Welcome to Episode Three of the podcast; thank you for returning and tuning in to my very insightful conversation with Tess. Tess Wicks, the founder of Wander Wealthy, left her very secure job in actuarial science to explore the unknown and help others in her very successful business. Her risk-taking and comfort with the unknown were admirable and proved that we are not confined to the traditional confines and paths of life that are often imposed upon us. Instead, we can choose to create a life designed and tailored specifically to our goals. Within this conversation, we also expanded on various investments Tess has made to date, including her condo in Chicago and her investment in indices. Both have been transformative in setting Tess up for her future as much as her present and will enable her to retire relatively early in life. This open, honest and transformative conversation was a wealth of information for setting yourself up financially, going forward. So sit back, enjoy and share with all that you can!! X Reminder: This is by no means an advisory platform, and all information shared here is simply one person's journey and experience. What you do with any information following this podcast is of your own choosing.

Welcome back my friends! In this podcast episode I’m going to walk you through the 6 steps that I believe will help you *finally* launch your online business in 2021. These steps are the ones that will help move you from your corporate 9-5 to becoming your own boss. They are not one-and-done. These steps require daily commitment to show up, regardless of your current circumstances and results, because part of being a successful business owner is embodying who she is before it physically manifests. After interviewing hundreds of women, and along with my own personal journey to building an online business, there are 6 core steps and success principles that I have identified. Time and time again, guests have brought up these themes throughout their interview and have stated that these themes have played a role in their success so make sure you are paying attention and be ready to take notes!1.Master Your MindsetThis is key. We talk a lot about mastering your mindset on She Did It Her Way podcast because it is crucial in getting the results you want in your life and business. A common hurdle I see with new business owners is getting themselves comfortable with taking massive action. Maybe you’re tuning in today and you have an idea of the business you want to launch or you’ve taken some action but have found yourself more in the space of dabbling. Meaning, when you take action, it isn’t an “all in” mentality...it is taken from a place of hesitation and trepidation. Here’s the thing, if you’ve found that maybe you’ve stalled out in the past, dabbled, or haven’t created the results you’ve wanted, that is okay. The default is to shame yourself, get frustrated and upset and think “I’m not cut out for this”. You haven’t taken action yet, what makes you think this is going to be different this time around? You’ve wasted so much time.” and so on. Those thoughts that lead to frustration, shaming, irritation do not serve you. You want to create your present and future reality from your future, not your past. What you did or didn’t do in your past doesn’t matter and it does not serve you to hold on to it.You have permission to let it go.You may find yourself holding onto the shame and frustration because it’s what is comfortable. Instead, practice having your own back. Mastering your mindset isn’t something where you sign up for a 6 week course and then you’re done. It is constant work. The more you increase your mental capacity and use tools to sharpen it, the greater capacity you have for things to flow into your work. Your results are in a direct relationship with your thoughts. The thoughts you think today create your future for tomorrow. If you’re not taking action and can’t motivate yourself, then I invite you to join Elevate University. It is an accountability membership that helps you get out of your own way and into action. We unpack these mental constructs so you can start taking massive action and achieve the results you want. Maybe you’ve signed up for courses and programs in the past and had the best of intentions of going through them but they’re collecting virtual dust...then my friend...head to shediditherway.com/elevate and sign up for Elevate University it will change your life. Promise. Takeaway: If you have a goal or a result that you want to achieve not achieving, unpack that thought that is driving the feeling you feel that causes you to take action or not. 2. Invest In YourselfThe quickest path to success is finding someone who is already doing what you want to do and going directly to the source. For example, if you want to learn how to build a virtual assistant business, then find someone who has a successful VA business and enroll in their program and course. If you want to launch a profitable podcast from the start enroll in my podcast course, Podcast Your Way where I walk you through step-by-step how to launch your podcast in 30 days. The time and energy you save by having someone tell you exactly how to do something you want to do is worth the investment. Investing in yourself doesn’t have to mean spending thousands of dollars either. There are low-cost, high value programs. Elevate University at the time of this recording is $67/month but the value there is 10X from the live coaching, monthly trainings and core content.3. Validate Your Business Before You LeapOnce you know the business you want to create, always validate before you leap. The tendency might be to think, “I’ll figure it out once I quit and have more time.” The pitfall that people make is thinking that time is their problem. Time is not the problem, it is how you think about the time you have and what you do with the time you have. If you don’t have strong time management tools now, then when you do get more time, you’ll still run into the challenge of not having enough time. You also may find yourself in a bit of shock because you have so much time that you don’t know what to do with it.Getting yourself to validate your business prior to leap does a couple of things; It helps build your confidence in your ability to get clients because once you get one, there is always more where that came fromIt helps you understand HOW to get more clients andIt feeds into getting more clarity on your pricing. I’ve shared in previous podcast episodes the importance of understanding your leap number - how much do you need to make in your business that signals it is time to leap. You want to make sure you are doing math on how much money you need to make in order to make that leap and validating your business will help keep you accountable in doing so. I have seen many entrepreneurs make their leap and the most successful ‘leapers’ (if you will) are the ones that built their business on the side of their full-time job; with kids, 60-hour week jobs, you name it. Their ability to build their business alongside their full-time job set them up for success when they finally made their leap. Takeaway: Find your leap number and make the goal to validate your business before leaping. 