Introduction: Minutes 0 to 4:30 We'll be off for at least two weeks and maybe we'll be back on January 7th but we're not sure. Harry's book Spare comes out January 10th. I've been watching Acapulco on Apple plus. Chandra is looking forward to Glass Onion and season three of Emily in Paris. Royals: Minutes 4:30 to 28:30 We just finished volume two of Harry and Meghan. Volume one was mostly about their love story. We got some sputtering responses from the British press along with the story about how much William hates Meghan for taking Harry away from him. The takeaway from the second half of the series was that the Sussexes were getting briefed against. The royal reporters were previously open about getting briefed from the palaces but are now denying it. We now know that Harry's line in the trailer about his brother being willing to lie to protect himself was about William signing Harry's name to a statement after the Sandringham Summit that William never bullied Harry. Harry and Meghan truly wanted to continue to work for the royal family. They would have worked as much as they were able, but they were a threat to other members. It was hard to hear that Meghan thought people would take her at her word in the Oprah interview when she disclosed that she was suicidal. That was ignored and the headlines instead focused on how Harry and Meghan accused the royal family of being racist. The British press will do the same thing in their reaction to this docuseries. Chandra was surprised that the racism in the press wasn't called out more. Harry and Meghan also didn't get into the stories about Meghan supposedly making Kate cry and about who the royal racist was. They barely addressed the story of Meghan allegedly bullying staff. We think the Sussexes went easy on the Windsors here. Chandra appreciated that Meghan's lawyer disclosed that Jason Knauf helped the Mail on Sunday in Meghan's lawsuit against them for publishing her father's letter. Meghan said “that's your brother” when William texted Harry, but the contents of that text weren't disclosed. We would have liked to have heard more dirt on Will and Kate. Tyler Perry really stepped up to help Harry and Meghan when Charles leaked their location in Canada, they were surrounded by paparazzi and Charles pulled their security. We were moved by how Perry described the royal family as batterers and how he recognized the abuse that Meghan was suffering. Harry said that he had six weeks before the press found out they were in Canada and that they had six weeks at Tyler Perry's house before the press found out as well. That doesn't seem to be the case because we found out from Dan Wootton at the Sun on March 27th that the Sussexes were in LA, just two days after we learned that Charles had covid. We think Charles's office leaked the news that the Sussexes were in LA. We're impressed with how well the docuseries lays out everything with the Sussexes. The first half was familiar to us, but there was a lot of new information from the exit on. We remember how we heard that the Sussexes's security was being pulled and how there was hand-wringing over whether Canada or the US would have to pay for it. There were a lot of tangents the docuseries could have taken. They didn't even touch William's affair. We wonder if Meghan is still close with Jessica Mulroney. We wonder why Finding Freedom wasn't mentioned at all. We remember the People cover story that Abigail Spencer said she arranged to help set the record straight about Meghan. The letter Meghan wrote to her father was mentioned in that article and Chandra thinks that was the impetus for him to leak it to the Mail. The docuseries barely touched on all the charity work the Sussexes do. They're good people who work hard and connect with people. The word is getting out about them to the general public. Comments of the week: Minutes 28:30 to end My comments of the week are from Lala11_7 and Mcmmom on Hecate's post about Jennifer Coolidge saying there's real power in not giving a f-k as you get older. I talk about having reading glasses all over my house. We think Harry looks cute in his reading glasses. Chandra's comment of the week is from Jais on the post about Omid Scobie's next book, Endgame. Thanks for listening bitches

Jessica Mulroney is still proving to be a BFF and supporting Meghan Markle after the Duchess of Sussex was accused of bullying former royal aides.
