They discuss why birth rates are collapsing, why fewer young people are forming relationships, and how housing costs, social media, and remote work are changing the path to adulthood. Plus: Hyperbaric chambers, red-light therapy, mRNA, cancer research, and the surprising importance of boredom and friction. Kara Swisher is a veteran tech journalist, host of the Pivot podcast with Scott Galloway, and one of the most influential voices covering the intersection of technology and power. Her new CNN documentary series, Kara Swisher Wants to Live Forever, takes on the longevity industry — separating genuine medical breakthroughs from the pseudoscience being sold to anyone with a credit card and a fear of aging. Kara Swisher has been covering Silicon Valley longer than most of its billionaires have been rich — and she's watched them turn a simple fear of death into a multi-billion dollar industry of expensive, largely unproven interventions. After her own stroke at 49, she decided to investigate: what actually works, what's a grift, and what does the science really say about living longer? The result is a new CNN documentary series that's part BS-detector, part genuinely hopeful look at the medical breakthroughs that could change everything. This conversation covers both. We talked about: Why biohacking culture is basically a men's eating disorder dressed up as science Bryan Johnson, Peter Attia, and what Silicon Valley gets catastrophically wrong about longevity The supplements, therapies, and interventions that are mostly hype (peptides, hyperbaric chambers, red light therapy, full-body scans) What VO2 max actually measures — and why it's one of the few metrics worth tracking GLP-1 drugs: the real promise behind the Ozempic headlines The mRNA breakthroughs that could produce a pancreatic cancer vaccine Why your relationships are a more powerful longevity drug than anything you can buy The case for boredom, friction, and putting your phone down How thinking about death every day can make you happier and less afraid Get the 10% with Dan Harris app here Sign up for Dan's free newsletter here Follow Dan on social: Instagram, TikTok Subscribe to our YouTube Channel This episode is sponsored by: Eight Sleep: Use code DanHarris at eightsleep.com/danharris for up to $350 off the Pod 5, with a 30-day trial if it's not for you. ** PLEASE SUBSCRIBE ** Featured in Jam Fans Forum Episode 14: This is the show in which expert panelists provide their top picks in various funk music categories. This time around, we are riding the love rollercoaster into the tight, sticky and fiery funk of one of the greatest bands of ever – the mighty Ohio Players! We're taking on the painful and pleasurable mission of choosing their five all-time best songs to deliver a reasonably definitive top 20. The goal is objectivity, but as with all the Jam Fan shows, some subjectivity is inevitable. It all adds up to another Day-ton in the office, and a ton of fun! Joining host Scott "DR GX" Goldfine are three esteemed Jam Fans: Music & culture journalist and liner notes master A. Scott Galloway; music scholar, author and History of Funk radio show host Rickey Vincent; Stockholm-based radio broadcaster, DJ and funk/soul enthusiast promoting the music since the mid-1980s, Maria Granditsky, a.k.a. Miss Funkyflyy. Thanks to all of them for keeping the funk alive! Panelists' Picks Ground Rules: - Pick your 5 best Ohio Players songs - OPs must be the credited artist; no solo works or collaborations - Panelists reveal their picks one at a time, explain why and allow others to react. - Picks are not shared ahead of time, so everyone experiences the reveals together. - Panelists compile alternates in case someone else names the same pick first. Thus, we will end up with 20 picks in total! - Picks may be shared in random or non-chronological order. - Picks may be based more on personal preference than historical context. Go to https://wp.me/p77e8T-3Om to listen to and buy this episode's 20 top Ohio Players songs. Be sure to like, comment, share and subscribe – and let us know other categories you would like to see covered. Also, share your own choices for the 5 Ohio Players Songs of All Time.

My favourite quote is that the key to humanity's survival is and always has been kindness, consideration, and cooperation.
