If you're longing for some real music that you can feel in your heart, lyrics that speak to your soul, and a live performance with the power to blow the roof off the building, you can stop right here. If you're tired of all the staged choreography, blinding light shows, capes, costumes, lip-synching and auto-tunes that seem to have taken over live performances, you have found a place to rest, refresh, and renew. Welcome to the world of Laura Cheadle. Along with her Family Band, she has opened for some of the biggest names in the business and won numerous awards, including “Best Indie Jazz/Blues Band” at WXPN sponsored Tri-State Indie Music Awards. She has performed on stages from NYC to London, appeared on 6ABC's “Tuned In” as the very first viewer's choice, the “NBC 10” Show, and the National reality show “Next Great Family Band.” Laura was recently featured in Curve Magazine, named one of “100 Women We Love” in Go Magazine, and declared a “Super Woman” in South Jersey Magazine for her active Charity Work. As Traveler Guitar's newest Brand Ambassador and a recent distribution deal with Sony Orchard, her solo career is starting to explode, performing a set at NAMM2020, filming specialized performance and educational video segments for Next Level Guitar's site, and having recently been honored with the Musician of the Decade award for her body of work and trend-setting style. One of her original compositions was recently included in a popular TV show, and she participated in a Philadelphia Film project with a seamlessly acted feature role in the short film “Ether.” Gifted with a voice powerful enough to shake rafters, and tender enough to navigate the entire range of the emotional scale, Laura Cheadle is a singer commanding more than just a listen or a look. The weekly preview show from The Fantasy Football Guys. We analyze every game, with start/sit recommendations, injury news, fun facts, biased opinions, and more!
James & Kevin wonder if the Eternals will last before looking back at the trailer for The Green Knight having seen the movie, marveling at how much that thing spoils in retrospect even though they didn't feel that way while watching the movie. After a hearty head's off to The Green Knight, they put a couple glocks in their pocket and go Free Guy.
After some culotte adorned rest and relaxation, James & Kevin return -- recording in person! -- to review trailers, figuring things probably wouldn't be too crazy while they were gone. QUITE THE CONTRARY. They hit the ground running, Courtesy Honking enough to sound like a car alarm, passing out free thoughts on Free Guy, getting down on one knee for Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, winking at The Eyes of Tammy Faye, blow up Tick Tick Boom's spot, decide if Halloween Kills is where they wanna be, fall off of a Clifford the Big Red Dog trailer, be enchanted by Encanto, and try to figure out if the big exit sign has anything to do with getting out of Escape Room 2. Which is quite a bit! So the boys decide to take a breather-- QUITE THE CONTRARY. They hop on a plane and head to Cannes, eager to check out this year's crop of movies from around the world, and dunk on any film that had the audacity to show up without a trailer (not even a clip, Sean Penn?! CHRIST.) Who will win the coveted Palm Door from Trailer Hitch this year? Will Wes Anderson take offense if the boys tell him his movie was better when it was a two and a half minute montage? Have they gotten any closer to figuring out what the hell is going on in Annette, or why it absolutely slaps? Join them in France to find out! The boys are going on vacation! But, before they don the culottes and drink something out of a coconut, James & Kevin give a Tune-Up to Jungle Cruise (they... really had vacation on their minds...), decide if Eternals will last the test of time, have something to say about Last Night in Soho, and finally decide if they can see anything of themselves in Old. That's not a car alarm outside, the boys are just Courtesy Honk-ing *a lot*. They find some fun in The Amusement Park, go in depth on Jenny's husband's opinion of Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard, and decide if The Forever Purge will last. Granted, that's a lotta honking, so off to the shop the podcast goes... and, hey, while they're there, they give a quick Tune-Up to A Quiet Place Part II. Then, James & Kevin, hankering to talk about a movie, decide to give a quick Trailer in the Rearview of Mortal Kombat to finish the discourse on it. Finally (big episode this week!), they say good night to The Green Knight and indulge in the chaos of Venom: Let There be Carnage. James & Kevin may have missed the boat on the new Space Jam trailer, so they introduce Brake Check to get some thoughts out on whether it had enough Larry Bird. Then, they place their bets on Army of the Dead, all before refreshing themselves with F9.

Today we chat with Kevin Ramsey, founder of Warren James. Kevin's company creates merchandise for digital celebrities and he has actually seen a ton of success in the midst of the COVID pandemic. In this episode we cover some updates on the business since I last talked to him over a year ago, and we talk about the difference between lag / lead goals and how to be an effective goal setter. If you want to check out Kevin's episode just tap here!
