They somehow turn the Race to Turin into an argument, people start calling each other losers, and there's already concern these picks may age horribly. The guys also hit the Fan Mailbag, including a hypothetical showdown between 2011 Djokovic and 2026 Jannik Sinner, a trip back to Madrid's old ballgirl era, and a juicy Life Advice involving an aggressively planned family vacation that completely splits the group. Then, we're joined by Nick Pachelli, author of The Tennis Court, for a hunt through some of the most beautiful courts in the world. From satellite scouting and random door-knocking to hidden gems most tennis fans have never heard of, Nick shares stories from years spent chasing the game's coolest locations.Plus, Margaret returns for a Major Match update and gives us a “where are they now?” on the chaos... including what happened after the cameras stopped rolling and whether anyone deserves a second chance.00:00 Intro: We're Back!01:14 Most Beautiful Courts in the World!02:01 How The Book Began04:02 Finding Hidden Courts06:09 Favorites Courts and Private Courts Access09:45 Best US Courts16:24 Where To Buy the Book18:10 Favorite Not Seen Moments20:47 Rankings Predictions Begin22:00 Sam Picks Top 1023:07 Stevie Makes His List24:27 Isner's Time!25:15 Comparing The Picks27:29 Fan Challenge28:44 Madrid Ball Crew Talk31:41 Sinner 2026 Vs Djokovic 2011 34:08 Life Advice: Vacation With Annoying People38:40 Margaret Match Update44:28 Wrap Up And Goodbye!
How to set boundaries when you've spent your whole life saying yes and feeling resentful. This is the Tennis Court Method, the exact system, scripts, and inner work that finally make boundaries hold without guilt, collapse, or counterattack. If you've read every boundary book and still freeze the second someone asks you for something you don't have to give, this video is for you. Kenny Weiss walks you through why boundaries actually fail for high-functioning people pleasers, why "just say no" advice never sticks, and what it actually takes to rewrite the childhood blueprint underneath the resentment, the over-giving, and the constant fear of being seen as mean. You'll get the Tennis Court framework for understanding where you end and another person begins, the Wall of Pleasantness response for when someone takes your inventory or hands you unsolicited advice, and the exact word-for-word boundary script you can practice this week. This video covers the Worst Day Cycle™ (Trauma, Fear, Shame, Denial), the Authentic Self Cycle™ (Truth, Responsibility, Healing, Forgiveness), and the Emotional Authenticity Method™ — Kenny's six-step process for downregulating your nervous system, identifying the feeling, locating it in your body, finding the earliest memory, asking who you'd be without the thought, and using Feelization to rewire the emotional blueprint. You'll also learn the difference between the three internal voices running your reactions, why the survival persona collapses or counterattacks instead of holding the fence, and why traditional therapy, communication tools, and assertiveness training never reach the layer where the people-pleasing was installed.Kenny Weiss teaches that a boundary is not a wall around someone else, it is a fence around your own yard. The fence does not control your neighbor. It simply defines where you end and they begin, and it lets you choose what gets into your space. The Tennis Court is the structure that makes connection possible, because without a net there is no game and no relationship, only enmeshment. The Wall of Pleasantness is Kenny Weiss's adult response to criticism, accusation, or inventory-taking. Instead of collapsing into shame and agreeing or counterattacking and defending, you listen without reacting, take time to process, ask whether anything said is actually true, and respond with a grounded fence-setting sentence such as, "In the future, would you be willing to ask me before you give me unsolicited advice."The reason most boundary advice fails is that it teaches scripts to the adult who is not in the room. The wounded child driving the bus does not care about communication tools. Kenny Weiss's work targets the emotional blueprint underneath the behavior, rewriting the childhood equation that no equals abandonment and yes equals safety, which is why the Tennis Court Method holds when "just say no" collapses.TOPICS COVERED: how to set boundaries, boundaries in relationships, setting boundaries with parents, people pleasing recovery, codependency recovery, how to say no without guilt, boundary scripts, tennis court method,
