Between 1911 and 1912, entire families across Louisiana and Texas were slaughtered in their sleep with an ax — their bodies sometimes arranged in prayer, their blood drained into buckets, and cryptic messages scrawled on the walls. A 17-year-old girl confessed to 35 of the murders, claimed she belonged to a secret voodoo cult called the Church of Sacrifice — and then vanished into history.IN THIS EPISODE: A series of ax murders took place in Louisiana and Texas. Gruesome as they were, they began to horrify the public even more when they were admitted to by a teenaged voodoo priestess. A disheveled stranger sat down next to me at a London bar and claimed to be the Devil. After the discovery of the burnt car that belonged to millionaire Houston oilman Ed Baker, speculation was abound. Though the medical examiner finally ruled that the body found inside was indeed Edward Gerald Baker's, some folks didn't buy the ruling. They insisted the oilman had faked his own death and skipped country to avoid the lawsuits against his company or worse – jail time. Harris County Sheriff's Investigators, however, didn't really buy that. Though they seemed to believe that Ed's death was the result of an elaborately planned suicide, they couldn't prove it and still had to leave their minds open to the theory that the man was killed as the result of a mob hit. To this day, exactly what happened to Ed Baker remains a mystery. The officials blamed defective wiring although lights were still burning after the fire started. The official report stated that the children died in the fire. However no bones were found in the residue and there was no smell of burning flesh during or after the fire. What was the motive of the law officers involved? What did they have to gain by making us suffer all of these years of injustice? Kada Scott ////// 891 Part 1 of 1  www.TrueCrimegrage.com23 year old Kada Scott was last seen in the parking lot of her workplace, The Terrace at Chestnut Hill senior living in Philadelphia late on the night of Saturday, October 4, 2025.  Kada received several texts and phone calls all from the same cellphone shortly before she was abducted. The Philadelphia Police department used, cellphone and vehicle information to lead them to multiple cars used in the abduction and subsequent crimes, Kada's body, and a single suspect who is a repeat violent offender. There is still a lot more for police to uncover. Multiple people were involved in these crimes and right now only one suspect has been arrested and charge with murder.
