[10:26] Sin City Cupcakes [13:43] How Lisa builds and maintains effective business relationships [17:50] The Veteran Fund and why it's a for-profit venture capital fund [26:53] The importance of mindfulness in an entrepreneur's life [34:26] Why ladies who have been in bottle service become successful when they venture into business in a different industry [37:36] How to build your resilience [43:03] Lisa's long-term vision [44:46] The main focus of the Real Rich Women and the importance of financial security [46:44] Lisa's advice to anyone who feels like they are losing themselves [48:13] How to connect with Lisa Song Sutton [48:47] Rapid Fire Round Key Takeaways: Just because you start with whatever you got your degree in doesn't mean you have to stay in it for the next forty years. It also doesn't mean your time in it was a waste of time because you can leverage the resources, knowledge, and sphere you build in your next venture. [09:13] The whole idea of networking happy hour is a little antiquated in that you don't have to spill your guts to somebody the first time you meet them and tell them all the things you do in hopes that there is a relationship that can start there. Instead, focus on establishing commonality and getting to know each other from there. [14:55] Entrepreneurship is the best way to empower anyone or any community.[17:18] “If you are used to placing yourself in uncomfortable situations at your own doing, you will have the mental stability to deal with it when it comes from an external place.” ~Lisa Song Sutton [41:55] “The more resources you have and the more blessings you have, you should be paying that forward.” ~Lisa Song Sutton [43:48] If you don't have financial security, you are seeking it in turn. And sometimes you find it in your significant other. The crazy part about that is that you lose yourself because you now have to conform to that person's preferences in exchange for security. Hey Magic Maker! I am here today to tell you that you are NOT crazy about having conversations with yourself. In today's episode, I am speaking with a firecracker of a human, Vasavi Kumar. Vasavi is a therapist + Former TV Host turned Visibility and Camera Confidence Coach, Through her Real Rich membership community and 8-week Camera Confident Accelerator program, she helps thought leaders and experts feel more confident on camera and clear in their creative process. She's been featured in the Wall Street Journal, FOX, VH1, and was a regular on NBC's Kansas City Live as the “Keepin' It Real” guru. This conversation goes in so many different ways. We talk about some of our deepest darkest secrets, her journey to sobriety, but we laugh our butts off about acting along the way. This episode is for you if you want to invite more fun into your life. A lot of us lose the childlike curiosity that we lose on our “journey to success”. The core of this conversation is true confidence. Confidence can mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people. Confidence can be quiet. It can be a deep inner knowing that you are going to be okay and have your own back. Confidence can be willingness and excitement to find the different sides of yourself and invite it into the open. We all have 3 parts of ourselves: the firefighter, the manager, and the exiled. I held on to the title “therapist” for so long, I ignored what my soul was actually telling me to lean into. From my ego clutching to the MSW after my name to throwing around my Ivy League education like it was a dart and I was hoping it would help me hit my mark, my labels kept me… small.I'm sure you have a few of those, too.(Like, “The Good Girl” or “Doctor.”)Sometimes those accomplishments (and stories) we have every right to feel proud of can also be what keeps us in a box of our own making. They come with expectations of behavior or worse… an exclusion of all the things we WANT to talk about. It's time to turn that on its head.Today on the Being Human with Vasavi Podcast, I'm sharing how I've recently shifted my business from therapist to camera confidence and self-expression, and why this shift can liberate the hell out of you, too, if it's something that calls to you.And I want to be clear here: I didn't shift to this because I wanted to make more money or anything like that. My goal is to help you go from self-conscious to self-confident. Period. An underlying theme of all the work I do is to “be you” and “get paid” as a cherry on top, which made self-expression a no-brainer, while the camera confidence aspect bridged the connection and fear gap we all seem to face.Camera is my medium, and I'll tell you all about it when you dive into today's episode.Resources and Links from your show host, Vasavi Kumar:Join the Real Rich community here: http://vasavikumar.com/membershipConnect with Vasavi on Instagram: @mynameisvasavi---------Vasavi Kumar leads the coaching industry with 10 years of experience and has helped thousands of women overcome major life obstacles to create new heights of success. The way Andrew simplifies the Law of Attraction is truly astounding, and he's more than willing to share how he used these techniques to reclaim his finances, his love life, and his health. We discussed the truth about whether you actually need to believe in the Law Of Attraction for it to work (Spoiler alert: you DON'T, and Andrew will explain why), The ONE piece of information you may be missing if the Law of Attraction hasn't been working for you, and so much more. This episode is so full of actionable tips and science-backed reasonings for the use of the Law of Attraction that I can't even begin to describe it all in these shownotes. Our discussion ranged from what was left out of the well-known work, The Secret to how we can interrupt negative realities and raise our vibration. Today's episode of The Being Human Podcast I'm talking with Susanna Medrano, an amazing friend and client of mine who has been in sales for a very long time. I wanted to speak to her because as someone who has been a top national sales person, she knows how to sell very well, and one thing we're talking about today is authenticity. When we think of selling, it's often a sleazy car salesman who just wants your money. It makes us feel icky and we run away screaming, avoiding it as much as possible. The truth is that if you don't sell, you don't have a business, so Susanna and I get deep in today's episode about how to make this feel more natural. Listen because you get to observe some role play between us and see how she actually does it in the most empathic way possible.Resources and Links from the Show: Take my FREE quiz to find out how well you know yourself and where to start using that to skyrocket your biz success: https://www.vasavikumar.com/takethequizJoin the Real Rich community here: http://vasavikumar.com/membershipConnect with Vasavi on Instagram: @mynameisvasaviKey moments to tune in for:[3:42] Why Susanna sells and true authentic sales in your business[9:49] The different types of objections you will face and how to handle them[18:07] How to handle time objections in real life[27:56] The 3 P's of sales that drive it home and how to handle the money objection[35:21] Shifting your perspective on persistence in sales conversations---------Vasavi Kumar leads the coaching industry with 10 years of experience and has helped thousands of women overcome major life obstacles to create new heights of success. Real Rich is working on what he describes as spiritually changing music a step away from his single Real Rich produced by Bambino in 2015 and Lifestyle Rich, the collaboration with Teetimus on the Claims Record label in 2016.Now his catalogue boasts tracks like Stronger and River Kingdom."I cannot say what I am putting out is dancehall or reggae alone because I can go overseas and do hip hop or I can meet up with Sizzla and do a nice culture song. I am all for anything that feels right and great," he said. "But for now, I want to get my songs as Real Rich out there before I start to collaborate again."Although the image is not far from what his audience is used to, Real Rich revealed that he has made a few lifestyle changes as well. "I don't drink liquor anymore (three months and counting). Sometimes is like a war with my inner self to buy a bottle of Hennessy when I go to a party, and I have not had meat for about five months," he shared. He also said that he restricts social media use when he feels like it is taking the attention from things like praying in the morning.     Featured Video       Other Entertainment Stories

Hello, dear listeners! We're joined again by the hilarious duo of Real Rich and Dub to talk about kind of pirate, Albert Hicks. After a pretty not so great childhood, he went on to live the life from that old joke about the army. Travel to exotic, distant lands where you'll meet exciting, unusual people, and kill them. Dude was legitimately a crazy person, but man was he fun. Also here's a poll for anybody who reads this, is "monkey jacket" racist? What say ye, dear listeners? Enjoy!
