So NOW!! here is the full interview in Stereo as it should have been. In this episode we sit down with Trash film aficionado, Film Maker and One Hell of a nice guy, Andrew Leavold to discuss his documentary film, The Search for Weng Weng. A Filipino adventure to discover the real name and life of The 2' 9" action star. Music for this episode : The Weng Weng Rap by the CHUDS. Allison Kaplan Sommer, Don Futterman, Sally Abed and Noah Efron discuss two topics of incomparable importance and end with an anecdote about something in Israel that made them smile this week. Hear the Extra-Special, Special Extra Segment on Patreon —“F*cked Up, Horrible Chickens”— Rockets and missiles from the south and mob violence most everywhere else: Why did Israel just dissolve into bloodshed? —“If I Forget Thee, O’ Jerusalem Day”— How do you celebrate the “reunification” of Jerusalem (and how don’t you)? —Will Social Media Be the Death of Me?— For our most unreasonably generous Patreon supporters, in our extra-special, special extra discussion, we talk about the roles played by Twitter, Facebook, Tiktok and Instoosh in our Hobbesian war-of-all-against-all moment. "So Now, What Do I Do?" by Reverend Doctor James T. Murphy, Jr.
It’s a combo episode, people! We’ve got two out of three states in the Tri-State area. (Only Connecticut is missing.) First, we cover Real Housewives of New Jersey, which is getting a little old (or is it just that New York feels shiny and new right now?). Teresa is in love (we don’t say it, but now we SAID it). Dolores doesn’t want a ring (mm-hmm). Jennifer is redecorating her house (ok, that’s kinda new, but still…yawn). It’s Jackie’s birthday, so we’re off to apple picking and wine tasting. Joe Gorga has kidney stones, so Mary fills us in on what is worse — kidney stones or childbirth. Marge is having a photo shoot for her new book that someone else is writing. So NOW on to the really new, new stuff…New York! We start in October 2020, which is somehow eerier in NYC than anywhere else. Leah is converting to Judaism (say WHAT, now?). Neither she nor Luann are drinking (and in their case, we support them). Mary, sweet Mary brands Sonja a “wack-a-doodle,” (she’s right). After all, who else has an intern who needs to learn how to draw a bath and hose off the patio. Ramona and Luann are friends, so hell HAS apparently frozen over. And we meet Eboni, who was on an Oprah track but switched to an ambitious, busy, brilliant, but not-as-rich Oprah track. She seems interesting! Everything is sunshine and roses…THIS week. Of course, we fast forward to see that it only takes an episode or two for things to be back to normal. RHONY normal, that is! Let us know what you think--should we continue with these combo episodes? More NY? Less NY? DM us at @Kikikibbitz on Twitter or @KikiandKibbitz on IG!
In this episode, I talk about having the belief in YOU… You guessed it, I talked about the importance of having Self-Confidence. So what? They told you that you couldn't achieve your goal. The only person that can stop you is YOU. So NOW, when are you going to say that you have had enough and start trusting yourself to be more than you are today.

My hot take on the passing of RBG and what republicans should do now and why. Also the latest attack on Trump over the virus. Support the show at https://www.patreon.com/republickeeper 125 - Ruth Bader Ginsburg - Hot Lava Take and Latest attack on Trump 00:00:00 - 00:05:01 Let's see if this works. Welcome Republic podcast Brian O'Kelly I'll be your host for today's adventure. Rod. Casting from the. Forest. Washington just outside of Seattle. My russian-made, A. MT to nineteen might perform. This podcast number one, twenty, five. And hopefully got audio and. Remember him on twitter facebook. and. So on it's Brian Your Bro at the Republican for Dot Com website for the social media connections and more, and we will treat today like every other day and begin the broadcast by thanking God for good health and the ability to be here, sharing with you and thank you again for your time and attention today. Hopefully, we have audio now happening and I guess it wasn't working there the beginning and so. Awesome thank you for the feedback and appreciate it this you know. If, it wasn't for my sister and my mom I don't know of anybody who would listen but I'm so grateful. That my sister is always up at this time and and and help me some feedback. I should probably start. Pannard every time something's wrong and she's sending me a taxed. It's awesome. So thank you carry very much for that for your help. So today, of course, we have the news that Ruth Bader Ginsburg has passed away and. This is of course. has thrown the entire race into a complete change. I, mean wow. What an overnight. You know shift in the dynamic compared to where we had been where it was all about you know. A million other things, and now all of a sudden it's about the court and not that it wasn't about the court because this was on people's mind and it's not a big surprise that repeater Ginsburg has passed away i. do think that it was somewhat expected that she may that she was going to pass away during trump's next administration. She'd been fighting pancreatic cancer for quite some time so. I wanted to. Reflect back on basically what I'm seeing now that this is all passed and just give you. This is kind of a hot lava take. On Ruth Bader Ginsburg I don't think I'm going to make a lot of friends. With with what I'm going to have to say today. Okay so I'M NOT GONNA BE UNKIND. But I, I don't think this is the take. You're going to be hearing a lot of other places. Okay. So that's the kind of the set up here on a play for you. First the president's reaction when he was told about this. The music is on the on the tarmac there. Well. The I didn't know that I just thought it'd be the first time. She let an amazing. What else could you say? She was an amazing woman whether. Or not she was an amazing woman. An amazing life. Imagine. Thank you very much. Monster. Is just a monster. I mean what a monster? To hear it and he said, she led an amazing life. What kind of a man have we put in the White House here? Anyway. So. So here are kind of. My thoughts and these are scattered. I've got a bunch of email her email of audio here from different people, and this is not in any particular order. Okay. So the first thing is. That there's hypocrisy a plenty. To go around on both sides. Back when it was garland. Pushing through all of the Republicans were saying you can't do it an election year and you have to wait for the voice of the people and the Hashtag. Do Your job was a thing on the Democrat side it was do your job do your job your job, and the Republicans were all saying no, you can't do in an election year and so now here we are we've had it flipped. So it just got trump's reaction here is Vice President Biden's we need to de escalate. Escalate. Try Appeal to those few Senate. Republicans. The handful who really will decide what happens. Please, follow your conscience. Don't vote to confirm anyone nominate the circumstances president trump. Incentive McConnell have created. 00:05:02 - 00:10:08 Don't go there. Uphold your constitutional duty. Your conscience. Let the people speak. Cool the flames engulfing our country. We can't keep rewriting history scrambling norms, ignoring our cherry system of checks and balances. Who'll the flames? Cool, the flames he says. Right, go how about we started calling for that months ago Joe. That includes this whole business of releasing a list of potential nominees. That I would put forward. Now same after a after Ruth Bader. GINSBURG passed away. They said Biden should releases list. It's the one in the trump campaign ads that I released list only after she passed away. A game for them? They were asking. Anger. There were asking. lionsgate other than Donald Trump has ever done such a thing. I. The reason is because no presidential candidate other than Donald Trump. Has Ever thought ahead about it. That's the answer Joe. And then he goes into this thing about the that his. Nominees would be attacked pretty judges name on lists like that could influence that person's decision making as a judge and that would be wrong. At least create the perception influenced. Second. Anyone could enlist. Like that, under these circumstances will be subject to unrelenting political attacks. And he's right about that. That's exactly what's going to start happening now to amy conybeare Barrett. That's the next. The next thing that's going to happen Amy Barrett is president trump's choice apparently for the court. Here's a quick a piece that they did on her over on I. Think this was ABC. And at the top of the list we're told is judge Amy Coney American for name sounds familiar. It's because she was on the shortlist when president trump sought to replace Anthony Kennedy and ultimately settled on. Justice. Now Justice Brett Cavanaugh she is a devout Catholic she's considered a superstar of the religious, right? Shoulder has she is an ardent of abortion opponent and there are even Republicans who think that that can be a complicating factor in her confirmation process if she is nominated because you have those republicans like. Susan Murkowski Lisa Murkowski. Susan. Might not be inclined to vote for her. Also on the list you also have Barbara Lagola. She's an appeals judge on the eleventh circuit of her name sounds familiar to anybody is because she represented Elian Gonzales in his asylum case the decades ago she's connected to Florida's Cuban immigrant community. You also see there. Are He's appeals judge on the sixth circuit, and he's considered to be a favourite of Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell. So we could find out as early as this week who the president ultimately has settled. and. So trump a you know has got I mean. He's considering a Catholic woman, a Hispanic woman and a man from an in with an Indian background. What kind of monster have we put in the White House here? Ministers we ought to be embarrassed that this man is our president, right? Maybe, not so Lindsey Graham. Back in the day and you probably all seen this but I wanNA make sure your included here because it's relevant back in the day Lindsay Graham. said that if? If this happened, we could use his words against him. This will stand the test of time. This is the last year. Of. A lame duck president. And if Ted Cruz. DONALD TRUMP GETS TO BE president they've all asked us not to confirm or take up a selection by president. Obama. So if a vacancy occurs in their last year of their first term, guess what you'll use their words against them. I want you to use my words against me. If there's a Republican president in two, thousand, sixteen in a vacancy occurs and the last year of the first term. You can say Lindsey Graham said, let's let the next president who whoever it might be made that nomination and you could use my words against being. You'd be absolutely right. We're setting a precedent here today Republicans are. That in the last year. At least of a lame duck eight-year term, I would say is going to be a four year term that you're not going to fill a vacancy of the Supreme Court. Based on what we're doing here today, that's going to be the new rule when y'all change the rules about appellate judges and district. Court judges to get your way I thought it was a really abuse of power and what you have done here is you've made the caucuses the Republican Democratic caucuses are now not going to have to reach across the aisle when it comes to pellet judges and District Court judges to get input from us or we get input from you. 00:10:08 - 00:15:01 So what does that mean that we're GonNa pick the most hard asked people we can fi And there somebody in the conference to vote against that person? You're going to have the most Liberal members of your caucus pushing you to pick the most liberal judges because she don't need to reach across the out very input and we'll do the same. So, overtime, the judiciary is GONNA be more ideologically driven because the process in the Senate now does not require you to get outside. Your. Own. Party. Here's exactly right. And now he's GonNa be determined whether or not. He's GonNa play the hypocrite. Now what I'm saying when he said I said he's exactly right is he's right and wrong. I think it was right for. President Obama to nominate for justice. I think given that it was a potential switch parties. At the election, which it always is like right now I think it was appropriate for the Senate to wait. To have a confirmation vote. I think if if they're at this point, it would. Be reasonable for the Senate to wait to have confirmation vote. If we were concerned about being fair. Said this is going to be a hot lava take on this. Fairness is not part of the equation. This is a war. Is Not a small skirmish. CINCINATI. A tiny little thing. This is a war. One. Side knows it's a war and treats it like a war. Our side doesn't seem to know that. Let me give you an example. This is only a few hours old outside Senator Rams. House. then. Is this peaceful protesting. Standing outside someone's house like that, and this is what leftist mobs do. They are intimidation squads. They are here to say if you don't do it our way, we are going to disrupt your life threatening you injure you and maybe even kill some of you. Like the man in