On this episode we have Joel Suggs, a PGA Master Teaching Professional with decades of experience helping golfers of all levels understand their own games. Joel is the author of Golf Success Before Every Round, which was the number one new release in golf coaching on Amazon when it came out. By the end of this episode, you'll learn why golfers already have the right answers for their game — and how to draw those out using facts instead of tips. You'll discover the three stats that cause virtually all big scores in golf, why analyzing batches of shots beats obsessing over individual ones, and what your tap-in count is actually telling you about your putting. Joel is a unique and interesting guy so I'm confident you'll learn some new perspectives from this one. It's that time of year. You've been working hard on your game all offseason, grinding on your swing, getting things dialed, and now it's almost time (or is already time) to get outside and play. But what typically happens when you do that? If you're like me, everything you worked on all winter can seem to go right out the window when you touch real grass. That terrible feeling of all that practice not even doing any good. Well I propose a better way. This episode is all about how to ready your game for getting outdoors and playing golf, not golf swing. ----- Mentioned in this episode:

Antje Heimsoeth Podcast - Erfolg I Motivation I Leadership I Mentale Stärke im Verkauf

Why perfectionism slows progress, what's really happening in your brain and body, and how to break the loop — on and off your mountain bike. In this episode, I dive into one of the biggest hidden blockers in adult MTB learning: perfectionism. If you've ever caught yourself thinking, “I should be better by now,” or you get frustrated when a skill doesn't click instantly — this episode is for you. We'll explore why perfectionism isn't just about “high standards” but a protective mechanism of your brain, what happens physiologically when you tense up and over-focus on mistakes, and — most importantly — how to shift out of that loop and back into learning flow. You'll walk away with concrete, science-backed tools to calm your nervous system, rewire your brain for real progress, and finally enjoy the process — instead of chasing “perfect.”
