That Mariner game wore us out and cost us precious sleep! The Mariners staged a 9th inning comeback to tie the game and send it to extra innings, making us think that this could be a turning point in the season that we will look back at remember fondly. Instead, the Diamondbacks walked it off in the 11th inning on a Josh Naylor grand slam. Dom Canzone was the 9th inning hero on his first game back with the team. This team isn't doing the little things and it's costing them greatly. :30- Mariners Morning After Last night was a roller coaster after the offense struggled to get runs until the 9th inning. Emerson Hancock went 5 innings and gave up just 2 runs and Dom Canzone came through with a game-tying homerun in the 9th inning, but that's all the Mariners could manage and Josh Naylor walked it off for the D-Backs in the 11th. :45- We began our Seahawks One Series yesterday with Gregg Bell giving us his thoughts on Sam Darnold and what the Seahawks might be hoping for from the newcomer.

In this comprehensive deep dive, Dr. Tony Ebel explores PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections) and PANS from a neurologically-focused perspective. Drawing from his extensive clinical experience treating hundreds of PANDAS cases, Dr. Ebel reveals why traditional biomedical and functional medicine approaches, while important, often fall short when not properly sequenced with nervous system care. This episode challenges the conventional understanding that PANDAS begins in the gut, instead presenting compelling evidence that nervous system dysfunction is the root cause that then triggers the cascade of gut dysbiosis, immune dysfunction, and neuroinflammation. Dr. Ebel provides a detailed clinical protocol for healing, emphasizing the critical importance of addressing nervous system regulation first before implementing intensive biomedical interventions.Key Topics & TimestampsIntroduction & PANDAS Overview [00:00:00 - 00:06:00]Definition and why PANDAS cases spike during seasonal transitionsThe "perfect storm" nature of PANDAS requiring deep understandingDr. Ebel's Background & The PANDAS Rollercoaster [00:06:00 - 00:16:00]Clinical experience with hundreds of PANDAS casesPersonal story with his daughter's toxic exposureSetting realistic expectations: peaks, valleys, and signs of true healingWhy Current Approaches Fall Short [00:16:00 - 00:25:00]Traditional medicine limitationsFunctional medicine gets "one or two layers deep" but misses root causeWhy families feel stuck despite "doing everything right"The Root Cause: Nervous System First [00:25:00 - 00:36:00]Why gut-focused approaches miss the deeper issueNervous system → gut → immune → inflammation cycleThe reality of supplement overload and extreme restrictionsFinding the Right Practitioners & Protocol [00:36:00 - 00:50:00]Importance of expert-level care from neurologically-focused providersWhy "full send" biomedical approaches too early make kids worseThe 90-180 day nervous system stabilization periodClinical Implementation: The Reset Approach [00:50:00 - 01:01:00]Pausing 80% of supplements while keeping basicsUsing INSiGHT scans to achieve neurological stabilityRealistic timeline: 1-3 year healing journey with proper sequencing-- Follow us on Socials: Instagram: @pxdocs Facebook: Dr. Tony Ebel & The PX Docs Network Youtube: The PX Docs For more information, visit PXDocs.com to read informative articles about the power of Neurologically-Focused Chiropractic Care. When the emotional waves of divorce hit unexpectedly, leaving you wondering if you've somehow failed at healing, know this: you're experiencing grief in its most natural form. Grief during divorce isn't a linear journey with neat stages and timelines—it's an unpredictable rollercoaster that can send you soaring one day and plummeting the next. The profound disconnect between what you thought your life would be and what it has become creates the perfect conditions for grief to emerge. Yet unlike the grief that follows death, divorce grief often hides in plain sight, unacknowledged by both ourselves and society. You might hear that you have no right to feel sad if you initiated the divorce, or that you should feel only relief if your marriage was difficult. These judgments only compound the pain. What you're feeling is valid. Every time you feel like you've finally found solid ground, only to be blindsided by sadness while shopping at Target or driving to work, you're not moving backward in your healing—you're moving through it exactly as you need to. There's no "right way" to grieve the end of a marriage. Understanding the predictable triggers that launch you back onto this emotional rollercoaster gives you power. Knowing what situations commonly spark these feelings—and having practical tools ready to support yourself through them—transforms your experience from overwhelming to manageable. To help you navigate this challenging terrain with more confidence, I've created a free guide; What To Expect When Divorcing: The Ultimate Guide to Dealing with the Emotional Rollercoaster of Divorce. This guide explains the science behind your experiences, identifies the five most common scenarios that set off emotional responses, and provides concrete tools to help you find your footing faster. Available as both a PDF and audio recording, it's my free gift to you. Download it today through the link in the below, and remember: your healing journey is uniquely yours, and you're doing it exactly right. To download your FREE GUIDE: "What to Expect When Divorcing: The Ultimate Guide to Dealing with the Emotional Rollercoaster of Divorce" click here. In this powerful episode, Lindsey shares a weekend experience with her son that completely reframes what recovery success looks like. Using the analogy of a terrifying roller coaster ride, she challenges the myth that recovery should feel comfortable and reveals why the hardest moments might actually be where the most important healing happens. If you've been beating yourself up because parts of recovery still feel impossible, or if you're waiting for healing to feel "good" before you fully commit, this episode will shift your entire perspective on courage, progress, and what it truly means to succeed in recovery. What You'll Learn in This Episode Why recovery doesn't have to feel good to be working effectively How to redefine recovery success beyond comfort and ease The difference between courage and confidence (and why courage is enough) Why the struggle IS the work, not a sign that you're failing Practical