The boys?! Unfiltered?! But what of their, "Um's"?! It's a risk they're willing to take, especially because they have a lot of great content to dissect. After questioning the utility of a sizzle reel after seeing Netflix and HBO Max's offerings for the year, James & Kevin head into the teaser trailer showroom to bask in the weirdness of Barb & Star Go to Vista Del Rey. Then, they have a taste of Cherry and spend a night at Willy's Wonderland.
After a wild All Saints Day, James & Kevin check out the Mexican jumping beans of Mank, are glad it's November while reviewing Halloween Kills, head off to Dreamland, and try to shake the Stardust off a Bowie biopic.
Finally atoning for their goofs, James & Kevin get in the (spooky) trenches for Ghosts of War and do a deep dive on Deep Blue Sea 3. It's a lot to tackle, so thankfully Bad Movie Correspondent, Social Media Manager, James' Roommate... and maybe James' fiance?... Jenny Hoks helps the boys look in the rearview, bringing extensive Deep Blue Sea knowledge and a whole lotta puns.
James & Kevin stop the presses for Fatman, and discuss its hilarious premise, whether they can accept Mel Gibson as the lead, and who they'd get to play Cupid in the spin-off.
It's so hot. To beat the heat, James & Kevin decide to get in an air conditioned car and go Cross Country to try to find cooler land. They make a deal with The Devil All the Time, order a stiff one for On the Rocks, curse their gas powered cars with Tesla, have a sobering moment with The Binge, regard the royalty of Get Duked, forgive past betrayals with Judas and the Black Messiah, and applaud the horniness of Death on the Nile (the steaminess was worth breaking the pun run, trust me). They also spend more time on Space Jam 2 than the marketing team did, and tease DC Fandome. Please note at the time of recording, they had no idea what (if anything) would premiere, so forgive Kevin's hesitancy to participate since he was still rubbed raw by this year's lackluster Comic Con. Now knowing what was in store, he agrees he could, in more ways than one, afford to chill. Trailer Hitch is officially in the triple digit club! Having conquered 100 episodes worth of trailers, they celebrate by conquering Comic Con 2020... Which is basically a victory lap. Due to the pandemic there are alarmingly few trailers, but due diligence demands it, damn it! James & Kevin see if there's anything new with The New Mutants, mount some Antlers, try to harmonize their "Whoa's" for Bill & Ted Face the Music, make lifelong foes outta Archenemy, and though they agree Kilroy Was Here they wonder why.
James & Kevin, equipped with a clunky show name to honor a certain football team, go Rogue and wonder when The New Mutants is coming out. The boys also get their first screener... for Money Plane. They note the irony that their first free movie they've gotten for the podcast is called Money Plane and go sky high. Finally, cause who doesn't wanna get away these days, they go to Palm Springs and talk ad infinitum about the possibilities the premise belies.
With an ever growing list of trailers, but an ever shrinking amount to say about some of them, James & Kevin introduce Courtesy Honk, where they touch on various trailers that they only have a paltry quip for. Through this, they give you notably abridged thoughts on Greenland, the 450th trailer for The King's Man (aforementioned number is a horrific overestimate), Waiting For the Barbarians, and Peninsula. Those trailers alone are worth entire episodes, though (well, maybe except for The King's Man...)! What could possibly top those?! Quite a bit, it turned out! The boys get the fatigues scared off of them with Ghosts of War, admire the Broken Hearts Gallery, take a repetitious trip to Palm Springs, and go off the deep end with a request to review Deep Blue Sea 3. Worth noting that we indeed had technical difficulties this episode, which will lead to a MIGHTY NOTICEABLE dip in audio quality on Kevin's end. While we sincerely regret this, we're slightly heartened that this happened during the review of Deep Blue Sea 3, which is arguably too perfect.

Things are pretty tense out there, so James & Kevin go Cross Country to get away for a while. On their journey, they donate some time to Da 5 Bloods, pay their respects to The Old Guard, go a bit Unhinged, don't quite find self-actualization with The Transcendents, reckon with a Force of Nature, bury the past with Relic, decide if The Wanting Mare could be a little less demanding, find out how much room and board is with Tenet, all before arriving at their final destination of Antebellum (... again.)
