A dynamic performer with an unmistakable presence, Max has built a reputation for his signature sound, one defined by real instrumentation, compelling storytelling, and an effortless ability to traverse between anthemic pop- rock and soulful intimacy. His music has resonated deeply with audiences, earning him a Top 10 Mainstream AC Radio hit, with his single Good Time becoming the #1 Most Added Track across all formats and the highest- charting fully independent release on the AC Radio Charts. His debut album 17 further cemented his status as a breakout artist.  While Max's music career continues to thrive, his artistic ambitions have extended to the screen. Following years of dedication to his craft, Max is set to make his biggest acting debut yet in the highly anticipated feature film Juliet & Romeo. Starring alongside Hollywood icons Rebel Wilson, Jason Isaacs, Rupert Everett, and Rupert Graves, Max takes on the pivotal role of Benvolio in this bold and reimagined pop musical adaptation of Shakespeare's timeless tragedy. The movie begins it run in Theaters May 9th. The film, set in medieval times, has beenmodernized with a fresh pop soundtrack (Evan Kidd Bogart, Justin Gray), bringing a contemporary energy which shapes the film's narrative and where Max lends his melodic voice.    Want to watch: YouTube Meisterkhan Pod (Please Subscribe)

“Don't you agree that, on one's first visit to Florence, one must have a room with a view?” We watched the Merchant Ivory 1985 classic "A Room with a View" with our friend Rufino Cabang and excuse us as we faint in the arms of Julian Sands. Breaking American audiences to actors like Helena Bonham Carter, Julian Sands, Daniel Day Lewis, and  Rupert Graves this movie was a huge cross over success in American that was nominated for eight Academy Awards, and won for its adaptation for the screen by Ruth Prater Jhabvala. 20 year-old Helena looks like a porcelain doll,  swoon worthy men, and Maggie Smith is also here to talk some hot goss with Judi Dench. What more could you want in a costume drama! Also, the perfect cover for a movie to rent for young gay boys across the world, that features a famous skinny dipping scene with Julian Sands, Rupert Graves, and Simon Callow stripping down to their birthday suits for a dip. "A Room with a View" helped usher in the success of movies like Maurice, Remains of the Day, and Howard's End much to excitement of English Lit nerds, and all the boys who were "a joy to have in class."  Thanks for listening and don't forget to subscribe, rate and review us on Apple Podcasts! www.patreon.com/moviesthatmadeusgay Facebook/Instagram: @moviesthatmadeusgay Twitter: @MTMUGPod Scott Youngbauer: Twitter @oscarscott / Instagram @scottyoungballer Peter Lozano: Twitter/Instagram @peterlasagna

My Husband Made Me Do It

Why yes! We are watching the 2020 film adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma this week! And yes, we were all shocked that Lydea agreed to watch it. Anya Taylor-Joy stars as Emma, a "handsome, clever and rich" young woman who tries her hand at matchmaking. She means well, but she nearly ruins a friend's chance at happiness and fails to recognize her own until it's impossible not to cause hurt feelings. Johnny Flynn (Mr. Knightly) and Mia Goth (Harriet) also star in this sumptuous and beautifully shot film.Email us at MadeMePodcast@gmail.comFind us on:Facebook: www.facebook.com/MadeMePodcastInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/myhusbandmademedoit/ Podcast artwork by Anna Eggleton of Treehouse Lettering & Design: https://www.treehouseletteringanddesign.com/

This week we're reviewing THREE children's movies starring Kate Winslet! The first is Pride, a BBC TV movie released in 2004. This movie boasts a large cast with Helen Mirren, Rupert Graves, Martin Freeman, and Robbie Coltrane starring alongside Kate! While this just seems like a lackluster attempt at recreating The Lion King, we did love seeing real nature shots and hearing about how they made this live-action movie. The second movie is The Fox and the Child featuring those two titular characters and no one else in a feel-good kids movie that Anne describes as "like a hug."Last AND (spoiler alert) least of the day is the 2019 animated film Swift that just made us wonder why Willem Dafoe and Kate Winslet agreed to be in it. Tune in for this 3-for-1 episode to find out how these movies rank vs. all 46 Kate Winslet movies! WebsiteInstagramMerch Support the show

