We're celebrating our 10th anniversary all year by digging in the vaults to re-present classic episodes with fresh commentary. Today, we're revisiting our 2021 conversation with Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. ABOUT JIMMY JAM & TERRY LEWISWith 26 Billboard #1 R&B hits and 16 Billboard #1 pop hits to their credit, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis are perhaps the most influential and successful songwriting and production duo in modern music history. With a total of 41 Top 10 hits in the US, Jimmy and Terry were named ASCAP Songwriters of the Year a record-breaking nine times. They are perhaps best known for their work with Janet Jackson, beginning with the Control album, which earned the duo a Grammy for Producer of the Year. Between 1986 and 1994 they scored thirteen #1 songs with Janet on either the R&B or pop chart, including “What Have You Done For Me Lately,” “Nasty,” “When I Think of You,” “Control,” “Let's Wait Awhile,” “Miss You Much,” “Rhythm Nation,” “Escapade” “Love Will Never Do (Without You),” “The Best Things in Life Are Free,” “That's the Way Love Goes,” “Any Time, Any Place,” and “Again,” which earned Jimmy, Terry, and Janet an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song. Jimmy and Terry got their start as musicians with Morris Day and the Time, the Prince-produced band whose biggest hit was the Jam and Lewis-penned “Jerk Out.” They made the transition to a successful songwriting and production team working with the S.O.S. band, which landed a #2 R&B hit with “Just Be Good to Me.” From there, they made their mark on pop and R&B hits for decades to come. In addition to their work with Jackson, the duo wrote and produced the #1 pop singles “Human” by Human League, “Romantic” by Karyn White, “Thank God I Found You” by Mariah Carey, and the Boyz II Men singles “On Bended Knee” and “4 Seasons of Loneliness.” Additional R&B chart toppers include “Encore” by Cheryl Lynn, “Fake” by Alexander O'Neal, “Everything I Miss at Home” by Cherelle, “Sensitivity” by Ralph Tresvant, and the Johnny Gill singles “Rub You the Right Way” and “Wrap My Body Tight.” Other highlights from their catalog include New Edition's “If It Isn't Love” and “I'm Still in Love With You,” “No More Drama” by Mary J. Blige, Robert Palmer's hit pop cover of their Cherelle single “I Didn't Mean to Turn You On,” and recordings by Gladys Knight & The Pips, Barry White, Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Usher, Spice Girls, Aretha Franklin, Charlie Wilson, Ledisi, Sting, Elton John, Beyonce, Rihanna, Rod Stewart, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Gwen Stefani, Willie Nelson, and many others.Always versatile, the duo has earned Grammy awards for Best R&B Album for Chaka Kahn's Funk This, Best Gospel Song for Yolanda Adams' “Be Blessed,” and Best Dance Recording for Janet Jackson's #1 pop and R&B hit “All For You.” Additional Jackson hits that were written and produced with Jam and Lewis include the Janet and Michael Jackson hit “Scream” and the #1 singles “Together Again,” “I Get Lonely,” “Doesn't Really Matter,” and the Nelly duet “Call On Me.”In total the team has earned over 100 gold, platinum, multi-platinum and diamond album certifications from the RIAA, have received more Producer of the Year Grammy nominations than anyone in history, earned the NAACP Lifetime Achievement Award, and were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

You know it's going to be a wild ride when Vicki Joy Anderson is in the house! This episode is a no-holds-barred deep dive into spiritual warfare, the challenges of isolation in fringe Christian circles, and the struggle of navigating biblical truth in a world full of traditions and misconceptions. We talk about deconstruction without destruction, the pitfalls of making secondary issues into deal-breakers, and the lost art of constructive correction among believers. Send us a textThis show started out as an exploration of Jack Henry's 7th annual Strategy Benchmark Survey where CEOs of credit unions and banks reveal what really matters to them. It's a data trich survey, there's a link in the show notes and I say that because the talk with Lee Wetherington – Senior Director of Corporate Strategy at Jack Henry quickly veered into what's happening in Washington DC and how changes - especially at CFPB - may impact credit unions.Along the way we discuss how this is an age where data rules, open banking is coming at you ready or not, you probably don't know your members nearly as well as you think, and small business relationships probably aren't what you think but they may well be critical to the future of many credit unions.Does that spicy stew have your taste buds dancing with excitement? It should because this is a show that plunges into the unexpected but it's stuff you need to know about banking tomorrow.Listen up.Like what you are hearing? Pastor Byron's message is from Numbers 11:1-3 and titled, "Does Prayer Really Matter?" Using Numbers 11, it shows that God's judgment was stopped when Moses prayed—proving that prayer changes outcomes. Prayer isn't about getting our way but aligning with God's will. Even when the answer is "no," as with Paul's thorn or unanswered prayers for healing, prayer still matters. It draws us closer to God, sustains us in trials, and gives peace that passes understanding. We pray because God hears, responds, and commands us to—and because it's often all we have.
This week on Nail on Sunday, we're getting into the look and feel of your business — does the aesthetic of your social media and salon really make a difference?
