Episode 149 Details How did you wrap up summer, say goodbye, and Hello to Fall? For many, us included as trees have started to turn, and archery season opens, feel that Labor Day weekend is - The Start To Days of Fall. Tigger & BEC decided to do a “Day RoadTrip” on that Sunday of the long holiday weekend. As let's be real, on this outfit there's no such thing as a "long weekend". These crazy cats took off with the truck loaded with kayaks, and fishing gear and traveled their “own backyard” meaning, stayed within state lines. Driving around a massive lake the two know very well, came upon not one but TWO bays new to them and had vacant beaches. Instead of unloading the gear, Tigger & BEC on the LAST hot day of summer jumped in the lake, enjoying just playing and swimming while soaking up the sun. SPOTLIGHT FAN MAIL We received lots of “Fan Mail” after last week's show when we talked about the recent backcountry expedition done by experienced outdoorsmen who had 3 pack horses tumble 80 feet and thankfully survive! We heard lots of comments, Want to give a shoutout to one listener, Scott Middleton from Alberta, CA - He shared photos of his Tennessee Walkers that they use on rougher terrain. Another listener texted in that he appreciated us sharing about transporting feed across state lines for horses (or any livestock). This individual was stopped and had feed checked for noxious weeds prior to being allowed to enter the national forest. Before heading to the backcountry including the national forests or grasslands, if you are crossing state lines it is highly recommended to contact your local veterinarians as Coggins tests, health certificates or even brand releases may be required as well as contact all states you Game and Fish departments you will be traveling through to your final destination. NEWS PADDLEBOARD FISHING Experienced Connecticut fisherman Eddie Carroll went viral in the fishing world when while fishing off his 12-foot paddleboard. What caused the excitement, off the coast of Madison in the Long Island Sound he hooked a large catch, so big that it began dragging him and the paddleboard. After fighting this monster fish for over an hour, he reeled up to the paddleboard a massive brown shark. Thinking smartly so folks would believe his “Catch Of The Day”, or catch of the year in our book… Eddie Carroll was able to turn on his phone to start recording as evidence to prove the catch. It was figured to roughly be an 8-foot Brown Shark, in which this fisherman did cut the line for the next lucky angler. ANIMALS DON'T STOP FOR PASSPORT CONTROL According to NPR - Apparently Wild or not, animals don't stop at passport control, including the reindeer that graze on the border of Norway and Russia. Forty-two crossed into Russia, and now the Norwegian government has to pay Russia for the loss of grassland - more than $4,000 per reindeer. The animals are just going where the grass takes them, I guess. So now Norway is repairing an old fence there to try to rein in their deer… like that pun.. but on a serious note… Norwegian officials, according to Fox 5 NY, state the work of building and fixing the border fence is a challenge, as the workers have to stay on the Norwegian side of the border "AT ALL TIMES" during construction, which as you can imagine is making the work extra demanding. As for example; If a worker crossed into Russian territory, without a Russian visa, that would amount to illegal entry. These reindeer have truly stirred the pot or shaken up a hornets' nest as Russia has sent two compensation claims thus far. One claim is for $ 4,700 USD per reindeer that crossed into Russia to graze in a nature reserve. In addition, the second claim is asking for a lump sum of nearly $4.4 million in total for the days the animals grazed in the nature reserve park, which consists mostly of lakes, rivers, forests, and marshland. The returned reindeer belonged and were herded by the Indigenous Sami people in central and Arctic Norway. However, upon return, the animals have since been slaughtered out of fear that they may wander back to Russia. About Host, Karla Nivens: After graduating from Texas Tech University, Karla earned her teaching certificate and began her career as an elementary music teacher in the Dallas Independent School District. Donna Renay Patrick - When Life Doesn't Go as Planned My guest today is Author, Radio Host, Speaker, Worship Leader and Choir Director Donna Renay Patrick. She and I had a light hearted conversation about the various ways to recover when life does not turn out like we thought it would. We shared our personal understanding of God based on our individual experiences and how we interpret God's word through our understanding. We talked about keeping a journal whether it's a gratitude journal or a journal to help you sort out your thoughts and feelings. There's value in getting out the over whelming thoughts that are bouncing around in your head, onto paper. We discussed the importance of a strong identity, as well as the importance of grieving. An interesting portion of our conversation for me was when we touched on the 3 entry areas to our heart and mind: Ear gate, eye gate, & mouth gate. Theses are significant entry points into our lives and they need to be guarded. We are the gate keepers and when we're equipped to take our position we learn to cultivate peace in our lives. Not that we can keep from experiencing pain or trauma because ultimately these are opportunities to draw close to the Lord and not be self-sufficient but for the purpose of limiting the times we are confused and suffering. Donna and I shared our thoughts on what it means to let go…not to nothing or anything hoping something will happen but rather letting go and submitting yourself to God's care…it's the only place we're safe. What does it mean to praise God in the middle of our pain and suffering? Donna and I found value