Portland. This is war. This is not A. Game. This is war and it's a war for the soul of the country. In the case of the Supreme Court nomination if the Republicans become more concern about some headline about fairness than they are about the fate of the unborn than maybe I should just figure out that I can't even participate in politics because there's no one who represents me. This thing is, is a prime example of how selfish the Democrats are. The Democrats knew. Everybody knew the entire country has known for a decade that Ruth Bader Ginsburg was going to go next in fact when Antonin Scalia died everyone was shocked that he went before her. She was so selfish that she couldn't even retire in the first year of Obama's second term. Or. The second year or the third year in the first year he had Harry Reid as the Senate majority leader dear remember. Harry Reid. was the majority leader. Harry Reid could have gotten anybody through. She was so selfish. That she stayed on. And then they were so arrogant and they had so much hubris. In. The fall of two thousand sixteen, there was no way. DONALD TRUMP WAS GONNA win after all they had their insurance policy. and. So she can stay on until Hillary was in and then Hillary could appoint the next one. Speaking of Hillary. Of course, she had to have something to say on this and and you know what I'm not gonNA play her I don't want to. I'm going to play her husband though here's. Here's good bill. Well. 00:15:03 - 00:20:02 Of course it's. Superficially, hypocritical isn't it? I mean Mitch. McConnell wouldn't. Give President Obama's nominee Mary Gallon a hearing. Ten months before the president's election. and. That meant that we went a long time with judges on the court. This is what they do. I. Think they're. Know both for the senator McConnell and president trump I value is. Power and they're trying to take the court would as many. Ideological judges as they can't. Somehow. When he appointed Ruth Bader Ginsburg, he wasn't trying to appointing idiological. Judge. Been Bill Clinton was absolutely looking for someone who would make sure that the slaughter continued. So this idea that somehow there's something inappropriate about Republicans looking to to pack the court with people who matched their ideology. That's what Bill Clinton did. That's what everybody does is packed. The court with somebody matches their ideology. Right. So you know hangs up for a minute I'll be right back. In a minute or two, we will come back and talk about. Some more of this and a little more of my hot take about the weaponization of the death of Ruth. Bader. GINSBURG. Welcome back to the Republic Uber podcast. Thanks again for your time and tension. Again, my name is Brian O'Kelly I appreciate you joining and if you're watching on youtube twitter facebook whichever. On the Vice Rhonda's probably a subscribe button and there is probably a share button. So. If you right now hit that share button at shirt your feed that would be awesome. That'll bring more people into. Doing and for those are new to the broadcast found us through advertising referral whatever. But you know how this works. This is a listener supported broadcast and what that means is there's no big company behind it June me together. And I do the work in you smart show and what that means is I need you to do three things for me. I make three simple requests I. Think they're simple First one is pray for me. The guy needs a lot of stuff to do this. Right Energy Balance Wisdom insight so on. I also asked the listeners to like I say share the show like I was just asking subscribing share do reviews, and then the third thing is to support the show financially there is a link to Patriae on on the website Patriots Dot, com slash republic keeper, and if you just go there and help support the show five bucks a month is a big difference I just kind of think of it as we're going to grab a cup of coffee. Every morning, five days a week. Would you once a month Miami a cup of coffee for five bucks and if you would. Do me favor visit the site and do that because I I do need the support and it does help and it's also A. Sign that this is valuable to people and I know that that's a small thing, your tension matters. But it helps me know that that I'm on the right track with what I'm doing here. So honored with Ruth Bader Ginsburg now. Back to what I was saying it's we have known for a long time that this woman was gonna pass away right and so the idea of being unprepared. For this event is foolishness. So. I can only hope that when I die at creates much of a cluster for everybody as this has I mean good job for her for Web nizing her own debt. And I mean is. Basically, almost set off a nuclear bomb with her death and. You know I mean I respect the game play. You know. I'd say it. Okay. So Here's what I'm thinking. I know this is crazy. Yeah you think I'm really crazy here on say this actually let's just play. Here's here's speaking of crazy. Let's just crazy nancy kit right back to my crazy idea now from the speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi Speaker Pelosi. Thanks for joining us this morning the morning. You wrote Friday that the passing of Justice Ginsburg is an incalculable loss for our democracy. How do you remember her and how will the house honor? I'm so glad that the country is. Providing section outpouring of love and support to honor with Bater Ginsburg. petites tiny in size huge impact, and powerful brilliant brain on the court. She was so remarkable and I can't help. But thinking the good person that she is as we extend condolences to her family, she want us to keep our eye on the ball of the two hundred thousand people. Who will be a probably this weekend will reach. Reached that number this. Challenge that we have is directly. If the president thinks this isn't about the coronavirus it is. 00:20:02 - 00:25:01 It's about healthcare so that the president is rushing to make some kind of a decision because He November tenth is one the our arguments begin on the affordable care act. He doesn't want to crush the virus he wants to crush the affordable care act. Sodas present was crush the affordable care act. Maybe you just want to be constitutional. I know that's crazy idea for it to be constitutional but I think that's what what the president wants now. That's crazy. Nancy now, Chuck Schumer got up on the stand and also had to share something about. The dying wish apparently of the prior justice congresswoman Alexandria Cossio Cortez, and we are here. Because of Ruth Bader GINSBURG's passing. We are here really for three reasons. To show how unified we are. The Democrats are in trying to make sure. That her legacy is protected. And that's the second reason to honor that legacy. She was an amazing woman. Incredible In a male dominated legal establishment, she pushed away through for brains and strength and fortitude and change the world for women long before. The rest of the world caught up. And when she got to the court, she was able to bring that same equality in strength to so many different people of all different types and kinds. And she was an amazing woman and so the first reason we're here is unity and the second is to honor her legacy. To demand. That her lamb wish we're going to demand filled by the Senate. She said, my most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced by until a new president is installed. We believe that. So did the American people today? A Reuters poll came out and said, sixty, two percent of Americans agree with her. Okay let's Reuters poll said sixty, two percent of Americans while I'm glad that her last her dying wish wasn't that a chimpanzee replace her on the court because then we'd have to do that apparently whatever sick old ladies say on their deathbed is what the United States Senate has now compelled to do. What a bunch of garbage. That's Baloney. The US has one job. Advise and consent the president. K and guess what they withheld their consent. From President Obama on Merrick. Garland. And they may very well withhold their consent from President, trump on his pick. That's up up up to them, right And Senator Collins has said she won't Senator Murkowski said she won't. Probably Senator Romney will say he won't. So the Senate will advise and consent, and maybe they won't give their consent. But this is one of the things. One of the strengths of conservatism is that when we put someone forward from a group, first of all I'm GonNa say this. This is bs that the president is putting has said that he's going to put forth a woman. Is this woman seat now? Is Clarence Thomas seat a black seat. When Clarence Thomas dies or retires. Do. We have to appoint a black man. And if he's a conservative black man, will the Democrats say he's not really black. Because if you're black or you're not a conservative, right. You know when? Soda my are. Retires. Or you know passes on when she's not on the court anymore is the president no matter who it is compelled to pick a Latino woman. We gotTA stop. This. We gotTA. Stop it and president trump is doing it. By saying, he'll put a woman on. Okay and and I don't care if it's a woman or a man. I don't care if they're black white Latino Chinese I could care less. GimMe somebody from. Indonesia. WHO UNDERSTANDS THE LAW? I don't care if it's a little Vietnamese guy or Big Samoan? Woman. Yeah I could care less. I want you understand the constitution? And so president trump is joining in this whole idea that. You know it's got to be a woman because. Our BG was a woman. So now you got to put a woman on the court. That's BS in my view now, Ted Cruz has come out and back. When it was. Time for. Garland go forward. Here's what Ted Cruz had to say it has been eight years since the Supreme Court vacancy was nominated and confirmed in an election year. 00:25:01 - 00:30:08 There's a long tradition that you don't do this in an election year. You don't do an election year. Sorry I got to get a drink a cool water there. She should've filled my water bottle up a little bit more than I did but regardless here I am. and. Maybe on the next break, I'll scoot over and fill that up So Ted Cruz we don't do it an election year right? Well, that's super convenient. When you were the guy who was saying no. But now, Ted Cruz is the guy who's saying yes. As Senator Ted Cruz joins us now good morning senator. Thanks for joining us this morning you and your colleagues are pretty clear back in two thousand sixteen to in an election year. A matter for the people decide is it fair for people to conclude right now that you've changed your tune because the President Republican not a Democrat. Well Georgia I'm happy to talk about that but I but I want to start by budget acknowledging the the extraordinary career Justice Ginsburg. Had she was a a trail blazing advocate? One of the finest Supreme Court litigators to have ever lived she she served for nearly three decades on the court I. I Argued Nine Times before Justice Ginsburg on the court she was brilliant justice she was she was her questions were always incisive. She was a careful lawyer. She's lead a a remarkable legacy and. Heidi. And I are prayers are are with her family who are grieving the loss of of someone who led an extraordinary life. Now, when the vacancy occurs that naturally leads to the to the question of what will happen next. And the answer in terms of what's going to happen next as we know now the president is going to make a nomination when I called for the president to make the nomination this coming week he's announced he's going to make the nomination this week, and I believe the right thing to do is for the Senate to take up this nomination and a confirm the nominee before election day now on the question of precedent. We had this fight at the end of the Brock Obama, a term, and and at the time all the Democrats were saying confirm the nominee confirmed the nominee and all the Republicans were saying we're not gonNA confirm the nominee, and so we've got a situation. You just played a quote for me in two thousand sixteen. We can play that game all day long where you can play I. Disagree with the nominee I don't disagree with that's what I'm just trying to get you to concede this is really about who has the votes and who has the power to any given time, right? Correct. No. It isn't if you look at history. One, the precedent is this has happened twenty nine times. Twenty nine times there has been a vacancy in a presidential election. I didn't know that that's residents had made nominations all twenty nine times. That's what presidents do. If there's a vacancy, they make a nomination what is the Senate done and there's a big difference in the Senate with weather the Senate is of the same party of the president or a different party the. President when the Senate has been of the same party of the President of Vacancy Occurs Election Year of the twenty, nine times those are nineteen of them of those nineteen. The Senate has confirmed those nominees seventeen time. So if the parties are the same, the Senate confirms the nominee when the parties are different, that's happened ten times. Merrick. Garland was one of them of those ten. The Senate has confirmed the nominees only twice. Only, twice now, there's a little bit of of learning that can go on here. Would this? The Senate and I talked about this the other day it'd be