought.Right. Uh, Bitcoin spent 10 years building, right. For the Bitcoin meme. But crypto punks did in three years. Right. Or really didn't this year. Right. Because two years before you got about a punk for like, you know, like $5, right? Like. Yeah. If I could only go back. Uh, so speaking of going back earlier this year, we kind of saw the first, uh, little NFT bubble, uh, going on prices went crazy. And then as the crypto prices went up, uh, people started moving their value into those assets instead. I kind of think that that while everything is, is like priced and Ethan open, see people are still looking at that USD value at the end of the day. Uh, and as Ethan goes up, do you expect the NFT space to kind of struggle and, um, you know, price, price, floors go down. What do you think is going to happen as the price of Ethereum rises? It probably there will be a correction in the anti spaced and due to nominating the things that youth, when the newcomers are denominated in us dollar will create a clash. Um, right. Like for folks like ourselves, for myself, who, who, who, who has been owning for a while, uh, where we have acquired a youth at three digit numbers versus what it is now, um, uh, There's we're bound for a correction.I think that's just kind of a natural inflows of, of the market. Um, I've somebody, or we had a conversation with somebody. We were like seven stages of hell, but the seven stages of crypto price movements, like you see moves Eve moves and then out coins and an entity starts to move. Like it's like a windfall of processing where wealth kind of just moves around and it flows back into the top level again. So we're saying we're going to always see that. The thing has been denominated and it's, um, you know, there's gonna be a lot of new folks, but crap while your, or date is 130,000 us dollars, that's a year salary from, for a software engineer in the bay area. Right. Like that's, you know, and that's pre-tax right. So let's. That's a lot of money. So do you think that you said the NFT bubble going to be comes after the altcoin bubble? Um, but we saw it in like early January coming, like before Bitcoin almost. And then now we're seeing it come again, maybe right before Bitcoin. Do you think it's before. Uh, I don't have any magic eight ball.Tell me that I don't, I don't know what the sequencing is at this point. Um, I do think that Bitcoin's mimetic strength over the, uh, over to other markets is, has been weakening a little bit more and more. Um, but I mean, institutions are still buying a lot of Bitcoin. Right. And I think that's more than anything. They bullish sign for Bitcoin as a store of value. So, um, I don't know the sequencing wall was changed. That's just how it, you know, if I were to predict that I would make, I would lose a lot of money. Why do you think that, um, in a T boom has happened again, like with board apes? Yeah. Budgie penguins and all of these different ones, he's either profile picture or, um, you know, these are these collectible NFT projects. Why do you think they're all Boomi again? Uh, one, some I've heard is saying that it's the community is bringing everybody together, but I wanted to see as someone that's actually doing a successful project, why do you think this is, uh, taken off rapid fire? Like it is and what. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, I think the above the bowl and March really needed a correction. It was at a place where we were operating a lot of us, I think, in the dark, when it comes to price discovery to community building, then I think the correction did come in and people were calling it at the NFC hangover or whatever where capital inflows were were, were a lot slower. Um, at the time during that time, I don't think that if the space was not building right, we were all still.Hard at work and because they're less noise, we were able to be a little less kind of fighting fires by the day we were more strategic and mindful of what we need to do. I can just speak on my own experience out in March when we were doing has still, or does the main focus like. Compared to what I know now about community building about price discovery about the token Nomics with NMT is like, I feel like I was a toddler now in March, right?Like we didn't understand anything or I didn't understand anything. And, um, we had hash max then I believe, you know, there's other great projects. But, um, I think once the NFC hangover happened, we were just kind of, I think it was a powder keg. We were just literally waiting for like the. Spark, and then everything was going to come back again.Right? It was just, to me, it was just as a matter of time for the bull market to come back. It was either in a few months, half a year or whatever, but, um, then if he sparked market works off the football lot of FOMO, right? Like, like a hedge fund goes buys and 508th of whatever, or buy the sweeps, the whole floor on crypto punks.And. That wouldn't fall brings everybody over again. Right. Um, when people are making money, everybody comes and make money. Um, but there's been a lot of maturing between these two bear bull and bear cycles, which is insane for how fast the market has been moving. The fact that we've been able to grow with it.Right. Like the fact that open, see now shows for price instead of average price, it literally showed average pride for years, right? From the beginning that opens the existed because they, nobody understood that floor price matter, not average price, right? Like it took us a bear, a bull market and a bear cycle realizing.Actually the statistic that we want to be working towards. Right. And we have tools like rarity, sniper, Ray, already tools that allows people to speculate on how rare your entities are. Um, keep our, seeing the present power of the reputation that you can gain. If you own a crypto, pumpkin, that's your portrait.Right? So, um, yeah, it's, it's, it's like relaying a lot of the good groundwork and we're also seeing a lot of great, um, infrastructure projects. Right. The fact that, uh, you know, that the open seat made like a billion, like how about a billion dollars of volume or whatever, and raise a hundred mil that puts a target on their back.Everybody wants in on that. This is now right? So that means some of the most talented people are now in the market. Right. Not buying but building. Right. That's like huge talent draw that. And it teases simply haven't had until this year. Right? Like it's, I don't think we were able to, it was able to draw the best people.Okay. It felt like a very small market or before January, right? This correction. I think quite a lot of people that stuck along. Right. So I like these because I think that the, um, the PFP or even the art projects are going to be here for a couple of years. But if you look back and you look at the tokens that even some that have been on or some of the past only like.Three to five out of the past seven years are tokens that we know now, you know? And so, and that's just gonna be the same continuing with these NMT projects. As long as the Ethereum is on polygon, all these ones that they're on