In June of 2020, Toronto influencer Sasha Exeter posts an 11 minute video to her Instagram calling out Jessica Mulroney, stylist and alleged bff of Meghan Markle, for exerting her privilege by coming after her livelihood in racially charged threats. The story doesn't play out like you typically see; after an initial apology by Mulroney she doubles down with 'receipts' that claim to exonerate her. They do just the opposite, and we break it all down.Follow along and let us know what you think on Instagram @haveyouheardpodcastSources:Sasha Exeter InstagramWhat Happened to Sasha Exeter (Elaine Lui, Lainey Gossip)How Did We Get Stuck with Jon and Barbara Kay? We are feeling feisty tonight as we get down to recording. Lisa is making up phrases and words that make no sense and that's not new. She is convinced that she may have created a new word...she hasn't. The word cohort is top of mind for Lisa as she sifts through the daily news. This oddly segways us to talking about sports and play offs. Sam interjects with some info about her weekend and hanging out with her famjam which doesn't last long as Lisa starts harping about her beets again. There is no love from Lisa for Drew Barrymore and her daytime TV show. Give a girl a break! Kelly and Ryan are back in the studio with a weird green screen, Ellen is coming back September 21st and the ladies of the View are struggling with their looks as they premiere their show this week. Sam feels sympathy for Meghan McCain but Lisa is having none of that! We were doing so well with agreeing this week until we started talking about her! We move on to discussing Jessica Mulroney, cancelled food, fall coat and boots, Blizzard Treat Candle collection, Facebook Tuesday's, living la vida loca, something that everyone looks stupid doing, Jerry Lewis, The Rock, Celebs homeschooling, Derek Hough on DWTS and the Tiger Queen, 4th season of The Crown, drive-in theatre at Sandringham, Frogmore, Bonsai trees, maple vs pumpkin spice, the HHG, adding in new foods, toaster strudels, casseroles, lunch, dinner or supper, what's marzipan, autocorrect, Peacocks, season 2 of Jann and three TV shows you will watch till November. Boy, do we have a lot to crack into this week. First up, how did we miss Jessica Mulroney getting cancelled? And has Michaela Coel opened the floodgates on pay transparency in the entertainment industry? Then it's onto Jada Pinkett Smith and *that* Red Table Talk interview. Smith has single-handedly taken control of the 'celebrity tell-all' by orchestrating one herself. Is she really turning the medium on its head? Or has she just beat the media machine by rebranding a carefully crafted publicity statement as a 'juicy exclusive'? Why are so few people willing to condemn her predatory behaviour? And what does this all tell us about the way Hollywood golden couples turn themselves into multi-million dollar brands? Then, it's all things #FreeBritney. We explain the 'conservatorship' that has kept 38-year-old Britney Spears legally confined in her home for 12 years. What does it actually mean and what can we do about it? And on the eve of a new HBO documentary about the phenomenon of child stars, we wonder if child stardom is, by its nature, immoral. Listen now and, as always, rate, review and subscribe. Ben dressed up his exit from ETalk as some noblesse oblige to help people of colour get a prime TV spot. Bullshit. Introduction: Minutes 0 to 5:15 I got a haircut from a new guy. It’s been raining all week and Chandra’s cat Dexter is spending more time indoors, but also wakes her up at 3am! We are taking off July 6th from the podcast. I’ll Zoom with anyone who gives us a nice review, just email me at info-at-celebitchy.com. Royals: Minutes 5:15 to 25 Jessica Mulroney threatened influencer Sasha Exeter after Sasha made a general callout asking people to support Black Lives Matter. Jessica got fired from her reality show, she’s no longer an expert on other shows and a bunch of sponsors dropped her. This wouldn’t be such a big story if Jessica wasn’t a close friend of Duchess Meghan. We’ve all had troublesome friends and don’t think it’s fair to blame Meghan for Jessica’s behavior. I play a segment from our Zoom meeting where we talk about female friendships. Minute 13: Lainey at Lainey Gossip wrote an article about her hesitation to speak out about Jessica Mulroney. Lainey works on CTV’s eTalk with Jessica’s husband, Ben Mulroney. She revealed that the Mulroneys have been threatening people who aren’t taking Jessica’s side. Minute 14:35: The Queen had the Trooping the Color parade despite the pandemic and the fact that protests were raging throughout London. The Queen has only given one speech about the pandemic and hasn’t said one thing about Black Lives Matter. She didn’t wear a mask during the parade and none of the British royals have been wearing them. Minute 