If you enjoy the content and were ever thinking of sending me a topic and funds to cover it this would be the time. I've decided that I won't stop making content entirely as the Sandman but worst case scenario I'll take it down to 1 memes video each week. That will keep me caught up with what's going on in this work world. Speaking of woke I'm going to try and release this video as quickly as I can. SVB, or silicon valley bank, the 2nd largest bankruptcy in US banking history just happened and as I'm putting this together two other banks have gone bust. The FDIC is going to make depositors at SVB or Silicon Vagina Bank whole and that's pretty much going to mean they will spend most of the money they have allocated for that. But what happens if and when other banks go bust? I think that right now they can only cover around 1-2% of all deposits in US banks that are insured. So if there's a systematic collapse then the only other option is for bank bailouts which means flooding the system with printed money fueling further inflation. Or letting deflation take hold and wipe people's 401ks and savings away. The crazy thing about svb is that they were so worried about hiring women that they didn't seem to think about the consequences. Why would they care when the market in tech stocks has been going straight up for almost 15 years. They were lending money to big tech startups. According to this tweet by Matt Braynard he asks Why is all the focus on SVB's failure of losing all their investments and not on the accomplishment of having the only all-female investment committee in the banking industry? Pay attention to what really matters. Empowerment and diversity. One of them is even a Karen. Not only that by but the cheif risk manager was Kim Olson. To be fair the majority of the top dogs were bros and not bitches. But still the woke head of risk management was too busy organizing a month-long lgbtqlmnop before the company went broke. Jay Esprah this queer person of color from a working class background has been accused of prioritizing alphabet people initiatives instead of doing her actual job which was risk management. But to be fair everyone had to buy government bonds. Once the yields on newly issued bonds jumped with interest rates that meant that the price of the ones yielding lower interest rates dropped because the price of bonds is inversely proportional to the interest rate.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/mgtow/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Food security is now a worldwide issue. To keep up with a rising population, the global agriculture sector will need to produce more food by 2050 than was produced in the last 8,000 years combined. Yet, the agricultural sector is confronted with growing challenges, ranging from less arable land and water to a lack of broadband access in rural America, which impedes innovation and growth.Land O'Lakes, one of America's premier agribusiness and food companies, is a farmer- and retailer-owned cooperative that is inextricably linked to the success of the people producing and growing our food. Driven by their purpose, Rooted in Tomorrow, the organization is actively advancing solutions to build a sustainable future for farmers and a safe and reliable food supply. Land O'Lakes' initiatives support farmers globally through grantmaking, leveraging the latest tools to help farmers profitably transition to more sustainable agriculture practices, and increasing the representation of women in agriculture. We invited Kim Olson, Chief Communications Officer, to share how Land O'Lakes is strengthening its role as a leader in sustainable production while building on sustainable practices that farmers have been implementing for generations.Listen for insights on:Driving strategic and substantial impact as a company that serves all stakeholdersCreating resonant and inspirational communications that educate consumers about the journey of food from farm to tableCollaborating with stakeholders to identify the right solutionsAdvice for the C-Suite related to remaining authentic and developing a strong relationship with your CEOResources + Links:Kim Olson's LinkedInShe-I-OAmerican Connection ProjectTruterraVenture37 (00:00) - Welcome to Purpose 360 (00:14) - Kim Olson • Land O' Lakes (03:03) - Meet Kim (06:05) - Being a Steward (07:00) - Rural America Today (11:24) - Engaging Stakeholders (15:18) - CEO Beth Ford (16:49) - American Connection Project (22:55) - Innovation and Truterra (27:18) - Packaging (28:40) - The Foundation (30:48) - What's Next? Kim Olson is Chief Communications Officer at Land O'Lakes, one of America's leading marketers of dairy-based food products for consumers, foodservice professionals, and food manufacturers. Land O'Lakes also offers local cooperatives and