This Week on Next on the Tee, I'm joined by three incredible guests. In Part 1, I start with one of the game's all-time great instructors—Tom Patri. Not only is Tom a phenomenal teacher, he's also a fantastic player. Tom is sharpening his game for the Senior Florida Open, happening April 22–24 at Aberdeen Golf & Country Club in Boynton Beach, Florida. You'll hear how he dominated the course during his practice round for the qualifier, plus his thoughts on Rory McIlroy's win at The Players, J.J. Spaun's valiant effort and willingness to face the media after falling short, perhaps something Collin Morikawa could take a lesson from. Next up is a longtime friend from our Thursday Night Tailgate football show, former NFL defensive back Vencie Glenn. Vencie played for the Patriots, Chargers, Saints, Vikings, and Giants—and he's just as popular in golf circles as he was on the football field. I share one of my favorite stories about walking Augusta National with him and how he introduced me to Phil Knight and Tiger's mom. The golf world knows and loves this guy, and for good reason. We chat about former NFL players who excel at golf, and how Vencie honed his skills to become a ball hawk in the league, racking up 35 career interceptions. Please come back for Part 2 of this week's show featuring the Next on the Tee debut of another Top Instructor in our game, Taylor Crosby. Taylor is a disciple of Jim McLean and is now teaching at The Kingdom at Reynold Lake Oconee. He's fantastic! You're going to really enjoy his stories plus the playing lessons he shared. Thank you for pressing play on this week's show. I appreciate you!

In Part 1 of Episode 34 I'm joined by Top Instructor and Host of The Golf Kingdom TV show Rob Strano and PGA Tour Legend Bruce Devlin. Rob Strano shares his reaction to the US Open and why the 5th and 15th holes were pivotal to the outcome. I also get his thoughts on LIV's growing leverage in the merger discussions, and why even after winning 6 times so far this season, Scottie Scheffler's accomplishments aren't touted enough. Think about what it would be like if Tiger was winning at this rate. Bruce Devlin won 8 times on the PGA Tour and had 5 Top 10s in the US Open. Bruce also shares his insights on this year's tournament plus we go back to his Top 10 in the 1982 US Open after the media had written him off. We also look ahead to The Open at Royal Troon in July and look back at his win in the 1960 Australian Open as an Amateur.
In Part 2 of Episode 32, I'm joined by Courtney Weber, a Level 3 TPI Certified Instructor, and Cree Morris, former San Diego State QB now a top QB Coach. Courtney Weber is a Level 3 Titleist Performance Institute and Golf Digest certified Trainer. I had the privilege of being introduced to her by Top Instructor and my gumba Rob Strano at this year's PGA Merchandise Show. Courtney shares exercises aimed at enhancing power and explosiveness in our golf swings. She delves into Advanced Dissociation Exercises, their benefits for overall fitness, and the optimal balance between cardio, weight training, and explosive movements. Cree Morris, a standout QB at Orange Glen High School in San Diego with his jersey recently retired, began his college career alongside Marshall Faulk at San Diego State. He recounts these experiences and offers insights into QB fundamentals, advice for NFL rookie QBs, and what made Dan Marino exceptional. We conclude with Cree discussing cherished moments on the golf course with his son and their favorite spots in San Diego.
In Part 2 of Episode 21, I catch up with 2003 PGA Champion Shaun Micheel and Top 10 Instructor Martin Chuck. I have been saying for years that Shaun Micheel is the most underrated and under-appreciated player in PGA Tour History. Most remember his incredible win at the 2003 PGA Championship, hitting one of the greatest approach shots in major golf history. He came to that 72nd hole with a 1-stroke lead over Chad Campbell. He then hit his 7-iron approach shot to 3 inches from the cup. What people don't remember is that he nearly doubled down at the 2006 PGA, finishing 2nd to Tiger. He also finished runner-up at the 2006 World Match Play Championship after defeating Tiger in the first round 4 & 3. During his PGA Tour career he had 20 Top 10 finishes and 57 Top 25s. You'll hear him share his experiences playing in the 2004 Masters. His practice round with Jack and playing in the group behind Arnold Palmer during Arnie's final Masters appearance that year. Plus, playing in the group with Seve during his final Open appearance. Martin Chuck is ranked #7 in Golf Digest's Top Instructor rankings. He has recently teamed with Chris McGinley, formerly of Titleist and the guy who discovered Bob Vokey years ago, and Performance Golf to promote a set of wedges that are simply fantastic. We talk about the technology that Chris put into these wedges that will help us hit better shots from tight lies, divots, rough, and green-side bunkers. Plus the spin these full-face wedges put on the ball so we can get our chips closer to the hole. I love the feel of these wedges.

Rick Fehr won twice out on the PGA Tour. He is also one of the most decorated amateur players in the last 40 years. Rick was annually one of the best putters on Tour and provided some drills to help us make more putts. Todd Kolb rounds out the show.