even before Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed the Senate and the. Court or the least democratic institutions in the whole thing they're the least responsive to democracy. Okay the court is appointed by the president confirmed by the Senate, right? That's how it works. The Senate is on six year term. Not Elected. As, often as the house and the president is not directly elected by the people, it's elected president selected by the Latrell College right and so these are the two least responsive parts of our. System in terms of democratic response. The House of Representatives is the most responsive to the people in terms of. You know the two year terms, right? And it has almost no role in the court other than establishing how many. Seats are on the court, which it may turn out to be an important role that they have. But the reality is that the least constitutional least democratic part of this whole thing is the court. And the second least democratic part is the Senate. And the the idea is that the founding fathers wanted to frustrate the whim of the moment. They wanted to frustrate the analogy. Of different kinds of. Attitudes that happened in society, and so by having these things related to the longer cycles, it meant that the judges were more responsive to the Republic and the constitutional ideas than they were to the whim of the moment, one more from Ted Cruz, and there's a reason for that. 00:30:08 - 00:35:01 It's not just simply your party, my party the reason is it's a question of checks and balances in order for a Supreme Court nomination. To go forward, you have to have the president and the Senate. In this instance, the American people voted elected Donald trump a big part of the reason they elected Donald Trump. Is Because of the Scalia. Vacancy and they wanted principal constitutionalist on the court and a big part of the reason why we have a Republican majority elected in two thousand fourteen reelected twenty, sixteen grown even larger twenty, eighteen a major issue in each of those elections the American people voted and said, we want constitutionalist judges. Right I hear what he said there. We have a majority in two thousand fourteen. The grew in sixteen and grew in eighteen. The Senate has become more Republican with each election. So have governors. Conservatism at the ballot box is succeeding. Don't believe twitter. Don't believe your local media because they're all full of crap they're lying. To you all of these polls, about Joe, Biden up by eight their intended to keep you home. Understand what the mission is. They want you dispirited. That's what they're trying to do. It's it's it's What do they call gas lighting, right? So Now. When we put through as conservatives because of this process when we put someone through this part of a group and back to my rant on groups that I'm not excited about the fact that we're giving in to this idea has to be a woman. But when we do say, let's put a woman candidate through. We put through somebody WHO's a Rockstar? Okay, the difference on the liberal side is they put through whoever screams the loudest. Whoever says I'm a victim with the loudest voice is who gets moved up on the liberal side. On our side because it's harder because you know if you're a black man who is conservative or a black woman who is a conservative Timori classic out there in in Baltimore, you're just going to get hammered for being an uncle Tom or whatever I don't know what they call a a woman on that side of the deal, but the point is that. You know their. It's terrible. The way they treat somebody who's not part of the expected, and so when we put someone forward whose one member one of those groups. There a Rockstar. Every time. Now. Again. Ruth Bader GINSBURG should've retired. Should have retired. In two, thousand, thirteen. Two Thousand Twelve two thousand thirteen when Barack Obama was reelected they had Harry Reid is the majority leader of the Senate they could put through somebody who was thirty seven years old, who would be on the court for fifty years. They didn't. They didn't. And so guess what? That's incompetence. That's long-term party incompetence. It's Hubris. An incompetent since the assumption, the problem with the Obama Administration wasn't wasn't that they were incompetent what they did the problem with the Obama Administration is that they thought they were so competent that no one else could ever compete with them. And so they thought they were permanent. Trump knows not permanent. Trump knows he's got limited time. That's what trump's doing so much so fast. 'cause trump knows if he doesn't get her done. Pretty quick. It could be outright and so. Now what this is. Is a chance for. US to have and by US I. Mean Conservatives People, WanNa keep the republic. For us to have an extinction level event, happen on the left. Literally, level an event that could just completely end their party. and. Here's why I don't care who trump nominates I could care less. I want them confirmed. I want them confirm it and the reason I, want confirmed because I want to watch the left lose their minds. And burn their own. Party down. When they lose their minds. America does see it. In fact, I would go so far as to say that the appointment of a conservative Supreme Court justice may be more important than trump being reelected in the big picture. 00:35:03 - 00:40:00 WHO KNOWS One vote makes a big difference, right? Now. Here's some things I have to say about. Justice GINSBURG. She's a legend right and She was wicked. SMART. wicked. SMART. She understood the law really well. And I wouldn't read some of her decisions. And Review I'd read them as they come out. A Geek. I read too much and it's it's not a good thing always but I do I spent a Lotta time sitting reading in the supreme. Court decisions when they come out a usually read most of them at least have a appear to have a significant import, which is almost all of them because otherwise they don't make the Supreme Court right. So she is a legend. And When you read her opinions and her dissents. You can see the logic flowing through it. Even though it's logic I didn't agree with and she had some premises I. Don't agree with you can see the logic in her arguments. She was a brilliant jurist she's worth studying. Elena Kagan. Sonia or Not so much. Not, so much these guys are ideologues. Who write about how they feel? There's very little logic in what they write about. They just. It's all about how they feel. They don't have liberal legal theories. They have. Theories about. How things work in people's lives and so on and not that that's bad. But that's not the law. Your job isn't to determine how much you like a law. As Supreme Court justice you're determined your job is to determine whether or not the law is constitutional and should be passed. That's your job. And so. Late Kagan. It's kind of funny. She was before she was on the court she was Obama's Solicitor General. LOOK UP HER WIN-LOSS RECORD Elena Kagan lost at the court consistently the arguments that she put in front of the court, the court rejected over and over and over again. So what did Obama do? Well, he put her on the court, the court wouldn't reject her arguments. When someone else made them. Right and so here we have ruth, Bader Ginsburg who is one of the most powerful women in the country who knows because she's wicked smart. She knows what the process is. She knows that if she retires Obama can put somebody in she saw Kagan. And Soda or come in, and here she was best friends with Antonin Scalia. Right? Now and Scalia. Many people think. I'm not sure I'm one of them. I'm just going to say what people think many people think. That Scalia was assassinated. J.. So here you are you're dying your your Ruth Bader Ginsburg you're dying of pancreatic cancer. Your best. Friend. In the law and Scalia. All sudden taken out maybe assassinated. Came and Your. Party. Appoints these these you know? I don't know what else to call them. These mental midgets who are concerned more about how things feel than about the law. She's looking at what the what's on the court and she's saying I can't give Obama another one of these. There's nobody here WHO's a lawyer? Not Saying that. The GINSBURG was some Kinda. Stealth conservative I. Just think that she didn't WanNa give Obama another pick. Maybe not. But I think that's what she did. I think she just said you know what? Screw you guys I'm going to stick it out. And when she saw. Joe. Biden. As the the candidate. I think that it was just all my gosh. They're going to put a dementia patient up here. I don't know I'm just speculating here as to how went down but regardless we're to talk a little bit about the virus in some of the the new attack line on Donald. Trump over the virus when we get back for the race so. Back in just a minute or two and we will. Get into that. Thanks again for your time and attention please visit the website and share the show and become a sponsor that would be awesome nice. Welcome back. Republic podcasts. 00:40:00 - 00:45:04 Thanks for giving me a minute out to a fault, my water bottle and make sure the guy talks for an hour. Your throat gets dry at times. What it is right now anyway. Welcome. Back to the republic keeper podcast. Joining the break. Coming in and the broadcast banks again, remember to hit that share button ensure the show. Live in progresses best if you can. Jewish on the podcast later also please do share the show. Doesn't matter so. So moving on we have. Some the new attack line on President trump has begun. And it is. Of course, you know trump is the worst person ever and apparently now It's it's why it's a couple of attack lines. First one is we have two hundred, thousand people dead and it's trump's fault and if trump had done something different, it would have been less. So the first one is. Here is Dr Sanjay Gupta. This is Vin Gupta. From Seattle I'm at the university. Of Washington. Chuck I. You nailed it without comment. I think it's the message. It sends that that's the loss opportunity in terms of quantification. Everybody's in criticize models because the the output is only as good as the input but there's convincing evidence that probably seventy percent of lives. Could have been saved that have since been lost if we had a early shutdown so two weeks earlier, seventy percent allies would have been saved. If we added masks on top, this is what I can tell chuck. I'm not going to speculate on what we could have done. But if we adopt universal mask and right now, something the president forty eight hours ago continues to to make fun of question the efficacy of if we adopt universal asking right now, we could potentially save up to two hundred thousand lives according to estimates, University of Washington by December one. So this is serious. This isn't going away and on the West Coast at least chuck you know we're talking about masks but well, fitting high-quality masks. That's the issue here is that just put a piece of cloth on your nose and your mouth? What's the type? The NASCAR WE CAN'T? And so Hurry said. Could. Save another two, hundred, thousand lives by December first. So what they're saying is that in the next ten weeks. WE'RE GONNA, lose another as many people's we've lost in the six months. Including the time when we didn't even know how to treat it or what to do that's what he's saying and the seventy percent figure. So the one, ninety, nine, there take seventy percent off there would have been what? Only sixty thousand deaths trump is responsible for one hundred, forty, thousand deaths. It's his fault. He has blood on his hands Donald. Trump is the worst man. Is the new line. Take a listen. It was shocking to see the president saying that the virus was a hoax saying that everything's okay. When we know that it's not the truth is he doesn't actually care about anyone else but himself if the president had taken this virus while seriously he actually made an effort to tell how serious it was. He would have slowed the virus Fred, she would have saved lives. He would have saved lives Donald trump would have saved lives. In fact, you know it's this is amazing. This now woman comments on this ad she says that it's up to half of all the deaths and the role that I had. Government aid for all of the role that I had. I was watching it the effects of the chaos that was happening at the White House and I could tell something really really wrong better respond to hear first-hand first-hand from Libya who is in the room y things were so chaotic that it wasn't just. Inexperienced people with dealing with something novel. And not. Prime. Cool. Not Realizing that they needed to rely on their governments Experts in public health emergency management community, but in fact. It wasn't just incompetence there was designed here. There was a intentional negligence anti here per explain. What she witnessed, it just broke my heart that in in our country that can happen and there a study that came out this week that really this into context why Lydia's testimony matters Brookings Institute looked at other countries around the globe in our country a compared in these are countries that have standards of living way. Ours have access to healthcare like ours and they discovered that because the way that we who've adventurers. Hit influence other countries we have nine, million, nine, million