ways to honor your bravery even when recovery feels terrifying How to stay committed to healing when every instinct tells you to quit Key Takeaways & Quotes On Recovery Not Feeling Good (4:30) "You don't have to enjoy recovery for it to be changing your life... What if the victory isn't in loving the process, but in staying on the ride anyway?" On Redefining Success (8:45) "Every time you eat when your eating disorder says restrict - that's courage, even if it feels awful. Every time you choose rest over compulsive exercise - that's strength, even if your anxiety is through the roof." On Courage vs. Comfort (10:15) "Recovery success isn't never having eating disorder thoughts again. It's learning to recognize those thoughts and choosing not to act on them, even when they're loud and persistent." On The Hardest Moments (11:30) "When you're struggling the most, when recovery feels impossible, when every instinct is telling you to go back to your eating disorder - that's when you're doing the deepest healing work." This Week's Recovery Challenge Find one moment this week where you chose recovery despite it feeling hard. Instead of minimizing that moment or focusing on how uncomfortable it felt, say out loud: "I am proud of myself for doing that hard thing." Remember: You don't have to love recovery to be succeeding at it. You just have to keep showing up. Real Talk Recovery Reminders The struggle isn't a sign that recovery isn't working - the struggle IS the work You can be proud of your courage even when recovery doesn't feel good Discomfort doesn't equal danger - it often equals growth Your difficult recovery experience doesn't mean you're doing it wrong Building emotional strength happens in the uncomfortable moments Ready for support on your recovery roller coaster? Circle of Parks Podcast: Talking all things Walt Disney World
The landscape of Walt Disney World is shifting dramatically, with major transformations coming to every park. From Dinoland USA becoming a vibrant Central Americas-themed land featuring Encanto and Indiana Jones, to Tom Sawyer Island making way for a Cars attraction, these changes represent Disney's evolving approach to park experiences. We dive deep into what these transformations mean for the Disney experience, exploring the tension between nostalgic attractions and Disney's push toward more recognizable intellectual properties. The upcoming Villains Land behind Big Thunder Mountain promises thrilling new experiences without replacing existing attractions, while Hollywood Studios will soon feature a Monsters Inc land with an innovative suspended coaster based on the door conveyor system from the beloved film. These changes raise important questions: Is Disney losing some of its original magic by replacing unique Imagineering creations with movie tie-ins? Or is this evolution necessary to compete with Universal's Epic Universe and appeal to younger generations? We consider whether the Disney experience has improved or declined since 2019, discussing the loss of beloved perks like Magical Express and free FastPass while acknowledging the exciting new attractions on the horizon. We also share our upcoming plans to test the new Multi-Pass system during our next trip, estimating we'll spend around $500 extra for our family of four to access all premium ride options. Will the convenience justify the cost? Is the Free Dining package actually saving money when factoring in required add-ons like Park Hopper tickets? These practical considerations reflect the changing economics of a Disney vacation in today's landscape.Whether you're a Disney purist concerned about these changes or excited to experience the new attractions, this episode provides thoughtful perspective on what Walt Disney World's transformation means for different types of visitors. Not to help anyone!--to keep a recently re-unioned American population from getting too drunk, too horny, and too gambly... On day 154 of his franchise broker journey, Gresham Harkless reflects on the emotional and strategic challenges of building momentum without having closed a traditional deal. While others in his cohort have closed deals—mostly through personal connections—he's navigating the harder road of building a system that doesn't rely on warm leads. Gresham acknowledges the temptation to press clients when deals lag, especially with long lead times, like one prospect who keeps pushing meetings back months at a time—but he consciously focuses on planting seeds and celebrating small wins. Gresham recognizes lead quality as the biggest challenge and is shifting his strategy toward more targeted outreach, including cold emailing, LinkedIn messaging, and Google Ads aimed at experienced franchise owners. He also sees potential in reconnecting with candidates who didn't complete the process with other brokers, viewing partnerships and strategic collaborations as a smart path to create new opportunities. When Peloton's stock debuted in 2019, CFO Jill Woodworth believed the playbook was air‑tight. She had shifted fiscal calendars, re‑segmented reporting and shaped statements that “tell a story,” she tells us. Then COVID hit. Orders “flew nine‑fold overnight,” marketing was switched off, and customer focus narrowed to a single metric: getting bikes from order to doorstep. Wait times ballooned to “four or five months,” but earlier bets—a vertically integrated Taiwanese factory and Peloton‑owned delivery crews—proved “fortuitous,” enabling a sprint to drive delivery toward one week. When demand fell just as quickly, Woodworth slashed the bike's price and led a restructuring that cut “$800 million of costs,” announcing it days after the board replaced the CEO. The lesson, she says, is clear: even elegant models need room for the unimaginable. That conviction now guides her first months at Prenuvo, where a patient can slip into an MRI bore and, under an hour later, leave with a radiologist‑written report on every organ and joint, Woodworth tells us. She is “learning the business” alongside technology, AI and clinical teams, convinced the company holds “so many different ways to grow,” including a new biomarker offering. Finance remains small yet “mighty,” but she will embed analysts so thoroughly that the head of clinical practice “doesn't want to be in a meeting without” them. Acting as co‑pilot to the CEO, she intends to safeguard a balance sheet that grants “every available option” for raising capital—ensuring, this time, finance anticipates both the surge and the calm that follow ahead.