Today on the show we talk to Kevin Ramsey, founder of Warren James, a custom merchandising firm that specializes in the content creator ecosystem. I just threw a lot of words at you there so let me break down what we’re actually looking at here. A decade ago when people heard the term content creator, they thought of a bunch of teens with crappy webcams recording vlogs in their room for YouTube. Now, those teens are all grown up and have developed themselves into some of the most recognizable brands in the world. And I’m not talking about small mom-and-pop shop off-brand brands, only known within their respective communities. Content creators are amassing millions of followers, and with those millions of followers are coming millions of dollars. And with this money, has come legitimization. Consequently, the gap between established brands like Gucci and new-age brands like Jefferey Star Cosmetics is shrinking. The brands these creators have built out of themselves have become so massive, so exponentially popular that I think it’s likely that their names will soon come to rival traditional name brands in terms of cultural impact. And this is where Kevin’s company, Warren James, steps in. Warren James is capitalizing on this personal branding, offering custom products that previously were only available to large companies. Basically, with the help of Warren James, these content creators can stop selling crappy off-center screen printed t-shirts, and instead market custom Nikes. Kevin has discovered a niche within an already-developed marketplace. Content creators were already generating merchandise for their personal brands. But now he was giving them a chance to expand their shops. He wasn’t breaking the wheel, or even reinventing it; instead, think of it as adding customized rims to the car.
Another couple of weeks of quarantining and... someone's still making trailers?! BLESS YOUR HEART, WHOEVER YOU ARE, CAUSE YOU'RE GIVING US STUFF TO DISSECT. James & Kevin pick sides for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy Vs. The Reverend, and determine if We Are Little Zombies is dead on arrival, and talking about the critical woe of wanting to love something but just not being able to connect with it. Next, another couple of weeks of quarantining and... there still aren't too many new movies! BLESS YOUR HEARTS, WHOEVER YOU ARE, BECAUSE YOU'RE CLEARLY QUARANTINING TOO. As such, James & Kevin take a look at another VOD staple in our trying time: The Hunt. They talk about great fight choreography and why satire is such a tightrope walk.
Another fortnight in containment yielded a surprising amount of trailers -- we had initially anticipated zero -- so the boys determine if they, um, like Valley Girl, and drum up an opinion about some bootlegged Capone footage. Then, James & Kevin look Onward. Though they never reviewed the trailer for the show, they manage to give you the 411 on if the trailer properly conveyed the film, and their thoughts about the controversial ending.
James & Kevin are known for their overkill. Though they only have to be six feet apart, the boys chose to be a mile and a half apart, recording in their respective, quarantined apartments. But their distance makes their hearts grow fonder for trailers, and they got a couple doozies. They begin with The Main Event, then flunk out of Bad Education. Next, they introduce Hi-Beam, Lo-Beam, where one person watches all of the promotional material before seeing a movie, while the other goes in blind. James hadn't heard of One Cut of the Dead before watching it for the show, whereas Kevin saw all of the spoiler-y trailers. Will this lead to the experience being soured for the latter? Can a trailer spoil a film but not its experience? They investigate... separately.
The boys may have slept on the Oscars this year, but they didn't forget to award the first annual Best Trailer Picture to their favorite trailer of the Best Picture nominees. Too little, too late? The winner of our non-existent trophy will decide... But before they can decide, the boys hit the road and go Cross Country once again. Their journey brings them all the way to The French Dispatch, taking in the heartland to admire some Deerskin, getting something to eat with Candyman, make it a point to stay connected with... er, Connected, all before arriving at their final destination of Antebellum (probably coulda picked a more cheery destination, but it'll do.) Finally, James & Kevin saw some movies! They look at Sonic the Hedgehog and decide if the arduous trailer history that little blue guy had was worth it, and then cap things off with The Invisible Man, and whether or not that trailer shoulda stayed invisible too.
James & Kevin spin out of control trying to make sense of Chris Rock's 600 Tuesdays line from Spiral: From the Book of Saw. Next, the boys rank this year's Super Bowl spots! Whether it be with a rigorous method of criticism or a series of disinterested grunts, they give you the lowdown on this year's mini-trailers. Which trailers played like Pat Mahomes in the first half of the Super Bowl, throwing their potential into the dirt? Which trailers played like Pat Mahomes in the second half of the Super Bowl, finding their target 40 yards down the field for a momentum shifting play? Trailer Hitch's official power ranking will give you the scoop!
James & Kevin stumble over Standing Up, Falling Down, and get a few bats up in here with Morbius. With the Cats out of the bag, the boys catch up with a far less maligned 2019 film with 1917. They look back at a trailer that had to juggle selling a concept that (as far as they can surmise) can't be sold in a trailer and several narrative twists, all before getting into the trenches of the film itself.
We came, we saw, we watched some trailers! As evidence of this, James & Kevin go through their respective top five trailers of the year, giving you the very best of this year's excellent crop. But wait! There's a late bloomer in those crops! Perhaps Christopher Nolan was trying to sneak one by the boys, but send a late rent notice to Tenet all the same. Does its inclusion in this episode mean that it places highly on one of their lists? That could be one of five reasons to listen to Trailer Hitch's Top 5 Trailers of the year! Special thanks to all of our expats, be they in the music, art, or social media realms for their fantastic work this year, and to you for listening (or scrolling by on social media or Apple Podcasts)!
