After her 2024 project Hungover (and deluxe Still Hungover) and the 2× Platinum CMA multi-award-winning duet “You Look Like You Love Me” with Riley Green, Langley solidifies her solo rise with this co-write featuring Miranda Lambert (on co-writing, background vocals, and co-production with Luke Dick and Joybeth Taylor).“Choosin' Texas” delivers upbeat Southern grit, heartfelt themes of lost love to a “Texas woman,” and confident storytelling inspired by Lambert's personal tales. Debuted live in February 2025 and performed at the 2025 CMA Awards, the track exploded organically through touring, fan engagement, TikTok/Shazam traction, and radio momentum—no major media syncs required.Chart dominance as of January 2026 includes: #1 on Billboard Hot Country Songs (first career No. 1), fastest solo female climb to Top 10 Country Airplay this decade (8 weeks, breaking records), #1 on UK Country Airplay for multiple weeks, #1 on Apple Music Country, and #1 Best Country Song of 2025 on Spotify/Billboard. It achieved Top 5 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 (dated Jan. 10, 2026), a rare feat for a solo female country artist this century (only the 12th since 2000), plus Top 5 on US Spotify all-genre streaming. Over 70+ million Spotify streams fuel its crossover success in a male-dominated format.Analytic Dreamz examines the song's record-breaking radio impact, international reach, Miranda Lambert's public praise, viral speculation (denied by Langley), and how it positions her as a culturally resonant, commercially powerhouse new country star entering 2026 with CRS New Faces spotlight and more momentum ahead.Join Analytic Dreamz for this no-fluff, data-driven deep dive into one of 2025-2026's defining country anthems. Judson Spence (born in Pascagoula, Mississippi) is an American pop music singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist. He originally gained fame when he released his eponymously titled debut solo effort on Atlantic Records in 1988. The album was produced by Monroe Jones and David Tickle, and executive produced by future Interscope founder Jimmy Iovine.Although he had a top 40 hit with "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah" in 1988 and also had a minor hit with "Drift Away" from The Wonder Years soundtrack, Spence was dropped from Atlantic before completing his second album in 1991.After several years of struggle, Spence's composition "The Power" was covered by both Amy Grant and Cher and was also used for a national Century 21 advertising campaign. Subsequently, he recorded the indie release "painfaithjoy" in 1995.He performed with Trisha Yearwood on the Oscar nominated song "How Do I Live Without You" in 1997 and sang live with her on the American Music Awards, The Tonight Show, The Oscars, and the CMA Awards. In 1999, he released his third solo album in Japan, titled I Guess I Love It before his record label, Pioneer Music Group closed its doors. That album was produced by former Eagle Bernie Leadon. In 2000, he toured with Trisha Yearwood. The following year, Wynonna Judd cut Judson's song "New Day Dawning", and it became the title track to her album. In 2003, Spence released two albums: The Velvet Kitten Sessions, which was a mainstream collection, and Opus Dei, which was a religious-themed effort. In 2014, Spence filmed a movie about his life, Sing the Blues, that also featured his music. Now based in Birmingham, AL, Judson is constantly writing new music still.Theme song: “Hollywood Faded' by Luna Halo@treymitchellphotography @feeding_the_senses_unsensoredfacebook.com/profile.php?id=100074368084848www.threads.net/@treymitchellphotographyftsunashville@gmail.com

Ep 239 | This week on Discover Ag, Natalie and Tara dig into a Campbell's soup scandal, the CMA Awards crisis, a heartwarming veterans program, and the viral sesame seed discovery that has everyone rethinking their burger buns. A leaked audio recording from a former Campbell's VP calling their food "bleep for poor people" and claiming their chicken comes from a 3D printer goes viral, but the hosts argue the real issue isn't false ingredient claims—it's corporate culture and classism. The CMA Awards hit rock bottom with only 6 million viewers (down from 16 million a decade ago), sparking debate about country music's identity crisis and why they desperately need the Dancing With the Stars Gen Z marketer. On a positive note, the Armed to Farm program is helping veterans transition into sustainable agriculture with an 83% retention rate through hands-on training in everything from aquaponics to beekeeping. Plus, Cheetos launches a "Simply Naked" line without artificial dyes, and a viral video reveals where sesame seeds actually come from—growing in pods that burst open when ripe, which is literally the origin of "open sesame." Listen to a conversation with the virtuoso multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and bandleader, Ricky Skaggs. Born in Kentucky in 1954, Skaggs has played a central role in shaping modern bluegrass and country music. A child prodigy, he first performed on stage with Bill Monroe at age six, and at age seven he appeared on national television with Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs.  Before turning 18, Skaggs had already performed with many of the greatest legends in bluegrass. At age 15, he and his childhood friend Keith Whitley joined Ralph Stanley's Clinch Mountain Boys. In the 1970s, Skaggs' musicianship helped redefine progressive bluegrass through his work with the Country Gentlemen, J.D. Crowe & the New South, and Emmylou Harris' Hot Band. He launched his solo career in the early 1980s and became a leading figure in the neotraditional country movement. His string of #1 hits — including “Crying My Heart Out Over You,” “Highway 40 Blues,” and “Heartbroke” — made him one of the decade's most influential artists. During this period he earned multiple CMA Awards, including Entertainer of the Year in 1985, as well as several Grammy Awards. In the 1990s, Skaggs returned his focus to bluegrass, forming his acclaimed band Kentucky Thunder. In 2018, Skaggs was inducted into both the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame—one of the few artists to receive both honors. He is also a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Skaggs has performed and recorded with a wide range of legendary artists across many genres, including Jack White, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Charlie Haden, Bruce Hornsby, Béla Fleck, John Fogerty, and Dionne Warwick, among many others. Across his decades-long career, Ricky Skaggs' contributions as a singer, mandolinist, fiddler, bandleader, and tradition-bearer have secured his legacy as one of the most important figures in American roots music. Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder will present a special Christmas concert at the Brown County Music Center on December 11.