As market uncertainty continues around the Trump administration's trade policy, our Head of Corporate Credit Research Andrew Sheets reflects on the key takeaways that investors may learn from the ongoing volatility.Read more insights from Morgan Stanley.----- Transcript -----Andrew Sheets: Welcome to Thoughts on the Market. I'm Andrew Sheets, Head of Corporate Credit Research at Morgan Stanley. Today I'm going to discuss what we think we can actually learn from all of the back and forth in markets. It's Friday, May 16th at 2pm in London. One of the dominant questions of 2025 has been and continues to be: What exactly is the strategy behind U.S. tariff policy. Are these tariffs simply a negotiating tactic, designed to bring countries to the table in order to strike quick deals. Or are they something very, very different. An attempt to fundamentally reduce U.S. trade deficits, raise significant revenue, and bring production back to American shores. At a recent conference with some of our largest investors, we asked them which of these explanations they thought best applied. Well, about a quarter thought it was a negotiating tactic; another quarter thought it was that fundamental shift. And the remaining half simply weren't sure yet. Now, it's possible that this ambiguity is actually the point designed to keep trade partners guessing in order to secure better terms. It's also possible that very different views on trade exist within the administration, and we're seeing them vie for influence – perhaps almost in real time. So, amidst all this uncertainty and back and forth, it's useful for investors to try to take a step back and think what, if anything, we've learned.First, we think we've learned that markets have a pretty clear view on tariffs. Credit and equities sold off aggressively as tariffs were ramped up. They have rallied back almost as quickly as these same policies were paused or reversed. Second, this back and forth does complicate the economic data and makes it more likely that the Federal Reserve will leave interest rates unchanged, waiting for more clarity. At Morgan Stanley, we continue to think that the Fed makes no interest rate cuts this year.Third, even with the Fed doing nothing and interest rates moving around, bonds did diversify portfolios. Over the last 90 days, a portfolio of high-grade bonds, like the U.S. aggregate bond index has had just one-fifth of the volatility of the S&P 500, while at the same time delivering a higher total return. Yes, we think there is absolutely still a case for bonds to diversify within portfolios.Fourth and finally, the shock of the initial tariff announcement has passed. But there is still very real uncertainty about the economic impact, as even with the recent pauses, U.S. tariffs remain relatively high versus recent history. The next two months should start to give us the true picture of this impact – or the lack thereof – on both activity and prices. That will tell us whether the storm has truly passed through or whether we're simply in the eye of it.Thanks for listening. Let us know what you think about our thoughts in the market. You can leave us a review wherever you get this podcast. And if you like what you hear, share Thoughts on the Market with a friend or colleague today.

A disappointing weekend for the Atlanta Braves saw their quest to reach .500 denied yet again. That mirrors the club's struggle to find consistency at the plate and rise in the standings. Grant McAuley discusses the week that was for the Atlanta Braves, who are getting the pitching and defense they need but still searching for runs on an almost daily basis. A deep dive on the lineup yields some disappointing numbers. Can the return of Ronald Acuña Jr. be the catalyst for a collective turnaround? How soon will that happen. While the pitching staff continues to shine, Atlanta could get a boost from the return of Spencer Strider by week's end. You'll hear from Strider on his progress in recovery from a hamstring strain as well as two key arms helping to carry the weight for the Braves. Bryce Elder and AJ Smith-Shawver discuss what's led to their success in 2025.