While most critics are winding down at the end of the year with Top 10 lists, James & Kevin are just getting warmed up with a full 11 trailers to review just in time to wrap out 2019! To accommodate all of the trailers, James & Kevin hit the road in a new segment called Cross Country, where they give themselves five minutes a pop to dissect each one. They're incentivized to go quick though, because any time they save goes directly to talking about In the Heights, their final destination on their road trip. If the boys fail to talk about all eleven trailers in less than 50 minutes... then they have to watch another Double Never Need to See Film. Tune in to find out if they faceplant, and to hear thoughts on all these trailers: Black Widow Togo No Time to Die The Assistant Mulan Promising Young Woman Wonder Woman 1984 Escape From Pretoria Ghostbusters: After-Life Free Guy In the Heights
James & Kevin decide if the new Cats trailer is top of the feline, marvel at a great juxtaposition in Antebellum, and commit regicide with The Christmas Prince 3: The Royal Baby. Then, the boys get their first instance where a trailer wildly mis-sold a movie! They dive into the implications of dramatically altering the story for a trailer (especially when it's a better creative choice) while giving Little Monsters a fair shake on its own merit as a film.
Halloween has come and gone, and to accommodate for that, James & Kevin... mostly review horror trailers. They see what Little Joe has grown into with a new trailer, wonder if they can let go of their issues with The Grudge, and pass out over The Aeronauts. Then, they do a Trailer in the Rearview on Zombieland 2: Double Tap, hoping the "comedy" comes through more in "horror" because, again, they should really be on to Thanksgiving at this point...
With an internet (and New York Jets) breaking trailer, James & Kevin record a bonus episode for Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker. They talk about JJ Abrams's growth as a visual director, the mirrors between the final trailer of the new trilogy with the first trailer of the new trilogy, and how the strongest force of evil in the galaxy appears to be an angry chair. May the Hitchhikers be with you. Always.
In this extended, special episode, James & Kevin figure out if they'll throw a bone to Lady & The Tramp, then... er, figure out if they'll throw a bone to Doolittle. This is the first time we could use the same pun twice in an episode, so forgive us for the double dip. Then, the boys get sea-sick while watching Jungle Cruise, get in the epicenter of Bombshell, and give their (very) abridged thoughts on Tenet. To cap it all off, James & Kevin give you their (very) unabridged thoughts on Joker, ranging from whether or not it's a well-crafted movie, debating the nature of art influencing violence, and if this is a good movie to watch while quitting smoking.
James & Kevin are mostly doing repair work this week, tuning up trailers previously reviewed! They find their King's Man again, warn their past selves that there's another Terminator: Dark Fate trailer, and while they have the opportunity to travel through time, head on back to 1917. Long as they're in a repair shop, they take a look at El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie before finding the bomb in Richard Jewell and determining if Birds of Prey takes flight.
James & Kevin finish setting the table with the second trailer for Knives Out. Next, they bring the house down with Countdown, and tend to The Secret Garden. They also finally named the segment where they watch an older movie trailer! In the newly christened Backup Camera, the boys compare The Secret Garden remake to the trailer for the 1993 version of the same film.
While LA basks in a heatwave, James & Kevin bring the heat with this packed episode. They begin with a deep dive into the Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker special look that dropped at D23, speculating on whether Rey will join the Dark Side (and conclude quickly: no.) Next, they tune up a gaggle of trailers they've already reviewed, seeing if they're still laughing at Joker, whether their opinions of Terminator: Dark Fate has been sealed, and bounce after a second look at Jojo Rabbit. Next, they run away with Lady and The Tramp, mispronounce Zach Galifinakis' name while reviewing Between Two Ferns: The Movie, and ride together with Bad Boys For Life.
A plethora of trailers forces James & Kevin to get creative... well, not too creative, since all they have at their disposal is a hat and some paper. But they use these to full effect, letting happenstance and a whiskey-addled hand decide what they'll be reviewing this episode. Will you hear about Underwater, and how it looks like Event Horizon in an entirely different horizon? The hat will decide! As for their locks, the boys get to the epicenter of Bombshell, and look back at The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996), missing Trailer Voice Guy every step of the way.
James & Kevin hit the Teaser Trailer Showroom to ponder whether the lack of Mulan dressing as a man in the teaser means they're getting rid of a core element, or if they just showed us the end of the film (also, NO MUSHU, WHAT'S THE DEAL?!) Next, they sharpen their wits for Knives Out, head somewhere over the rainbow to find the Judy trailer, and then watch the Frankenstein's Monster's Monster, Frankenstein trailer to see if it's alive.