In this week's episode we're answering one of YOUR questions with a combination of expert tips, personal experience, and a bunch of research. The Question: "I think my penis might be too big for comfortable penetrative sex with my girlfriend. We've had open conversations about it and she's super reassuring, but I still end up feeling guilty, like my body is somehow making things harder (pun unintended, but also… not wrong). What is actually considered a “normal” penis size? Do women even care about size as much as we're led to believe? And most importantly—how do we make penetrative sex work for both of us, or what are some other ways we can stay intimate without feeling like we're missing out?" We're covering: What the research says about "normal" penis size and what partners are looking for Alternatives to PIV sex that you can try Tips for making PIV sex more comfortable (toy, tools, and positions) Are some penises too big for condoms? How to find YOUR condom size BONUS: tips for if you feel like your penis is too "small" for penetrative sex Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Adam and Scott get back together to chat about Arsenal's 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace. It was a disappointing and pretty low-quality display but does it matter? The big topics from the match:* Kiwior shining after a run of games* Trossard looking sharp as the false nine* Any worries about the defense or just a one offThe next topic is about Arsenal's chances for staying in the top 5 and in the top 2. We give our thoughts on the outlook, while looking at the rivals end of season fixtures and what points total Arsenal needs to feel safe.To finish in the top 5, the magic number is probably 68 points and almost certainly 70 points for Arsenal. To finish 2nd, they probably need 73-75 but could scrape it at a lower number.Adam wrote up a post today on what this could mean. The last topic is a look ahead to PSG. The different position battles, thoughts on how the game will go, and a prayer that this doesn't go to penalties because neither of our hearts could take it. This is a public episode. Enterprise Connect 2025 Podcast | Technology Reseller News (Previously LIVE at Enterprise Connect 2025) “If you can't dial 911, nothing else really matters,” says Mark Fletcher, CEO of 911inform and one of the nation's foremost advocates for 911 modernization. Speaking with Doug Green at Enterprise Connect 2025, Fletcher sheds light on the critical, and often overlooked, challenges enterprises face in achieving compliance with federal emergency communications laws. In this special episode of Technology Reseller News, Fletcher discusses the evolution of emergency services from basic 911 access to next-generation 911 (NG911) deployments. Many enterprises still fall short on key requirements like dispatchable location—especially as workforces have become more mobile and distributed. Fletcher, who played a pivotal role in crafting and advocating for legislation such as Kari's Law and the RAY BAUM's Act explains how these laws transitioned from FCC rules to enforceable federal mandates under Title 47 of the U.S. Code. Fletcher urges IT managers and telecom professionals to consult with experts who specialize in 911 compliance. He emphasizes that the complexity of these laws—combined with the shift to IP-based and nomadic communications—requires careful planning and a multidisciplinary approach. “Telecom engineers aren't legal experts, and police departments aren't telecom engineers,” he says, highlighting the importance of cross-functional strategy. Fletcher's company, 911inform, goes beyond compliance, offering full-scale emergency event management that integrates panic buttons, gunshot and license plate detection, and IoT-triggered alerts into an intelligent NG911 payload for first responders. As more emergency calls originate from devices—not humans—solutions like these are becoming essential. In Episode 407 of Hidden Forces, Demetri Kofinas speaks with the Macro Tourist's Kevin Muir about the power of fiscal spending and why fiscal austerity and trade tariffs will lead to lower asset prices, U.S. equity market underperformance, and a falling U.S. dollar. Kevin and Demetri spend the first hour of this podcast discussing the importance of fiscal policy and why government spending has been one of the biggest sources of outperformance for investors in the last five years. They discuss why that's the case, why the effects of fiscal policy continue to be overlooked and discounted relative to monetary policy, and what this means going forward if we take the Trump team at his word about wanting to reduce the deficit and scale back on fiscal spending. In the second hour, Muir and Kofinas dig even deeper into the fiscal spending implications for U.S. equity and bond markets, concerns about rotation risk into global equities, the investment opportunities in Europe and Asia, downside risks to the US dollar, the China gold put, and much more. From a biological perspective, there's a limited window for getting pregnant, spanning from reproductive age through menopause. While that offers many years of opportunity, there's never a perfect time to have a baby. You might find yourself expecting earlier than planned, or life may lead you to parenthood later than you imagined. Whether you're in your 20s, 30s, or 40s, age can influence many aspects of pregnancy, like fertility, potential risks, and even emotional or financial readiness. Many women feel pressure to have children before their 35th birthday. This idea stems from classifying pregnancy at 35 or older as “advanced maternal age.” Although this label is based on increased statistical risks, this high-risk label can create unnecessary anxiety. Especially considering most pregnancies in this age group are healthy and uncomplicated. There are also real advantages to becoming a parent in your mid-thirties or beyond. In this episode, we'll explore how pregnancy experiences can vary across ages, what the evidence says about the risks of advanced maternal age, and how you can make confident, informed choices no matter where you are on your journey to parenthood. Wild creatures and wild places have always stirred me – from the first flushing pheasant that frightened me out of my socks in grandpa's cornfield to the last whitetail that dismissed me with a wag of its tail. In my attempts to connect with this natural wonder, to become an integral part of our ecosystem and capture a bit of its mystery, I've photographed, hiked, hunted, birded, and fished across much of this planet. I've seen the beauty that everyone should see, survived adventures that everyone should experience. I may not have climbed the highest mountains, canoed the wildest rivers, caught the largest fish or shot the biggest bucks, but I've tried. Perhaps you have, too. And that's the essential thing. Being out there, an active participant in our outdoor world.