4. Get Your Money and Legal House in Order***DISCLAIMER I AM NOT AN ACCOUNTANT, NOR AM I A LAWYER. WHAT I SHARE IS FROM MY OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.***Keep your business and personal money separate. Whether that is through completely separate banking accounts or different checking accounts within your personal banking. Incorporate your business to protect your personal assets.Create a Google spreadsheet and keep track of what you spend on business expenses and money that comes in. This is the quickest and easiest way to get started without overcomplicating it. Part of your Elevate University membership gives you access to last year’s She Did It Her Way Summit content, which includes a Google sheet template from one of the speakers, Tess Wicks and a course regarding all things legal. 5. Play the Long GameBuilding a business takes time. We recommend mentally committing to your business for 5 years. Any time frame shorter than that can create frustration when your business isn’t where you believe it should be. Playing the long-game also allows you to make long-term decisions vs decisions based on outcomes when things don’t go the way you planned. Another reason to build and validate your business while you’re working full-time.6.Detach From the OutcomeWhen you’re starting out as a business owner, everything matters so much and everything is magnified. When you have a discovery call with a potential client that doesn’t result in a paid client, you’re crushed. When you do your first “failed” launch and no one signs up, it is heartbreaking. But over time you learn that those “failed” launches are a) not truly failures, they are learning experiences and b) part of the process, everyone goes through them. The sooner you detach from the outcome, the sooner you stop making decisions based on the outcomes and start making decisions based on your vision and your future self. Takeaway: When you make decisions from your future self, you begin to act as if you already are where you want to be and you accelerate the process of bringing what you want into your life.Thank you so much for joining me again this week.Until next time, keep doing it your way! Insights:“The quickest path to success is finding someone who is already doing what you want to do and going directly to the source.““The time and energy you save by having someone tell you exactly how to do something you want to do is worth the investment.”“Your results are in a direct relationship with your thoughts.”“You want to make sure you are doing math on how much money you need to make in order to make that leap and validating your business will help keep you accountable in doing so.” Resources:Elevate UniversityPodcast Your Way

Money plus mindset equals financial success! We're chatting on the Fab Fempreneurs Podcast Show with wealth and mindset coach, Tess Wicks, about how and why to set specific, purposeful revenue goals. As a business owner, it is super important to know how much money you are making and where that money is going. Tess Wicks is a Wealth and Mindset Coach for Online Coaches and Service-Based Entrepreneurs. She's worked with individuals to help them master their cash flow for the past 4 years and fully understands the struggles and limitations of being a business owner and having the responsibility of both the business's finances and your own. What is considered a successful business owner has changed: you don't have to have a 6 figure business in order to be successful. Being clear on your numbers is the first step in financial success. Takeaways 1. Journal out your ideal day Become clear on what you want in your personal life and not letting vanity numbers guide you. Weave in all your needs (e.g., putting money away for taxes) into your money goals. Identify your personal expenses- which are necessary and which are “on pause” right now by monthly, semi-annual and annual needs list. A common example of something you can pause if you are struggling with money, or wanting to simplify, is as simple as canceling a TV subscription or any subscription that processes automatically that you may not even use. 2. Identify all the outflows in your business - annually! Identify your needs and what you want. For business, maybe you want to invest in content creation or hire an assistant. Create two purpose-driven goals for the needs and wants in your business. 3. Do the Easy Profit Math, to calculate your purpose-driven revenue goals, while accounting for the 4 Financial Elements of a Business (including profit!) How does it break down: your salary (what you pay yourself), business costs, profit and taxes. Where does the money go in order to have a business. What percentage of dollars you make are you going to put aside for taxes (talk to a CPA). Think 15%-20%, this a percentage of revenue not profit. Be proactive and set money aside. And if you have money left over, save it or splurge and go on a vacation! You also want to have money aside for an emergency fund or “rainy day account”, not only for your personal expenses, but for your business. Have money as a backup to supplement your income if you are going through a hard time. 4. Use your purposeful revenue goal to inform your business decisions: pricing, launch strategy, etc. When pricing your services, think about your revenue goals. If you know how much you want to make, this is how much you should charge. Your pricing should go into how much it costs to run the product or service.

