Tariffs are back again and stronger than ever. Things are still a little shaky at the moment because we never really know what will happen tomorrow but today, Dave discusses 5 ways you can deal with the new tariffs through DDP, diversifying, and negotiation. Big Takeaways: It is basically impossible to eliminate the effects of the tariffs but there are ways to minimize them. DDP shipping puts risk on your supplier, not you. Diversifying sales channels can be a great way to keep your profit margins healthy. Negotiate discounts with your suppliers to soften the blow. Moving your manufacturing can reduce tariffs and contribute to a healthier business. Accept that the business landscape has changed permanently. Look for new opportunities that arise from these challenges. Consider manufacturing in Canada and Mexico as alternatives. Evaluate your product catalog in these new market conditions. We understand the concept of "accepting change" as it relates to other people's decisions that affect us, or circumstances out of our control, or other external catalysts where some form of change is imposed upon us. However, there's another form of "accepting change" that is voluntary, and very important as it relates to living for God. If we're going to be "changed" by the Word of God (Romans 12:2), then we have to understand the concept of "accepting change" in ourselves. - Accepting Change.
Morning Mantra: “Learn to embrace change not resist it."Life changes. That's a fact.It seems like you get it all lined up just the way you like it and then something beyond your control comes along and bumps you off center. Every single experience you go through changes you in some way. Every moral dilemma or emotional experience you come up against changes you, it's your job to decide how.Accepting that change is a part of life is a start. Understanding that along the way you lose love, you lose friends and you lose pieces of yourself that you never imagined would be gone. And then, sometimes without you even realizing it, new pieces come back. New love enters. Better friends come along. And a stronger, wiser you is staring back in the mirror.#BeOkWithChange. #BeHappy #BeHorsey#BeHippie #HorseHippie#MorningMantra#inspirationalQuotes#MorningMotivation#Equestrian #HorseLover#QuotesToInspire#HorseHippieBrand#HorseHippieBoutique

It is often said that change is the only constant in life, and it is an absolute truth! In order to flow with life we must let go of our resistance to change because all that is is fear of losing something. Acknowledging that everything changes, our emotions, our relationships, our bodies, our "things", our work, our inner understanding, the external world... the list is endless because everything changes! In this episode we meditate on the impermanence that is constant in our lives.Much loveRosanne xxWebsite - https://chakra-way.com/Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/yogawithrosanne/TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@thechakrawayFacebook - https://www.facebook.com/chakrawayyoga/YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@thechakraway9141/videos Hosted on Acast. I'm curious…How do you talk to yourself? Would you be happy for someone to speak to your kids in the same way? Do you often find yourself speaking to the ones you love the worst?Self-talk has such a massive impact on your sense of wellbeing (and those around you) yet it's easy to overlook when it's not aligned with the type of parent or person we aspire to be.Family and child counsellor, Jacintha Field, shares the importance of healing, self-reflection, and taking responsibility for one's actions as well as the power of self-opinion and setting boundaries for self-care in this week's conversation. She highlights the significance of self-talk and the impact it has on our relationships, especially with our children. And if you ever struggle with ‘people pleasing' tendencies, Jacintha can set you straight.“The only opinion that matters is the one you have of yourself”If you'd like to find out more about Jacintha's work or get in touch with her, you can find her at: www.happysoulskids.comMain Takeaways* Teach children about self-awareness, standing in their power, and not taking on other people's opinions of them* Healing and self-reflection are essential for personal growth and becoming a better parent* Set boundaries and prioritise self-care to avoid burnout and be present for your children* Practice self-love and speak kindly to yourself, as it sets the standard for your relationships with others. Navigating Friendships After Infertility - Episode 117 Welcome back, beautiful souls! Today's episode takes us to the stunning Pacific coast of California, where our host shares her recent experiences coaching remotely and working from beautiful locations. A dream come true! Now, let's dive into a topic close to many hearts: navigating friendships after infertility. Episode Highlights: Last Week's Recap: Intimate Relationships and Infertility Episode 116 delved into the impact of infertility on intimate relationships with partners. If you missed it, be sure to catch up! This Week's Focus: Friendships and Childlessness Being the only one without kids in your friend group can be isolating. The episode explores the challenges and emotions tied to feeling invisible in conversations about parenthood. Validating Your Emotions Acknowledge your feelings of isolation and invisibility. You're not a bad person for feeling this way. Infertility can stir up complex emotions, and it's okay. Navigating Social Situations: What Can You Do? Recognize that it's okay not to be part of every conversation. Understand that some outings may not align with your interests, and that's perfectly fine. Communication is Key Consider having open conversations with friends. Express that certain topics are challenging for you, and it's okay if you step away during those discussions. Honest communication strengthens bonds. Accepting Change in Friendships Friendships evolve, especially when friends become parents. It's natural for conversations to shift. Embrace the change, and recognize that it doesn't diminish the value of your friendships. Exploring New Connections Friendships aren't limited to a certain mold. Attend events specifically for childless individuals, explore virtual meetups, and be open to creating new connections outside your current circle. Empowering Yourself Lana shares upcoming events, like the "TheOther's Day Brunch", offering opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals. Early bird pricing is available, so consider making it a priority for yourself. Closing Thoughts: Navigating friendships post-infertility can be challenging, but remember, it's never too late to discover your meaning. Embrace change, communicate openly, and empower yourself to cultivate connections that resonate with your journey. Sending love and strength your way. Until next week, have a beautiful one!

The only certainty in life is that everything is always changing and that even our human experience in the body we are in- will end. In this episode, Christopher Perkins, co-founder of Yandara, and Yael Ginzburg, our host, speak about the inevitable part of life which is death. When we are in the initial shock of experiencing loss it may seem there is no way out, but as Christopher suggests, there is another way we can see things. They also spoke about our natural ability to process, letting go of attachment to what things “should” be, how to support people around us who have experienced loss.