in taking our focus off of ourselves and putting it on the One, Jesus Christ who can bring healing and restoration. The One who is with us in the places that no one else can reach. Even our climate with its 4 seasons reflects something about the seasons in our individual lives…..Side note: So you don't get pulled out of the conversation wondering what I'm talking about….I describe the Fall leaves as God's confetti…but for some reasons I said flowers. A HOUSE DIVIDED CANNOT STAND!So says the scripture. That would be, would it not my fellow Americans, our beloved America. We really are not diversified (true diversity is a myth) but we are divided, deeply and it seems irreparably. Citizen against citizen. Conflicting ideas. Seemingly radically different moral values. And, WE THE PEOPLE in a constant battle over our beloved rule of law and Constitution, which many believe should be done away with all together (shocking), others simply changed and amended, still others kept but organically and currently interpreted while the remaining feel that the Constitution should not only be kept, but enforced with an originalist and textualist approach. Where do you stand my fellow Americans and how do you see the America you wish your family, friends and all of us your fellow citizens to live? LESSONS. What lessons, I ask, have WE THE PEOPLE learned from elections 2020? They are done and over, thankfully but not really, for there will be protests, even riots, and of course the inevitable and seemingly forever LITIGATION. But surely there were lessons learned. Perhaps this is a good time for you and I to take stock, to look hard at what happened and what role (if any) we, you and I played in this the most critical election in American history. What you and I did or did not do will have a lasting effect for years to come.THE VOTE. Did you vote? And did you vote right? Were you convinced about the issues, the parties, the platforms, the principles and did you understand them, evaluate them and vote for candidates and parties which best represented and promised to do what was right for America? In short, are you proud of an informed vote and consequently discharging the privilege and duty you have as a citizen to vote? There is nothing more precious in the political world than a free and independent vote for a country and for the leaders to represent you, NOTHING! Men and women have fought and died for the right to vote and perhaps WE THE PEOPLE maybe for the first time did not take the right to vote for granted. If you truly love America, and you are truly proud to be an American citizen, you would never miss the opportunity to vote. And as you discharged this democratic principle and your civic duty, I do hope that you voted for candidates who believe in: BIBLICAL VALUES.We the people of faith fight the social issues of:ABORTIONLGBTQIA EUTHANASIAEMBRYONIC STEM CELL RESEARCHHUMAN TRAFFICKINGPORNOGRAPHYamong others. No matter who is elected and where, the fight of faith goes on. We should never forget that. And perhaps this election taught us the lesson that we must be more involved in politics, all of us. We must spend more time in the political arena. We cannot wait for the next election. WE THE PEOPLE must be the leaders, those who make the decisions, those in charge of our states, our counties, our cities, our townships and all local governmental bodies. WE THE PEOPLE must be in charge, and involved, and AT ALL TIMES. Government and its critical decision making never ends. There are those who dedicate their lives to government, to the power it brings and the decision making which can occur. Tens of millions of Americans do not! They leave that to others. But democracy, the republic in which we live demands that we be involved, and involved at all times. Are you? Will you now more than ever? WHEN GOOD MEN AND WOMEN ABANDON THE POLITICAL ARENA, THE BAD TAKE OVER. So said Edmund Burke. We the people cannot vote and then abandon. To be a citizen of this great country means to be involved every day in which we are privileged to live here. I pray that from this point forward, you, presumably a person of faith, will be more involved in government, in politics, in the running of your country and consequently your life now more than ever. It seems as if so many voted on the basis of PERSONALITY in these elections. You could hear across America the loud cry of the NEVER TRUMPSTERS. Many did not like the man personally. Many more were turned off by his personality and no matter what he believed or his performance as President, which was highly beneficial to people of faith, many of those very same people refused to vote for Trump and consequently his party as a result. But the lesson we should learn from elections 2020 is that we vote not on the basis of personality, or likability, but political promise and most importantly PERFORMANCE. To paraphrase Senator Feinstein from California: THE LIE RUNS DEEP IN ALL POLITICIANS!Never forget that former President Barack Hussein Obama warned us that WE THE PEOPLE now lived in the: ERA OF POST TRUTH.In short, anything verbally goes according to Obama, and perhaps virtually all politicians and we must, my fellow Americans, find a way to hold our leaders to the truth, to make decisions based on facts and to reestablish the old morality, the old Judeo – Christian morality which was the foundation, the essential pillar of our great country. Without that, we will continue a house divided and: WE WILL NOT STAND!And our educational system. It has been taken over by progressives, radicals, even foreign interests like China, Saudi Arabia, Iran and others. American history and values are put to the side or eliminated altogether. We must regain control of our colleges and universities. And our high schools. And especially the teaching of our children. Perhaps a lesson we have learned from this election is that we