Secrets of Aboriginal Healing: A Physicist's Journey with a Remote Australian Tribe, Amazon affiliate link. This is a powerful healing recipe to jumpstart your return to mind - body - spirit -- whole health healing. Revisiting my archived 2016 interview with Robbie. The information continues to resonate. While physicist Gary Holz was the initial, targeted contact for this information, Robbie's healing story is equally powerful. She has published another book since we last spoke. Time to catch up! Robbie Holz shares how her experiences continue with her [now deceased] husband Gary and offers details about her own journey of transformation. She talks about some of the extraordinary PSI abilities that the two were exposed to while interacting with the indigenous / Aboriginal healers in Australia. She says they view speaking as a less effective method of communication and prefer telepathic interaction. [*That actually underscores and validates the experience I had on the day of our interview.] She offers insight regarding personal issues it helped her to focus on and clear as the key to healing herself of Hepatitis C. Secrets of Aboriginal Healing, Amazon Reviews: 1. - "This book was inspiring, to say the least. I read this hoping to gain some insight into how I might cure my rheumatoid arthritis, and I was not disappointed." 2. - "As a successful scientist with absolute beliefs that there is no such thing as Spirits or alternative healing methods, he is faced with only a few months to live, when he finds himself following his "intuition" and travels to Australia to live in an Aboriginal village and be healed by the village healers. During his stay, his whole belief system is "re-programmed" to the understanding that we are all connected and actually are the "creators" of our own lives, and dis-eases. He learns that by changing our beliefs, we can bring about greater health, happiness, and real wealth in our lives." Synchronicity - The morning of this interview I heard a voice as I was laying in bed. Clear as a bell, as if it was right beside me. Beautiful and resonant. It simply said my name. I believe it to be a telepathic connect from an Aboriginal source and an affirmation of multidimensional consciousness. We are all connected. The abilities shared via Robbie and Gary are tools each of us can tap into - if and when we are called. Connect: Robbie Holz. Link. Books, including Aboriginal Secrets of Awakening, Link Robbie's newest book. Angels in Waiting: How to Reach Out to Your Guardian Angels and Spirit Guides, Amazon affiliate link. Robbie offers an online healing course. Includes meditations and video instructions on how to enlist help from spirit guides. Here is a short healing segment introduction. Hannah is joined by two wonderful guests this week, actress Laura Pradelska, and hypnotherapist Anna Lancaster. Laura opens up and shares how she has struggled with sleep her whole life. She highlights the struggles it has caused her and how it led her to creating her new sleep app ‘Stil'. Laura wants to help as many people as possible improve their sleep and in turn, their mental and physical health. Anna takes us into the fundamentals of sleep, and why it is so important that we are able to get between 7-9 hours sleep a night. Hannah highlights her relationship with sleep, and how much she has always needed a lot of it; she now just owns that that is how her body works, rather than feeling ‘weak' for needing a lot of rest. It is a wonderful, vulnerable and scientific chat, which concludes with how actually, self love can be brought back in here, and perhaps giving ‘radical' self love a try might just change your life! The term "Brown noise" does not come from the color, but after Robert Brown, who documented the erratic motion for multiple types of inanimate particles in water. Can you relate? 2 AM in bed, but you just can't relax, your head is spinning… Nature sounds are one of the best ways to relax and sleep and de-stress. Use nature sounds as a way to fall asleep. Play this sleep podcast with relaxing sounds for sleep when you go to bed or just when you need some calmness in your life. Some of these relaxing sounds include rain, ocean waves, crickets, and the sound of a fireplace. Sounds have a powerful effect on our mood and emotions. They can calm us down, help us focus, and even lull us to sleep. The sounds that you listen to can have a significant impact on your sleep quality. This is because the brain associates the sound with a certain feeling or mood. So if you listen to calming sounds like rain or ocean waves, it will help you relax and fall asleep faster than if you were listening to traffic noise. Some people use white noise machines or thunderstorms as a way of blocking out distracting noises in their environment, such as tinnitus or snoring partners. Nature sounds are a great way to help you sleep better. You can use them as background noise for meditation or for sleep. The most popular type of nature sounds is rain and ocean waves. Many other types of sounds can also be used, such as thunderstorms, waterfall, and baby sleep sounds. These natural noises have been shown to help people fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer than using white noise machines or tinnitus maskers. Have a relaxing day and sleep well :) You spend 1/3 of your life sleeping so do it well. Sleep is your superpower.

#24: Dr. Majeres and Sharif discuss an approach to sleep developed by Dr. Guy Meadows, as found in his book, The Sleep Book, and an app he has called Sleep School for Insomnia. The approach, which is centered around the idea of acceptance, mirrors OptimalWork's approach to any challenge: essentially, applying reframing, mindfulness, and challenge to sleep. We cover the theory and practice of this approach so that you too can master sleep — and use the principles to master anything else! Note: In the conversation, the app was referred to as The Sleep App for Insomnia, but is actually Sleep School for Insomnia.

Music has been called the 'purest form of art', but it's also used by many as a means to fall asleep more easily. But at present, science can tell us very little about the mechanisms behind sleep's role as a therapeutic sleep aid. In today's episode we speak to Thomas Dickson, researcher, app creator and co-author of a recent review examining the existing scientific literature about the different ways music might help us with our sleep, including; relaxation, distraction, entrainment, masking, enjoyment and expectation. In a wide-ranging conversation we discuss how music differs to other audio formats like podcasts and white noise, how binaural beats work, why ACDC might be better to fall asleep to than Beethoven and lots more. Cryotherapy, sleep apps and binaural beats, are just some or the more than 20 hacks Lisa Leong uses to perform her best at work. Are they useful or a complete waste of time and or money? We recruited three scientists to run the research filter over these hacks. DR SHONA HALSON is a leading exercise recovery scientist who has been part of three Olympic campaigns, she sorts the fact from fiction when it comes to cryotherapy. DR SIOBHAN BANKS, neuroscientist and sleep researcher from the University of South Australia, reviews wearable sleep apps and developmental neuroscientist from Monash University DR HANNAH KIRK debunks binaural beats for increasing focus. Lisa's fellow biohackers for high performance at work include DIANNE MCGRATH (Mars One astronaut candidate) and entrepreneur and non-executive director CATHERINE ROBSON.

Have you ever hit the snooze button? I have and every morning I've hit the snooze button I felt like I started my day off with failure. I then asked many other people how they felt after hitting snooze on their alarms and the response has been the same. They were in a negative mental state for the better part of the day—tired, groggy, angry at themselves, feeling like they were already behind and therefore stressed, etc. These observations have led me to an unpopular idea that you should never hit the snooze button because when you do you begin your day as a failure. Hearing that might make you ready to skip this lesson, but allow me to explain, and furthermore, tell you what you can do to prevent that. Once you hear the full lesson, try out my methods and see how positively they affect the way you wake up. That in turn will positively impact the rest of your day. When you do, I'd love to hear how they help you out. Also, if there's any other tips you have for waking up better, more rested, I'd love to know those too.