The Angles of Lattitude Podcast: Learn from the Successes of the Creatively Self Employed
Personal financial management is a topic that many people really don't want to touch with a ten foot pole. A lot of the time, the reason for this is that as a society, we're just not taught how to manage our own money. For those of us who are lucky to have extra to invest, we feel that we need to hire a financial advisor or investor to do the work for us.While that might be helpful, it's not a great plan to simply give up the responsibility for our own portfolio. Since the world runs on money, we all should have a good fundamental knowledge of how the game works. In this session, Veronica and I speak with Tess Wicks. Like many others, Tess didn't grow up really thinking about money. In fact, the only reason she started learning about the subject was through necessity due to her major and future career. However, that career didn't last long. After realizing she wasn't cut out of the 9 to 5 world and could help others with their knowledge of money, she set out on a mission to educate. In our chat, we learn about the illusion of job security, her unique digital nomad lifestyle, and why it's important to set goals in our finances as entrepreneurs.Having a healthy lifestyle is something that is brought up time and again in pop culture. However, with all the temptations of fast food, taking it easy, and dealing with stress, many people just simply struggle to do what's best for them.Enjoy! Tess Wicks is a wealth and mindset coach. Traditionally trained in finance, Tess now works with individuals and business owners to help them cultivate the right mindset around money. She talks about the ideas that helped her manage her money, why boundaries bring freedom, and why her business has 4 bank accounts. How did you learn about managing money? Tess has a degree in finance, but that didn’t her to manage her money or to manage the finances of a small business. She learned to manage money was from a mentor who came to college and talked about the importance of managing money that made her aware of how important it is to manage your money. We have all had the experience of knowing what to do but not doing what we know. There's a performance gap. How did you close that gap? It starts with simple ideas, like paying yourself first. And learning to set aside 10% of your paycheck. That helped her understand that managing money has a simplicity to it. Something as simple as paying yourself first – a lot of people don’t do it. Why do you think that is? Some people truly believe that they need every dollar that they make. Parkinson's law states that you will use every resource that you have. When most people earn more, they spend more. Budgeting is about setting boundaries with your money, and many people shy away from that because it feels restrictive. People feel like they deserve the position they have reached and should be able to have that money. Tess tells them that having rules about money can create freedom. A lot of us get into self-employment for freedom and when you put rules in place it can feel confining, but these rules are really just boundaries to create even more freedom rather than restriction. Entrepreneurs tend to be very sensitive about their time and put boundaries on their time. If you can respect your time, you can also respect your money. Putting boundaries in place is a way of respecting your money. I like the idea of delaying gratification. Which I think is getting harder for our society as a whole because we have the internet and things we can get right now. We’re getting used to this instant gratification, and I think it’s important to train ourselves to love the immediate discomfit for the long term gain. Our society has become much more impulsive. We have trained ourselves to believe that we need immediate return or intimidate gain. We have to get used to enjoying the good kind of pain. Was it helpful to you when this mentor described putting a small amount of money away and looking at it from a long-term perspective? How can that impact your long term gain? Tess found it impactful to take a step back. Every decision we make in our day to day has an impact on the long term. The best teachers put things into perspective in really great ways. If you earn $15 an hour and save $3 an hour you’re earning $12 an hour and that is actually a small difference that can have a greater impact. He also broke down different spending patterns that people have after college. Such as leasing a brand new car over driving the one you’ve had as a teenager. Every decision we make have long term repercussions including the short term gratification ones. It’s interesting to me that you were having this experience of being educated in a conventional way. You took courses in mathematics and finance. But then this mentor put it in a personal and practical way. And that’s where you had your a-ha moment. And I think that’s missing from our education system. All of Tess’s financial classes were focused on big business and after college she worked as a consultant to big corporations. This knowledge didn’t help Tess’s personal finances and she made a lot of mistakes. She was fortunate to find her mentor. She also had the influence of watching her parents manage their money. And she had a lot of nerdy friends who were also actuaries, and they talked about things like maxing out Roth IRA’s and what they were doing with their 401K’s. She knew other people did not have her financial understanding and were confused about how to manage their money. She wanted to provide that level