Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt joins The Winston Marshall Show for a no-holds-barred conversation on the decay of American institutions—from Soros-backed prosecutors to Big Tech censorship.Schmitt recounts his early battles against "taxation by citation" in Ferguson, exposing how local bureaucrats turned traffic tickets into a cash cow—and how that injustice sparked bipartisan reform. He lifts the lid on the Soros NGO network, the rise of activist judges, and the collapse of law and order in cities like St. Louis, where violent crime surged while prosecutors turned a blind eye.The conversation turns to Missouri v. Biden, where Schmitt helped expose government coordination with social media giants to silence dissenting voices on COVID, vaccines, and lockdowns. He blasts the Biden administration's Disinformation Governance Board as “Orwellian,” and warns that the First Amendment is on life support. All this—free speech under siege, activist judges, USAID scandals, and the $2 trillion debt crisis no one wants to talk about… #trump #courts #america -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------To see more exclusive content and interviews consider subscribing to my substack here: https://www.winstonmarshall.co.uk/-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------FOLLOW ME ON SOCIAL MEDIA:Substack: https://www.winstonmarshall.co.uk/X: https://twitter.com/mrwinmarshallInsta: https://www.instagram.com/winstonmarshallLinktree: https://linktr.ee/winstonmarshall----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Chapters0:00 Introduction1:31 Senator Eric Schmidt's Political Journey2:40 Racial Tensions and the Role of NGOs8:10 Impact of the 2020 Protests and Riots16:10 Activist Judges and the Role of the Supreme Court24:14 The Missouri vs. Biden Lawsuit34:13 USAID and the De-Funding Movement40:48 The Economic Impact of Government Spending42:54 Foreign Policy and American Realism1:01:07 The Role of NGOs in Censorship and Disinformation1:03:32 The Future of American Politics and Policy Hosted on Acast. Today, we're discussing the tragic murder of Austin Metcalf — a case that's not just heartbreaking but deeply revealing of a larger cultural crisis we need to address head-on. I'll be sharing my raw thoughts on what happened, and more importantly, having the uncomfortable (but necessary) conversation surrounding crime statistics in the black community. If we're ever going to see real change — fewer senseless killings, safer neighborhoods, and stronger families — then we have to stop tiptoeing around the truth. It's time to talk about why these patterns keep repeating and what cultural shifts must happen to break the toxic and deadly cycle. This isn't about hate — it's about accountability, truth, and the fight for life, stability, and genuine justice.—https://policecoffee.com/?gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAACG7qmLTSF8TidU6uJpGkHMYzxsnd&gclid=Cj0KCQjwqcO_BhDaARIsACz62vPh4GA_6w_PdX8w4PW0sRhPD76KOyhYBmiEOdpiLXHP1G10c9kaPMEaAkK-EALw_wcB

True Crime Tuesday Presents: When Cicadas Cry: Murder, Death Row & Racial Tensions in The Deep South with Author, Caroline Cleveland! In WHEN CICADAS CRY, Zach Stander, a young lawyer with a checkered past, gets a phone call that will change his life. It's Elijah Jenkins, an older Black man he met while giving a one-day free legal clinic in rural Colleton County. A white woman has been bludgeoned to death with an altar cross at the New Hope Baptist Church out on Cicada Road. Eli's grandson Samuel was arrested after authorities found him kneeling over her body, covered in blood. Eli insists his grandson is innocent and begs Zach to take on his defense. The low country is fraught with racial tension, the victim's family has deep roots in the community, and the local solicitor is powerful and influential. Zach's life is already in shambles from his past mistakes, and he has reservations about taking on such high odds. But when Addie Stone, a private investigator—and Zach's fiancée—convinces him that saving young Sam might be the only path to redemption, Zach gathers his courage. At the same time, Addie investigates a local cold case—two young women were murdered on quiet Edisto Beach, an hour southeast of Walterboro. The killer left no trace, and thirty-four years later, their deaths are still unsolved. As Addie sifts through the evidence, she wonders if there might be a connection to the present-day murder. So many long-buried secrets…would someone kill again to keep them? Breitbart News editor and best-selling author Jerome Hudson joins me to discuss the racial tension among the Republican Party and various conservative voices, emphasizing the need to stay focused on the main thing rather than fighting over minor issues. We talk about how today's racial-political climate may—or may not—affect outreach to black voters, many of whom are moving toward former President Donald Trump. Trump is a unique "entity" who can handle himself in that regard, Hudson believes. Hear his thoughts about that. He dives into the disaster of the Democratic Party, including its history of racism and its negative impact on education, economics, and freedom in general. The author of two books, including "50 Things They Don't Want You to Know About Trump," Hudson lets us in on who "they" are and shares a couple of those "things." In this week's conversation between Dr. James Emery White and co-host Alexis Drye, they discuss the theology of race - human creation - and the evil that is racism. A few years ago, Dr. White delivered a series at Mecklenburg Community Church titled “Woke” with three installments on race, racism and civility. You can find that series in both .mp3 and .pdf formats HERE. Episode Links While there are not many people who think of themselves as racist, a shadow racism can certainly be found in today's culture. For more on that, you can click HERE to read a blog by Dr. White titled “Shadow Racism.” And for pastors and church leaders listening who would want to do an in-depth teaching on race and racism, you can check out our “Going Forward: Next Steps” pastor's package. This includes not only the “Woke” series, but also the discussion with members of Meck following the death of George Floyd. Dr. White also referenced Why We Can't Wait (Letter from a Birmingham Jail) by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. If you've never taken the time to read it, you really should. Another book he mentioned was Not the Way It's Supposed to Be: A Breviary of Sin by Cornelius Platinga on the idea of “shalom” - finding peace and the human community that God desires for us to be. For those of you who are new to Church & Culture, we'd love to invite you to subscribe (for free of course) to the twice-weekly Church & Culture blog and check out the Daily Headline News - a collection of headlines from around the globe each weekday.