A Portfolio Checklist Extra adásában hatodik alkalommal beszélgetünk az amerikai felsőoktatás elitjébe tartozó Borostyán Ligába, angolul Ivy League-be tartozó egyetemek magyar diákjaival. Leave an Amazon Rating or Review for my New York Times Bestselling book, Make Money Easy! Check out the full episode: https://greatness.lnk.to/1636DM Scott Galloway isn't here to make you comfortable. His argument: women get held to the same career standards as men, but career success doesn't pay out the same way romantically. A male law partner who's barely charming still finds a spouse. The math doesn't work the same for women. Then there's his rule for his sons. Split the check with someone, and you've signaled something no amount of chemistry fixes later. The counter-intuitive part: men are the ones who actually need relationships more. Widowers suffer. Widows often thrive. The data is clear on this. Galloway isn't saying women should stay home. He's saying the game is rigged and nobody's being honest about it. In today's episode I'm talking about money, AI, and why so many women still don't feel financially safe, even when they're earning well.I share what's been lighting me up this week: a fascinating conversation with Alex Zeck inside HDx on how we're sold health narratives that don't hold up to scrutiny, why I'm building female-led companies into my AI investing criteria, and what the Scott Galloway episode on Diary of a CEO got so right about the fear-mongering around AI. I also get real about something that happened in my own home this week that reminded me how often women are walking around feeling unsafe, and how money and AI are two of the most practical tools we have to change that. And I talk about perseverance: what it actually takes to build a business, and why determination is the thing most people underestimate. If you've ever felt financially capable but still financially unsafe, this one's for you.I trust you will get what you need from this episode, and make sure you come let me know how it resonated with you on instagram @the_human_design_coachBig love,MxxJoin the waitlist for the Money, AI and Human Design Mastermind: https://www.emmadunwoody.com/money-mastermind-waitlistAs mentioned: Diary of The CEO episode with Scott Galloway-https://podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/scott-galloway-ai-wasnt-built-for-you-the-rich-dont/id1291423644?i=1000765979158OTHER RESOURCESWant more on Human Design? 2025, NYT bestseller) — analyse macrosociale du décrochage masculinRichard Reeves, Of Boys and Men (2022) — décrochage scolaire et économique des hommesJonathan Haidt, The Anxious Generation (2024) — impact des réseaux sociaux sur la génération ZNiobe Way, Deep Secrets: Boys' Friendships and the Crisis of Connection — évolution des amitiés masculinesGuillaume Valet, La fabrique du muscle — capitalisme des vulnérabilités et fitnessFrancis Dupuis-Déry, La crise de la masculinité — politique et genreDavid Deida, The Way of the Superior Man — mentionné comme symptôme d'une tendance masculiniste dans l'entourage de GregÉtudes académiquesRodríguez et al. Scott Galloway and Jessica Tarlov sit down with Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) to unpack a volatile political moment in Washington. In the wake of the attempted assassination at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, Republicans and President Trump are blaming Democrats for fueling political violence — while critics argue the response is part of a familiar cycle of partisan escalation, and that President Trump has espoused even more egregious rhetoric throughout his presidency. At the same time, Congress is debating a controversial proposal to fast-track Trump's $400 million White House ballroom, exposing new divisions over spending, security, and priorities inside the GOP. The conversation also turns to free speech and media backlash, as Jimmy Kimmel faces renewed pressure from the Trump camp following a controversial joke that aired just days before the attack. Senator Paul weighs in on political responsibility, party loyalty, rising polarization, and what these flashpoints reveal about the state of the Republican Party heading into the midterms and 2028. Just hours before a fragile ceasefire deadline, tensions between the U.S. and Iran are escalating — and the political fallout at home is already taking shape. Scott Galloway and Jessica Tarlov sit down with Ben Shapiro, one of the most influential voices on the right, who has called this the “single bravest foreign policy move” of his lifetime. But as the risk of a prolonged conflict grows, so do the stakes: for American power, for President Trump, and for the future of the Republican Party. They press Shapiro on whether this risks becoming the kind of “forever war” Republicans once opposed, what a realistic definition of “winning” actually looks like, and how this moment could reshape the GOP heading into 2028. They also dive into the fractures emerging inside the conservative movement — from Tucker Carlson and the right-wing media ecosystem to the growing divide among younger Republicans. In this mashup episode, I brought together some incredibly powerful voices to challenge the way you think about your mindset, your habits, and ultimately your life. You're going to hear from Stephen Scoggins, Jon Gordon, Titus O'Neil, Rich Diviney, and Scott Galloway, and every one of them delivers a different angle on what it really takes to break through and become the person you were meant to be. This is not surface-level motivation. This is about confronting the truth of where you are and deciding to rise anyway. Stephen Scoggins shares how your past does not disqualify you, but it can trap you if you let it define your identity. Jon Gordon brings the energy and reminds you that positivity is not naive, it is a competitive advantage. Titus O'Neil opens up about pain, adversity, and choosing to turn your struggles into purpose. Rich Diviney breaks down the idea that elite performance is built through preparation and discipline long before the moment arrives. And Scott Galloway gives you a real-world perspective on discipline, choices, and the trade-offs required to build a meaningful life. Every conversation points back to one thing. You have more control than you think, but you have to take it. I also get real with you in this episode about the internal battles that most people never talk about. The comparison game, the need for approval, and the subtle ways we sabotage our own happiness and progress. If you are constantly measuring yourself against others, you are draining your energy and robbing yourself of fulfillment. That is one of the most dangerous weapons you can use against yourself, and most people don't even realize they are doing it. We also dig into the truth about what actually kills dreams. It is not a lack of talent. It is not even failure. It is discouragement, distraction, and the slow drift away from your purpose. When you become aware of those forces, they begin to lose their power over you. That awareness is where your breakthrough starts. That is where you take your life back. This episode is a wake-up call. You were not born to live average. You were not meant to play small or sit on the sidelines of your own life. You are in a race to become the best version of yourself, and every decision you make is either moving you closer or further away. It is time to get intentional. It is time to raise your standard. It is time to max out. Key Takeaways: Why your past only has power if you attach your identity to it How positivity and energy can become your greatest competitive edge The hidden danger of comparison and how it steals your happiness The real reason most people fall short of their potential How elite performers build confidence through preparation and discipline Why awareness is the first step to breaking negative patterns The importance of taking control of your life instead of drifting through it