James & Kevin swing with Peter Parker to the UK, grappling with the implications of including spoilers for a movie that came out three weeks prior in a trailer, wondering if having a villain from an alternate dimension lessens our ability to empathize with them, and whether or not the dick-punch gag worked. With an abundance of trailers dropping left and right, the boys take Spiderman's lead and sod off to Europe, embarking on their third Cannes-Quest. They assess the trailers, clips, or lack there of in... (Googles)... sunny France! Whether it be a kinetic romp like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, or a sweeping romance (with raking!) like A Hidden Life, they give you their assessment of this year's crop from the international festival, and dole out the coveted Palm Door for Best Trailer. Ooh! Someone wrote in, too! James & Kevin also take in some feedback regarding Detective Pikachu and Sonic the Hedgehog, and are asked to assess if they were too easy on the former and too hard on the latter. And if you want the boys to review a particular trailer or expand on previous thoughts, be sure to email in at trailerhitchmailbox@gmail.com!
James & Kevin keep lookin' back in the rearview, determining if anything in Us made them untethered, and if lightning finally struck in the DC Universe with Shazam.
Nerds had a hell of a week! James & Kevin give their quick thoughts on Sonic the Hedgehog, give their aye aye's to Captain Marvel, all before making their final move on Avengers: Endgame (unless someone decides to see it again).
In this episode of DE214, The show opens with the track mix of “Gratitude” this is a unique mix and features a nice complement between James' clean Stratocaster tone, and James Mitchell's heavier rocked out Les Paul sound, especially in the beginning of the track. It has a very “Petty esque” tone that is luscious to the senses. The show features the final “Mastered” version of the song “Gratitude” at the close of the show that is also the title track that went on the album of the same name. In this episode, we discuss: • James drove on his trip to the entire lower Eastern seaboard, then came back North through Florida's West Coast and into Nashville for a few days, then off to Morehead Kentucky to visit my friend and extraordinary guitarist George Barker, his wife Kris, and his brother Welton, both George and Welton are alumni of the infamous but most amazing band from the mid 70's “Tangent”. • English Bob stops by to visit, in his classic Jalopy, English Bob is a bit nervous and reticent to meet with Peter Griffin again as Peter showed up as a real cartoon on the last visit. James comments on English Bob's brightened suspenders that were recently treated with Iodine and then Vulcanized. English is using a new service “Yandal Booenpicken” who specializes in Iodine and Vulcanization techniques, giving them a bright and cheery, and effective, yandy, glassy of hangy. • There are no siestas in Lower Ipswitch, English sputters like a car as he gets stuck on his magnanimity approach. He then describes Yandal's second business, that he opens in the afternoon, “Boone Pickens Chickens”. • Yandals process for best chicken, “He bakes it, he broilers is, he fries it, then he barbecues it. He does all four procedures. Feathers are optional, special orders, don't upset us, just let us serve you, and be a guest of us” The “ruffle effect”. • English Bob's pocket watch goes off and it's time for his deep knee bends. • Peter Griffin arrives and has swords with him, and being a cartoon character he immediately projects a hologram of a freeway right in the studio and almost gets James run over by a truck. Best Quotes from English Bob: “Yandal is a groundbreaking Booenpicken chicken man”. “Oh a tempest in the Titanic”. “Well Peter, you see I have been the most famous man alive in lower Ipswitch, when it comes to fencing, yes I can lunge, parret, or engarde”. “Take that, you big bellied ballet dancer you”. “James are you aware that you have a freeway running through your studio at the moment?” • On James Kevin's music: “It tends to remind me of Howling Wolf stuck in a peach tree overnight. Best quotes from Peter Griffin: “Hey how about this, get a load of my flamethrower” “Damn the Torpedoes, full stampede and buffalo ahead”. “English Bob, your quite the swordsman, and I will always Paul Revere this dharmiconalova, as long as I live, and I never thought I would be in a swords contest today when I brought the swords, James Kevin”. Best quotes from James: • On calling the sword fight: “English Bob looks like he has the upper hand so far, I think he is going to slip in his world famous Ubiquitous Larchmont Move any second, (patent pending of course), but I understand that Peter Griffin has a Big Belly Ballet move that may be a close-sleeper”. “Wow both opponents giving it all that they have, they left nothing on the floor today in this unbelievable swordsmanship, as I've never seen before”. “Gentlemen, I don't have a hat on, but if I did, it would be off to both of you”. IT'S FINALLY HERE. Resident Bad Movie Correspondent (and potentially Good Trailer Correspondent...?) Jenny Hoks joins James & Kevin, who are on cloud nine with the new Star Wars Episode IX trailer (WHICH HAS A TITLE AND EVERYTHING). They also give abridged roars for The Lion King, merit a little playtime to Child's Play, and go quick and mean for Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. There IS another guest on the show... and that's (some of) you! We'd like to give sincere thanks to those who lent their thoughts on the new Star Wars trailer, live from the 2019 Star Wars Celebration in Chicago! The kind folks who gave us social media handles are below: @KenNapzok @ForceCenterPod @Jesscejalvo @jennifer_hoks @Scavenger_Jess
Back in their nocturnal element, James & Kevin give Tune-Ups to a batch of horror films: Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark gets another chapter, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile somehow gets more adjectives, and Pet Semetary tries to rise from the Need to See More ashes. Then, the boys lighten up! They take a machete to The Dead Don't Die, spy My Spy with their little eyes, and take a gander at a trailer some people call the gangster of love... they're wrong, of course, because it's Joker.