more people working today. And there would be a hundred thousand people not dead. 00:45:04 - 00:50:01 So. We have almost two hundred, thousand dead half of those wives would have been say if the trump administration has followed, the plans that we have in place have had in place for fifteen years and had acted responsibly in the way many other governments across the path. Right and so she says, half of the deaths would have been prevented right and so let me this is where you're going to be a better news consumer by being a Republican podcast listener whenever you hear the brookings. Institution. You should hear dishonest leftist think-tank. Because that's who the Brookings Institution is, they are a dishonest left wing wing think tank that's who they are. That's what they do. They're unreliable at every level. In every way. So. Then they had this presidential historian on our Melber did over on his name is on Michael Beschloss presidential historian and he said trump doesn't actually care but listens to what we're hearing about. This is you know you look elect trump again we they lose our democracy. You know what we were just hearing omen ago in private trump does not care. About those who are suffering dying from covert can you imagine if this were thousand, nine, hundred, forty, four and someone from the Franklin Roosevelt Administration. In closing years of world. War Two said he really doesn't care about the troops behind the scenes. He doesn't have a plan to win the war that would have been draconian. This is something we really haven't seen. Right with something win something we're not seeing now that's not what's happening. You one disgruntled employee who says that and that's not doesn't make it what's happening. Regardless, there was this guy doctor Redlener I guess is the guy's name last clip we have and he's GonNa he's now we've gone six months. And it's one ninety nine they've had on the screen they're right and now this guy is going to have the projection that this is the ultimate fear porn clip ready get beat be afraid be very, very afraid. Yes to call it's really just absolutely horrendous. In fact, if you just take the total number of days between now and the election now on the end of the year and just sit multiplied by thousand, you'll get a pretty good sense of what we're gonna be looking at fatality. Wise. If you carry that through the end of twenty, twenty one if things don't change dramatically and by the way he's he's completely dishonest about the time line for the vaccine and how effective it's going to be. So we have we're looking at hundreds of thousands and I actually had predicted a few months ago in an op Ed that we could be seeing six to eight, hundred, thousand fatalities if. Six to eight hundred, thousand fatalities. Six to eight, hundred, thousand. If what? If we don't do anything through the end of next year and the deaths continue at the pace, they were the worst day get really wild with the pandemic and we don't have the control measures. So what we've learned about him, he's absolutely a pathological liar. We should be remind yourselves about this every day and I'm waiting for the moment when his supporters will will get this and you know he was impeached for. Making a phone call to the Ukraine president. If you think about it now he's going to be responsible for a couple of hundred thousand unnecessary deaths covid nineteen. There's no reason why like other countries we should not have been at this point less than fifty thousand S, and now we're hitting two, hundred thousand. It is really outrageous and if that wasn't enough with the thing about this his attacks of Redfield on Redfield, etc.. All right. That's enough of that. I can't stand anymore of that guy. So the sorry about that but you know the. So this is the new attack line is that president trump is a mass murderer. That he is the worst person ever and he has blood on his hands. One hundred thousand dead Americans because of president trump is what they're saying. And of course, it's not true. and. If you go back to the early press conferences when the president had the charts up and they were doing the Fifty fifteen days or fourteen days to slow the spread. The initial projections? I. Remember I I sent out a tweet that said they're setting us up for the idea that a quarter million dead is a win. And That's exactly right. The projections from the Neil Ferguson and the whatever it is the. Ice. Over whatever it is the U. Dub, they were all in the millions. and. So now here we are this two, hundred thousand is. The truth is when you take out the nursing home patients. It's unbelievably successful. and. So this is just a lie and IT'S A it's a smear and it's designed to. 00:50:02 - 00:50:31 Hurt the president and give Joe Biden an opportunity to occupy the White House one I hope that he never gets. So thanks for listening this morning. I appreciate your time and attention. Do Remember visit the website and support. The show will be back with more tomorrow and. Again thanksgiving risen. Left complaining of “chilling effect” – correct. Soros Fox Gingrich Clip Fox Response Calls for drastic criminal justice and police reforms have swept the country since the death of George Floyd, but local prosecutors already are making waves on that front -- in a sign that under-the-radar political investments made by progressive groups in recent years are paying off. District attorneys and current candidates whose campaigns benefited from the work of left-wing organizations – including ones backed by liberal billionaire George Soros – are now pushing for new practices that could see sharp reductions in prosecutions and incarcerations. Soros, through the Justice & Public Safety PAC and other groups, has been spending millions of dollars on prosecutorial races in recent years, with a number of beneficiaries making headlines since their elections. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner, who was boosted by Soros in her campaign, drew controversy when she announced her office was bringing felony charges against Mark and Patricia McCloskey, the couple who brandished guns outside their home as protesters marched by in June. The McCloskeys have said many times they were defending themselves, with tensions high in St. Louis and other cities over race and law enforcement. They said the crowd of demonstrators broke an iron gate marked with "No Trespassing" and "Private Street" signs, and that some threatened them. Another high-profile prosecutor who has been backed by Soros in the past is Cook County, Ill. State's Attorney Kim Foxx. Foxx drew national attention when she dismissed the case against actor Jussie Smollett, who had been accused of faking a hate crime attack against himself. The case was later taken over by a special prosecutor who filed new charges. Foxx is seeking reelection this year and already won her Democratic primary. Regarding ongoing protests in her jurisdiction, she has said that her office will lean toward dismissing cases coming from protests or curfew violations (Mayor Lori Lightfoot imposed a curfew between May 30 and June 6 after a George Floyd protest). “The question it comes down to is, is it a good use of our time and resources?” Foxx told the Chicago Sun-Times. “No, it’s not.” Looking at her term in office, a report from the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund found a 13 percent decline in guilty pleas or verdicts in felony cases and a 39 percent increase in dropped or lost cases after Foxx took office in 2016. San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin, another beneficiary of Soros-tied contributions, recently defended the movement to defund police. In a discussion with Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., earlier in July, Boudin questioned whether money going to police was “the most effective” use of taxpayer dollars. Boudin is also one of a number of district attorneys participating in "Truth, Justice and Reconciliation Commissions," teaming with the Grassroots Law Project, an organization co-founded by activist Shaun King that calls for defunding police. The other district attorneys who are participating in these commissions are Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner and Suffolk County, Mass., DA Rachael Rollins, who have both benefited from Soros’ support. Krasner, who was elected after Soros put $1.45 million into a political action committee that supported him, has also taken a public stance regarding events that have spun out of the protests over Floyd’s death, particularly the federal response to violent demonstrations in cities like Portland. In a Washington Post op-ed he co-wrote with Baltimore DA Marilyn Mosby, Krasner threatened to have federal officers arrested and charged if they overstep their authority in his jurisdiction, after officers in Portland were accused of using excessive force. “Should Trump send federal agents who engage in the same illegal vigilante activities, unlawfully assaulting and kidnapping people, they will face criminal charges from our offices,” Krasner and Mosby said. In Contra Costa County, Calif., District Attorney Diana Becton – also backed by Soros – changed how her office handles police shooting cases, removing deputy district attorney Barry Grove from his role as the main prosecutor in such cases, switching to a team approach, according to the Mercury News. Becton also announced earlier this month that she was filing hate crime charges against Nichole Anderson and David Nelson, White people who were allegedly caught painting over a Black Lives Matter mural. Orlando State Attorney candidate Monique Worrell is also backed by a group linked to Soros in her quest to fill the seat that will be vacated by Aramis Ayala, who was also supported by Soros. Worrell’s platform calls for an end to cash bail, which would result in more defendants being released before their trial. She also says that incarceration should be a “last resort,” and that those who do not pose “a threat to the physical safety of others” should not be placed behind bars. Worrell’s opponent Ryan Williams has cited the Soros connection as a point of attack, and Worrell has accused Williams of playing on anti-Semitic tropes by mentioning Soros’ involvement. But the Jewish political philanthropist is not the only player in the game of prosecutorial campaigns. Real Justice PAC, also co-founded by Shaun King, has supported 29 head prosecutors and state attorneys general since 2018, including several who were also backed by Soros, such as Gardner, Boudin, Rollins and Becton. The organization is also backing the 2020 campaigns of Foxx and 13 other candidates seeking office. The organization's goals include electing – and recruiting – candidates who would make changes to criminal justice systems such as ending cash bail and “rolling back practices that lead to mass incarceration.” One 2020 candidate Real Justice succeeded in getting elected already is Multnomah County, Ore., District Attorney Mike Schmidt, who will be in a key position when he takes office on Aug. 1, given that his jurisdiction includes Portland, where riots have been taking place amid months of protests following Floyd’s death. Schmidt has said that he would potentially drop charges against nonviolent protesters when he is in office, according to local NBC affiliate KGW Delia Garza, who won the Democratic primary in Travis County, Texas, and will run unopposed in November, is also backed by Real Justice. Garza has already said that her office will decline to prosecute certain types of cases. “We’re not going to prosecute low-level drug offenses. We’re not going to prosecute crimes that are an extension of someone being in poverty, basically,” Garza said, according to KXAN. “You know, we’re going to look at the way that we prosecute crimes like prostitution, because so many times those things, those kinds of crimes are related to poverty in some kind of way.” Trasnscript: 124 - Fox Silences Gingrich - Is George Soros behind lax prosecutions? 