agricultural producers across the nation an extensive line of agricultural supplies, as well as state-of-the-art production and business services. Kim's history includes positions with UnitedHealth Group, Carlson, and General Mills. In this conversation with Lippe Taylor CEO, Paul Dyer, Kim gets into keys to supporting female executive leadership, how comms leaders should approach getting a seat at the executive leadership table, and how to launch an effective brand podcast. Feel free to listen to the entire conversation on Lippe Taylor's Frictionless Marketing Podcast. Launch a niche podcast. The Land O'Lakes Something Greater podcast is in its third season and is a big success among its shareholders and partners. Kim was concerned nobody would listen because of the podcast's HYPER targeted focus on agriculture, but this turned out to be its greatest strength. The podcast focuses on issues facing farmers, legislators, and food manufacturers and topics range from everything from carbon footprints and labor shortages to agricultural technology. This allows Land O'Lakes to effect change by becoming thought leaders in specific areas that matter most to their core constituents. The more women who reach the top, the easier it will be for other women to join them there. Land O'Lakes is strong on female leadership. Kim offered advice to other companies that would like to see more women in charge. “The more that women reach the top, the more opportunities there will be for still other women to rise. The women who get there first can and should open the doors for larger numbers of women at the C-suite level. The fact that bright, qualified, extraordinary women can line right up with bright, qualified, extraordinary men in an equal way is really exciting.” CEO support is crucial for comms leaders to have a seat at the table. A chief executive officer who relies on comms to “move the needle on business and reputation” will likely prompt others in the C-suite to pay closer heed to what comms has to say with regard to strategic planning and decision-making affecting the company as a whole, instead of just the marketing arm. As Kim said “when you have a CEO who has used communications to make progress, other folks see the value and then you're able to spread that halo up. And if you've got a CEO behind you who says what you do is valuable, the possibilities are endless.” ----- Produced by https://podcastlaunch.pro (Simpler Media)

Land O’Lakes, Inc. includes 1,711 dairy family farmers. They are the backbone of our farmer-owned cooperative that has expanded to much more than butter in its nearly 100-year history. Before your food winds up on your dinner table, it takes a farmer to fork journey. In this episode, we trace the humble beginnings of that holiday cheese plate and that glass of milk left for Santa. The families who produce your food and how Land O’Lakes turns it into those iconic products, like our butter, that wind up on grocery store shelves. Join host Kim Olson as she welcomes guests Heather Anfang, Senior Vice President of U.S. Dairy Foods and Land O’Lakes farmer-owner Lauren Evangelo.
Agriculture is more high tech than ever before. From artificial intelligence to cloud computing technologies, there is so much innovation out there to support farmers in their efforts to be both profitable and sustainable. Three-quarters of counties with the highest rates of food insecurity exist in rural areas – and yet these small farming communities produce much of the food for the nation. The challenges of feeding a rural population are unique from that in an urban setting. Land O’Lakes, Inc. along with its partners, Feeding America and Second Harvest Heartland are doing the work in supporting rural communities and providing food to those in need. Join host Kim Olson as she welcomes Land O’Lakes, Inc. CEO Beth Ford, Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, CEO of Feeding America and Allison O’Toole, CEO of Second Harvest Heartland, to talk about the sometimes surprising problems and creative solutions in feeding a growing population and addressing hunger in rural communities.
About a quarter of Americans in rural areas believe high-speed internet and the lack thereof, is a major problem. Access to rural broadband disproportionally affects those in rural areas – and having that access is no longer a luxury, it’s a necessity for work and overall quality of life. Land O’Lakes, Inc. is working with its cooperative members, internet providers and stakeholders to bridge the gap. In this episode host Kim Olson sits down Chakravarthy Sankaraiah, Director of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence at Land O’Lakes, Inc. Also, one of our farmer-owners – Pat Lunemann, is involved with a pilot program to bring more connectivity to the countryside.