of mentorship for people. You mentioned paying yourself first? How do you do that? It depends if you’re a business owner or traditionally employed. If you are a business owner your business needs to be on a budget just like your personal finances. Often we pour any money the business makes back into the business. But it is important to take money out of the business for yourself. This means that you can see that you are getting something out of it but it also creates an important boundary. Even if this is just a small amount. It is important to set aside some profit and to get into the habit of doing that. You could start with 1% and build in up to 5-10%. You business will adapt to that boundary. Tess does this twice a month. She takes a small amount of all the money she’s made in that fortnight and transfers it to another account. This is in addition to paying herself. Is this money you are saving? Or money you are using to enjoy and buy things that you want? Tess gives herself a paycheck twice a month. That is the money she lives off and she saves a portion of that. She has a SEP IRA, which is a retirement account for self-employed people. She puts a percentage of her income into that, saves money into a variety of savings accounts. How many accounts do you have? Business-wise she has 4 accounts. 2 checking and 2 savings. She separates her revenue from her expenses. Her 2 savings accounts are for profit and taxes. So let’s say you have $3000 in your travel savings account and you want to go on a trip that is $5000. Do you wait until you get to $5000 to book that trip? You would save until you have that money. Tess doesn’t want to spend money she doesn’t have. I love how you are using the word boundary. Let’s start with our relationship to ourselves. You put a boundary in place, and you honor it. I think that’s so important for building our own self-worth. Tess thinks we should never let the numbers in our bank accounts or our net worth impact our sense of self-worth. You have to set a boundary between the numbers and your self-worth. There’s a huge wave of self-love popularity right now. I’m going to love myself so I’m going to just buy the shoes. Tess tells her clients that taking of themselves is taking care of their finances. The harder decisions of not buying that thing because you don’t have the money is taking care of yourself and loving yourself. We don’t need some of these extra things that are going to make us feel good in the short term to actually make us feel good. I’ve been online shopping and not buying. It’s really fun to load my cart up. I do this with Amazon all the time. I add things to my cart and save for later. Many times I decide I don’t want it. When you have a budget in place, it takes a lot of the decision making out of the equation, which I think is really helpful. Tess has her clients do a unique way of budgeting. They have a dollar amount that they can spend every day. This means they don’t have to catergorize their spending or decide what category something fits in. They get to spend that daily amount however they want. She separates fixed and discretionary expenses and doesn’t let her clients add groceries or gas to their fixed expenses. When you get a daily number, it can be low at the beginning of the month but will add up over time. What if you didn’t say yes to every happy hour or every invitation to go out to dinner for the first 7 days of the month? That can be a boundary that then gives you more money to spend at the end of the month on whatever you want. It seems like you have created your own system. As the money coach Tess always wanted to provide tools that really worked for her. A lot of the tools out there didn’t work for her. When she works with clients, she tries to find what works for them and apply certain rules that help them build wealth and live a financially free life. What’s been some of your inspiration? Tess gets inspired by working with her clients and seeing them crushing it. It shows her that she needs to keep doing what she’s doing. Can you share a story of someone who implemented your system and a result that they had? One of her clients is an accountant who is traditionally employed but also has a side business. She was stressed about her money. She felt that she should know this stuff, especially because she worked in finance. She felt disorganized, was spending a lot and considering buying a house. After they worked together, she realized that she loved renting and putting her money into the stock market. She increased her net-worth by something like $10000 in 6 months. When you put your mind to something, you can achieve a lot. Her entire mindset and outlook on life changed. You just said ‘Do a lot with the money that you have,’ I love that so much. There’s such a mindset of more and such a mindset of lack. We’re very conditioned with this type of thinking from a young age. Tess gets her clients to look at their priorities and core values. And then line that up with the money they’ve been spending to see is anything is out of sync. It’s really useful to see what truly makes you happy and fulfilled versus what you believe makes you feel fulfilled. It’s not about not spending money. It’s about spending money on things that you value and prioritize. What is something practical that someone who is feeling a bit overwhelmed can do? Where do you suggest people start? Sit down and identify all of your mandatory expenses. What do you need to pay for to live your life? Such as rent, mortgage, insurance, debt payments and utility bills. Determine what is essential and what is excess. There can be this feeling of shame around money. Money does not equate self-worth. It’s really about the integrity that you have with yourself. It is all about doing what you say you will do. After we get over the shame of whatever is going on with our finances and make a plan, then it’s about committing and following through. Our self-worth can ebb and flow depending on whether we follow through on the promises we’ve made to ourselves. How much money you have compared to someone else means nothing. What is the best advice you’ve ever been given? When Tess was in high school, she was a diver. They had a quote - “Feel the fear but do it anyway.” Tell us how we can get in touch with you Wander Wealthy: https://www.wanderwealthy.