00:00:05 - 00:05:03 A. Youtube and now on daily motion also. Thank you for your time and attention I'm grateful for it and hope everybody's off to a good start. for the day and Let's see. We've got a whole bunch of stuff going on and Yesterday I played a clip of. Speaker Gingrich was on the. Show outnumbered there with Harris Faulkner and Melissa Francis and what the Speaker had to say was that he thought that the big problem was that these. Attorneys district attorneys are not taking care of business and prosecuting people. and. The hosts seemed a little bit put off by that. And They There was fourteen seconds of dead air. As a result and Harris Wagner has come back and responded to that but I'm decided that I wanted to see keep hearing about George Soros, and I don't really know about George Soros other than the rumors and so on a here and I decided that wasn't good enough and I wanted to learn a little bit more for myself and so and for you I figured if I don't know you probably don't so we can learn together. So first let's go and set up in case you have missed this out there this is what I'm referencing that happened with. Speaker Gingrich on the show outnumbered on Fox I guess this would have been on Tuesday. Hero whose lives have been destroyed by this violence. They represent every. Speaker Gingrich have a final thought for us. Look, the number one problem in almost all these cities is George Soros elected left wing anti police, pro criminal district attorneys who refuse to keep people locked up. Just yesterday they put somebody back on the street who's wanted for two different murders in New York City. You cannot solve this problem and both powers and by. Have talked very. About what they call progressive the district. Attorney's progressive. District attorneys are anti police pro criminal in overwhelmingly elected with George sources, money, and their major cause of the violence we're seeing who's they keep putting violent criminals back on the street. I'm not sure we need to bring George listen to this. I was going to get the last word Paker. He he paid for it. So here's the. Teen seconds. I agree it. Doesn't need to be a part of this conversation. One two, three, four, five, though it's six seven. Eight. Nine, ten eleven twelve. Ten, move on fourteen. Courtesy House. We have our network team. Gist an absolute eternity for that much debt air to happen and so. I don't know if somebody was speaking in Harris faulkners ear or what was going on while that was happening but she came out and said something about it. Afterwards. Here is what Harris Faulkner had to say. So we had a little incident on the show yesterday that was not smooth, and while I was leading that segment, we had interruptions and I sat silently while all of that played out. Also not ideal our guest former. House Speaker Newt Gingrich who was beloved and needed to be allowed to speak with the openness and respect that the show is all about. was interrupted. Do we debate with fire here? Yes but we must also give each other space to express ourselves. As the only original member of the six year old amazing daytime ride known outnumbered I. 00:05:03 - 00:10:00 Especially want to rock and roll with every voice in perspective at the table we don't censor on the show. And that's why we're winning weekdays at noon. I found that answer to be somewhat unsatisfactory candidly. I don't think that was For me that's not enough and you know there was an interruption and now I think the interruption was that you talked about George Soros and or that Nigga. Mr. Newt talked about George Soros and does appear that that is a sin that is not allowed on Fox News and I had absolutely no more no idea. It's the title on the on the livestream Thursday. I keep forgetting to update it before I start to livestream of all the things I'm doing but I'll get I'll get that down I need to just probably change it to live broadcast and it's always right. So sorry about that and probably need to. How to do that? During one of these video clips update are regardless. Glenn Beck used to be a Fox News host and Glenn Beck. was run out of the network and Glenn Beck says it was because he was talking about George Soros I will tell you that George Soros is not to be discussed. It is verboten You know when I got down to the end one of the things at Fox News they were starting to tell me I can't talk about things. They just talk about this stop talking about that one of them was God. One of them was Israel and the other one was George Soros and if you remember Glen You won't play the game. The problem with you is you won't play the game. If you've ever heard me tell that story that conversation started with George Soros. So the problem with us, you won't play the game and what that means that you won't shut up about the things that we don't want to talk about. and. So. All right. Well, that's weird. So this is supposed to be the right wing network. We're not hearing criticism, George Soros on the left wing networks and now when he's criticized on Fox, they shut down. Speaker. Gingrich Glenn Beck says that that's why he's not on the network anymore. So okay. What do we make of that? Well? Let's learn about George Soros. So this is George Soros mostly in his own words and in his son words son's words. This is video from. The Open Society Foundation website. And standing over society is one thing trying to. Plead open societies for strengthening opus had his is something else they have to evolve they have to create themselves. And that process is never ending process people are free and they want to hide behind. Orders. Use oversight and it sounded ways in order to have an open society you have to mediate the tension between equality and liberty popular sovereignty and individual freedom is a difficult task. The foundation does more than fun projects with. Certain things. One has to fight for even who is not properly if you believe in something. And you have the convictions. Towards it. You can really withstand. Surmountable odds I. Really. Fight fight. Society is always in danger. and. Renew itself being tested. And surviving. and. So that's that's George Soros and his son there, and you know it all sounds good open society and but you heard the one guy in there say that people are fearful. So they want to hide behind borders. So when they say open what they mean and it sounds you know better than it is what they mean is societies without rules. That's what they mean by open. They. Mean you're open to do whatever you want. Without restriction. That's what it means, and that's a very different thing from what it sounds like when you say open society, it sounds. Better than it is. So Mr Newt makes this claim that George A source has paid for it. So that well, let's find out. If George Soros WHO's paid for it So. Let me just share with you some reporting from Fox, news of all places that shut down the conversation, and I'm not gonNA share the video from them as much as a some. Text and then we'll share some. 00:10:01 - 00:15:02 Audio for some candid say funded. But so here's what what they report. district attorney's and current candidates. Campaigns benefited from the work of left-wing organizations including ones backed by liberal billionaire. George Soros are pushing for new practices that could see productions in prosecutions and. incarcerations. Soros through the Justice and public safety pack and other groups has been spending millions of dollars on prosecutorial races in recent years. A number of beneficiaries making headlines since their election all right now yes remember the mccloskey's. Those are the people in Saint Louis who ended up. With the guns out on their driveway as the protesters were coming by spoke at the RNC convention and They are being prosecuted, right? and. Of course, they're being prosecuted by prosecutors not prosecuting the protesters and vandals. So, who is this prosecutor? While her name is Kim Gardner and she was elected and paid for by this justice in public safety pack that is funded by George. Soros. So here is Kim, Gardner is the bully. Pulpit this is the threats that we receive. We're doing our job to be true ministers of justice. So no policeman is GonNa tell you or any other unit will come to you and tell you if you hold us accountable, we're going to start working. We're not gonNA police your community to make you the calls or say you're the cause of violent crime in your communities and right now we're in A. Very, unique time that we have policing unions with I call him forty-five to promote divisiveness in rhetoric of this anti law enforcement where it's perpetuating a fear that is causing problems with prosecutors like our sales to promote justice and when you have people who will threaten your livelihood not just whether you do your job we'll tell you we will make it difficult for you to do your job in every way. And they have the platform to co have the media. report. It. Yeah so There she is. She's You know complaining that. The police union is telling is protecting the police and that they're protecting the police from her the prosecutor. and. So it's it's amazing that these guys don't seem to be in favor of law and order now. Remember the Jussie smollet case. This was the case where the guy shows up in In Chicago. There and he's an actor right is on the whatever the show was I don't remember the name of the show that the guy was on. But The show he was on. I. Guess. It was empire was the name of the show. Anyway he was not an important player on that show in any serious way and but he went and. Got Himself fake attacked I, guess it was a hoax right and the prosecutor who wouldn't prosecute him was. This Kim Fox in Chicago, and so here is some Kim Vox. CanNot conflate peaceful protesters with what we saw last night. Last night was not an extension of a peaceful protests. Last night was not an extension of righteous anger. Last. Night was a blatant spray display. Of Criminal Behavior. What drove that behavior how we got there? Are Questions that we can continue to answer. But it is not the people for whom we've chosen not to use our resources to prosecute. The mothers who are mourning the loss is of their children the people who are afraid to go out into the stores into the streets, the people who are unable to come downtown today to go to work. Are Looking for answers. Not. Blame. Yeah looking for answers not blaming. So what she's saying is I don't want to prosecute anybody. I want answers to racial justice I. Don't want answers to the crime. Of course, this has led to. More and more crime because the criminals are just getting released. What's cheese Chicago Chevy violence now being experienced in several major cities including Chicago I'll research from a pro-police group is blaming local prosecutors and what they say is a declining conviction rate wgn investigates has an exclusive first look. At. This is Chicago. Every weekend teen killed in one every weekend painful holiday weekend. 00:15:02 - 00:20:04 There's no consequences. To legal gun possession. In our criminal justice system Chicago's new, and that's it right there. That's the new police chief. And he says there's no consequences to credit to gun possession in Chicago. There's no consequences to a lot of things in Chicago. There's no consequences to drug dealing. There's no consequences to all kinds of things in Chicago and so Kim Fox the prosecutor there again elected with George Soros money funded by put forward by everything about her was funded by George Soros and so now the police union is asking for her to resign. Public Room, Euch several police leaders in. Cook. County announced they have no confidence in Cook County State's attorney Kim Fox and they want her to resign. So the move follows the dismissal of charges in the Jussie smollet case however, at least one south suburban police chief disagrees with the move and this opposition goes beyond just the small case eyewitness news reporters here Sheltie is live right now with more on this call to resign today Sarah. Judy and rob the fraternal order of police and cook. County suburban police chief say that their frustration with Kim Fox started way before the Jussie smollet case, they accuse the state's attorney's Office of under prosecuting cases even not prosecuting cases even felony cases. We cannot stand for this any longer. Ms Facts needs to resign. And she should do it quickly. And so the cops are calling for her to resign and everybody wants to know what's going on in Chicago. WHY DO PEOPLE GETTING MURDERED IN CHICAGO? Well, apparently, there's no consequences for gun possession in Chicago and You know it is what it is. You can't change. What you can't change their the Nice woman who is the prosecutor isn't prosecuting the crimes. and. So I just got a message that the audio is a little buggy on guess that's up to the stream sometimes it's. You know it's interesting. I. The other day it was. Terrible on. On periscope and good on facebook and I guess today maybe a facebook as the one having trouble or maybe. All of them are regardless. The the idea here is we do the show live and it is what it is and we'll. All put it out on the podcast. Later, it'll be smooth as butter being recorded here in the idea was since I'm recording it anyway, we'll do it live and see how it works So Kim Fox they're calling for horror Resignation there in Chicago and so this is a good time for me to take a break and I will do that and see if I can't beef up the smoothness of the extreme as well at the same time. So be right back in just a minute or two and. You know how that works. So this is Brian I'll tell you the Republican podcast and I will be. Right, back Welcome back through public podcast and During the break I hopefully was able to clean up the livestream a little bit and. Hopefully, it's it's going to run a little bit better now for the program. Thank you for your patience. I think it was pilot error I want to blame the. Gerbils in the sky that make the Internet work but I think it was me. Song you know it is what it is. You know. Leaving the real world take responsibility, right you're grown up. So any welcome back to the Republican broadcasts with those who are new to the program So maybe I met the Lauren Culpa van last night handing out some business cards. Welcome. Thanks for joining us taking calls after the next break probably the eight six six. Nine eight eight eighty three eleven is the phone number if you WANNA call in be happy to have you and the Lauren culp rally last night was pretty cool deal and natural talk about that. Much on the show being were nationally focused show and that's a local election but that's the guy running for governor here in the state of Washington and pretty cool. So Now. Kim Fox there the prosecutor in Chicago basically decided that they don't want to use their Their public resources for prosecutions they don't think that's a good use of the resources that they think. It's a lot better to use them for I. Don't know whatever the famous thing was midnight basketball right now. In San Francisco. There was a guy supported again by George Soros. His name is Chesa Bodine. And chesser Benin is. The son? Of two of the weather underground bombers who are while his father is in federal prison. 