their own blog. They're going to be there forever. These tokens will come and go, but these crypto punks are going to be in museums.Um, you know, they're already, they already are. So it's just really cool to see something like that with the longevity and the lifespan that these will have compared to ICO's and token projects. That'll just, yeah. So along, along with London came the, uh, background changed service, uh, which I think is really cool.I've been seeing a bunch of punks and apes with proof of beauty backgrounds. Uh, so if you can maybe talk about, uh, how that came about and the network effects you've been seeing, I will show everybody how they can do it, uh, while you're explaining. Yeah. Yeah. One of the things about London and I'm certain that you guys have felt this just from me, rambling is it's a complex project. It has a lot of history. Um, but we wanted London gift to have its own name. That's not just about history. And we wanted something about. Holds its ground for NFT speculators and just NFTE people in general. So, uh, we started to see people use London and hash as backgrounds for their, uh, uh, avatars. And we just thought that was the main, that was, um, that's how we're going to get people like crypto punks. You know, quite know what the hard fork is to love London or to love hash. So we really wanted to seize that opportunity and create a great project that would grow the, grow that meme. And that was, you know, literally two weekends and I, and I, and nearly an all-nighter and we, uh, slapped together a pretty scrappy service that, you know, we hope that we'll propagate that story, right. That, um, this meme, that London gift is a great background for. PSP projects. Yeah, for sure. Uh, I'm having a little bit of trouble selecting the, the 24 PX, uh, option for some reason. Uh, put your ape on there. I wish man. So yeah, I can't show you guys cause I don't have any of these other projects right now.Um, but maybe we could talk about how, um, you've been adding projects. Have you guys like been in contact with, with these creators? Have you let them know, worked with them to integrate. Uh, for some of them, the communities have reached out to us for most of these, we've been just taking them by the signal.Like people wanted this. We're like, okay, we'll add it. Right. Some that we obviously had ads just because they're blue chip, right? Like a Parkside that be very dumb and last not to add punks our board apes, like I own a board eight. Right. So I wanted to see my own selfish there too. Uh, cool cats. I'm a huge, cool cats fan.So that was a really easy ad for us. Um, Yeah, we it's open source so people can just drop in and literally just add two lines of code. And what law you going to add your own, uh, avatar and the process? We do permission it, cause sometimes the result is. To be less than desired and something like Photoshop may work a little bit better and know we're not interested in recreating Photoshop. So, um, when you had to restrict a few of them, but we've been collaborating with few communities like the crypto dunks, um, community. The derivative of the crypto punks project, um, we're working on a giveaway, right. Um, getting their community to, to use punks faculties, gift, get backgrounds, um, uh, the bowls on the block, the bears on the block. We're really excited too. Right. We were trying to help them out. Um, but yeah, yeah, we, we it's been the case by case basis, but awesome. Uh, that's unfortunately really all the time we have for today. David, thank you so much again for stopping by. It was a great interview as always. I'm really excited to see what's next for proof of beauty.Do you have anything you could share with us now? Yeah, I guess a half we have seasons, uh, which I'm not going to go too much into, but that's. Do generations of artworks, uh, where right now in season one saga, we do have a season two planned after season one sells out in season two. I'll just give it its name. It's called Toshi. Um, and I think Toshi, if you had to think about what it means, um, can tell you what kind of history you were targeting with Toshi. Very cool. I'm excited for. Um, so yeah, w we will have you back on when that project launches, but for now, I just want to give you the chance, any shout outs you want to make anything else you want to mention to the audience? The is. Yeah. Um, you know, we, we have a lot of great things going on. So following us, beauty, Twitter is going to be awesome. And if you go on there, we have a lot of other, Twitter's now managed by the community, not by us, for each, for all the doubts that we have going on. So that's been really amazing. You really want to follow the details of all this stuff, all the history that we're telling or making follow those Twitters, um, cause cause.Yeah, you don't want to miss out on, um, I think some of the wacky things that we're doing for sure. Awesome. Make sure to, to follow those. Twitter's they're linked in the description below and so is the website. Uh, it is right under the like button wink, wink. Um, but yeah, that's it for our interview and our show today.Um, David, thanks, Ryan. Brian, you have anything else you want to mention? No, thanks for coming on David. Absolutely. Awesome. Yeah, we'll see you guys Friday.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/moon-or-bust/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
Welcome to the inaugural episode of a new MetaGame Series called “Share What You're Making” where our hosts, Chair and Bacon interview web3 people with innovative ideas and projects. In this episode, the benevolent flightless bird Penguin makes an appearance introducing his latest endeavour: NTFA.io. NFTA, “Never Touch Fiat Again” is an exciting project that bridges crypto markets and traditional financial markets by creating and selling NFTs that actually own gold. When you buy an NFT from NTFA, you can connect to a local vault management application and request that your physical gold be delivered to you securely. When the gold is claimed and shipped, the NFT actually evolves - encouraging NFT owners to get their hands on that shiny metal. Some of the Topics Getting NTFA NFTs and claiming your gold Dystopian Future NFTs Wearables and bonuses The efficacy of other precious metals Supporting more artists Why the name “Never Touch Fiat Again” The power of gold Penguin excitedly introduces three epic NFTs created with support from artists LKH, Mlibty and Misanth - all transformable, complete with music and 3D graphics, and featuring dystopian future themes. He talks about the future of NTFA, dreaming of streamlining the process of onboarding new artists and getting their work backed by real world assets. When asked where the name NTFA came from, Penguin confesses that he loves the name. “The idea is that banks have a phobia of crypto, but they're never going to close your account for selling gold.” Penguin is a revolutionary and has been consistently burning fiat and moving towards all-crypto over the last several years. With NTFA, there's a way to exit crypto to gold without any off ramps or contact with the USD.
