What if you could manifest faster and with ease—by using a tool that shifts your energy and removes hidden blocks? In this episode, I sit down with Elaine Leek, an energy healer and facilitator of Regenerating Images in Memory (RIM), a transformative modality I've personally experienced for over two years. We spill the tea on the connection between energy work, chakras, and the art of manifesting your dreams. Here's what we dive into: The difference between “doing” and “being” in the manifestation process—and why it's a game changer. How energy blocks (like self-doubt or limiting beliefs) can keep your manifestations stuck in “almost there” mode. A behind-the-scenes look at RIM, a subconscious reprogramming technique originally designed for PTSD. My personal journey from feeling stuck to manifesting big results with Elaine's guidance. You'll also learn how to deepen your connection with yourself, strengthen your sense of trust, and accelerate your results—all while letting go of unnecessary effort. Ready to shift your energy and unlock your next level? Tune in to discover how aligning your inner world can transform your outer reality. Traditionally two-thirds of unpaid family caregivers have been women, but that is changing. Men now account for more than 40% of those caring for a spouse or aging parent with dementia. Former Wisconsin Governor Martin Schreiber talks with host Meryl Comer about his caregiving journey. Schreiber recounts his wife by his side during 16 years in public service, but his decade plus journey as her caregiver provides insight that he shares in his book, My Two Elaines: Learning, Coping, and Surviving as an Alzheimer's Caregiver. Schreiber discusses how to handle the challenges faced by male caregivers when it comes to managing intimate tasks of daily living and shares personal anecdotes. When asked how he endured, he replied “I remember the good times.” You won't want to miss this episode!Support the Show.
All Home Care Matters was honored to welcome the former Governor of Wisconsin & Author of "My Two Elaines: Learning, Coping, and Surviving as an Alzheimer's Caregiver" Martin J. Schreiber as guest to the show. Former Wisconsin Gov. Martin J. Schreiber is an award-winning crusader for Alzheimer's caregivers and persons with dementia. Reaching audiences nationwide at live events and through various forms of media, Marty uses humor and compassion as he shares lessons from his ongoing, decade-plus journey as caregiver. His speaking tour takes him to conferences, civic organizations, senior communities, libraries and more around the country. He has given more than 300 presentations since launching his awareness campaign in late 2016. Whether in Texas, Idaho, New York, Missouri, Florida, Ohio or closer to home, caregivers tell Marty that his message gives them encouragement and hope that they can manage their challenging situation. Marty's book, My Two Elaines: Learning, Coping, and Surviving as an Alzheimer's Caregiver, is winning acclaim from caregivers across the country. It was rated as the No. 11 “Best Alzheimer's Book of All Time” by bookauthority.org, and was named to Caring.com's list of “Best Caregiving Books” of both 2017 and 2018. Now in its fourth print edition, My Two Elaines also has been released as an e-book, an audiobook and on CD. Net proceeds are used to promote Alzheimer's caregiver support. Prior to writing My Two Elaines – and while still caring for his wife at home – Marty helped the Alzheimer's Association launch Operation: Stronger Together in 2015. This multi-year awareness program has helped the Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter connect record numbers of families to education and resources that are vital to successful caregiving. He also collaborated with Wisconsin state government and various business groups to help create the online Dementia-Friendly Employers Toolkit, which is now used by human resources departments and employee assistance programs. These initiatives have led to Marty being recognized with awards from the Alzheimer's Association and other organizations. Marty's work on behalf of older citizens goes back decades to his 16 years in public service as a state senator, lieutenant governor and governor focusing on elderly concerns, improved quality of nursing home care, and development of the in-home Community Care Organization. He went on to become a successful insurance executive and publisher before starting his own government relations firm in 1988. He attended Valparaiso University in Indiana and the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, and earned a doctorate of law from Marquette University in Milwaukee. Marty and his wife Elaine, who died in 2022, are the parents of four children, Kathryn Lyon, Martin Schreiber, Kristine Haas and Matt Schreiber. They have thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

For the third and final time this week, we are focusing on Alzheimer's. This is an archival interview from 2017 I recorded with former Wisconsin governor Martin Schreiber, talking about his memoir "My Two Elaines: Learning, Coping and Surviving as an Alzheimer's Caregiver." The book chronicles what it was like for Schreiber to care for his beloved wife Elaine as she slowly succumbed to the ravages of Alzheimer's Disease. (She died earlier this year.)

