Unseren Gast diese Woche erreichen wir auf knapp über 2.000m Höhe im südafrikanischen Dullstrom: Mareike Dottschadis. Mari ist Mental Coach und ambitionierte Läuferin und befindet sich dort in den Endzügen ihres Höhentrainingslagers. Läuferin war sie nicht immer, sondern entdeckte diese Leidenschaft erst vergleichsweise spät und nicht zuletzt durch eine verlorene Wette. Während Laufen davor hauptsächlich dazu diente den Kopf freizubekommen, sollte sich das im Anschluss ändern. Sie fand eine erste Trainingsgruppe und Coach und stürzte sich kopfüber in das Abenteuer Leistungssport. Von da an probierte sie alles aus - von Halle, über Cross und Bahn zu Straßenlauf bis Marathon. Obwohl das Laufen für sie „nur“ Hobby war, nahm es schnell eine große Rolle ein in ihrem Leben und sollte auch ihre Berufsentscheidung maßgeblich mit beeinflussen. Sie entschied sich Sportpsychologie zu studieren mit dem Ziel ihre Leidenschaft für die Welt des Sports mit dem Wunsch anderen helfen zu können ihre Ziele zu erreichen, zu verbinden. Heute arbeitet sie am OSP Brandenburg und freiberuflich daran Menschen dabei zu unterstützen ihre Ressourcen zu aktivieren, Selbstvertrauen aufzubauen und mit Stress & Druck produktiv umzugehen zu lernen. Wir sprechen mit ihr über Mentaltraining, mehr Freiheit in Trainings- und Wettkampfplanung, gesunden Egoismus und einiges mehr.

Die Turtles sind zurück In den 90er Jahren waren die Turtles eines der Popkultur Phänomene. Filme, Serien, Shirts, Musik, alles am Start, da durften auch klasse Games von Konami nicht fehlen. Turtles IV, Turtles in Time auf Super Nintendo war ein absoluter Klassiker. Knapp 30 Jahre später gibt es nun mit Shredders Revenge ein absolutes Fest für Fans. Batgirl ist NICHT zurück Neben der Serie Batwoman, sollte es auch einen DC Film Batgirl geben. Die 90 Millionen Dollar HBO Max Produktion ist nun fertig und bekommt ein „direct to trash“ Release. Der Film wird so wie er ist weggeworfen. Aber natürlich nicht, weil er so schlecht ist, sondern weil er nicht mehr „in die Ausrichtung des Konzerns passt“. Die Wikinger Zeit war rauh! Vom Macher der Filme The Witch und der Leuchtturm bringt einen neuen düsteren, spannenden Thriller mit The Northman. Ein Racheepos, mit tollen Landschaften und düsterer Stimmung. Muss DC einen Film beerdigen Nein, nicht zwei mal das gleiche Thema. Batgirl ist ja schon beerdigt, das gleiche kann aber eventuell auch „The Flash“ Drohen. Der 200 Millionen Dollar Film mit Ezra Miller in der Hauptrolle scheitert eventuell in den Endzügen der Produktion genau am Hauptdarsteller. Es gibt einfach so viele Vorwürfe gegen ihn, dass es langsam immer schwerer wird ihn zu halten. Für den Aufbau des DC Universums wäre das natürlich schwierig, da er ja neben seinem eigenen Film auch in Justice League auftritt. Roger Reckless – Melanin Der Rapper aus München setzt sich weiterhin mit den Themen Rassismus auseinander. Im neuen Album sind einige harte, hintergründige Tracks am Start. Neuigkeiten aus de Welt der AR Brillen Leider gab es schon lange Zeit keinen großen Fortschritt mehr in dem Bereich. Keine Brille hat es geschafft uns endlich mal dieses „wow, die will ich haben“ Gefühl zu geben, geschweige denn, dass es eine zu kaufen geben würde, die man im Alltag nutzen kann. Genau so eine Brille kommt nun vielleicht von Xiaomi, aber leider erst mal nicht in Deutschland. Mit 50 Megapixel Kamera, eigenem Prozessor und Display hat sie alles, was man sich wünscht. Mit umgerechnet 365€ ist sie erschwinglich. Aber vermutlich ist das jetzt aktuell nicht mehr als ein Grund zu hoffen, dass wir sowas auch mal bekommen. Die wird es wohl nicht sein. Möge die Macht mit Disney sein Mit Spannung wurde die neue Serie mit Ewan McGregor als ObiWan erwartet. Mit 6 Episoden leider sehr kurz, aber die haben es in sich. Auf jeden Fall ansehen! Wird Disney+ teurer? Und wenn wir schon dabei sind und ihr Disney+ testen wollt, dann beeilt euch, denn in den USA sind die Preise für die Version ohne Werbung nun auf 10,99$ gestiegen. Mit Werbung kostet es weiterhin 7,99$ Ah, wieder ein neues 3D Audio Format Qobuz, ein weiterer Player im Streamingmarkt, bringt nun auch einen 3D Audio Standard auf den Markt: THX Spatial Audio. The Endz is a production mounted by school children in South London, supported by the Multi Story Orchestra, a radical performance group well-known in the industry for mounting live performances in a former multi story car park (now known as Bold Tendencies) in Peckham. Since its Proms appearances in 2016 and 2017, the team behind the orchestra led by Kate Whitely has sought out new ways to enhance cultural experiences for the community its made its home in. But Multi Story's vision and method feel slightly different from convention when you hear from two of their teenage collaborators Flame and Prince talk about The Endz – a musical setting of a play a group of teenagers created themselves in response to violent crime in their neighbourhood. The word is collaboration rather than education and outreach. Co-creation too might be a good word. And the other thing that's important to stress is how Multi Story are helping young creative talent make the music they want to make rather than what the orchestra thinks they ought to be making.

Immigration and Public Space No justification for limiting access to public spaces, as long as they are not interfering with the intended use of those spaces by others Hoppean immigration theory – invitation only Ownership of roads doesn't matter; road owners can't prevent an invitee from visiting Taxpayer funded welfare complicates the situation Hoppe, the consummate democrat?