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tess_wicks/ Links SEP IRA https://www.investopedia.com/terms/s/sep.asp

Women in Business: Inspirational Stories of Women Entrepreneurs
It’s time for women to embrace and transition into a healthy, positive money mindset; but many of us don’t know where to start. Seeking out financial experts and reading books is a great way to start. And then there are coaches like Tess Wicks who will shatter all your money beliefs wide open. Tess is a qualified actuary, that’s someone who works lives and breaths finance, who left corporate America to pursue her dream of something more. Now Tess works with women in business to help them conquer their scarcity mindsets and start making the money they deserve. In this episode, Tess shares her best insight into how you can start getting savvy about your income. The first mistake we make is thinking we need to match our take-home pay from our 9-5: we should be striving bigger than that. Then we need to look at our regular financial goals: what do you need to make to cover your bills, what would you like to do regularly, and what would you love to bring home for your bigger splurges. When we approach purchases with an “I can’t afford that” mindset, this is scarcity. Tess tells us what we should really be saying about purchases. What it really comes down to is how we prioritize the things we want. Another important thing to put in place is separating your business and personal expenses. This is why having a business account is vital - and paying yourself a living wage from your income. Everything else should stay in your business account. Many of us sabotage ourselves with how we approach our personal and business finances. But where do we start making changes? Tess talks us through how to start. Have you been unintentionally raised with a scarcity mindset when it comes to money? Do you have separate business and personal accounts? How do you prioritize making bigger purchases? In This Episode: How do you get savvy about your personal finance Why it’s harmful to want to match your stable income when you become an entrepreneur Why you should split your financial goals into three; Need, Like, and Love How a scarcity mindset impacts our relationship with money How you can keep your business and personal bills separate Why we subconsciously sabotage ourselves when it comes to making more money Where to start redefining your money mindset Quotes: “I think a lot of people can relate when you study something specific or you’re in a career for a long time, you think that’s all you’re probably equipped to do. So how could you possibly break out of that and do anything else?” (4:04) “When someone says ‘I don’t have the money’, what they really want to start reframing it into is ‘that is just not a priority for me to spend the money on right now.’. Because everything we have in our lives is because we prioritized that. And we’ve made it a high-value thing.” (16:49) “When we start putting things into perspective of our values and what our priorities are, we can start to see how it lines up. And then we can ultimately switch into making purchases a priority.” (18:06) “It’s not just that you need to start thinking about money because it’s a real adult thing, it’s also for safety, for empowerment, for your ability to take control of your own life and not have to rely on anyone else.” (33:35) Links: Get the Easy Profit Roadmap Find Tess Wicks Online Follow Tess Wicks on Facebook | Twitter | Instagram | YouTube Sign Up for My Free Webinar: The 5 Step Framework to Building Your Profitable Service-Based Business Join From Side Hustle to CEO on Facebook Keep up with everything Women In Business Follow me, Dr. Cortney Baker on Facebook | Twitter | Instagram | LinkedIn KidsCare Home Health Are you a female millennial entrepreneur who wants to start or scale your service-based business but not sure where to start? House of FI, it’s time to get back to the basics of money management. The first month of 2019 is behind us. We’ve set our personal and financial goals but the newness of the New Year has worn off, and now it’s time to renew our commitment to the changes we know will inspire huge wins for our families. This is the reason we spoke to Dan Shaw in the previous episode, and it’s why we are speaking to Tess Wicks in this episode. Tess Wicks is a personal finance coach and educator who breaks down the journey to financial independence into key action steps and makes the connection between our priorities, the things we acquire, and our life vision. Tess has a vibrant online community, and she is also the host of the Wander Wealthy Podcast. Tess aims to empower her clients to get smart about their money while still being able to spend it on the things that bring them joy. In this episode, we touch on her money story, her views on the cost of education, entrepreneurship