In today's episode, Copper Director of Communications, Alex Hudgens, sits down with author, speaker, former Wisconsin Governor and Senator– Marty Schreiber! He explains how Alzheimer's isn't a ‘chicken casserole disease' and how not only the patient, but also the caregivers, need loving and specific support as they navigate this often lonely, difficult journey. Marty discusses the idea of ‘therapeutic fibbing' and how family and friends can learn to enter in and adapt to the new world of a loved one battling Alzheimer's. In this weeks episode of Master My Garden podcast John chats to world renowned microbiologist Dr.Elaine Ingham who has been one of the leading voices in soil health for 4 decades. What is going on in the soil is something that we all need to understand more and become in tune with, because a healthy soil has amazing benefits for the plants which grow within and also the foods that we consume from such soils. These benefits include all the obvious things like healthier plants, higher yield, better tasting food etc. But it is the deeper benefits that are truly fascinating when plants are grown in healthy soil there is an advanced communication system that starts to develop between the plants and all the soil micro organisms. This communication system which Dr.Elaine refers to as the soil food web consists of bacteria, fungi, nematodes, worms and many more soil organisms. When the soil and communication system is fully healthy lots of amazing things happen. Plants request the exact nutrients they require and the micro organisms release the correct amount of the correct nutrient.Weeds are almost non existent Plants cells are really tough and durable and so more resistant to drought, pests, diseases and any other stresses. Carbon gets stored in the soil and roots of plantsIt is a wonderful world under the soil one which we all need to get to understand a little better because understanding and treating the soil correctly just might be the cure for so many of the worlds issues right now. Men förspel? Räcker det med att skicka ”ligga?”-sms? ? The gang discusses two papers that use the pelvis and spine material from pterosaur fossils to infer locomotion of these extinct flying archosaurs, Specifically, we talk about how muscle attachment structures as well as channels within the bones can be used to infer the mobility of ancient animals. Also, Amanda tries to resist talking about food, James makes boner jokes, and Curt ends up writing odd crossover fan-fiction. Up-Goer Five (James “Oh God I Need an Adult” Edition): The group look at two papers that are studying the dead animals that can fly but do not have anything covering their bodies. The first paper looks at how the part of the flying animal with nothing on their bodies that holds the legs and also where animals have to touch to make babies (here after: the fuck box) is different in different animals. The paper shows that the fuck box looks different in baby animals to grown animals, and that we need to recognize babies so that we don't make bad ideas about how these animals changed through time. They also show that the fuck boxes in the earliest of these animals look a little more like the fuck boxes of babies, but that they are very definitely actually over 18. They also show that there are at least two different types of fuck boxes in these animals, and this means that these animals would have walked in different ways to each other. The other paper looks at the fuck box and back of a small animal that could fly that is not covered in stuff and looks at the spaces in it to see how the bits that make the animal go looked like. The spaces for the bits that make the animal go show that it had big legs, and probably was good at walking, even though it was small and would not have needed to be good at walking. It has family that got very big though, and it seems that these big family friends would have been good at walking too. References: Hyder, Elaine S., Mark P. Witton, and David M. Martill. Hello, everyone! Thank you for visiting another episode of 21st Century Hannah! I appreciate your taking the time to listen in once again. Thank you to my repeat listeners. And if you are listening for the first time, I hope you will come back for another visit! Remember to tell your friends about the show, and feel free to share to your social media followers! I would appreciate that! So I was watching a TV show the other night, and in one of the story lines, the couple was having fertility problems. They decided to visit a new doctor for alternative help in getting pregnant. The doctor asked the woman to have labs done. He then turned to the husband and advised him he would have to provide a semen sample. The husband’s response: ‘why?’ Do I need to say how imperative it will be to have men on board? They must be included in the conversation to help bring and contribute to the issues of the childless not by choice dynamic globally. Men are typically heads of households around the world, and they must realize many things. They must be aware of the fact that proper nutrition is important, that childlessness is not always the woman’s ‘fault’, and that there is no shame in going to the doctor as a couple. I know this will be easier said than done in many cultures. Even the so-called Western countries. Remember that TV show I mentioned earlier? That is an up to date television show that airs here in the United States. I will not pretend to understand the things men have to deal with when interacting with each other and with the world. It must be so difficult sometimes to maneuver the male ego, the interaction with friends, especially those who have children. Men may indeed have the same issues of not producing as women do, but maybe in a slightly different way. Any men out there who are childless not by choice, any male fertility MD’s? Men, you are an integral part, not only physically, but emotionally. Podcast episode—Thank you’s, Shout Outs, and Happy Two-year Anniversary 21st Century Hannah! As I have mentioned in recent episodes, my one year podcasting anniversary was this past July 2016. But my platform 21st Century Hannah is two years old this month, the week before USA Thanksgiving, to be exact. During the last two years, I’ve learned first-hand how to build something from scratch without a clue as to how and what I was doing. I learned by trial and error, never fearing letting go of something that did not work. It wasn’t anything personal, but I was and am, on a mission. It’s a passion. I want this platform to be successful. I am passionate about creating the conversation that is needed to free childless not by choice women and men around the world, from an invisible prison. That prison is negative comments from friends, family, and strangers. That prison is negative thoughts, fear, shame, and sadness. These internal and external attacks attempt to block us from living our best most joyful lives. We cannot allow that! I know there will be those who just will not understand the vision. And that’s OK, but that will not stop me. For those who understand, thank you! And it looks like the vision has attracted a beautiful group of women who have come alongside me, mostly virtually. Ah, the power of the internet and social media. I receive articles, my social media content gets re-shared, and I receive words of encouragement, constantly from these women. So, I want to give them a shout out: Freda H. of The Slim Goodies Foundation, for always re-sharing my content on Facebook. I mean always. You are awesome Freda, and I truly appreciate the re-shares. You understand the platform, even though you are not childless not by choice. When someone can help promote a platform to which they are not a demographic, that means they ‘get it’. And to me, that’s special! Next, I would like to give a shout out to Mimi! Mimi is also a mom. We attend the same church, and every time I see her, she tells me about the most recent episode she’s listened to. Mimi, that is a word of encouragement, and I thank you! I would also like to give a shout out to Emily M. Yet another mom. Emily has been sending me words of encouragement for quite some time. In fact, here is an excerpt from a message she sent me a few months ago. Wow, time flies. But here it is: “…I immediately thought of the unique work you have been doing and how that must be a struggle some days but who else to do it? It's a special calling and must be just for you which to me is the highest order of blessing one gets… You carry people and inspire and learn and grow…every day of the week, and you are always so positive and uplifting. You remain open to difference, tolerant, compassionate, and try to be non-judgmental all the while knowing that living in Grace is THE biggest testament to who you are. “ --Emily M.—04/29/2016 All I can say is I can only try to live up to all of that! All I can see are my flaws and the fact that there is a lot I do not know. In fact, some days I wonder what in the world I am doing. I took such a huge risk two years ago, and I know that if I fail, I would at least have tried. I would have tried to create this safe place where childless not by choice women and men from around the world, could stop by for a time of refreshing, like when you stop by a well for fresh water; or a friend’s house for a cup of coffee. And I thanked Elaine S. on my last show. She sends me magazine and newspaper articles on childless not by choice issues around the world. Because many of those articles are stories from outside the U.S., I get to read and hear about these issues from a different perspective. It is a great reminder to all of us, that this is a global issue. Thanks again Elaine! Well! Two years! Time flies when you’re having fun right?! This creating awareness to and for the