Following their ill-fated Hitch Hikers segment, James & Kevin had to watch a Never Need to See movie - chosen by you! - and BOY DID THEY EVER cause here comes Cult of Chucky. But they're not alone drinking this Kool Aid - Jenny Hoks, the rockstar social media and bad movie correspondent joins them as they marvel at decapitations, a wonky mythos, and their running bet for which character would die first.
You are in for a real treat during this episode of the dHarmic Evolution podcast. James Kevin is joined by his good friend English Bob and special guest Peter Griffin from Family Guy. You may recall that Jacked Up Jimmy is on a bowling team with Peter Griffin, who is a fan of James Kevin's music and podcast, so he stopped by the show. During the course of the conversation, English Bob revealed that he has never been to London because of the terrifying thought that London Bridge has fallen down or will fall down while he is there. When James Kevin asks if he might consider talking with a therapist about this fear, English says that he doesn't think they exist in Lower Ipswich, and he doubts even that would work. James Kevin emphasizes that he expects English to be in London for his tour kickoff, and asks if it would help if Dr. Woofenboot came along. Still, English Bob remains adamantly against going to London. Suddenly, Peter Griffin shows up at the studio door, and while James Kevin is intrigued that he has come as a cartoon, English Bob is (of course) terrified. Peter greets James Kevin and English and says that he is a fan of James Kevin's music even if Jacked Up Jimmy isn't. He goes on to say that even though a lot of people are frightened when he shows up places as a cartoon, it has tremendous advantages such as being able to imagine and then become things and being indestructible, and also going out on Halloween as the Waldorf Astoria! Peter gets overly excited when James Kevin begins to describe his song “Three Miles Wide” and isn't really able to concentrate on anything else for the rest of the show. You are in for a treat during this episode of the dHarmic Evolution podcast as James Kevin is joined by his good buddy Jacked Up Jimmy. It is never a dull moment with Jacked Up, who is a business agent for the IBEW electrical union with quite a colorful life, though it seems completely normal to him. The first indication that James Kevin was in for an interesting interview with Jacked Up was his mode of transportation. Clancy Wagonblast loaned Jacked Up his “car” while Jacked Up was getting his snow tires put on, but the “car” turned out to be a backhoe instead. The new song that James Kevin is featuring during this episode is “Fifty-One Shades of Grey”, which is ironic because Jacked Up and his wife, Matilda, only have sex when it is absolutely necessary. Since this was not a safe topic of conversation, they moved on to talking about Jacked Up's bowling league and his team, the “Hurry Kanes”, recently winning the championship, the coveted Plastic Cup. One of Jacked Up's teammates is the infamous Peter Griffin of Family Guy fame, but it is still unclear whether he is a cartoon in real life. James Kevin will find out if Jacked Up follows through on his promise to have Peter come in for an interview on the show. Jacked Up was recently named the Honorary Elk of the Year, and in his attempt to get all dressed up for the event, he realized that he was out of razors. Given his limited time, he had to improvise by shaving with a hatchet he had lying around, and he posted the video to James Kevin's channel (link below) for your viewing entertainment. Finally, Jacked Up gave James Kevin an update on the European tour that he and English Bob are planning, which sustained a few hiccups when Jacked Up and English got into a tussle and had to patch things up and then when Jacked Up encountered some problems with the dancers' union in London. Apparently, he thought that James Kevin's show needed dancers, but they got it all straightened out. The interview abruptly ended when Jacked Up's beeper went off and he informed listeners that he had to go break some guy's leg in Kearny, New Jersey. James & Kevin take another look at Aladdin to see what the fuss was all about (oh, the Genie) before getting their first impressions of Frozen 2. To accommodate all of the new music biopics (THANKS, BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY), the boys go Hitch-Hiking to give rapid fire thoughts on 11 trailers (and half of them are music related!) Then, James & Kevin figure out if they'd like to play with Child's Play, figure out the odds of seeing Long Shot in a theater, and give you their thoughts on Yesterday today.