cannot delegate the teaching of our children to others, especially in the realm of politics and civic duty. THAT MUST BEGIN AT HOME! Parents, no matter how busy, need to make quality time for discussion, for learning, for reading the Constitution, and all things about the rule of law, and discuss intelligently and fairly all the social issues of the day. THAT BEGINS AT HOME! If as scripture says the training up of a child begins the right way at home, when that child is old and subjected to anti–American, radical and progressive professors and thinking in college, that child will not depart from the right teaching of the parents. TEACH YOUR CHILDREN! And teach them a love for America with a will and determination to solve its problems and to maximize its potential. This election should have taught us to beware of: SOCIALISM EVEN COMMUNISM.Both are a threat to our society and there are those by the thousands who wish to take America in that direction. Beware of them, watch for them and make certain they do not lead or control.And now we PRAY. We have done all we can. We have worked knowing the night is coming and we have participated in elections 2020 most hopefully to the very best of our abilities. And now we PRAY. We pray for our leaders. We pray for the influence of God Almighty in their lives and decision making. We pray they our leaders will be sensitive, truthful, determined to follow the oath they take to protect and preserve the Constitution and the America they are privileged to serve. We pray that these politicians, our leaders, will honor truth, fulfill their promises and otherwise make our great country greater! That America would once again be a true leader in the world. That we the people would revive our values and morality so that we can once again be as a nation and a people: A SHINING CITY ON THE HILL. We pray for the end of division. We pray that we can find a way to be ONE NATION UNDER GOD. We pray that we the American people can once again become INDIVISIBLE no matter our differences. We pray that a new civility may return, that we can dialogue and discuss with each other and seek common ground wherever possible following the biblical admonition that without compromise or sacrifice, we make friends with all mankind.And we pray that we the people will HUMBLE ourselves before each other and before God. We pray that we will seek HIS will now more than ever. And we pray that our great country will turn from any evil way and morally revive and that our leaders, newly elected and reelected, will do the same. Then and only then will GOD BLESS AMERICA. Then and only then will our freedoms be preserved. Then and only then will we appreciate our freedoms, preserve and protect them knowing that once they are lost, they are gone forever.Now we go forward as a nation, my fellow Americans. On our journey to becoming master manifestors, we need to be mindful of our vibration AT ALL TIMES. We're human, so we're going to experience moments of low vibrations throughout our days. A manifestation mindset does NOT mean that you never allow yourself to experience the downs. Instead, a manifestation mindset is about the ability to get back on track and increase your vibe as soon as you're ready, so that you can realign with the high vibe frequency that makes attracting the things you want, possible. What spoke to me the most was Shannon's ability to be compassionate with herself and others who have transgressed or abused her in the past. Shannon struggled with playing small and limiting beliefs of needing to struggle to be successful. She learned how to be her "Bio Queen" self (inside joke, listen in to hear what that means). :) She is a true light worker and shared how to stay in your own light, especially during a darker and more fearful time, as many have felt with this pandemic. Some of Shannon's practices (emphasis being practice, as we never fully arrive) is: Find a Board of Directors - meaning a small circle of those who will cheer you on and support you on your journey to fully expressing in your highest self (or You-est You). Clear yourself through what she uses as Accessing Consciousness, a clearing statement that has you clear whatever happened in the past and look to create what you truly desire in the present. The premise is to just let it all go. Journaling as a tool for deeper gratitude and appreciation, and connection to your true self. Take lots of salt baths and heal, rejuvenate and reconnect to you through water. Be wary of too much triggering media - look at disturbing, upsetting and fear based media and social media as a 'prayer request' and send that person compassion and a prayer. The most important focus right now is to learn to TRUST; yourself and in knowing that all is well and that you are always protected. By trusting and surrendering to a higher order or divine intelligence will allow you to be in a state of flow, gratitude and grace. God is SOVEREIGN in the affairs of men. He is the Creator Of heaven and earth, Who is the Beginning and the End, the Alpha and Omega - the MOST HIGH GOD! God's sovereignty is the attributes by which He Rules His Entire Creation. God is and must be all-knowing, all-powerful, and absolutely free. If there was any knowledge unknown to God, his rule breakdown at that point. But God is ALL KNOWING AND HAS ALL KNOWLEDGE AT ALL TIMES. God is ALL POWERFUL, AT ALL TIMES! HE is not limited in any way forever and ever. Hence, God is SOVEREIGN. GOD IS ABSOLUTELY FREE and able with no hindrances, to do as He Pleases Always, Everywhere, Forever. He Possesses All Universal Authority, Unlimited Power in ALL THINGS AT ALL TIMES. BESIDES HIM there is no other God. He Is the Lord God Almighty. He Is Higher Than Highest High, Infinitely and Transcending Higher. He is Mightier Than All other Power and Strength – He Is the Infinite Transcending Almighty God. Because God is Sovereign, ALL-POWERFUL, ALL-KNOWING, you know that God will fulfill every promise made to you through His Word. God moves with Infinite Wisdom and Perfect Persuasion of Action, Giving Mercy for Your Failures and His Well-Timed Help, Coming Just When You Need it. The book of Daniel was written to teach the Sovereign Rule of God over all nations on earth. Listen to King Nebuchadnezzar,At the end of the seven years, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my understanding and the right use of my mind returned to me; and I blessed the Most High God and I praised and honored and glorified Him Who lives forever, Whose dominion is an everlasting dominion; and His kingdom endures from generation to generation.