Justin Timberlake BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Justin Timberlake is making headlines again for business, family, music, and some fresh public intrigue. In one of the biggest developments, Timberlake and restaurateur Sam Fox jointly announced last week that The Twelve Thirty Club, their ambitious music-and-dining concept, will open a sprawling, multi-level location in downtown Austin by late 2027. Timberlake expressed excitement over restoring the historic building and crafting a live music space with Texas flavor, emphasizing how he intends to blend design and acoustics for a unique guest experience, a move that could position him as a major cultural player in Austin's evolving nightlife, as reported by Community Impact Austin. On social media, Timberlake and wife Jessica Biel have kept their marriage in the public eye, trading playful, loving messages that continue to endear them to fans. AOL featured their latest moment—a lighthearted compliment from Timberlake about Biel's curves, signaling ongoing harmony and media-driven interest in their celebrity romance.Financially, Timberlake retains impressive status. Multiple outlets, including JHU Innovations and Celebrity Net Worth, peg his net worth at somewhere between $250 million and $350 million thanks to a diversified portfolio spanning music, acting, investments, clothing lines, and restaurant ventures. However, he did reportedly take a substantial loss last week selling his Memphis golf course for just $500,000 after investing $16 million in eco-friendly renovations—an eye-catching business letdown with short-term sting but negligible long-term impact given his overall wealth and continued business successes, according to GolfWRX.Musically, Timberlake's influence remains as strong as ever. While no new music drop occurred this week, American Songwriter revisited his legendary 2015 CMA Awards duet with Chris Stapleton, underscoring his permanent stamp on genre-blending performances. Clips featuring “SexyBack” with Timbaland surfaced on TikTok and YouTube just days ago, continuing his run as a soundtrack staple among Gen Z and Millennial fans. Additionally, speculation is swirling about his next major entertainment move, with IMDb noting Timberlake's rumored appearance slated for a future Saturday Night Live, though official dates are not yet confirmed.Timberlake's reputation also remains subject to scrutiny, with Smart.dhgate and other outlets recapping legacy controversies that periodically resurface online. For now, the dominant narrative is about expansion—of his culinary empire, his happy home life, and his undimmed influence in music and entertainment. If this week's news is any indication, Justin Timberlake's icon status is not only secure but still growing.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI

I break down the nominees, share my hot takes, and talk about Megan Moroney vs Meghan Trainor — and whether the comparisons really make sense.I also share the hilarious (and painful) story of how I burned my hand on a protein bomb, plus why I only made it 43 seconds into the new All Is Fair show before quitting. And for all the Kellie Pickler fans out there, I discuss why we need to start a petition to get her a record deal or an Apple Music release immediately — she's overdue for some major recognition!Whether you're here for CMA predictions, country music drama, celebrity takes, or just a good laugh, this episode has something for every fan. He was born Jason DeFord in Nashville, Tennessee. By the time he was a teenager, he was in and out of jail, surrounded by addiction, violence, and survival. He thought his life would end the same way it began: in chaos. But somewhere inside those walls, he started writing lyrics and dreaming about music. Today, the world knows him as Jelly Roll, one of the most unlikely success stories in country music. He has gone from a decade behind bars to the top of the Billboard charts, winning CMA Awards and earning Grammy nominations along the way. His songs are raw, confessional, and painfully honest. They are about addiction, faith, shame, forgiveness, and the long, slow road to redemption. In this deeply moving conversation with Kate Langbroek, recorded backstage at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney minutes before he hit the stage, Jelly Roll went deep about how he turned his pain into purpose. He shares the stories of the people who saved him, including his wife, Bunnie XO, and his children. He opens up about his years in prison, his mother’s struggles, his faith, and the moment he learned that forgiveness starts with yourself. It is the story of a man who refused to give up on himself, even when the world had. A boy who became a better man, a husband, a father, and one of the most honest voices in country music today.
