Piccadilly Un:Plugged is curated by New Public and a part of Art after Dark commissioned by Art of London , an immersive creative journey and ecofeminist experience by Nelly Ben Hayoun- Stépanian across London's West End for Art After Dark on 6th, 7th and 8th March 2025. This installatio is in loving memory of Láwû Makuriye'nt (aka EOBIONT, Mango, half of Mirrored fatality) Moonbounce or Earth-Moon-Earth (EME) is a technology that allows sending radio signals from one location to another location on Earth, using the Moon as a natural satellite. It is like DJing with the Moon, the audio signal goes about 3 meter inside the crust of the moon before travelling back to earth picking up the Big Bang static on the way- which gives it this distorted audio, alien and eerie. Included in this playlist: the heartbeats of women in Nelly Ben Hayoun-Stépanian's Armenian family for International Women's Day; recordings from the city's streets and institutions produced by multi-instrumentalist Ayse Hassan (of Savages and Esya); and a series of original tracks from Nelly and the University of the Underground's long term collaborators: Massive Attack, The Avalanches (feat. Blood Orange), Pussy Riot, Mirrored Fatality and Moses Boyd. Additionally. newly produced track in collaboration with the late noise artist EOBIONT (Láwû Makuriye'nt), who tragically passed away this week features the heartbeats of Ben Hayoun-Stépanian's Armenian family. With special thanks to the team at Jodrell Bank Observatory for their support in making this technological feat happen.

Piše Iztok Ilich, bereta Renato Horvat in Višnja Fičor. En avtor, dve knjigi, bela in črna, z enakim naslovom, obe vseskozi prepleteni, a hkrati vsaka s svojo pripovedno optiko in tehniko!

Diddy. R. Kelly. Bill Cosby. Our greats have fallen from grace and we have had a front row seat to their demise. While redemption may not be possible for the above mentioned, it may be for defendants in the YSL Trial. Looking at the interrogation interviews, some of the defendants were teenagers making foolish decisions. Is redemption possible? Maybe. In this episode, you will hear me discuss how being POME may have played a role in their decision-making and whether they deserve a second chance at a different life.

With the whole CV team back together again we thought about doing an earnest and serious conversation about apple and pear varieties. But with all the sport on we changed our mind and turned it into a knockout tournament to discover the greatest (British) cider apple or perry pear of them all. Pitting 32 contenders against each other, Adam tasks Justin and Albert with finding the ultimate. Thorn vs Bulmers Norman? Egremont Russet vs Yellow Huffcap? Moorcroft vs Kingston Black? Stoke Red vs Butt? Which will be left standing at the end? Get ready for an extreme fund of sporting metaphors: What are the Gareth Southgate and Andy Murray of perry pears? Who is the Joe Root of Cider Voice? Which matchup is like Hamilton winning Silverstone for the 9th time? And which round do our judges just want to dispense with? Featuring Justin's pomological insights like ‘Coppy sounds a bit like cuppy' and Albert's true feelings on Bisquet, the biggest question of all is will the final go to penalties? Want to know the greatest apple or pear? You'll have to listen. Shoutout to Swedish cidermaker Hjulsjö 103 Albert's the midfield general @rosscider @adamhwells has a vicious backhand @cider_review Justin's dug in @justinwellsjustin
Nato naredimo jamico in v njo damo 2 – 2,5 dag kvasa z malo sladkorja in mlačnega mleka. Pomešamo in pustimo vzhajati. Nato začnemo gnesti in počasi prilivamo vodo, olivno olje ali malo topljene smetane. Naredimo srednje mehko testo in ga damo počivati.