To hear God's voice is so important and apparently, so simple! There is not one person who couldn't profit from hearing from God. The worst of fights could be settled and transformed into peace with just one word from God. The biggest of worries could be lifted in a moment - when God speaks. The most horrible illnesses could be healed, the strongest desires could be stilled, the deepest of questions answered - when God speaks. Apparently God speaks all the time, and since Jesus said: "My sheep hear my voice" -- those who follow him, can hear him... just hear him. Period. So much for the theory :-/ In "real life" It just sounds so different: If I talk to honest people, a lot of them are craving to hear from God, maybe for his guidance and for him to speak right into their situation, but can't hear anything. Others seem to hear something all the time, but aren't sure if they can trust these impressions that they have. Again, others are afraid to hear from God, since it could get uncomfortable quite quickly. Let's not forget that some people have done horrendous acts, all the while being sure they were following the voice of God. So hearing from God is simple? Are you kidding me? That's exactly why this Sunday we've invited Dave and Kim Olson from Canada to talk about this: Hearing from God. How?

Happy Black History Month! We explore some of the historical reasons why Austin's African American community has been shrinking as the rest of the city grows, and we learn about ways to support our African American neighbors and friends. Plus, we embarrass ourselves trying to answer questions from the citizenship test and shake our heads at all the ways sex ed let us down. A listener contacted us to say she could find no evidence of this, and we also have not been able to verify this claim and our guest also could not locate the original source. However, he did provide this information: "The data also showed disparities in two rural Northern California communities: in Chico, when Latinos did apply for such loans, they were nearly 2.5 times more likely than whites to be denied. In Salinas, they were 1.7 times more likely to be denied. The analysis compared applicants with similar incomes, loan amounts and purchasing neighborhood, among other factors" (US News). Sheri is part of the 25th US Congressional District in Texas. She's following and has met multiple candidates on her ballot, including those for US House of Representatives for District 25, Texas Agricultural Commissioner, Lt. Governor, and Texas Attorney General. Sheri talks about why she's voting for candidates Julie Oliver, Kim Olson, Mike Collier, and Justin Nelson, among others. We spoke to her at a busy Austin popsicle shop.
Are you concerned about the lunches served at your child's school? Concerned about the produce and meat you consume? Ever wondered where or how you can even make an impact in those areas? Well, this is where the Agricultural Commissioner comes in and YOU get to have a say as to who that will be this November. The incumbent, Sid Miller, has had plenty of contentious news despite his work on the job. He has compared Syrian refugees to rattlesnakes, used taxpayer dollars to get the “Jesus shot”, and posting jokes about Pakistan recruiting suicide bombers from a suicide hotline. So, check out our interview with Kim Olson and hear about her platform and how she hopes to include the diversity of Texans in the food you eat!
Kim Olson, the Democratic Candidate of Texas Commissioner for Agriculture sits down with The Bayou Blue Democrats to discuss her campaign and policy positions and why it is so important to have a Commissioner for Agriculture who can work with all interest groups across this great state of ours.Support the show (https://secure.actblue.com/donate/texasblue2018)
Col. Kim Olson, the Democratic Nominee for Texas Commissioner of Agriculture, joined us on the podcast to discuss why agriculture is so important to the American economy and the American people.
You might think that the Agricultural Commissioner isn't that big of a deal. Well, Kim Olson is here to tell you how you're wrong, but in an informative way that won't make you feel bad about yourself at all. Then she'll inspire the crap out of you and make you believe you can do anything. Not too shabby for a country mouse from Texas.

This week, we're joined by Ag Commissioner Candidate Kim Olson to discuss issues affecting rural Texas, including rural health care, Monsanto and how access to broadband internet ties it all together. Also, Texas House District 11 Candidate Alec Johnson joins us to discuss Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's upset victory in the New York Democratic primary, her platform, and how that could work in East Texas. But first, we're joined again by Mike and Nancy Nichols to talk voter registration, and a bit of voter suppression that happened in Jefferson, Tx on Independence Day 2018.

We eat every day. But what we put in our bodies makes all the difference in the world to our health. Starting off early in life by learning to choose a nutritional diet is the foundation of a vibrant population. And yet, diabetes is at an epidemic level among Texan children, largely due to uninformed nutritional choices by caregivers.