16:45: Prince Andrew is asking the Department of Justice to apologize to him. It seems like he’s only offered a written witness statement and is throwing a fit at the idea that they’re asking him to sit for an interview. There’s a huge difference between the way the British press treats Andrew, who is complicit in crimes, to the way they treat Duchess Meghan for just existing. I play a segment from the Zoom meeting where we talk about the fact that Prince Andrew still lives in a mansion and gets his security fully paid while Harry and Meghan are being made to rent Frogmore for £18,000 a month. Minute 20:45: Kristen Stewart has been cast as Princess Diana in a biopic by Pablo Larrain, who directed Natalie Portman in Jackie. Chandra doesn’t think Kristen will be awful in the role and that it could be watchable. I play a segment from Zoom where we talk about Kristen Stewart playing Diana. Officer McMuffin: Minutes 25:00 to 29:30 We saw Deputy Karen McMuffin crying over the fact that her McMuffin was late. In follow up interviews she doubled down and didn’t apologize. Cops in New York claimed Shake Shack tried to poison them because their milkshakes tasted funny, but it wasn't deliberate and was just the cleaning solution used on the machine. User Feedback: Minutes 29:30 to 30:15 Thank you to duchess of hazard, LaUnicaAngelina and JeJoKo for your kind comments. Comments of the Week: Minutes 30:15 to 34 My comment of the week is from Darla on the post about people buying 30% more processed food. Chandra’s comments of the week are from Samc and Miranda on the post about cops getting “poisoned” with milkshakes. Thanks for listening bitches! Text us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

Make like Kate’s photo campaign and ‘Hold Still’ (see what we did there?!) as you join us for this week’s episode.

Außerdem warum Meghan Markle stinksauer auf ihre beste Freundin ist, warum Königin Máxima von einer Modejournalistin kritisiert wird und warum das belgische Königshaus mit einem Rassismus-Skandal kämpft.

What's on the men-WHO today? (Get it?) Well, a fucked-up return by none other than Meghan Markle's Canadian BFF (for now?) Jessica Mulroney, who came for fellow influencer Sasha Exeter... unsuccessfully. The artist formerly known as Lady Antebellum should've checked YouTube... or Spotify... or the ASCAP before they changed their terrible name. Why this reported Reba McEntire lookalike is not actually her lookalike (but actually her ex-husband's ex-wife). How B. Simone manifested her first published book — plagiarism! Juliet Litman and Amanda Dobbins discuss Jessica Mulroney’s outburst after Sasha Exeter asked her followers to help contribute to the Black Lives Matter movement (0:55). Then, in lighter news, Litman and Dobbins enjoy the prank that Ben Affleck’s kids played on paparazzi by placing a life-size cutout of Ana de Armas on her front lawn (19:55). Plus: all the Grub Street diets that have caught our attention (25:20).

Alright - the past few weeks have been intense, but in what we believe to be also productive! One of our local Black influencer, Sasha Exeter, publicly announced on her IGTV that Jessica Mulroney had attempted to silence her for speaking out against Black Lives Matter and encouraging her involvement. What spiralled into a nation-wide story, Sasha has been praised for her bravery in speaking out against such a powerful voice in the media space like Jessica while Jessica has been cut from popular network CTV and other partners. We share our thoughts and also talk about our own controversy that happened where 4 local influencers were publicly called out using inaccurate claims and false accusations. This is a must listen! Jessica Mulroney has essentially been cancelled, for trying to exercise her white privilege behind closed doors, while presenting a very different image on the surface. We chat with 'This is VANCOLOUR' podcast host Mo Amir.
quick intro on this as it’s part two of this week’s podcast where we discuss brands and individuals who need to be held accountable for their lack of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and just plain insensitivity toward race in the workplace as well. at the end of this episode we get to the story of Sasha Exeter and Jessica Mulroney and as i mention on the podcast, Sasha is a friend of mine and so i am only sharing information that was publicly shared by the two women so as not to have any bias in the story. lastly i want to reiterate that if you have a story you want to share or need someone to speak to about an issue you’re facing in the workplace i am asking you to please contact me if you need support and we will work together to figure out next and best steps. thank you for listening. love you. mean it. ok bye The post the second one that’s not about cancel culture appeared first on ya, we're basic..