We had a bit of rain this week… and a huge amount of wind as well. It really showed me I had underestimated the ripeness of my “Sanguine Peaches”, a variety that never fails to perform here in Christchurch. An acquired taste: very sweet and spicey; The name originates from Sanguine de Savoie, meaning “the blood of savoy”. Another favourite tree fruit is the apple “Initial”; perfectly crisp and not too sweet; the great thing about “Initial” is that it seems to be quite resistant to all sorts of diseases, so… easy to grow in an organic garden. Pome fruit (apples) are best pruned in wintertime, when the tree is dormant. They require good eyesight, as you'll need to be careful leaving the fruiting spurs so that the tree has some fruit to set next season. Watch the shape and size of those spurs when you harvest the fruit, so you know what to look for during winter pruning. One apple I always “wait” for is the late ripening “Monty's Surprise”; An old apple variety, discovered a few decades ago It has several wonderful advantages: It's relatively resistant to diseases and pests – I've noticed little evidence of black spot and such pathogens In the earlier part of the season (late March, early April) Monty's surprise is a tangy cooking apple – the fruit are large… some get too “huge”; Mid-April onwards, when the fruit ripens further, it becomes an eating apple. Tastes great! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Think of THE CHRONICLES: Part II as a 2-part episode embedded within the second half of The Chronicles, like appetizers before the main course or, using a more apropos food analogy, a “Turducken” of Metal if you will. For starters, it's back to 1983 for a tasting of early metal compiled by Brian Slagel and Metal Blade Records for METAL MASSACRE III including (and of utmost importance) Slayer, as well as a veritable plethora of other bands who gave us a glimpse of the future of 80's metal that was yet to be born. Then for the main course, we indulged in a generous cornucopia of 80's HAIR METAL music videos that we enjoyed as youngsters coming of age during the bygone days of yore when Music Television was still a new concept and five bucks in quarters bought an entire day of bliss at the video arcade. Prepare to embrace 80's metal Zen through enlightened states of twanglification, be sure to keep your “Fast Times” and “Karate Kid” cast members straight, and then “touch hands” and start “motoring” because it's time to get “sideways” and give thanks as you JOIN US for a heavy metal double header on this, the exciting conclusion of our trip through THE CHRONICLES. EPISODE 8 - December 2021 (Marcel Veens) Bayer HortCast Episode 8 is hosted by Craig White -Market Development Agronomist at Bayer Australia and he discusses the current state of play in the stone and pome fruit industries with award winning Horticultural Adviser Marcel Veens and Bayer Market Development Agronomist Troy Mulcahy. In this episode we discuss how RimPro disease and insect prediction model can be useful to assist growers and advisers to optimise use of chemistry such as Vayego® Insecticide in protecting stone fruit, pome fruit, almonds and macadamias from pests like light brown apple moth, codling moth, various weevils, and carpophilus beetles (depending on crop type) to name a few. Club apple varieties and emerging technologies are discussed in some detail, including the role of robots and drones for managing pests and diseases and manual tasks in orchards, as well as re-invigorating interest from young people to pursue a career in horticulture. High Density planting and orchard block management configurations, with multiple leaders (~10,000 per ha) are very important in achieving high efficiency from emerging technology. Consumer experience is very important as well as packaging innovation developments to drive consumption of healthier options like apples, and this has been seen in Europe, but not as much in Australia. We explore Why is this so. If you have any ideas, get in touch and let us know? Really, this episode needed to be named, “I didn’t run for the hills, but I should’ve.” Or maybe, “I was a crafting goblin in a crafting bunker,” or maybe, just MAYBE, “literal blood, sweat and tears.” If you can’t tell, we had the hilarious Kitiya Palaskas join us for today’s episode, and we’re pretty sure you could hear a collective gasp for the entire length of Kitiya’s story. So yeah, she’s got some good stuff. If you’ve ever thought, “I wonder if someone else has made these same mistakes?” or, “I CANNOT be the only one to have ever experienced this, right?” the answer is yes. And just in case you don’t believe us, we’ll prove it to you in today’s episode. Grab your cocktail (today’s is masterfully called Don’t Take Me for Pome-granted), plop down in a comfy chair, and listen in. We still want your crazy, meaningful, heartfelt and educational stories. Even if you’re just wanting some advice, send your questions our way as well - we’d love to help. Submit your stories and questions at perourlastemail.com, and we’ll do our best to read them as ridiculously as possible. During this episode she opens up and shares a bit about her journey that led her to these monumental moments. Im addition to how she discovered her purpose, and what else she has in store for the future.