00:20:04 - 00:25:01 His mother was in federal prison for years, and so this guy grew up with the idea that all jail is bad. And all incarceration is bad because his dad who was a criminal was incarcerated and so Chessel Benin is now the George. Soros Elected operated whatever guy? WHO's The San? Francisco. District Attorney Tonight San Francisco has a new district attorney chase a boo dean cave excise. Your Vasquez spoke to the new trump prosecutor about how he plans to take charge. The district attorney chase a bodine swore in the evening with the promise to reform San Francisco's justice system as I serve as district attorney district attorney, but the city and county of San Francisco or the city and county of San Francisco. Dean a former assistant public defender is now the top prosecutor. He says, there are too many people in jail over incarceration. He calls it and he says, one of his reforms will be decarbonisation. Join me join this movement join US rejecting the notion that to be free we must cage others. To do three months you other services. Quality of life issues such as carbon worries end open air drug abuse. I asked the incoming da whether justice system reforms could invite criminals who are not worried about legal consequence. Crimes these street level crimes like burglaries under your administration will they be prosecuted vigorously or will they feel emboldened as people are worried about I think we're going to have some very effective strategies to deter people from committing those crimes in San Francisco I, hope they don't commit them anywhere, but if they do not going to be in San Francisco on my watch I also asked Budeina about police shootings. Will he prosecute officers? I certainly hope not I don't look forward to filing criminal charges against anyone no matter who they are no matter what they do. It's difficult decision you. have to make just, knock. involving. and. Potentially in some cases, involving polices well, Houdini says its priorities will be bail reform sentencing reform and increased collaboration with public defenders. He says, he will soon be announcing strategies to deal with sexual assault as well as auto burglaries in San, Francisco Joe Vazquez KP and so you get to hear now. What the real motivation for Chesa Boudin is and he reveals it. This is actually a campaign commercial but you can hear in here when he talks about Carson. This is why this isn't based on kind of logic or common sense or experience or than anyone has seen this work anywhere. This is purely philosophical. Mass incarceration. It's a term that we hear almost daily. and. Yet what does it mean? To me, it meant going through prison gates. Every single time I wanted to see my parents. Since I was in diapers. To me it still means that as an adult. Because my father is serving a life sentence for crimes he committed when I was in diapers, my mother served twenty two years in prison. That's a reality that will never be lost on me. The implication is that somehow it's wrong for his father to be serving a life sentence for blowing people up. That's what his dad did. He was a weather underground terrorist. and His mom helped. and. They were will along with Bill Ayers Barack. Obama's buddy. They're in prison for billers isn't. A biller and his wife I believe in Nadine Dorn I think was And I don't know if Bill Ayers was ever prosecuted or not I regardless he continues. The reality though is not unique to me. It's not unique to the people I've represented or their families in my years. As a San, Francisco deputy public defender, it's an experience shared by the majority of Americans. The majority of Americans have an immediate family member who resided currently or formerly incarcerated is a defining feature of modern American culture. We need to end it now and we should start in San Francisco. That's And that's so that was his one of his campaign commercials is part about was what that was from and so. This Guy Chess Medine says that you know yes. Most people have a family member who has done jail time. I do. I do I have a family member? Who's done jail time? And you know it's not. 00:25:01 - 00:30:02 It's one of those that just is what it is right now I. I will tell you that this particular family member. Would tell you that He deserved the jail time. Okay, he would tell you that that the jail time was for crimes he committed. That, he wasn't a victim of the system when he went to jail, he was a victim miser. Of other people. And so I don't know what the problem is. Now, Philadelphia has a district attorney on named Larry Crasner. who an another one Name Rachel Rollins who's in a Massachusetts but. There is the one in Philadelphia and these guys are both funded by George Soros funded their campaigns and so here is Larry crafter. Welcome. I am Larry Crasner Philadelphia's district attorney. The most incarcerated country in the world is the United States Pennsylvania and Philadelphia has a terrible history of mass incarceration and excessive parole and probation. It's worse than many other parts of the United States. Incarceration tears apart society and it doesn't make us safe. It makes us broke. It takes resources from the things that prevent crime and make society whole like good public education, economic development health care, and treatment for children and families, and it shifts those resources to custody and supervision that costs a lot often more than fifty thousand dollars per person per year. Excessive. Parole and probation present. The same problem as excessive incarceration science shows that when parole and probation go on for too long they actually caused crime. While your taxes, just keep going up to pay that. Bill. Let's talk about how since the office in January two, thousand, eighteen, the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office has worked to reduce excessive jail and supervision. So we can shift those resources to achieve effective crime prevention just society. I heard, he says, they're excessive jail. And Supervision. We, we don't want to lock people up and then make sure that they you know and look after them there and we don't want to let them out and look after them. We don't want to look after him at all. We just WANNA have give him a little class and tell them you know Johnny, you have to stop being really bad now. And if you don't stop being really bad, you're GONNA have to come back and take to their class. I don't understand the idea that that we are incarcerating too many people and they start letting these people out and the city's turn to garbage, and this is the. Source Philosophy. Here's one more Larry Krassner. The stark difference between what's coming out of the president's mouth and what's happening on the streets in Philadelphia. We have not had anything that could be described as A. Burglaries criminal trespasses what some people would call looting. We haven't had anything like that. For weeks we have had. Peaceful protests on one hundred percent peaceful protests here for weeks. So when he's talking about taking over cities and he's talking about cities being out of control, he is lying. About the city Philadelphia which is nothing new. We have no regard for the truth. He has no regard for facts. If they all of the law then we'll all get along famously and if they choose not to follow the law, then they will discover that there are laws in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania that can be used to prosecute them. So he's talking about cutting the federal government? But based on what I saw in. Portland is my opinion that some of that behavior looks. Like. Criminal Conduct. He's just wrong. Federal law enforcement officers are not above state law and they're not a federal I even though our president would like to present he's above the law none of them are above the law. That we have seen in Portland might provide a clue as to what could be coming. You know when you cause serious bodily injury fraction or fracturing someone's skull. And if that is done in a What in my opinion? is a manner that does not legally justified charged with aggravated Assault First Degree felony. You could be potentially charged with aggravated Assault second-degree felony. You might be charged with attempted murder depending upon all of the circumstances that apply. I'm just I'm just stating something pretty basic, which is when you wear a uniform you're supposed to come correct that made you follow the constitution you follow the laws. And we'RE NOT GONNA put up with. American. Law Enforcement Federal agencies behaving like they're Putin's private police. That's not. See now this is so silly. 00:30:03 - 00:35:08 They're like they're behaving like they're Putin's private police. It's just ridiculous. You. Know to to say that the as though Somehow Vladimir Putin is calling donald trump saying, hey, why don't you get a some guys out there on the street in Portland because they're burning down the courthouse and over here in Russia we think that's really bad. Or is it that if you were patriotic You would let them burn down the courthouse is that what he's saying that that would be the right thing to do. The, you know. Ted. Wheeler wasn't protecting it Governor Brown? Wasn't protecting you. So president trump went in and protected at since it's federal property. Not let him continue happening here. You know these are just words. It's typical is typical trump just words he said this is going to take over us any and then that takeover. Looks like what one hundred fifty guys showing up in military gear alarm quite clear with the streets are I mean is that really what we're talking about so allows really just fluffing nonsense I don't think we should. I actually don't think we should worry too much about it other than to worry about the the possibility that this is playing into some you know typical game of divide and conquer that I think will not serve him. So. Divide and conquer is exactly what the whole Soros Open Society thing is about they want to divide the people who have an by open society. What they mean let me translate is one world government. Okay and so. They WANNA have a one world government, and what that means is that you eliminate borders, you'll eight national distinctions at every level. Okay and so when he's talking about the idea of not serving his interest, that's because he thinks that nationalism is bad. And that if you're interested in nationalism that somehow you are a problematic. Person So. That is the kind of content had related to this stuff. I've got a few other things queued up or teed up. So let's immigration grab a break real quick, and when we get back from the break over the break, if you want to call in make some calls. That's great. If not, we can talk about what I saw in her last night at the Lauren culp rally and so on and so forth. So the phone number is eight, six, six, nine, hundred, eighty, three eleven. If you WANNA call in that great. The facebook Messenger Youtube twitter messing here, kind of things are open to so I will be back. Shortly and Occidental. Republican podcast. Money Brian O'Kelly. I will be your Ford the balance of program I guess all the all the time on. Picking up the people depend on it and I need a guest host. People do as they do the best of shows right and. When the thing gets big enough nobody wants best of and then people want to sit in for him. So I guess at something maybe someday. So. Not Talk to the a little bit about why or last night with. Rally and and just what I saw there along with. Things. Nobody. Called in over the break. So and I can't actually take a phone call while I'm doing this because Well, you know you might be nuts and I don't have a call screener. So probably grab another break before it's done and. Go from there anyway So last night I went out to the Rally for the guy who wants to be the governor in the state of Washington, and for those who don't know around the country, this guy came to prominence. About, two years ago we passed a law in Washington state that was a gun lawn I don't WanNa. Get in the weeds on what this law was but long story short it was a restrictive law that the gun control lobby loved and the gun rights lobby didn't love and it's Not yet been determined to be unconstitutional but I don't know if that's been challenged regardless Lauren culp was the share of over way over on the east side of the state for those of you who don't know Washington state. Most of the population is on the west coast. The eastern part of the state is mostly agricultural and when you get way east or by the Idaho border, it is very, very little populated and Oak Dogan County over there is where Lauren. Call was the sure of. Or is the sheriff still I believe and He said when this law passed I'm not GonNa enforce it in my county. It's on constitutional I'm not doing it. You can't make me I took an oath to preserve and protect the constitution, and you are asking me to act outside of it and I won't do it. And so that's how Lauren culprits to prominence, and then this year we had this This primary election process and normally. 