Intro: Minutes 0 to 3:45 We’re both having a tough time and have been crying, but it feels like things are changing. This week we’re giving away two $25 Amazon gift certificates to the first two people who send us positive reviews they’ve given to the podcast. You can email them to info-at-celebitchy.com and they don’t have to be new this week. Thanks! Royals: Minutes 3:45 to to 18:30 Chandra had pre-written a story responding to the Daily Mail’s criticism of Meghan’s lack of response to Black Lives Matter movement following George Floyd’s murder. She had to edit it because Meghan came out with a video commencement speech for her alma mater, Immaculate Heart High School in LA, just the next day. The speech was moving, heartfelt and passionate. I play a clip from our Zoom meeting on Wednesday, before Meghan’s speech came out, where we talked about the difference between Kate and Meghan’s speaking skills and ambitions. Both Meghan and Obama’s speeches were aimed at telling Black kids that their lives matter. Minute 10:00 The Tatler Catherine The Great story is the gossip gift that keeps on giving. More denials came out since our last podcast. Katie Nicholl’s denial in Vanity Fair is precious because Kate emphasizes her Early Years work and how hard she’s working at it while denying that she resents it! The Times of London found that Will and Kate aren’t working any harder than usual, but it’s suspicious to us that Meghan’s numbers are also so low. Kate and William threatened legal action against Tatler, but Tatler doesn’t think their legal claims have merit and they’re standing by their writer, Anna Pasternak. The Cambridges want Tatler to take the story down because they don’t know how the Internet works. Tatler took down the links to this story from the main page and royals page, but it’s still available. They’re now trying to blame Meghan for the article because she has some tenuous relationship with the author, “[Author Anna] Pasternak is friends with ex-Tatler journalist Vanessa Mulroney, the sister-in-law of Meghan’s best friend Jessica Mulroney.” The current editor is Kate’s friend from college so that’s definitely a reach. I say this is the first piece of negative press Kate has gotten and Chandra remembers all the bad press around Will and Kate’s disastrous India trip, which was in 2016 about six months before Meghan came around. If Kate and William hadn’t responded multiple times to all the points in this article this would have been a three day news story. Instead we’ve been talking about it for over a week. Lea Michele: Minutes 18:30 to 25:30 We remember how Chandra has disliked Lea for years. I asked her to change a story back in 2011 (I looked it up because I never delete email) where she said Lea had a face she’d like to smack. She wasn’t wrong! Lea of course was outed as a mean girl and probable racist for her treatment of costars. Chandra questions whether Lea is a racist or just a terrible person overall and I say she’s both. Lea’s “apology” was terrible and used the word “perceived” multiple time, as if it was other people’s interpretation of her behavior. In our Zoom meeting Karen made the point that Ryan Murphy and the other Glee producers are complicit for allowing Lea’s behavior to continue for years. Ashley pointed out that Ryan has also been hiring Emma Roberts, who for a lot of projects. Chandra gets a creepy feeling about Ryan Murphy and neither of us like his shows beyond a few episodes. Thomas Middleditch and Ben Affleck: Minutes 25:30 to 30:00 Thomas Middleditch’s wife filed for divorce. We play a segment from Podcast #30 where we talked about Thomas’s terrible interview with Playboy where he claimed that he and his wife were swingers, but admitted that it was one-sided on his part and that he didn’t tell his wife until after they got married. Chandra says Thomas has a nerdy hot appeal but I don’t agree. We both think he’s gross after his Playboy interview. I play a clip from Zoom where Rhiannon defends her love of Ben Affleck and a new member, Colleen, agrees. Chandra and I think that Ben was hot in 1999 but not anymore. She calls him “steroidy.” Sorry Rhiannon and Colleen! User