Setting boundaries with parents feels like betrayal because you are breaking the childhood attachment contract your nervous system signed before you had words. This video walks you through why no other boundary triggers shame this hard, and the exact scripts that hold even when your parent escalates. If you have read every codependency book and still freeze the second your mother calls or your father gives you that look across the dinner table, this video is for you. Kenny Weiss walks you through why setting boundaries with parents is the hardest boundary work most adults will ever do, why traditional advice like "just communicate clearly" never holds when the person you are confronting is the one who built your nervous system, and what it actually takes to rewrite the childhood contract that says love is conditional on staying small. You will get the Tennis Court framework for understanding enmeshment, the boundary script for refusing to absorb parental shame language, and a clear way to recognize the three internal voices that hijack you the moment a parent reaches for the old role. This video covers the Worst Day Cycle™ (Trauma, Fear, Shame, Denial), the Authentic Self Cycle™ (Truth, Responsibility, Healing, Forgiveness), and the Emotional Authenticity Method™ — Kenny's six-step process for downregulating your nervous system, identifying the feeling, locating it in your body, finding the earliest memory, asking who you would be without the thought, and using Feelization to rewire the emotional blueprint. You will also learn the difference between the three internal voices running your reactions, why the survival persona collapses or flares the moment you walk into your parents' house, and why traditional therapy and assertiveness training never reach the layer where this contract was installed.Setting boundaries with parents feels like betrayal because the survival nervous system genuinely registers it as a life threat. As a child, your parents were the entire weather system of your life, so when you tell your mother you cannot talk every day, your body responds the same way it would respond to walking into traffic. This is not a weakness. It is the original equation of the Worst Day Cycle, where your needs once cost the people who were supposed to love you something they could not give.

Johnny Mac shares five good news stories: urban explorers Mitch and Jake find a remote Scottish bungalow packed with dusty teddy bears and dolls, allegedly hoarded by a widow, after a long search and trek; Alan at the Trumpet Inn offers a 5% cash discount to offset card fees, shifting payments from mostly card to about half cash; a cow on the loose in Nebraska wanders onto a high school tennis court, prompting a lockdown until police and rodeo helpers herd it to the fairgrounds and back to its owner; artist Gary mixes cremation ashes into custom landscape paintings so families can see and feel where ashes remain; and three original Bob Ross paintings auction for $1.27 million for public television, led by “Change of Seasons” at nearly $788,000.John also hosts Daily Comedy NewsUnlock an ad-free podcast experience with Caloroga Shark Media! Season 26, Episode 10 - Shaun Boyce, Bobby SchindlerSummaryIn this episode of the GoTennis! Podcast, Daren Hornig shares his journey from real estate to the world of racket sports, particularly through his acquisition of the Port Washington Tennis Academy. He discusses the evolution of the academy and the introduction of the Courtsapp, designed to enhance court booking efficiency for players and facility owners alike. Daren emphasizes the need for improved technological sophistication in the racket sports industry, drawing parallels to the real estate sector where every dollar and square inch is maximized. The app aims to bridge the gap by allowing users to easily find and book courts while comparing prices, similar to platforms like Expedia and Airbnb.Daren also highlights the concept of court time as a perishable commodity, explaining how unused court time represents lost revenue for facilities. He advocates for dynamic pricing strategies to optimize court utilization, especially during off-peak hours. The conversation touches on the broader implications of making racket sports more accessible and enjoyable, with Daren expressing a desire to improve the overall infrastructure of tennis courts across the country. The episode concludes with a discussion on future developments for the Courtsapp and the potential for collaboration with organizations like the GoTennis! Foundation to