We celebrate episode #200 on the dHarmic Evolution today with an old friend, “Jacked up Jimmy” he comes to the interview in classic Jacked up Style loud and boisterous as ever. But he left the interview in such a sweat that he jumped into some strangers Hot Mustang and sped off to take care of his Union problem! On the show, he explains to James Kevin about his troubles with the Union, men showing up without their workboots, and no hard hats. Member of the Elks Club Lodge bowls with his buddies on Tuesday night. Favorite quotes by Jacked up Jimmy: “A guy comes with his boots off, what is that,? or he shows up without his hard hat, sometimes they don't cooperate and I gotta make sure they do” “You gotta have alignment, you can't just have complete anarchy.” “It's like going to bowling at night without the ball, sometimes we do go bowling without the ball, its just a happenstance of circumstance.” “Listen you gotta understand something about the bowling, it's never about the bowling, it's an excuse the get away from our wives.” “Its camaraderie, its escapist, it's escapism, that's the whole thing about it.” “James Kevin, so you have a camaraderie session, and you sit there and complain about your wife.” Injuries to Vilhelm Fernandahollow, who threw the ball so hard that he sprained his scrotum, but he will be back, he will be bigger than sliced bread. On the subject of English Bob: “He's got me waiting in the Lobby!” “Maybe there is some trouble at home with Mama Bob?” “Mama Bob, she's the Matriarch, she's like the ark of the covenant.” Jacked up Jimmy's beeper went off and he had to go take care of “Union business and throw some guy off a roof or something.” Jacked up Jimmy video on Youtube State of Grace single Geography of the Soul Album State of Grace Written by James Kevin O'Connor You tried to tear me up and then spit me out like broken glass on a highway crash you did a pretty shameful thing when we said goodbye and you walked out with that ring, I felt a little bitty sting. Top Five Reasons to Listen to Trailer Hitch's Top Five Trailers of 2018: 1. James & Kevin are professionals! Anyone else looking at trailers as their own art form?! 2. Unless it involves Star Wars, they're fairly objective. 3. There's a few curveballs in these lists! Up to and including different #1's! (James had forgotten Kevin's #1 even came out that year). 4. They bothered to put in the proper research to say what month the trailer came out! ... Well, James did. 5. NEED I REMIND YOU, THEY'RE PC AF. Thanks again to our contributors and listeners for making this another fantastic year!

James & Kevin take Vox Lux back in for a Tune-Up and change their ratings. Next, they stop at the Teaser Trailer Showroom to cry Artemis Fowl, christen The Lion King, and make a story out of Once Upon a Deadpool. Then, they acquit On the Basis of Sex, decide if State Like Sleep is catatonic, and break in some thoughts on The Intruder. Also, a hearty congratulations to James Lieske & Jenny Hoks!
James & Kevin do their due diligence by checking out the third trailer for The Grinch and seeing if the new Mary Poppins Returns trailer is less terrifying than its first impression. Then, they consider their options with Prospect, decide if they're gonna follow Apostle, sing their praises for The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, and decide whether Captain Marvel lives up to her name. AND THEN (they, er, had a lot to say this week), the boys do a Trailer in the Rearview for Mandy, decide whether the extreme arthouse aesthetic came through in the trailer, all before diving in to the film itself. In honor of the film, we kept all of their pauses in tact from the raw audio, and linger on beats just a liiiiiiiitle too long.
James & Kevin decide whether or not they prefer The Favourite, have someone else review Colette and take the credit for it, all before basking in the crazy… EVIL of Mandy. The boys also dust off their thumbs and get to Hitch-Hiking in the hopes of avoiding another dreaded Double Never Need to See review… https://trailerhitch.files.wordpress.com/2018/07/th_47_final.mp3
James & Kevin go hunting for The Predator, WAIT, I SHOULD’VE KEPT THE HUNTING PUN FOR THE LEGACY OF A WHITETAIL DEER HUNTER. Now I don’t have a prayer in saving this description… WAIT, NO, CREED II! The boys also take Madeline’s Madeline a spin in the Teaser Trailer Showroom, look back on Hereditary and Tag, all before wrapping up with some Drive-Thru Reviews of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Tully. *Note: We go into full spoilers for Hereditary and Tag, and our “post credit sequence” also contains a spoiler for Hereditary… be advised!* https://trailerhitch.files.wordpress.com/2018/07/th_ep46_final.mp3
The Business of Collectibles, Appraisals Auctions: Where we are…where are we going. Travis, James & Kevin share their over-50 collective years of experience in the business of collecting. Where is the future taking us? So much is an unknown, but listen in as these powerhouses in the world of collecting talk about their future, and yours - and how you can jump on board some fast moving trends…to your entrepreneurial success.