Feedback and Hannibal: Minutes 30:00 to 32:30 WilliamJoelene said they listened to all our podcasts and we are super flattered! Thank you! Chandra finished all three seasons of Hannibal and she hated it so much. She’s very angry about the ending and says it was misogynistic too. Thanks for the nice voicemail from an unknown listener. She did not leave her name. Comments of the Week: Minutes 32:30 to 35:20 My comment of the week is from Martina on the post about Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas going to a Black Lives Matter protest in Venice, CA. Chandra’s comments of the week are from Crowhood on the post about the pot factory busted near the Middletons’ estate and from agnes on the post about Meghan McCain complaining about her New York neighborhood while she’s in Virginia. Thanks for listening bitches! Text us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

There was plenty to dissect in Hollywood this week, with the Oscar's releasing their embarrassingly middle-aged-white-dude nomination lineup and Harvey Weinstein's trial beginning in New York. Why can't the entertainment industry get a handle on their diversity problem? And why - after more than 80 women levelled accusations at Weinstein - is his trial hinging on the testimony of only two women? Plus, the topic we were desperate to sink our teeth into: Meghan and Harry's shock decision to step away from their 'senior royal' title. We unpack the serious aspects involved - the sexist treatment of MM in the media, for one - but also the most bizarre stories to emerge from 'Megxit', including surprise appearances from Oprah, Jessica Mulroney and Madame Tussauds (?).And you asked, we answered: This week Grace shares another embarrassing childhood incident involving physical activity.Recommendations: A crash course in climate change https://grazia.com.au/articles/bushfires-climate-change-government-action/Netflix: Before the Flood Elizabeth Wurtzel:'Prozac Nation''On Her One Night Stand Of A Life' in New York Magazinehttps://www.thecut.com/2013/01/elizabeth-wurtzel-on-self-help.html'When Beauty Fades' in ELLEhttps://www.elle.com/life-love/sex-relationships/advice/a10010/failure-to-launch-when-beauty-fades-323090/Podcast: Fresh Air - Boys & Sexhttps://choice.npr.org/index.html?origin=https://www.npr.org/2020/01/07/794265007/boys-sexPodcast: The Daily - The Case Against Harvey Weinstein Part 1 & 2 https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/09/podcasts/the-daily/harvey-weinstein-trial.htmlPodcast: The Witch Hunt by The Guardian Australiahttps://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/series/witch-huntBook: Three Women by Lisa TaddeoMovie: Parasite (2019) Get bonus content on Patreon See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
Intro: Minutes 0 to 4:30 I’m watching my friend’s border collie, Mango, for a couple of weeks and Chandra is caring for her mom’s big boi kitty, Dexter. Dexter is getting along ok well with Chandra’s panther kitten. He’s a talkative cat and a sweetheart. Due to next Monday falling on Labor Day, we’re taking it off and will be back on September 9th! Royals: Minutes 4:30 to 13 We heard that the Sussexes took vacations to Ibiza and Nice in the past few weeks. While we would question how many vacations they’re taking, the tabloid criticism has been racist and over the top. Elton John issued a statement that he lent the Sussexes his private jet, which uses carbon offsets, and the use of his estate in France. Jameela Jamil and Jessica Mulroney defended Meghan against the racist coverage of her. I found the original quote that Jameela referenced and it’s worse than it sounds. Meanwhile Prince William and Duchess Kate made sure to be photographed leaving a budget flight to Scotland, just as the press was attacking Meghan and Harry for taking a private flight. It looks like The Cambridges are planting these stories to control the press cycle, similar to how they announced their Pakistan tour on a Saturday when the Sussexes were in Toronto at a baseball game. Lori Loughlin is such a victim: Minutes 13 to 16:30 Lori Loughlin and her daughters Olivia and Isabella are