enhance community access to tennis facilities.KeywordsDaren Hornig, Courtsapp, tennis academy, court booking, racket sports, pickleball, tennis infrastructure, dynamic pricing, tennis community, Go Tennis PodcastTakeawaysCourt time is a perishable commodity. We need to make booking courts easier.Dynamic pricing can optimize court utilization. The Quartz app helps players find and book courts easily.Improving tennis infrastructure is essential for growth.Sound bites"Court time is a perishable commodity.""You'd rather have 50 cents on the dollar than zero.""It's about filling courts for the facilities."Full YouTube Video: https://youtu.be/k4iPBwb1f14CourtsApp Explainer Clip: https://youtube.com/shorts/IKF7556uTrc?feature=shareDaren's King of Racket Sports Answer: https://youtube.com/shorts/agq3lFVcepsLearn more about Daren: https://www.linkedin.com/in/daren-hornig-03659316/Learn more about CourtsApp: https://courtsapp.comKeywordspickleball, paddle technology, tennis, equipment reviews, beginner advice, Jovanni Garcia, Salt and Pepper Pickleball, sports community, injury prevention, racket sportsContact Our HostsShaun Boyce, RSPA: shaun@americanracketsportsassociation.com | https://americanracketsportsassociation.com/Bobby Schindler, RSPA: schindlerb@comcast.net | https://letsgotennis.com/windermereGeovanna Boyce: geovy@regeovinate.com | https://regeovinate.com/GoTennis Website: https://letsgotennis.com/Learn more about the Marc Kaplan Media Excellence Award we (the GoTennis! He takes us on a journey across oceans and tennis courts, detailing how he met his mentor-to-be when he didn't even realise who he was, the decision his parents made that turned out to be for the best, and the pitch that eventually landed him on Shark Tank Romania. In "Serving Aces" Alexandra Stevenson and co-host Hugues Laverdiere talk Italian Open. They discuss the women getting to the quarterfinals and the men reaching the round of 16. They discuss Carlos Alcaraz and his new documentary - and Bianca Andreescu's new surge to become a better tennis player. Pope Leo has a tennis court and it seems every player is lining up to give him a hit as he says he's a pretty good "amateur tennis player". His red clay court is on the grounds of Vatican City and during the tennis boom of the 70s, there were tournaments played. The question is - will Pope Leo play on his court and who will play with him?

[From the archive: This episode was originally recorded and published in 2022] On Episode 392 of The Tennis Files Podcast, I spoke with actor and tennis coach Christopher Crabb about how he went from both competing on the court and acting at the highest level to coaching famous celebrities. Chris is a tennis coach in Los Angeles with an A-list rolodex of clients. His tennis students include George Clooney, Alec Baldwin, Robert Downey Jr., Kevin Kline, Elle Fanning, Steve Carell, Pete Wentz from Fallout Boy, Dakota Fanning and Jeff Probst. Chris tutored Robert Downey Jr. for his Oscar-nominated role in the film "Chaplin," for which Chris also served as tennis coordinator. He began acting at the age of eight and has starred in many commercials, movies and series including the remake of "A Christmas Carol", "Danger Bay", "Life Goes On", "Rebel Highway", and many more. Chris was a highly-ranked junior tennis player and turned pro at the age of 16. He has defeated grand slam champions Michael Chang and Jim Courier. On the show, you'll learn how Chris developed his skills in tennis and acting and how he managed to do both at the highest level, the biggest challenges he faces when teaching celebrities, his unique green jacket approach of coaching, the biggest mistakes that amateur tennis players make, why players don't play well during competition vs. practice, and much more! South Africa has had its share of UFO reports, and thanks to Zimbabwe-based researcher Cynthia Hind, who put out UFO Afrinews from July 1988 to July 2000, we have a record of many of them. In the 1970s, Charles Bowen, the editor of London-based Flying Saucer Review, also had his eye on South Africa, and in the January-February 1973 issue, he mentions a flap there that, according to him, began in July 1972. Along with other reports, he presents a newspaper account of a dramatic case involving a UFO that seemingly damaged a tennis court in the town of Rosmead in the Eastern Cape Province. Hind gives details of the case in the first issue of UFO Afrinews, calling it “perhaps my best case” when it comes to physical trace cases and references her book, UFOs: African Encounters, as the source.