(Daniel 4:34)And all the inhabitants of the earth are regarded as nothing. God does according to His will as he pleases with the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him: ‘What have you done?'” (Daniel 4:35)King Nebuchadnezzar sent this message to the people of every race and nation and language throughout the world: “Peace and prosperity to you! “I want you all to know about the miraculous signs and wonders the Most High God has performed for me. How great are his signs, how powerful his wonders! His kingdom will last forever, his rule through all generations. Daniel 4:1-3 This is the decision decreed by the Heavenly watchers, And the sentence by the word of the holy ones, In order that the living may know That the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and He Gives it to whomever He chooses, And sets over it the lowest of men. Daniel 4:17 This is what the dream means, Daniel answered: Your Majesty, this what the Most High has declared will happen to my lord the king. You will be driven from human society, and you will live in the fields with the wild animals. You will eat grass like a cow, and you will be drenched with the dew of heaven. Seven periods of time will pass while you live this way, until you learn that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world and gives them to anyone he chooses. (Daniel 5:21) In each of the above passages the name "Most High" or "Most High God" is used. It is the Hebrew name El Elyon, and means "the possessor of heaven and earth" (Genesis 14:22). El Elyon - meaning “Highest” or “Exalted One,” emphasizes that God is the highest in every realm of life. In the New Testament, Jesus is known as the Son of the Most High while the Holy Spirit is the power of the Most High. All who belong to Christ are revealed as sons and daughters of the Most High by imitating the Father in heaven. When you praise the Most High, you are worshiping the One whose power, mercy, and sovereignty cannot be matched.The Holy Spirit guided the writers of Scripture to state emphatically that "the earth is the LORD's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein" (Psalm 24:1; see also 1 Corinthians 10:26, 28). The universe is God's by creative right. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. He is upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power.(Colossians 1:16-17, Hebrews 1:3). And In Him we also were made God's heritage (portion) and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His Own will,(Ephesians 1:11).

And Seeing Peter and John about to Go into the Temple, He Asked That Donations from Them.And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said "Look at us. Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the Name of Jesus Christ of Master, rise up and walk."Then Peter took him by the right hand and lifting you up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he leaped and jot with joy and entered the temple with them – walking, leaping, and praising God. And all the people the Temple saw him walking and praising God. And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what happened to him.And being let go, they went back to their companions reported all that the chief priests and elders inside them.And when they heard it, lifted their voices together with one united mind to God and said, O Sovereign Lord, You are He Who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything that is in them, (Acts 4:24, Exod 20:11; Ps 146:6)

Then I have Good News for you!You may feel alone and the disappointments of life seems so unfair that the hurt just... hurts. Maybe you're miles away from family or your longing for marriage and a family of your own, or you maybe you are separated or facing a serious illness, causing you to feel alone.Remeber The Lord Himself gave a prophecy about Himself: a Sign, according to the Eternal Purpose to the Praise of the Glory of His Grace, by which He has made you accepted in His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ. Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call HIS NAME – EMMANUEL – God with you. (Ephesians 1:6, Isaiah 7:4, Matthew 1:23)God Offers you the Great expectation of His Continual Presence with you MORE than a Promise, it is GOD with you NOW! Although you Feel Alone and LoNely, you are NEVER ACTUALLY ALONE.Talk to Him and Hear Him Who Loves you.-Matt 1:23, Josh 1:5The LORD has not forgotten you. God's gift of His Continual Presence is irrevocable. He never withdraws himself from you, for you are his child, born of his Spirit Who Lives, and He Never Leaves you. Once I has come to live in you, he does not change his mind about you whom He gives His Grace. (Isaiah 49:15, Romans 11:29)God's Spirit of Truth has been Given to you by the Father, Who is your Comforter, Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby, Who remains with you Forever–for He lives constantly with you and within you. (John 14:16-17) your body is the Temple of the Living God, God is with you!God has adopted as His Own child through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will because it pleased Him and was His kind intent– to make you a member of his own family and household.
