At Passover, we gather with friends and family to retell the story of Israel’s swift exodus from Egypt. It is God’s redemption story, sparing His people from the Egyptian plagues and ultimately delivering them from slavery and death. Rich Freeman of Chosen People Ministries will join Tuesday’s Mornings with Eric and Brigitte to discuss ways to honor Jesus as the Passover Lamb. https://chosenpeople.com/event/virtual-messiah-in-the-passover/Donate to Moody Radio: http://moodyradio.org/donateto/morningshow/wrmbSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
A recent study reveals a strong demand for AI and advanced solutions among businesses, yet a significant gap exists in satisfaction with the return on investment (ROI). With 95% of surveyed clients planning to invest in technologies like AI and IoT, 86% feel pressured to demonstrate results, while 64% admit their investments have not met expectations. This discrepancy presents a unique opportunity for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and solution providers who possess the skills and knowledge to deliver effective AI implementations that yield tangible results, thereby enhancing client loyalty and profitability.Rich Freeman and Dennis O'Shea, experts in the field, discuss the current landscape of AI adoption and the challenges faced by organizations. Many clients are seeking tactical solutions, such as initial licenses for experimentation, while grappling with questions around use cases, data security, and the need for employee empowerment in utilizing AI tools. The conversation highlights the importance of understanding the specific needs of clients and the necessity of securing data before rolling out AI solutions. As the discussion progresses, the focus shifts to the evolving role of MSPs in the workforce. With the rise of agentic AI—technology that can autonomously perform tasks traditionally handled by technicians—there is uncertainty about the future job landscape. Experts predict that roles such as level one and level two support may become obsolete, while new positions focused on overseeing AI agents and ensuring effective communication between technology and users will emerge. The need for individuals who can bridge the gap between technical concepts and human understanding will be crucial. The conversation concludes with insights into the coding landscape, where AI is increasingly taking over coding tasks, allowing for a new generation of developers who can leverage AI tools to create solutions. This shift presents both challenges and opportunities for MSPs, as they must adapt to a changing environment where coding becomes more accessible. The emphasis on solving business problems and delivering tailored solutions will be essential for maintaining relevance and profitability in the evolving tech landscape. Richard Freeman joins the show to discuss the OASIS plan as developed by the Schiller Institute to try to bring peace to the Middle East. We know that peace has not been achieved by all the methods whether diplomatic or militaristic and things seem to be getting worse. So why not try the OASIS plan which would be a cooperative effort to bring salt water in, desalinate it, and then provide clean fresh water to the Palestinians, Israelis, Jordanians, Egyptians, Syrians, and more to irrigate, drink, and what water does. Then Rich discusses a 60-year-old plan to bring water, that would rain into the ocean, from Alaska to the southwest US to help irrigate and support sustainable vegetation and reduce the impact of the fires.
Host Dave Sobel welcomes Seth Robinson, Vice President of Industry Research at CompTIA, and Rich Freeman, a seasoned journalist and analyst specializing in the SMB channel. The discussion centers around CompTIA's recently released outlook for 2025, which highlights the ongoing optimism within the technology sector, particularly among IT professionals and channel firms. Despite this optimism, the report reveals a concerning trend: fewer than half of businesses express confidence in their basic IT services, a decline from a decade ago. This lack of confidence may hinder the adoption of advanced technologies, prompting a deeper exploration of the factors influencing these sentiments.Seth elaborates on the dual nature of the current technology landscape, where businesses are eager to invest in technology for strategic purposes but are simultaneously seeking measurable returns on those investments. The conversation touches on the challenges faced by IT professionals as decision-makers demand more certainty regarding the effectiveness of their technology expenditures. Rich adds to this discussion by highlighting the broader economic uncertainties, including geopolitical tensions and fluctuating interest rates, which contribute to a cautious approach to IT spending. The episode also delves into the potential impact of increased regulation on managed service providers (MSPs). Both Seth and Rich discuss the sentiment among MSPs regarding the need for stricter regulations to elevate industry standards and eliminate subpar competitors. While some MSPs may view regulation as a necessary headache, they recognize that it could ultimately benefit the industry by fostering trust and accountability among service providers. Finally, the conversation shifts to the rise of bespoke platforms and the growing trend of international business among channel firms. Seth notes that many companies are increasingly looking to operate globally, driven by the demand for data services and cybersecurity solutions. This trend presents both opportunities and challenges, particularly in navigating varying regulations across different regions. The episode concludes with a reflection on the importance of data management and infrastructure as businesses seek to leverage AI and other technologies effectively, emphasizing the need for MSPs to build the necessary skills to meet these evolving demands. References to Bethlehem often appear in Christmas songs, cards, and devotionals. The prophet Micah wrote that Israel's future ruler would be born in Bethlehem (Mic 5:2–5a). These verses, though, do much more than just name the Messiah's birthplace. They also indicate the Messiah's eternal nature and universal reign. In this episode, we discuss why Bethlehem is significant and what this prophecy tells us about Jesus. Our guest is Rich Freeman, DMin. After placing his trust in Jesus the Messiah, he pursued vocational ministry and has pastored several churches and messianic congregations. He has served with Chosen People Ministries since 1999 as Vice President of Church Ministries and Conferences. Support this podcast
Assorted Scriptures | 12/5/2021 | Rich Freeman. What's the greatest day in Jewish history? The day the Jewish Messiah came to earth. The Scriptures tell us how the Messiah would come, where the Messiah would come, when the Messiah would come, and why the Messiah would come.
Why do Christians believe what they believe? In today's cultural climate, it's critical that Christians know where their beliefs come from and the foundations of their faith. Join Mornings with Eric and Brigitte on Tuesday as Dr. Rich Freeman from Chosen People Ministries takes us on a journey to better understand what the prophets foretold about the coming Messiah, Jesus' life in its Jewish context, and the rich heritage of our faith. In the Bible, the shepherd is a common image of the Messiah. One of the clearest examples of this is Ezekiel 34:20–31, which speaks of a descendant of David who will care selflessly for Israel, like a shepherd does for his sheep. We have invited returning guest Rich Freeman, DMin, who is the director of Church Ministries and Conferences and one of the vice presidents of Chosen People Ministries, to help us better understand this prophecy and how it was fulfilled by Yeshua. Or so say Matt, Rich, and their guest host, cloud consultant and entrepreneur Jamison West.
