Today's poetry prompt was an open gate, a metaphor that allowed this poem and to come through. It could just as well be an open window overlooking Florence like this photo that Jonathan took in 2019! This was our last trip before ‘shelter-in-place' was a thing. We haven't really travelled since then and things have been on the rough side for us for quite a bit. So I am noticing that gates, windows and doors are showing up a LOT.I am still not sure what the open gate really meant for me today but it is in the exploring of it that that poems sometimes spring out. I am still on the despair and desire theme too. Maybe you will write a poem in response or your own? That is another practice, reading any poem and then using something in it, even one word or a feeling as a jumping in place. As the FX9 doesn't have a dedicated Anamorphic mode or even a Open Gate 6:5 mode like other cameras, how much do you need to crop in to remove vignetting? Is it better to use the S35 mode or 6K Full Frame mode when using 2X anamorphic lenses? Well lucky for you i've shot two projects using 2X anamorphic with the FX9 and the short answer is "It does work with limitations". The FX9's sensor is actually really large 35.7 x 18.8 mm compared to the Alexa Mini that has a Open Gate mode using it's full sensor of 28.25 x 18.17 mm. Using the FX9 in 6K FF mode you have a lot of room in post when using 2X anamorphic to maintain image fidelity, but not every anamorphic setup is going to work which I explain in this podcast episode. His work has been featured many times in The Oprah Magazine, The New York Times, and the Los Angeles Times. His first book was published in the U.K. in 1990, and as of 2014, he has published twenty two books, including four travel books, a novella, Chasing Love and Revelation, and the best-selling Ten Poems series, which began in 2001 with Ten Poems to Change Your Life and ended with the publication in 2012 of Ten Poems to Say Goodbye. What a season! For us, Conquer, the final episode of season five did not disappoint, and according to the ratings, much of America agrees with us. Conquer, The Walking Dead season five finale, once again won the night for cable with an uptick in the ratings from the previous week, and with Talking Dead coming in second. Only 181 days until October and counting.

Talking Through Conquer What a season! Although not ending on a huge cliffhanger as with the previous season's finale, the concluding episode of season five still left us with enough questions to keep us occupied and discussing throughout the long hard break between seasons. Thankfully, we didn't see any of our core cast bite the dust, but this episode still had us twisting and turning with fear for our favorite characters. There were a few plot snafus, but they were minor enough that they did not detract from our overall opinion of Conquer. We were still on the edges of our seats for the majority of this 90-minute episode. Ratings were up! For us, the final episode of season five did not disappoint, and according to the ratings, much of America agrees with us. Conquer, The Walking Dead season five finale, once again won the night for cable with an uptick in the ratings from the previous week, and with Talking Dead coming in second. Only 181 days until October and counting. Conquer got an 8.20 in the 18-49 demographic, with 15.784 million viewers, up from last week‘s 7.00 and 13.757 million viewers. Send in your feedback!