childless not by choice community on a global level, may sound simple enough. I mean I just put on some headphones and hit record, right? Well, not exactly. Aside from the fact that this platform is built on the premise that the conversation about childlessness will be had. The conversation can be different depending on where in the world the listener lives. Some listeners are daily living under threat just because they do not have any children. While some of us deal with it more on an internal issue, feeling shame, and hearing a snide remark occasionally. The fact is, in either case, childlessness not by choice is a heart issue. It has taken two years to build a platform I naively thought would see an instant mass of arrival of women who have needed this space. But alas, everything has happened as it should. I have had time to learn about myself, which means my heart will be more receptive to every type of listener and supporter, not just the childless not by choice person. I always say that God has a sense of humor. He sent mothers as well as childless women to come alongside me. Wow! I am humbled and honored! Awareness is truly being created, and globally, as some of the women mentioned live in other countries. Thanks again ladies! If you want to write in or call in like these ladies did, and do, don’t be shy. Remember, I went through pretty much what you are going through: mentally, physically, and emotionally. Does the platform have a long way to go? Yes, no, maybe; who knows? But I know this: 21st Century Hannah is my life’s work, my mission. And when will I know it is successful? When the following happens: When childless not by choice is discussed openly instead of whispered about. When a woman will not be judged if she opts not to go to a baby shower. When a woman in a third world country will not live in fear and at risk because she has no children. When a professional woman running for office is not told she is not a good fit because she is not a mother! When we will not be judged by strangers who do not even know our story. When we can talk about and discuss the issues of childless not by choice openly, instead of in gossipy secrecy. That is when WE, all of us, will know the platform is successful. Not a moment before. So how exactly can you participate you ask? Why I am glad you asked! Leave me a review on iTunes, and while you are there, subscribe to the show so you get it automatically in your inbox twice per month. You may also subscribe to the free monthly newsletter by simply visiting my websites, civillamorgan.com or www.childlessnotbychoice.net. And when you visit the www.childlessnotbychoice.net site, there is a printable pdf list of daily affirmations available to anyone. I am so excited about that new addition to the site, because I love freebies. Who doesn’t? And like everything I do, it was created with excellence. I worked on that list for quite some time! Affirmations are typically personalized, so I wanted it to be helpful to everyone who reads it. If you would like your own personalized list, DM me on Facebook or Twitter, we will schedule a 15-minute conversation, and I will create your affirmations based on that conversation. All for just $25.00 U.S., pre-paid. Other ways to stay in contact with me and with the platform, include joining my Facebook groups and pages. Two of the groups are for childless not by choice women only, but the other groups and pages are open to anyone interested in the platform. If you have trouble finding the groups when you go to Facebook, there is a link directly from the Home page of the childlessnotbychoice.net website to the Closed group. If you want to join the Private group, DM on Facebook or Twitter, and I will add you. My podcast producer/web builder and I, are always thinking of ways to make things easily navigable for visitors. Finally, we have added a donate button on both websites, civillamorgan.com and on www.childlessnotbychoice.net. Your donations will go toward maintenance of the podcast including paying for production, buying equipment such as microphones and adapters, and upgrades in automated systems. So definitely toward a worthy cause as I continue to enhance the quality and reach of the platform. The funds will also go toward changes and upgrades on the website, and to help me create the free and paid courses I am currently working on for our community. These courses cost money to create, and I still want to be able to offer free courses as well as fee courses. So, I appreciate all donations! Finally, finally, all my contact information is below. If you want to leave me a 90 second or less voicemail, click the speak pipe icon on the right side of the childlessnotbychoice.net site. Thanks again to the ladies I mentioned above, and thank you to everyone who has been a part of the platform since day one. You know who you are! I thank God for putting you all in my path!
