It's been a good four years, but it's time for this journey to end.  JB, Chris and Sean see the current series of “Disney Who” off with a lengthy and rant-filled discussion of “Dot and Bubble”, “Rogue”, “The Legend of Ruby Sunday”, and “Empire of Death”.  The podcast will come back now and then with one-off episodes, but this is pretty much the end of the line as far as monthly episodes. But don't fret, because the fearless three have plans to record a new podcast which will be coming soon to an RSS feed near you.  Thank you all for listening.

Park views (amazing at fireworks time) fireworks, spacious and open design, monorail access... absolutely wonderful”.Pam chimed in as well: “Boardwalk. Love theming, view of the Boardwalk. Excellent location between HS & Epcot. As well as convenient to multiple restaurants including those in Beach/Yacht club. And the Salon at the Beach Club.”Sheila said: “Bay Lake Tower especially with the Ellis family.”Cindy said: “Bay Lake Towers!”John chimed in: “Only have stayed at Saratoga Springs, Wilderness Lodge, and the Contemporary. Out of these three, Wilderness Lodge was my favorite. Loved the grounds and the boat transport to the campgrounds Contemporary and MK. Saratoga Springs much larger layout. Was in one of the quiet buildings. That was nice, but only time I can say I didn't like the walk, but it was really not too bad about 5 to 10 minute walk to the main building for food. Contemporary, loved the monorail. Got to meet my Captain there, Captain Hook. My best bud for the villains. I can't put my finger on it, but the Contemporary just was missing some of the magic. Don't know if it is just that it is one of the original resorts and feeling its age. Looking forward to GF and the Beach Club in the next 3 years.”Cheddar from the Big CheeseMike: Officially, as of October 1st, the “Neighborhoods” at Epcot will be official. As a reminder, there is World Discovery, World Celebration, World Nature (all part of the original Future World section) and World Showcase, which remains the same. When he would come home from work, Walt would take two hot dogs -- called Weenies by Walt -- and eat one and give one to DeeDee. What Walt noticed was how she would follow exactly where the weenie was moved. Walt took that memory and told it to the WED designers for Disneyland that he wanted to lead the Guests to move to certain areas of the park, and the concept of Disney Weenies was born.Sophie's Favorite Disney WeeniesEPCOT's Fountain of NationsMagic Kingdom's Cinderella Castle at Christmas at nightThe Grand Floridian ResortBrenda's Favorite Disney WeeniesHollywood Studio's Tower of TerrorThe Contemporary Resort Monorail trackAnimal Kingdom's Hallelujah MountainsMike's Favorite Disney WeeniesAmerican Adventure PavilionAnimal Kingdom's Expedition EverestMagic Kingdom's Space MountainThis Day in Disney History for June 28Walt Disney writes to all of the staff, inviting them to the opening of Disneyland on July 17, 1955.Disney Who's Who CharacterLightning McQueen from CarsWalt Disney Quote“The important thing is the family. Episode 4 - Favorite Quick Service Restaurants In this week's On the Road with Mickey, we are talking about our favorite quick service restaurants at Walt Disney World. A little disclaimer, this week is a little short because we've been battling with a nasty head cold, so our voice quality is worse than normal as a result. Still, Sophie and I didn't want to miss a week of recording, and here's what we talked about. First, Sophie gave an overview of what the Quick Service Dining Plan is -- kind of a high-level overview in case anyone wanted to look into adding it for their next Disney vacation. Then, we went around the parks, looking at first the Magic Kingdom, then Epcot, then Animal Kingdom, and finally, Hollywood Studios. After that, Sophie gave her This Day in Disney History segment for January 27th.Lastly, I talked about the Disney Who's Who character for this week. Can you guess who it is? Coming up next week in Episode 5, Sophie and I are going to talk some more about the upcoming trip -- will you believe that next week we'll already be into February, and only a little over a month from our trip? So we hope you'll stop by and give us a listen! Thanks for following us on all of your favorite podcast platforms, and for giving us excitement about the podcast!
