Rincón de la Victoria reunirá a casi medio centenar de artistas bajo el proyecto Myaló: Salud Mental a través del arte y las joyas. El alcalde de Rincón de la Victoria, Francisco Salado (PP), la comisaría y creadora del proyecto, Raquel Lobelos, junto a las concejalas de Cultura y Bienestar Social, Mari Paz Couto, y Olga Cervantes, ha presentado “este proyecto tan ambicioso y con una importante carga social, que nace con el objetivo de normalizar y visibilizar la salud mental, para desestigmatizar un problema de salud que nos puede afectar directa o indirectamente a cada uno de nosotros a lo largo de la vida”. El encuentro también ha contado con la asistencia del director de la Agencia de Modelos, Manuel Beltrán, el director de la Escuela de Maquillaje y Peluquería, Antonio Eloy y representación de colectivos del municipio y la provincia. El alcalde ha valorado “el importantísimo proyecto que viene de la mano de la Asociación de Artistas, Diseñadores y Artesanos (ADA), al que damos cabida e impulsamos en Rincón de la Victoria. Un proyecto socio cultural de enorme impacto, con el que pretendemos llegar a todos los rangos de edad de nuestro municipio y con el que visibilizamos uno de los grandes problemas de la sociedad actual”, explica Salado. Por su parte, Raquel Lobelos, ha agradecido al Ayuntamiento de Rincón de la Victoria, “la excelente acogida que hemos tenido para hablar de la salud mental, que nos acerca, a través del arte, el poder curativo que éste tiene para todas las personas”. “Es posible adaptarse y curarse a pesar de los problemas y las dificultas, y el apoyo de las instituciones y asociaciones es fundamental”, añade. Esta segunda edición, la primera se celebró en Madrid y Tenerife, se desarrollará en tres acciones que se llevarán a cabo en este mes de octubre en Rincón de la Victoria con una exposición, talleres y un desfile. A partir del 10 de octubre, Día Mundial de la Salud Mental, y hasta el 25 de octubre, la Casa Fuerte Bezmiliana acogerá la exposición en la que participarán 46 artistas con sus proyectos más personales. Cada uno de los artistas y creadores participantes han utilizado diferentes técnicas como cortos, pintura, fotografía, escultura, joyería, moda, etc., para expresar, a través de sus obras, las situaciones a las que se han tenido que enfrentar ellos mismos o a través de seres cercanos. “Estas obras nos ayudan y muestran su capacidad de adaptación y aceptación de las nuevas realidades a las que tienen que enfrentarse y de cómo esto puede ayudar a otros a que puedan sentirse identificados en alguna de las situaciones que se presentan”, explica el alcalde. El 11 de octubre, a las 19.00 horas, se celebrará el desfile de moda y joyería inclusivo en el que participarán casi un centenar de modelos que mostrarán las creaciones de 15 diseñadores. Será una pasarela de moda inclusiva que contará con modelos profesionales gracias a la colaboración de la Agencia de Modelos Manuel Beltrán, sino que también desfilarán miembros de nuestras asociaciones como Asalbez, las asociaciones de mujeres, Amirax, Cruz Roja, Rincón Contigo, Cárita, etc, y la colaboración de la Escuela de Maquillaje y Peluquería, Antonio Eloy, y a Guillermo Cano. También se llevarán a cabo talleres de arte terapia y creatividad con asociaciones, colegios e institutos del municipio, en la propia Casa Fuerte Bezmiliana durante ocho días y en horario de mañana y tarde. El alcalde ha incidido en el especial interés de este proyecto, “dada la elevadísima cifra de personas que se quitaron la vida en España en 2023, hablamos de 3.952 personas, o que los suicidios constituyen la causa de muerte externa más frecuente entre los hombres, que muestran una clara visión de la gravedad de la situación”. Por último, el regidor ha querido agradecer la participación de asociaciones como Rincón Contigo, Artes y Costumbres, Alelí, Centro Cultural Bezmiliana, Amanecer de la Torre, Asalbez, Amuaxa, Amirax, Mujeres en Igualdad, Benalbinas, Autismo en Positivo, OSMA (Asociación Colostomizadis de Málaga), AECC (Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer), Cruz Roja, Papilio y Cáritas, y del resto que se unirán.