Intensiv exponering i TV? Nearly thirty years after his parents exchanged their wedding vows, Prince William walked down the aisle at Westminster Abbey with his new bride.Timeline Tapes is the show that brings you iconic documentaries, in podcast form. The documentaries are made for TV so our host Nate Fisher will be filling in any blanks to make sure you don't miss a thing.'My Mother Diana' looks at how Diana’s life, her relationship with the House of Windsor, the media and the public have shaped her eldest son, Prince William. When a twenty year-old Lady Diana Spencer married Prince Charles, the heir to the throne, their wedding at St Paul’s was watched by billions; it was the last great royal wedding to galvanise the British public. But that relationship would develop into a romantic tragedy, whose effects would be more profound than anyone could have imagined. In his marriage to Kate Middleton, Prince William is entering into a new and independent stage of his life…a life in which his mothers influence and presence appear centre-stage and ever-present.. It is easy to forget that William’s formative years were not the idyll with the ’Princess of People’s Hearts’…rather they took place in the midst of a vicious divorce battle. William’s loyalties divided and fought over during the War of the Wales.‘My Mother Diana’ is the story of Charles and Diana's marriage from a new and revealing point of view. It’s the story of how their marriage shaped William. It explores the effect of his mother’s relationships, the tell-all book she collaborated on with Andrew Morton, the effects of her Panorama interview and William's reaction to his father’s relationship with Camilla. On the surface William appears to be a product of the old order, groomed by the House of Windsor. But William is the son of Diana – who transcended celebrity and transformed the monarchy. This film seeks to understand William by exploring his relationship with his mother and examines where William was as key moments of her later life played out; because what she went through made him who he is today Why did William propose using his mother’s engagement ring? And what does it tell us about this future King and the legacy of his mother Diana? Fourteen years after her death Diana’s influence appears undiminished. But will William be the King Diana wished him to be?The documentary My Mother Diana was licensed by DRG to Little Dot Studios. You can find more from us on:https://www.youtube.com/timelinechannelhttps://www.facebook.com/timelineWHhttps://www.instagram.com/timelineWHIf you would like to get in touch with the show, email us at timeline@littledostudios.com See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

In this episode, I talk about James Ivory's 1987 film, "Maurice." It's based on the novel of the same name by E.M. Forster. It's set in 1910 and tells the story of Maurice Hall, a young man who attends Cambridge University and falls in love with Clive Durham. The film follows them over several years, tracing the turmoil of their relationship. Clive eventually marries, and Maurice finds love with Alec Scudder, a man who works on Clive's estate. Made and released in the 1980s, at the height of the AIDS epidemic, "Maurice" is a film that celebrates and affirms queer love. It features brilliant performances by James Wilby, Hugh Grant, and Rupert Graves, who all were deeply committed to their roles. For this episode, I talk about E.M. Via The Wall Street Journal

Native is a low budget sci-fi starring Rupert Graves and Ella Kendrick. It was shot during the first half of July 2014 and Britflicks visited the Dagenham set and spoke with producers, the director, co-writers and work experience about making a movie. Part 1 - Neil Atkinson (co-writer/producer) and Jim Fitzsimmons (producer) Part 2 - Daniel Fitzsimmon (Director/co-writer Part 3/4 - Tales from some of the work experience amongst the crew Part 5 - Neil Atkinson - talking more specifically about the writing process Part 6 - Jen Handorf (producer) This really is a masterclass in low budget film making. For producers and directors it's about being creative to realise your cinematic ambitions. For writers there's real insight into what writing to budget means and how those limits you impose on yourself can be liberating and challenge your imagination. We look forward to seeing and reviewing the finished film in the near future. Intro/Outro music:

Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes has caused a lot of controversy with Sherlockians and Holmesians alike, so Babes: Curly, Kafers, Ardy, and Taylor take it on. Why they love it, what they don't love about it... and why is the Bromance JUST SO AMAZING?! We welcome new BSB Taylor into the crew, rescue Ardy from Skype Purgatory, weigh in on Rachel McAdams' Irene Adler, and let you know about some fabulous things including a Rupert Graves shot glass and a bunch of Scots that are making Sherlock Holmes headway of their own. It's Episode 5 and it's less than an hour long!! Also listen to the hauntingly beautiful Ghosts of Baker Street by Sam Hoare at the end. It's quite lovely.   The Sherlock Holmes Society of Scotland (The Self Important Scotland Yarders) can be found and Barry's blog is here! Sam Hoare: I'm 16, from Oxford, UK. I sing, and have done basically since I discovered the function of vocal chords, and I've written song since I could hold a pencil. I play the guitar (self taught) and I write my own songs, an equal mix between fandom and original. I write stuff for Doctor Who, Sherlock and Harry Potter. They're basically my life. I love Sherlock, and the original Sherlock Holmes books, and have found that the fandom has very quickly become my favourite of all time, because the people are so creative and lovely, and so supportive of whatever random creation I throw at them to give opinions on. And, I hope to definitely move out to London and attempt to make a career out of writing and performing my own songs, be them about silly things that I become obsessed with or real, serious musician things.
