Esperanza and Irwin discuss the multiple lives of the Sea Spray Inn. The Sea Spray's early days in the 19th century on Main Street, East Hampton led to its subsequent move in 1902 to the dunes near Main Beach, as the private home of E.D. Terbell. The Sea Spray's heyday was from the 1940's to 1970's. The Sea Spray had a capacity of 125 guests served by a staff of 55. Rooms went from spare to breathtaking, with rates from $15 to $100 a day by the 1960's, three square meals a day included! A fire on a February evening in 1978 destroyed the Sea Spray, but the cottages remain. The East Hampton Village Board purchased them in 1978 for 3 million dollars, and manages them as rentals to this day.

Many people today are worried about the possibility of biowarfare or geoengineering. Others dismiss this as conspiracy. But in 1950, Operation Sea Spray was a government experiment that sprayed San Francisco with a later-shown-to-be-harmful bacteria.

Milling About visits The Samoset Resort in Maine where romance, relaxation and recreation meet at their lovely waterfront property sitting on the edge of Penobscot Bay. Along the property are one and two-bedroom cozy cottages Wind Drift, Spring Tide and Sea Spray, which Connie says are perfect for couples with screened porches and gas fireplaces. The glorious 100 year-old Flume cottage juts out on the rocks boasting an outdoor hot tub on a glass railing deck overlooking Penobsot Bay. Like any historic hotel, The Samoset originally built in 1889, has had it's share of ghost stories like the elevator closing or opening by itself! At The Spa, Robin was treated to an aromatherapy massage deeply inhaling frankincense; the scents are tailored to your mood.