covering People Magazine dressed all in white of course. Lori is facing serious jail time after rejecting a plea deal, after which more charges were brought against her and her husband for their part in Operation Varsity Blues. Lori remains deep in denial and claims she’s been living in her own prison – in her mansion, where she can come and go as she pleases. Chandra thinks Lori is a clueless rich bitch like Lucille Bluth in Arrested Development, except not as interesting. Taylor Swift and Lena Dunham’s bad taste: Minutes 16:30 to 22 Taylor Swift did a fashion collaboration with Stella McCartney. We have a longstanding and well deserved dislike of Stella’s fug designs. It ended up being concert merchandise that’s very 80s mall. Lena Dunham shared photos of her terrible 80s interior design. It’s full of tchotkes and is pastel and ugly. Her personal style is very similar to her writing. Gwyneth Paltrow’s book curator: Minutes 22 to 26:30 Gwyneth Paltrow hired a book curator to outfit her house with books The guy’s name is Thatcher Wine, which doesn’t sound like a real name. This is offensive to Chandra on so many levels as she’s a book lover and thinks that books should have meaning and be well used. I mention Marie Kondo culling people’s books and Chandra says she’d pay someone to help her reduce her book collection. User Feedback: Minutes 26:30 to 27:30 Our user feedback was from Renata in Poland who appreciates our political coverage and likes hearing how American women feel about the administration. Comments of The Week: Minutes 27:30 to 31:40 My comment of the week was from FridaK on the post where Cindy Adams was racist. Chandra’s comments of the week were from JB and Lena on the post with Taylor Swift’s new fashion. Thanks for listening bitches!

The Atelier Collective arose from an unofficial and unintentional brainstorming session in early summer 2017. Friends for years, Taryn and angela always admired one another’s business successes, in the corporate world and as entrepreneurs, as well as a love for adventure and travel. While catching up over lunch that day, they launched onto the topic of personal development and how immensely important it is to the person as a whole – both in business and in life. That day- The Atelier was Born. The second edition, with keynotes by Jillian Harris and Jessica Mulroney, is happening on June 18 2019. Tickets go on sale any day now so be sure to subscribe to their newsletter and get first dibs. Kaitlin and Lisa care about your health, which is why they want you to know that this episode kicks off with a very annoying update about Thomas Markle and you may need a royal cocktail just to hear it. Luckily, things perk right up when the ladies are joined by special guest Elizabeth Holmes! She returns to the pod to talk about Meghan's appearance at the British Fashion Awards (dark nails and all), those Jessica Mulroney-inspired pants on Kate Middleton, and the very special anniversary of Kate Middleton meeting Beyonce. NBD. Listen in for all this and more.
After 16 days of speeches, handshakes, and throwing wellies across a field, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga, and New Zealand has finally drawn to a close. While they are off to rest, Lisa and Kaitlin are recapping those final days — including the standout moment of Markle's speech about voting, wow! William and Kate got sporty again, and a new book about Prince Charles is packed with fun rumors. Plus, a new job for Jessica Mulroney and a new life for Princess Ayako of Japan. Grab a royal refreshment and listen in for all this and more.
Beginning an episode without a Most Markleous Headline of the Week was rough, but you know what? We powered through anyway--mostly because there was Royal Wedding news to get through (hello Janina Gavankar!) so it didn't actually feel like our second-favorite recurring segment had ended. Anyhoo, this week, we talked about Canadian socialite (and Meghan's best friend) Jessica Mulroney and why her husband is a lot like Billy Bush, someone named Clayne Crawford who's feuding with a Wayans brother, and why you'll never be able to look at Flonase the same way again.