00:35:08 - 00:40:06 In the primary election, it's a top to kind of a primary thing and. But because the COVID, we had thirty, seven, thirty, eight candidates I think for governor on the GOP ticket and Lauren Culpa rose the top and beat them all and so I've seen him now in person twice and man this guy gets the constitution. He said any bill that comes across my desk. The first question I'm going to ask is it constitutional because? I don't care how much I like it or don't like it. If it's not constitutional, we can't do it and it's not gonNA hold up in the end anyway and What I've seen at these rallies now, a couple times is first of all. There's just a ton of people. There's a lot of energy on the right in this very, very blue state. There's a lot of red energy, which is the first time I've seen it really even when trump ran. Came and did a rally. There are a lot of people went to that trump rally but there was not enthusiasm for anybody on the gubernatorial side. Like this, this is very, very different than what we've seen here. Now, the the second the I noticed is that there were just a ton of people I mean literally like get a ton. Of People. Open carrying. Just, a lot of guys walk around with their hips and I'm not here to say that's good or bad, but I'll tell you what? If you're the person who wanted to come in and shoot that place. You weren't going to get a chance you're GONNA get one or two shots Hav, and you're going to be all done. There was just I mean first of all is a lot of law enforcement because Lauren call a police officer, right. But then also just people were comfortable open carrying in that environment. Another thing. I. Saw that was interesting is just a ton of not had masks on I couldn't say nobody but. Very few people have masks on I did see one Cunanan on great awakening shirt just one shirt like that, and so that was. Interesting. Now, the thing that I can share and is kind of an. I don't know how to say it's not really off the record. It's not a super big secret but. Let's just say that that our military has some unbelievable crowd control. Abilities okay these. Are Bases in the Middle East are. Very often surrounded by hostile crowds and that's just nothing new. It's been going for a long time. And not just in the middle. East. But other places to what America does unpopular things are basis get kind of surrounded by folks and. So we have some really effective crowd control. Methods and technology that we employ and when these things were happening in Seattle and I know some of these things have been happening in Portland. It's it's absolutely the One. Prosecutor there crowder from Philadelphia and the guys can't tell the difference between the street and the federal property. He's right on the street. The military can't operate posse. COMITATUS. Prevents that. But there's nothing that says that they can't give logistical support the people who are operating on the street. And this is really important. You know the the the COPs can't the military can't arrest you. But nothing says that the military camp provide intelligence or surveillance? Capabilities to the police that they arrest you with. As long as we're not violating the constitution. So those surveillance things would have a warrant and so on. But outdoor surveillance surveillance crowd doesn't require warrants, right. So the ability of pick out one voice from the crowd and identify who it is and identify one actor and some of those kind of things that the military has for capabilities but just say this. I, know I know now I had suspected but I now know that those capabilities have been brought to bear in some of these situations. What that means is there are a couple of big shifts here. That are very important and one is that the local police are not just on their own anymore. They are effectively every police agency that wants to. Has All of the women or all of the technology and support of the US military available them all they have to ask the president is making it available to them. So. PORTLAND. House a prosecutor Mike Schmidt. Came in down there and he was the George Soros back candidate, and so the police have come in there and. 00:40:06 - 00:45:14 The state police were coming in there and arresting people and they weren't getting prosecuted because of Mike Schmidt and so the state police pulled out of Portland. and. Said we'RE NOT GONNA. Waste our resources here if these guys aren't GonNa Bother, going to bother to prosecute them. Well the federal government said we will. They raise their hand will will prosecute them. We'll go ahead. We'll put them in jail. And so they're not getting charged with these local ordinances they're getting charged with federal crimes, and so the difference here is if they had been charged by Mike, Schmidt who wanted to keep them out of jail. do you want to go to jail? They would have been subject to a one year or two year local state of Oregon incarceration. But because Mike Schmidt decided not to prosecute. They're going to be prosecuted under federal law. which is going to put them in jail for somewhere between ten and forty years. And as this has ramped up, the complaints on the part of the left has been while you're trying to intimidate. People. Yes. That's the idea they're trying to intimidate people into not protesting or at least not into not protesting into not being violent when they do. So shifting gears, we'll come back I'm gonNA, take a break real quick actually I want shifting years old just said over to. The next thing John MacArthur is the pastor in Los Angeles of Grace Community Church and he has been fighting this ongoing battle with the county about opening up and having church services so they brought him into. The church and he brought people into the church, he said welcome to our protest. and. Then, the city got mad about that and has a snapped the lease on their parking lot and John. Macarthur now says, your have put me in jail and they're threatening that and he says, bring it on the angles been telling you for months. Blue states are using Cohen restrictions as a cover to launch an all out assault on your inalienable rights like you're right to religious liberty. Now. The tyrants in California are still pretty giving people for worshiping indoors all by executive. Fiat. But one pastor, he's fighting back to find a court order against enor- services and that man is pastor John Macarthur, and this is from the sermon. He gave to a packed hall of worshippers last Sunday. A. Pastor John. Macarthur of Grace Community Church joins me now macarthur why is this important for you to stand up to these owners edicts? Well. We believe that the Governor County, the city in the health department or going against the Constitution and just to remove one obvious question rate of Kobe in California is one one hundredth of one percent. So one one, hundred of one percent of forty million people have covid an ad eliminates freedom to worship from the entire state, the other ninety, nine point, nine percent right? The constitution supports s him by the way I am so thankful that president trump as told me personally that he supports church as essential and the churches need to stay open. So the Constitution on our side and the president's backing we're open. Pastor MacArthur Kamala Harris thanks we're in essentially rolled war to listen. This is not about punishment. It's about big brother is simply about saying a leader. What a leader says in times of crisis, and this is you can look at World War Two you look at the Great Depression where leader said. We each have to sacrifice for the sake of the nation and the collective and Mansa. This is about Half a million Americans die turn. World. War trying to free Europe. The same. To what you now to somehow justify depriving people of their inalienable rights to assemble to petition the government and of course, to worship as a community. Well of course, but it's more than that Laura. The Church Preaches the gospel of Jesus Christ Jesus died and rose again and the only source of eternal salvation when the church doesn't exist make sure it navigates around politicians whims the church exists in the world preached the Saving Gospel of Christ or not concerned about the flu we're working CERNA about eternity eternal life salvation, and the more dire circumstances become in the world around us the more critical. 00:45:14 - 00:49:48 The more essential the church becomes and the more important. The Gospel becomes I'll tell you something our church is literally flooded with people. We have them in every nook and cranny jammed together inside outside on several floors in our children's education building in the gym in a tent outside their flooding the place hear the message of forgiveness and salvation in a time when feared is being propagated on every. As. I listen to Selma. And the you know there's an old saying that says, in the time when all the world is a liar, people will flock to manny tells the truth. And that's John. Macarthur right now and he's telling the truth it's unconstitutional. It's illegal to restrict my movement. You can't quarantine me when I'm healthy. You can quarantine me when I'm sick or you have a reasonable suspicion that I'm sick. And so the. Contrast couldn't be more stark between the two sides in this debate or the two sides. In the discussion we've got the Joe. Biden. Side that wants to put literally everybody in a mask and make it the law that you don't have a choice and down to probably arresting you who knows here is Biden's pitch for a mask mandate by his own admission. He continued to lie about covert nineteen double down on the catastrophic mistakes that he's made, and perhaps worst of all made clear that he still doesn't have a plan. To bring us out of this crisis even said I quote. A lot of people think that masks are not good. Undercutting easiest most effective means we have reducing the spread of this disease I would call all the governors to the White House. And say because there's a question I think it's an can be answered in the positive a question whether I can mandate. Over state lines in every single state has to comply. Now our legal team thinks I can do that based upon the degree to which there's a crisis in those states and how bad things are for the country and if we don't do it what happens. But I would make the case. I'd make the case why it's necessary. Have the scientists to rate lay out in detail why and I would go to every governor and I go to governor's related Republican and Democratic Governors nine say we have to have this national manding we must do it. So. How does that make sense? How does it make sense that we have a national mask mandate? You know when when you have a state like you know Montana or no North Dakota or how how about this does it make sense to have a national mandate that includes Alaska? How about Guam what about Puerto Rico? How about these islands? They have the same breakout issues or infection issues everywhere else. To treat, New York City. And New Jersey and Los Angeles. The same is Cheyenne Wyoming. Or Chattanooga. Tennessee or. Panama City Florida just thinking about where some friends live you know or who knows you know a million other small towns. You know. Green Bay. Wisconsin. Is Not, Los Angeles, and the idea of treating all of these like a monolith is you know the old saying goes liberals don't care what what you do as long as it's mandatory. You know they just WanNa make sure that everybody is always being treated the same and they want equality of outcome, not equality of opportunity and such a big important difference in the philosophical difference between the parties. So thanks for joining. I'm going to wrap it up here and will head off to the weekend and yet the podcast out. So later today those who. were. Finding the audio dropping out in the early part of the show that'll be rectified on the podcast. Thanks again for your time and attention. If you added up all the time that internet libertarians have spent arguing with people about who will build the roads, they’ve probably wasted decades of time that could have been spent building wealth to actually buy the roads. Recently, some California cities have started using their roads as collateral to obtain private funding to pay down their pension obligations. So NOW private financial interests are just a few steps away from actually owning the roads! If you think the government is so bad and so incompetent, then you don’t need to waste your time trying to convince people of your solutions. Just create those solutions and wait for the state to fail. It doesn’t matter whether you’re trying to build a political movement or just trying to start a business. If you deal with the world as it exists — rather than how you wish it was — you’ll always be more successful. Failure is just the error part of trial and error. And success will come to those who are willing to keep "trialing and erroring" until their vision aligns with the world as it already is. Those who play the long game will get the wealth. And wealth is freedom.

