Die aktuelle Folge von «Games To Listen» steht ganz im Zeichen von Nintendos neuster Spielkonsole «Nintendo Switch». Nachdem wir bereits in der letzten Ausgabe von «Gamester spielt» die neue Konsole gezeigt haben, hat unser Tester Tom jetzt rund eine Woche Erfahrungen im Alltag mit dem Gerät gesammelt. Die neue Konsole hat einiges zu bieten, die «Nintendo Switch» ist ein Zwitter und kann einerseits zu Hause am TV im mitgelieferten Dock benutzt werden oder aber als mobiles Gerät mit zwei abnehmbaren Kontrollern, den Joy Cons. Im Akku-Betrieb hält die Konsole zwei bis sechs Stunden durch, je nachdem wie viel Rechenpower das Spiel benötigt. Dank USB-C Anschluss kann man die Spieldauer zum Beispiel mit einem Batterie-Pack um einige Stunden verlängern. Zum neuen Online Netzwerk von Nintendo gibt es noch nicht viel zu sagen, weil es schlicht noch nicht funktioniert, zum Glück gibt es neben dem besten Spiel aller Zeiten «The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild» noch einige Spiele mehr zum Launch, in dieser Folge #226 besprechen wir die Spielesammlung «1-2 Switch» mit 28 Minigames und das Rennspiel «Fast RMX». Am 3. März 2017 erschien Nintendos Switch weltweit - die Gamerster.tv-Crew erinnert sich noch an graue Videospielurzeiten, als zum Beispiel das NES über drei Jahre später in Europa erschien als das japanische Ur-Famicom. Handheld oder Heimkonsole? Beides! Doch zurück in die Zukunft und Gegenwart. Nintendos Switch ist eine Hybrid-Konsole - von Anbeginn konzipiert darauf eine Heimkonsole und Handheld-Gerät in einem zu sein, dies ist schon revolutionär. In Anbetracht an die heutige Spielergewohnheiten jedoch logisch und konsequent. Das Grundgerät kommt (sofern man kein Bundle kauft) ohne Spiel daher. Im Grundpreis von ca. 350.- ist folgender Inhalt enthalten: Konsole Switch-Station 2x Joy Con (links und rechts) Joy-Con-Halterung (ohne Aufladefunktion) Nintendo-Switch-Netzteil HDMI-Kabel Handgelenkschlaufen (mit Buttons) Was steckt in der Konsole? Über die Hardware wurde viel spekuliert, hier sind die Gamester.tv-Fakten. Custom Nvidia Tegra Chip 4GB Memory Display (720p, Multitouch, Batterielaufzeit 2-6h, USB-C Anschluss zum Laden (unten)). Damit ist nun auch offiziell klar, gegen die aktuellen (Top)Konsolen der Konkurrenz - PS4 (Pro) und Xbox One (S) - kann Nintendos neuste Konsole nicht mithalten - sofern man diese als Heimkonsole wertet. Im Handheldsektor hingegen ist die Switch die klare Nummer 1. Der Ladeanschluss unten macht Sinn wegen der Dock-in-Station - für unterwegs ist diese Option jedoch ungeeignet - gleichzeitiges Laden und Gamen ist so kaum möglich - ein weiterer Anschluss seitlich hätte Wunder bewirkt, war aber wohl im Endeffekt zu teuer im Gesamtkontext. Die Dock-in-Station hat keine technischen Zusatzchips, sondern ist eine Plastikhülle mit HDMI-Out, einen Stromanschluss und drei USB-Anschlüsse (einer davon 3.0). Hinter der Klappe lassen sich die Kabel durchziehen. Das Hauptstück ist der Konnektor. Hier setzt Ihr Eure Switch-Konsole ein und schon könnt Ihr nach kürzester Wartezeit auf dem TV zocken - das klappt einwandfrei. Von Joy Cons bis Pro Controller Bei den Controllern hat Nintendo hingegen - wie so oft - wieder richtig viel Innovationen eingebaut. Die zwei kleinen, jedoch auch für erwachsene Hände gut bespielbaren Joy Cons haben es in sich. In Ihnen steckt ein richtig cooler HD-Rumble Motor, der sich auf der ganzen Controller-Oberfläche verteilen kann. Ebenso ist Motion-Control eingebaut, es braucht keine Sensoren mehr und der Analogstick, die vier Front-Buttons (anstatt Steuerkreuz) und zwei Schulterbuttons haben guten Druck. Als wichtigstes Zubehör gehört der Pro Controller in jeden Pro-Gamer Switch-Haushalt. Dieser kostet knapp 80.-. Dabei hat er sehr wertige Buttons, ist relativ schwer und griffig, die Akkudauer ist mit über 40 Stunden Spielzeit rekordverdächtig hoch! In unserem XXL-Switch-Bericht nehmen wir zwei Starttitel genauer unter die Testlupe, namentlich «1-2-Switch» und «The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild». Während das Erste unserer Meinung nach fast schon zwingend der Konsole hätte beiliegen müssen (da die 28 Minigames sehr anschaulich die Fähigkeiten der JoyCons aufzeigen und ein kurzer, jedoch sehr kurzweiliger und witziger Partyspass darstellen) ist das zweite Game - «Zelda» - der klare Systemseller. Zwar gibt es Links neustes Abenteuer auf der Wii U (technisch minimal schwächer), doch der Pluspunkt, dass das hervorragende Spiel auch unterwegs gezockt werden kann, ist hier ausschlaggebend. «The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild» ist ein spielerischer Meilenstein in der Seriengeschichte. Nicht nur, weil es den Spieler ernst nimmt, sondern auch, weil es in vielen Facetten komplett anders aufgebaut ist als herkömmliche «Zelda»-Spiele, der Kern jedoch unverkennbar bleibt. (raf)