We've got an exciting bonus episode for you and we're breaking down the Royal Wedding. We discuss what it was like watching at 4AM from the west coast of the US and what the atmosphere was like in England. What did we think of Meghan's dress(es), and who wore it best: royal wedding guest edition. Find out who we thought stole the show: spoiler, it was not Meghan, and what our favorite parts of whole day were. We even extend an invitation to a certain new Duchess to join us on Pond Between Friends as she is now across the pond from her family and friends...gals can dream, right? What you'll get on the bonus episode: • "Britain in the sunshine, there is no place like it" (2:04) • "She looked like a beautiful modern princess" (2:30) • "I think that's Meghan, that's her showing that she's a feminist, that she can do this on her own, showing her confidence...Britain were with her all the way" (3:34) • "Being an actress definitely lent itself to this role" (4:50) • "I love that it was a nod to British fashion...that was a great touch" (5:33) • "We can't go on, before we discuss her priest..." (5:52) • "Meghan was able to bring in her culture...I loved the modern twist on it" (6:22) • "It brought two families together...you almost forgot for a second it was the royal family and it was just a wedding of two cultures and two people coming together" (7:20) • "I love the Queen, I love the Royal Family, I'm typically British in that way" (7:52) • "I guess it's something we'll just never know...as the fairytale is happening we will say that seat was for Diana" (8:41) • "If anybody took it away from them, I'd say maybe Princess Charlotte" (9:27) • "Jessica Mulroney was stunning...she's had her Pippa moment" (9:53) • "Hello, who doesn't like a Bank Holiday!" (10:34) • "It fell on an FAA Cup Final...Britain was just in such high spirits...an all day celebration" (10:51) • "Lady Kitty Spencer...she looked beautiful" (12:30) • "We invite her to hopefully discover Pond Between Friends...so, Duchess of Sussex if you want to chat with us...I'll even come and meet you for a cup of tea at Kensington Palace" (13:13)
Weddings in the News-Spring 2018 - Episode #167 Join our Facebook Group This episode is a fun one, man-gagement rings, the royal wedding, and wedding stats! Man- gagement http://fromringtoveil.com/mangagement https://jezebel.com/eight-reasons-why-the-mangagement-ring-should-totally-1524567911 https://www.theatlantic.com/national/archive/2014/02/the-rise-of-the-man-gagement-ring/283827/ Royal wedding info Prince Harry designed the custom engagement ring he gave to his fiancée -- and it includes some special sentiments. The center stone is from Botswana, where the two visited in August. But the two stones that flank the center jewel honor Prince Harry’s mother as they're from Princess Diana's collection. The ring was made by court jewelers Cleave and Company, according to Town & Country magazine . The wedding is on Saturday, May 19th, 2018 at midday at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, where Prince Harry was christened. What about the best man and bridesmaids? The Duke of Cambridge is expected to be Harry's best man, or perhaps jointly take on the task with one of Harry's childhood friends. William has already joked that he is yet to be asked by his younger brother. Prince George and Princess Charlotte look almost certain to be page boy and flower girl. The siblings already know the score - they performed those roles at the wedding of Pippa Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge's younger sister, to James Matthews in May last year. Ms. Markle may also choose some grown-up bridesmaids from her close set of friends - most likely Canadian stylist Jessica Mulroney and Indian actress and philanthropist Priyanka Chopra. She might even pick a best woman. New royal titles Ms. Markle will become an HRH and a senior royal after marrying Harry and joining the Windsors. She is also expected to become a duchess , as Kate Middleton, who is expecting her third child in April, did when she became the Duchess of Cambridge after saying her vows in 2011. By tradition, male members of the Royal family receive a title from the monarch on their wedding day, and the vacant title Duke of Sussex is regarded as the most likely choice for the Prince, meaning Ms. Markle would become HRH The Duchess of Sussex. Like Prince Harry, the previous Duke of Sussex lived at Kensington Palace, and he also married for love, rather than choosing brides who fitted the traditional royal mold. 2018 Stats (wedding wire) Embedded diamond for engagement rings http://q13fox.com/2018/03/16/millennials-replacing-engagement-rings-with-diamonds-embedded-in-their-fingers/ ***Listener Question*** Hi ladies! My fiancé and I had been planning a wedding for May 2019, then recently realized that we had to get married for health insurance purposes. We did it at court--no ceremony, just paperwork--and still plan to have a wedding next year. It's NOT a secret that we did this. But I'm scared that people will be angry if we have a ceremony next year since it won't be the "real deal." Do you have any thoughts?
