More about Alan Oppenheimer: Alan Oppenheimer is recognized as the voice of many characters, often for Filmation in the 1970s and 1980s, such as Mighty Mouse, Ming the Merciless on Flash Gordon, the Overlord on BlackStar, and Skeletor, Man-At-Arms and Mer-Man from Filmation's 1980s cartoon He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Other notable voice roles include Thundarr the Barbarian, Vanity on The Smurfs, Rhinokey and Crock from The Wuzzles and Falkor, Gmork, Rockbiter, and the Narrator from 1984's The NeverEnding Story. In the early 1990s, Oppenheimer was the voice of Merlin in The Legend of Prince Valiant. He also performed various supporting roles in various incarnations of Scooby Doo. He took over the voice of Roger Smith's butler Norman Burg in the second season of The Big O. Oppenheimer also worked on The Transformers, most notably as two contrasting characters, the pacifist Beachcomber and the bellicose Warpath.. He was the voice of Alistair Crane on the soap opera Passions. Oppenheimer recently provided the voice of the Scientist for the film “9.” Oppenheimer's repertoire also includes video games, voicing Dr. Piotr Ivanovich in Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix, Prometheus in God of War II and Jandor the Airship Captain in Nox. In Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, he spoke the part of Harold, an ancient mutated survivor of nuclear holocaust who has appeared in four of the Fallout series games. Oppenheimer was Dr. Rudy Wells in the Six Million Dollar Man. He was nominated for an Emmy for ‘MURPHY BROWN' and starred in many TV shows and films, including LITTLE BIG MAN, THE HINDENBURG, FREAKY FRIDAY. He also co-starred on Broadway as Cecil B. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Review Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is het vierde deel in de magische Harry Potter-reeks van J.K. Rowling. In dit avontuur wordt Harry onverwacht geselecteerd om deel te nemen aan het gevaarlijke Toverschool Toernooi, een prestigieuze competitie tussen drie toverscholen. Hoewel Harry te jong is om mee te doen, wordt zijn naam op mysterieuze wijze uit de Vuurbeker getrokken, wat tot grote ophef leidt. Has Masters of the Universe EVER “had the power”? No matter how high He-Man held his sword, the franchise has struggled to channel the Power of Grayskull. Between bargain-basement animation, absurdly dumbed-down characters and conflicts, and a big-screen adaptation made from a different IP's rewritten script, MOTU has never lived up to its toy line's wild success. It's a blast from the past and we are rereleasing episode #9 and man oh He-Man, what an episode it is! Let us treat you to the 1987 epic, Masters of the Universe. Dolph Lundgren and Frank Langella star in this highly contested 80's adventure, based on the action figures, NOT the cartoon. Much to our delight, we find this to be the Doctor's first ever viewing of this film, which is a treat in and of itself.    There are swords AND lasers, a hoard of Darth Vader robots, the manipulation of time and space, a questionable quartet of Eternia's meanest and baddest, a villain that would have perhaps been more at home on the Shakespearean stage than the halls of Castle Grayskull and a wee baby Courtney Cox!   The Doctor can barely contain her excitement at her first glimpse of He-Man, Snoelle really needs you to know that it's pronounced "Man-At-Arms," and we discover our Eternian counterparts. We are charmed by the antics and eye of Tiny Tawny, almost get real emotional about our parents, are most impressed by Evil-Lyn and Skeletor's verbal foreplay and introduce you to a guy we like to call, Orc Daddy. All this and so much more, on this week's Reel Fun Times!