and the concept of the Anti-Budget. Money Story Who we are and why we end up doing the things we do as adults can often be traced back to early memories and experiences we had along the way. Tess Wicks is no different. Tess grew up with parents that owned a very successful business. She was the fourth child, and because of her place in the birthline, Tess had the unique experience of growing up on the other side of their initial business struggles. Before she was born, they lived in a tiny house in another part of town. By the time she came around, they’d seen business success, they achieved a more stable money position and they lived in a nicer home. What we loved the most about Tess’ experience of their increased financial stability was that her parents often drove back to the smaller home and revisited the way things were along the path to their success. Sometimes, in order to teach your kids where you are headed, you have to show them where you have been. Charting Her Own Path! Originally Tess was less than thrilled about following in the business ownership footsteps of her parents. At first, she planned to be a forensic pathologist. However, when college was all said and done, Tess actually excelled in the area of Actuarial Science. While working as a pension consultant - valuing the pension plans of various agencies - it became clear to her that her time in actuarial work was limited. She needed something more and began to imagine a different future for herself. She found a creative outlet in podcasting. The corporate structure was repetitive, so while completing all of her data-driven work, Tess began listening to personal development podcasts. At the time, the podcasts were all male owned, and because of that, there were very few female guests for their interviews. So, Tess and a friend, in an effort to elevate the female voice started their own podcast together. Today Tess owns the Wander Wealthy company, where she helps young people take control of their money, and grow their investments. Tess On The Cost Of College College costs are front of mind for many parents. The subject of how to avoid college costs, and also whether Tess felt college was helpful now that she is an entrepreneur came up. In the end, Tess was pretty torn about whether college (all costs included) is actually worth the money. Reasons Why Tess is Torn on The Need to Pursue College: The rising cost of college is crushing its participants. Parents and families don’t always understand the implications of chasing the higher education dream. Most people are going to get a higher salary by attending school, but sometimes it doesn’t happen this way. To determine the need for college, Tess suggests that families sit down and map out their goals. After writing down everything you want to achieve through college, break down the math to see how much the goal is really going to cost you. First Steps of Financial Stability List your goals - this ties your starting place to your ending place. Emergency savings fund - Starting with a foundation of an emergency fund help ward off budget problems later. Create your strategy next - for this you may need help, but the key is to create a strategy that fits your personal experience Live a little - it is important to give yourself some buffer to breathe and live. If you can't reward yourself for doing such good financial planning, what are you doing it for? Tess has an awesome new course called the Invested Plan, where she teaches you how to save and invest for the future - something that can be so daunting for many of us. Tess on the Final Questions: Money Lesson : Work with people and hire professionals that can make your life easier. Tess' parents had very smart people on their team that they were able to invest in. This pays off early and easily. Life Hack: Pursuing a more minimal lifestyle with additional spending on the items that positively affect her lifestyle. It’s good to be frugal and save money, but have an area of your life that you are able to spend in. Be very specific about what you allow into your life and spend a little more for good quality items. The biggest thing here is to remember that everyone’s journey is different. For some of you when you walk in and take THE leap you could have a sense of calm come over you, excitement and for others it may be something like “Oh my gawd. What did I just do?” and that is okay. Those feels are totally normal. One thing I have noticed is that the journey of an entrepreneur the first year in business is different from that of second year, third year and so on. If you can get through the first couple of years, have a strategic plan and surround yourself with the right people you can continue growing your business long-term. For the sake of this podcast I’m going to walk through some of the first year woes ;) Also, stay tuned at the end of the show to hear from Tess Wicks who will be presenting on how to price for profits.

On today's episode of Financial Fluency, I am more than thrilled to have the wonderful Tess Wicks with me. Tess is a financial literacy expert and Profit First Professional. She works with individuals and online businesses to implement systems for successful cash management, debt payoff, and ultimate profitability. She believes that you can have anything you want in life, as long as you're willing to do things a little differently. We also learn that Tess is learning to be a Profit First practitioner, which will allow her to help anyone looking to set up their business in the system designed by Michael Michalowicz in his highly recommend book.