Today's podcast guest, Kendall Mariah Tart, says she wants to authentically and unapologetically engage in conversations that are sometimes really uncomfortable, so we go there in this episode! Kendall is a self-described “modern southern housewife” with a husband in the active military and a beautiful adopted daughter who is Black. As a blonde-haired white woman in America, Kendall has navigated some hard things in her parenting journey, so we talk about what it looks like to parent a child outside of your race. It's all about honoring them and their humanity. Kendall has some bold thoughts and I appreciate her perspective, curiosity, and convictions so very much. Welcome to Crawlspace. In this episode Tim Pilleri & Lance Reenstierna dig deeper into The Combat Zone with author and journalist, Jan Brogan. The Combat Zone was an area official sanctioned to contain the influx of pornography, strip venues and adult entertainment that was spreading across the nation in the 1970's. All of this boiled over in November of 1976 with the murder of Harvard football player, Andrew Puopolo. Katherine shares her thoughts on the recent racially motivated hate crime shooting of three black people in Florida at a Dollar General store. The shooter, a white supremacist, left racist writings and used racial slurs before killing himself. This crime is just the latest in a series of racist attacks amid the rise in hate crimes against black people in the USA. Katherine discusses the real dangers of rising racial tensions in the country and calls for action to stop hate-motivated violence. You may have noticed extra episodes on the last three Mondays. The opening of today's show is all about racial tensions and diversity and why these topics seem so enflamed and controversial in modern America. Are things really as bad for black people as the mainstream media portrays? Why are there now more and more calls to segregate the races and do things like "give black folks their own states". Mike Slater explores all of this and more. After that, Slater welcomes country music icon Lee Greenwood (of "God Bless the USA" fame) onto the program to talk about the continual success of "Rich Men North of Richmond" by Anthony Oliver and why his genre of music is still so resonant with millions of people across this great nation.

Summertime, summertime, sum-sum-sum of the time you should skip traveling to places where your race is an indignity to the state. I'm talking about Florida, a usual suspect in the denial of basic human rights, but the entire United States is guilty of denying that there's a "race problem" in the country of Washington and Lincoln, and then with a stubborn attitude, refusing to ameliorate the societal ills created by our "race problem." If there's one thing we're gonna do, it's get in our own way. The sources used in this episode: "NAACP Issues Travel Advisory for Florida." May 20, 2023. The last 2 years have been difficult for many church-going Christians in America. The reasons are many but a few contributing factors could be linked to A PANDEMIC, RACIAL TENSIONS, AND PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION ALL MIXED UP IN ONE. :) So much hurt over the past 2 years and many church-loving Christians now feel homeless… This episode isn't one to give you answers as much as it is to let you know where and how I've been hurt and how I have approached my own healing. It's not about convincing anyone to go to church. I just want you to be seen. To have hope that just maybe you can heal… Because I believe you can.
