In the first episode of 2025, Mikah and Abrar discuss Meta's plans to add AI bots to their social media platforms, the rise of AI-generated phishing scams, the trend of parents giving their kids retro tech devices to reduce screen time, and the current state and future potential of passkeys for secure logins. Meta plans to populate Facebook and Instagram with AI-generated bot accounts that can create content, share posts, and interact with users, in an effort to drive engagement as user growth stagnates. Abrar and Mikah debate the pros and cons of AI bots on social media. Cybersecurity experts have seen a significant increase in sophisticated phishing scams using AI to generate hyper-personalized messages mimicking people's communication styles, with over 90% of successful cyberattacks now beginning with phishing emails. Abrar and Mikah discuss cybersecurity training and email filtering used by companies to combat this. There's a growing trend of parents gifting their kids retro tech like Walkmans, portable CD players, and MP3 players in an effort to reduce screen time. Mikah and Abrar reflect on the appeal of single-purpose devices and bonding over music. Passkeys, a new login technology aiming to replace passwords, have seen increasing adoption but face usability challenges and inconsistent implementation across sites and devices. Mikah explains how passkeys work and recommends using password managers for now, as both hosts agree passkeys aren't quite ready for mainstream adoption yet.
Rich offers his hands on impressions of the new Apple products: iPhone 16 models, Apple Watches and AirPods. Bill in Los Angeles wonders if those websites offering a free iPhone 15 are legit.
In this episode, Michael Glenn and Colin Fowler discuss pioneering innovation and disruption with serial entrepreneur Nathan Schulhof.
Mix it Baby! The advent of digitization of audio in the early 1990s led to a new wave of portable audio devices, which were markedly different from the Walkman or Discman. The MP3 player represented an entirely new wave of portable audio and it paved the way for iPods and listening devices that we use today. Take a listen to learn how and why this happened.

Hicaps New Terminals Accessible to Blind or Low vision These are the EFTPOS terminals you find in allied health centres that you use to pay for your service and/or your private health fund. I've noticed over the last few weeks these accessible terminals popping up at the Chiropractor, physiotherapist, and Optometrist. Man musste also investieren in eigene, neue Hardware, das Gerät. Was heisst sich lohnen? --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/audiostretto/message
Wiederholt beging Peter Vogt Sexualstrafen.

We can get a lot more excited about building a new home. When Steve Jobs introduced the iPod, he wasn't introducing an improvement offer (CD 10-15 songs, MP3 Player 150 songs…) He didn't present something that was better or faster. Instead, he created a new category, a “new opportunity.” As you look at everyone you are competing against, how can you create a New Opportunity? Think of your goal not as fixing something for your audience, think of it from the perspective of replace what's not working with something different. 1. What's the result they are trying to achieve? 2. What are they currently doing to try to get that result? 3. How can you create a New Opportunity? When we've talked about marketing in the past, we've talked about entering the conversation that's happening in your prospects mind and answering one of two questions: - What's the pain they have but don't want? - What's the result they want but don't have?