Tobias Trübenbacher ist mit zwei Geschwistern in dem oberbayerischen Städtchen Bad Reichenhall aufgewachsen, nahe der Stadt Salzburg, inmitten von Bergen und Natur. Nach Absolvieren des Abiturs arbeitete er zunächst am Landestheater Salzburg als Statist und Hospitant, bevor er ein Studium für Industriedesign an der Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften in München begann. Nach fünf Semestern, sowie einem achtmonatigen Praktikum beim Münchner Designbüro Atelier Steffen Kehrle, entschied Tobias die Hochschule zu wechseln und setzte sein Studium an der Universität der Künste (Produktdesign) in Berlin fort. Tobias unterbrach das Studium während der Corona-Pandemie für eine knapp einjährige Tätigkeit als Junior Designer bei Studio Mark Braun, bevor er erfolgreich an der UdK mit seiner Abschlussarbeit PAPILIO absolvierte. Das Projekt wurde mit mehreren Preisen ausgezeichnet — unter anderem dem renommierten Braun Price 2021, dem James Dyson Award, dem Green Concept Award, sowie dem Deutschen Nachhaltigkeitspreis (Laudatio von Dr. Michael Braungart). In der Folge dessen war er als Designer bei Konstantin Grcic Design in Berlin tätig und arbeitete dort an verschiedenen Projekten, unter anderem für Vitra, Alpi, Plank, das Haus am Waldsee und das Concéntrico Design Festival. Um unsere Lebensräume und die damit einhergehenden Konsumgewohnheiten, sowie Material- und Stoffkreisläufe noch umfassender und fundierter (um-)gestalten zu können, absolviert Tobias seit 2022 zwei Masterstudiengänge in Architektur und Urbanistik an der Technischen Universität München. Daneben war er 2022 als Gastdozent an der Burg Giebichenstein tätig und ist 2023 als Gastkritiker in die Lehre an der Angewandten in Wien (Klasse Stefan Diez) involviert. Darüber hinaus arbeitet Tobias neben dem Masterstudium weiter an der Umsetzung und Weiterentwicklung seiner Straßenlaterne PAPILIO. Tobias ist seit 2017 Stipendiat der Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes und wurde durch den Rat für Formgebung als Deutscher Newcomer Designer 2023 ausgezeichnet. Ab 2024 werden ausgewählte Arbeiten in der Ausstellung „Transformers: Design und Energie“ im Vitra Design Museum gezeigt werden.

Papilio glaucus, the eastern tiger swallowtail, is a species of butterfly native to eastern North America. It is one of the most familiar butterflies in the eastern United States, ranging north to southern Ontario, Canada, and is common in many different habitats. It flies from spring until fall, during which it produces two to three broods.

Cuando comparas las aves de un césped cortado con las que viven en un parche de capulines (Prunus virginiana), la diferencia es fuerte. Talvez el césped mantendría a unos estorninos pintos (Sturnus vulgaris) y mirlos primavera (Turdus migratorius). Es posible que, al final de la migración primaveral, unos desesperados zorzales de anteojos (Catharus ustulatus) pudieran pasar por ahí. Los capulines, al otro lado, mantienen una intrincada comunidad de vida, desde la mariposa cometa xochiquetzal (Papilio multicaudata) hasta docenas de especies de aves. Cuando las frutas maduran a ser jugosas y de color negro profundo al final del verano, atraen chinitos (Bombycilla cedrorum), clarines norteños (Myadestes townsendii), pirangas capucha roja (Piranga ludoviciana), mirlos primavera y pinzones mexicanos (Haemorhous mexicanus). Por otra parte, a través de la estación de crecimiento, las hojas mantienen a diversos insectos - y las aves que los comen. Puedes ver chipes corona negra (Cardellina pusilla) revoloteando por las hojas, así como reyezuelos matraquita (Regulus calendula), chipes rabadilla amarilla (Setophaga coronata) y vireos gorjeadores (Vireo gilvus).

Sur le festival Périples&Cie à Mâcon, Nicolas Moulin raconte, au micro de la webradio dédiée au voyage Allô la Planète, son expédition en Centrafrique pour trouver le plus grand papillon de jour d'Afrique.  C'est à l'automne 2019, que cet entomologiste passionné, accepte de  prendre part à une expédition au cœur de la forêt tropicale de République centrafricaine. L'objectif de celle-ci est plus que motivant : débusquer le Papilio antimachus – le plus grand papillon de jour d'Afrique – et étudier ses chenilles, réputées pour ne jamais avoir été observées  scientifiquement. Sur place, pourtant, si l'insecte se cache, les  membres de l'équipe ne tardent pas à dévoiler leur vrai visage, et l'expédition tourne au pugilat. Dans son livre "Sa Majesté des papillons", Nicolas Moulin partage une  expérience qui s'intéresse tout autant aux insectes qu'aux hommes.

The event is part of the 2009 celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the publication of Darwin's 'Origin of Species' and his 200th birthday. The lecture will focus on Darwin, Darwinism and butterflies (Darwin, himself, did not say or do much with butterflies, although what he did say was very interesting). The lecture will touch on Henry Walter Bates on mimicry (a key debate in history of Darwinism), and Alfred Russel Wallace versus Darwin on sexual selection; two examples of where Darwinian 'transference' (proposed by Darwin for birds) appears to have affected butterfly evolution (one, Papilio dardanus, in concert with Batesian mimicry, the other, Appias nero, not). The lecture will conclude with an assessment of the role of behaviour versus genes in evolution.
