Esto es un extracto de la tertulia de AUTOFM que se emite todos los jueves en Onda Cero. Franco Colapinto, nacido el 27 de mayo de 2003 en Pilar, Buenos Aires, tiene también nacionalidad italiana por parte de su familia. Su carrera en el automovilismo comenzó desde muy joven, como es común entre pilotos de Fórmula 1, destacándose inicialmente en el karting. En 2016 ganó el campeonato nacional prejúnior de karting y comenzó a competir a nivel internacional. Su primer gran logro internacional fue en 2018, cuando ganó en la disciplina de karts en los Juegos Olímpicos de la Juventud en Buenos Aires. Ese mismo año debutó en monoplazas en la Fórmula 4 Española con el equipo Drivex. Uno de los hitos más importantes en su carrera ocurrió en 2023, cuando se unió a la Academia de Pilotos de Williams, un programa de la escudería británica para desarrollar jóvenes talentos. Esta academia ha producido pilotos como Lance Stroll, Nicholas Latifi y Logan Sargeant. Su inclusión en este programa marcó un punto clave para su futuro en la Fórmula 1. Trayectoria hacia la F1: Franco Colapinto avanzó rápidamente en las categorías de automovilismo. En 2019 ganó el Campeonato de España de Fórmula 4, lo que lo puso en el radar de equipos importantes. En 2020 fue tercero en la Toyota Racing Series y en la Eurocopa de Fórmula Renault. Sa carrière de sportif débute très tôt, dès l'âge de 5 ans, sur les skis où il va apprendre les bases de la glisse. Il développe alors une capacité d'adaptation qui va lui servir pour son activité actuelle : pilote automobile. En effet, après avoir participé à de nombreuses compétitions de ski, il demande à ses parents de tester le karting, en 2016, dès l'âge de 12 ans. Au fil de ses courses, il est aux prises avec des pilotes comme Isack Hadjar, Sami Meguetounif ou Victor Bernier mais il décide alors de se lancer dans le grand bain de l'endurance, sans passer par la monoplace, en catégorie LMP3 avec Ligier en 2020. L'année suivante, il roule en Michelin Le Mans Cup et en Asian Le Mans Series, où il décroche son premier titre avec l'équipe CD Sport. En 2022, toujours sur Ligier JSP320, il effectue ses grands débuts en European Le Mans Series. Plusieurs podiums et victoires vont récompenser ses efforts. Born in Conegliano, in the province of Treviso, Alessandro Bressan started karting at the age of 8 and a move later in life to the United States has led him to a career into car racing. Josh has returned from three years in South East Asia where he placed third in the Asian Le Mans Series alongside setting up a young drivers development program. Having driven in almost every category available in Australia in his formative years, Josh has now returned to Australia where he has teamed up with Volante Rosso Motorsport to take on the Carrera Cup. Josh commenced his successful career in motorsport at age 11, and further demonstrated enormous commitment to his motorsport career to leave family and friends behind to join a factory go-kart team in Europe at 16. Competing at the highest level of world karting in Italy, Josh's abilities earned him a spot in the American scene as he progressed into car racing in the USF2000 series. This led to Josh competing in the 2004 Toyota Atlantic Championship with the support of ChampCar owner Kevin Kalkhoven.