James & Kevin uncover the BlacKkKlansman trailer, determine whether The Happytime Murders lives up to its name, try to oblige A Simple Favor, and cap it all off with an after dinner Peppermint. https://trailerhitch.files.wordpress.com/2018/06/th_44_final.mp3
James & Kevin do a lone review of Solo, looking at a singular trailer and one franchise movie and determining whether it’s best left alone. It’s spoiler city up in here, so if you haven’t seen the movie, you may want to get off on the next exit! https://trailerhitch.files.wordpress.com/2018/06/th_titrv_solo_final.mp3
Another year, another smattering of films vying for the Palme D’Or at the Cannes Film Festival. Grand artistic statements will be made! At least three pretentious interviews will happen. Hearts will be broken when certain films aren’t recognized… With any luck, James & Kevin will try to mend some broken hearts with their own awards! A filmmaker might not win the Palme D’Or, but the trailer for their film might win the Palm Door, which is Trailer Hitch’s top prize for the segment! Sure, Burning is heavily favored to win the Palme D’Or, but how will it fair for the Palm Door? All these questions and more are answered! Additionally, before they get on the flight to France, the boys stop in the Trailer Show Room and take a gander at The Predator and Bohemian Rhapsody. https://trailerhitch.files.wordpress.com/2018/05/th_43_final.mp3
James & Kevin pass down their thoughts on Hereditary for a new generation, catch up with The Catcher Was a Spy, and throw a crazy amount of puns at Crazy Rich Asians. The boys also take a second look at Venom (now featuring Venom!), and go to the Trailer Showroom to check out A Simple Favor, Manhunt, and Robin Hood. https://trailerhitch.files.wordpress.com/2018/05/th_42_final.mp3
Give us a mug that says “Over the Hill,” cause Trailer Hitch just turned 40! James and Kevin celebrate with a trailer for a movie that’s been in development hell for about as long as they’ve been alive (The Man Who Killed Don Quixote). Afterwards, James and Kevin shred an Annihilation review, and reach the kill screen with Ready Player One. What a Super Bowl! Eight TV spots premiered, ranging from so-Solo to Sky-high-scraper. Oh! And I guess there was football– BUT NEVER MIND THAT. James & Kevin rank the Super Bowl spots while giving succinct mini-reviews on each. With the Super Bowl wrapped up, it appears as if ALL THE TRAILERS dropped this past week, so the boys premiere their new segment, Tailgating, where they hang out in the parking lot after the game and spit about the Venom trailer, break down Deadpool 2 like it’s a fourth wall, and team up to tackle Solo. https://trailerhitch.files.wordpress.com/2018/02/211.mp3
New year, not new us… well, we’re still hungover from New Years, so I suppose that’s new… No worries, though! James & Kevin hit the ground running regardless with three Main Drag trailers. They welcome Tully’s offer for help, tell you whether Ocean’s 8 sinks, and then beat the final boss of the night by reviewing the Game Over, Man! trailer. https://trailerhitch.files.wordpress.com/2018/01/11318.mp3

Gesso Mystic Eyes resided in the UK, but grew up in Ghana, in the Western part of Africa, he loves Sundays, as Sunday's were "Fun days" according to Gesso, he was in a band "The Bad Examples" and James Kevin felt he was in that band. James Kevin thought he called Africa a country, but he would be wrong, Gesso, wanted to be a Civil Engineer, but music pulled him away. James Kevin thought it would take several lifetimes to tour the Continent of Africa! Hendrix was the catalyst for Gesso's approach to music, Hendrix was an underground figure in the music of Ghana at the time. Pop and local music were what everyone was listening to, but Gesso was pulled toward the Rock music and Western cadences. "Love Vibrations" is up and rocking! Gesso plays all of the instruments on this track and he uses the word Love in all of his songs. Gesso refers to his guitars as concubines! James Kevin refers to the acoustic soundhole!#$%^ Playing the next track, "Love Light"~ Gesso had two traffic accidents that have prevented him from being mobile and able to play gigs. Gesso is a very good stage performer and frontman, and looking forward to healing and getting back to the stage! He embraces Yoga as a means to heal and keep his spirit healthy. The new album is called "Freedom Chant" and is hard rock Reggae and chanting. "Sunshine girl" and "Sign of Love" are two tracks that will be on the new album. Playing "Love is Divine" Gesso is a solo act and does it all on his own with very little help. The new tracks and the new album has him very excited to share this with the world! *Links to Gesso's music https://www.reverbnation.com/alphonsoaquistaddo https://www.facebook.com/GessoMysticeyes?fref=ts id488007651
