On today’s edition of The Scott Jennings Show, Scott Jennings covered the political aftershocks of Ken Paxton’s major runoff victory over John Cornyn in Texas, framing it as another sign of the Republican Party’s shifting direction heading into 2026. Broadcasting alongside updates on Supreme Court developments, Biden’s legal effort to block the release of audio recordings, and growing tensions involving Iran, Jennings also examined progressive Democratic losses and controversies surrounding political rhetoric. Guests included national security expert Rebeccah Heinrichs on Iran and the Trump administration’s latest cabinet discussions, Gabrielle Etzel on the political implications of Paxton’s rise and the MAHA movement, Rep. Vince Fong on California fraud, energy failures, and high-speed rail spending, Shalom E. Lamm on Operation Benjamin’s mission to honor Jewish-American veterans, and Rep. Gabe Evans on sanctuary city policies and local resistance to ICE cooperation in Colorado. Throughout the program, Jennings blended election analysis, foreign policy, immigration enforcement, and government accountability into a broader conversation about the political and cultural direction of the country.

Amy Lamm joins us to share her path of shamanism and land healing, starting with her early contact with nature spirits and the gradual opening of communication with the land. We get into how she developed her way of receiving messages, especially through automatic writing, and how these messages often come through in symbolic and metaphorical ways that need to be worked with rather than taken at face value. From there we explore how the spiritual landscape is structured, including nature spirits as collectives and the role of the “keeper of the land,” as well as her work with Bigfoot or Sasquatch as interdimensional beings connected to the Earth and involved in land healing. We also move into discernment, looking at how to recognize and deal with deceptive or disruptive entities, and she shares a powerful case study of a property dominated by an aggressive spirit and how that situation was resolved. Throughout the conversation, one idea keeps coming back, which is that human beings have a real role to play in this system, where the spirits can guide, but it is the embodied human who allows change to actually take hold within the physical world.(Note: Lux's mic was starting to glitch in this interview. Gold has re-entered the spotlight, but L1 Capital believes investors may be looking in the wrong place. After years of investing in commodities, the firm formalised its view with a dedicated gold strategy in March 2025, now set to list as the L1 Gold Fund Limited (ASX: LGF, subject to approval). Co-Chief Investment Officer Raphael Lamm sees the real opportunity not in bullion, but in overlooked gold equities trading on “astounding” free cash flow yields. Crucially, the strategy does not depend on rising gold prices, with valuations anchored in conservative assumptions. In this episode of The Rules of Investing, Lamm explains why structural forces could support the opportunity for years to come. Please note, this interview was recorded on Monday, 16 March 2026.

He has written, with Gerald Secor Couzens, several books, including The Virility Solution, Younger at Last, the best seller Thinner at Last & his book No Guts, No Glory. Searching for true wellness? Start with the gut. Though most of us rarely think about that organ, unless we're among the 90 million people who have gastrointestinal problems each year, the gut is the source of many seemingly unrelated physical and mental disorders that afflict millions of Americans—such as kidney stones, asthma, a ruptured abdominal aorta, and even cancer or a heart attack. Most people assume everything's fine until something hurts. But by then the trouble has been brewing a long time. To be really health savvy, we need to understand the role the gut plays in health, which goes far beyond digestion, and begin taking care of it. A graduate of Columbia University and New York University School of Medicine.Dr. Lamm is the recipient of numerous honors, including American Bariatric Society Recognition Award, Alpha Omega Alpha Award, New York Founders Day Award. Dr. Lamm is active in clinical research and is a panel physician for the New York State Athletic Commission. Colossal Biosciences has grand ambitions to bring back extinct species like the woolly mammoth and the dodo. But while it's still working on those, Colossal surprised the world by announcing in April that it had created three white animals it says are dire wolves — a canine that lived in the Americas and is thought to have been slightly larger than a gray wolf. Colossal's CEO Ben Lamm explains what it all means and how they brought the wolves into being. CNN journalist Fareed Zakaria interviews Lamm about the buzz Colossal created with its wolves and what's coming next.

Attention is the world's most valuable commodity. If you have a smartphone your attention is being quietly siphoned away from you. 30 minutes here, an hour there. It's subtle and more dangerous than most of us will give credit. If your life is where your attention goes then, not to be too dramatic but your life is being stolen.I do believe it's theft because it's not accidental, it's by design and I think we should be angry about it. Sure, we all enjoy certain aspects of being online but the game is not our enjoyment. Tech companies want us so addicted that we're online 24/7.This all sounds like I'm leading towards the magic solution. Sorry, I don't know the answer, I'm just as addicted as you. I'm hopeful though, because I'm at stage 1 - admitting I have a problem. From here we can start to work out some solutions. This week's guest is August Lamm and she has found a solution, albeit a drastic one - she's ditched the internet altogether. Some people can get quite angry about this decision, they think August is selfish and entitled.I'll be honest, we're lucky that this interview even happened. My UK number wasn't working properly in New York. I could get imessage, but that's no good for August's brick phone.Share this episode with a friend (not if they're offline though)There were times when I was trying to contact August but the New York Library was closed. One day I got a string of emails, ending with “I'm going to have to go. I'm using the computers in the Apple store and they're getting pissed off with me”It's slightly annoying to arrange meetings with an offline person. I'm sure August faces some of these difficulties every day. But I really don't think it's anything to be mad about. Your sanity is your responsibility and if that means not participating with what everyone else deems normal, so be it.I deleted WhatsApp about 7 years ago. I know it's a pain for some people but I will never go back and if you really want to speak to me you'll work it out.I've lost friends because I don't drink alcohol.I leave parties at 9pm because I go to bed at 10.Your most important people will understand. When I first went sober it definitely wasn't the norm. Now if you don't drink, it's pretty universally accepted.Maybe it'll be that way with the internet someday. Maybe we'll recognise that scrolling is worse than smoking. Maybe more and more of us will get offline. There are dumb phone communities popping up here and there and it feels like collectively we're all starting to agree that our screen time is too high. Ditching the internet does feel extreme though and I really want to believe that there are less dramatic actions we can take. August disagrees. Only time will tell.