We’re still knee-deep in shutdown mode, so the kids and I have been shaking things up to inject some fun into our evenings… and absolutely loving the switch-up.Which got me thinking:… Why have we all bought into the idea that bath / dinner / bed is the “right” way to do night times (especially if it’s not working for you and your family)?… Who wrote the rules about what our lives are “supposed” to look like?… And what other areas of our lives are we subconsciously following these “rules” when there might be a better (and more fun) alternative? This episode is a short one, but it’s a biggie. When the shutdown ends, we’ll have a one-of-a-kind opportunity to draw a line in the sand and choose which routines and habits we want to take forward with us, and which ones we want to leave behind. So NOW’s the time to start getting intentional, and thinking about what you want your “new normal” to be...So what’s this conversation REALLY about? How we’ve shaken up our night time routine (and why the kids are having a ball)The big question I’m asking myself, for when this shutdown is all overWhat happens to your brain when you really want to create changeThe truth about self sabotage (and why it keeps happening)Are you attached to what 2020 was *supposed* to be like? Here’s one way to loosen your gripHow to write your own rules for what your life looks likeGetting intentional about creating your “new normal”So if you want to learn how to inject more joy into your day to day life, shed the stuff that’s not serving you, and start creating a new normal… this episode is for you.Links:Ep24: Caring For Your Brain During Times Of Crisis With Allison DaviesThe Conversations With Lisa playlistContinue the conversation with Lisa:Instagram | FacebookYou can quote me on that:“I don't want 2020 to be one of those years that just gets written off.” - Lisa CorduffWant to help me out?Leave a review (um, and a hefty handful of stars!) here.

We can talk marketing until we're blue in the face.... but what does it REALLY mean for your business? Honestly, it means how do you consistently get found by ideal clients who will pay you money which will change your family's life. So how DO you get free leads for your business? INBOUND MARKETING Industry jargon for having leads find you OR raise their hand for what you offer For those of us who are still *slightly* terrified of coming across pushy, it's a passive form of marketing where you put something out into the world and wait to get found my your perfect peeps. I'm sure you can already see the catch: it's not a quick fix nor a way to make cash fast. But although it takes exponentially longer to get going, the results of inbound marketing live on and exponentially grow. In today's episode, I break down the two pillars of inbound marketing (you're likely already doing at least one of them): content marketing + SEO. Content Marketing Content Marketing is where you showcase your talent, your depth of knowledge and breadth of experience to draw your ideal peeps in. Check out these two past episodes to learn how to crush content marketing in 2019: 1. Episode #013: How to Execute a Content Marketing Plan Well 2. Episode #018: Content Marketing for Dummies with Erin Olilla SEO SEO (search engine optimization) is how you get found on Google and other search engines, which equals FREE traffic. Here are some baby steps I'd recommend starting with to get SEO working for your business. If you have a DIY website platform like Wix, Squarespace or Weebly, they have built-in tools on the page settings to fill out your Page Title, Description and keywords. Make sure every page you have on their, blog posts included, has this filled out. If you use Wordpress, get the Yoast plugin to fill out this information. It also grades your readability, shows you a preview of how it will look in Google and how effective your keywords are. Focus on using keywords your ideal client will be searching for in your content and on the copy on your website. Download my Marketing Metric spreadsheet and start tracking where you rank for keywords important to you, so you can see how your efforts are paying off each month. Make sure you have both Google Analytics + Google Console installed on your website. Here are instructions for how to set those up. So NOW you know how to start driving free traffic to your site, but THEN WHAT??? Here's how to capitalize on your traffic: Make sure you have a way to capture their email addresses with an optin and form on your site (preferably all of the pages on your site). Nurture the people who join your list until they're ready to buy. For some people, they'll buy everything; others will wait years before making a move. Treat them all equally. Drive them to other social media channels that you are active on so they get to know you faster (which increase the know-like-trust factor). If nothing else, make sure to follow up with them within 1-3 days, or they'll forget they even found you. Look at your biggest traffic source and focus on that "funnel" first. Make people feel welcome and introduce them to your house party through a welcome sequence. Inbound marketing, here you come!!! Get get 'em tiger!

The 1st Component: CLEAR JOB DESCRIPTIONS It has to be written up. Making a clear job description for each team member has to be in writing – enumerate the tasks for clarity and better understanding. I endorse a great book called ‘The E-Myth’ by Michael Gerber. It’s a fantastic book to read if you are a business owner. The author talks about the importance of having an organisational chart, applying to every single business. Overview of Departments: CEO Responsible for setting the vision and direction of the business An excellent leader Thinks strategically about the future of the business Marketing Department Takes care of effective branding and presence of the business Website maintenance as you need a method to reach new clients Open up new markets The brain of marketing This position needs energy to take charge of the marketing tasks Innovative I’d like to call it the Production Line of the business Sales Department They find the clients Highly essential in growing the business Operations Ensures every single task on your farms gets DONE Ensures all systems are functional and effective| Human Resource This is not applicable for small farms but certainly becomes an area as you get bigger The department that looks after the team Makes sure everyone is happy They facilitate performance reviews Takes care of the recruitment and motivation systems Manages training systems IT Department Sets up email addresses for each team member Makes sure everyone can communicate and connect Maintains all technical systems Administration Department Administration behind the book work Filing They work hand-in-hand with the Operations team Takes care of all the back-office tasks They are the behind-the-scene machine of a business Finance Department Responsible for budgeting All other business financial matters It is imperative that you split out these roles and get a lot of clarity as to what are all the tasks that need to be done to run your farming business. What typically occurs is, you being the business owner are also the busiest person doing everything that nothing really gets done well. And I find it humorous because you get to a stage where you feel you cannot do everything OR, You hire someone but not sure what you want them to do, resulting to them making a lot of mistakes And then, You start fixing all the mistakes and end up making a decision that no one can do the tasks as well as you. You take back all the jobs you have delegated which causes chaos because you failed to sit down and actually write out a list. THE REAL FIX: Have a concrete list. Write it out clearly. What tasks do you want team/family members to do for you? How do you want the tasks done? When do you expect results? Break the business up. Bring accountability and responsibility to certain components in running your business. START YOUR LIST NOW! Once you have your tasks list, think of a team/family member best suited for the work and write the name next to it. This is the easiest method to create a job description. The 2nd Component: GWC G – they Get it W – they Want it C – they have the Capacity to do it In running a world-class team, it is critical to make sure that the person you choose for each job ‘gets and understands’ the details of each task. I have had a number of examples on this in my career in running businesses and working with team members. Once I delegated a detailed job to a person that has an outgoing personality. This person doesn’t get detail. I was giving the wrong task but also this person may be way more suited in Marketing, as an example. Lesson here is, align the job description to the right personality. Kolbe.com is a fantastic tool I highly recommend. Get the team member do a personality profile. The results will tell you if a person is outgoing or an introvert, detail-oriented or people-oriented, and it effectively helps you to determine if the person gets it and wants it. It is pointless giving someone a job they do not want and then later on find out that there is a passionate person out there to do the job for you. In my case, I do not like doing the books for my business. This is why I outsource to someone who will do it. Someone who loves doing the books, wants it, is really good at it and can do the job quickly. Now on capacity, I make sure I do not overload their back. Never assign a task to someone who does not really have room to do it. Obviously because when they do not have the capacity, the results are substandard. So… Now that you have identified the person who gets the job, wants the job, has the capacity to do the job – It is critical that they are aligned with the values within your business. Take some time to listen to my podcast on getting more organized. I talked about having a strategic plan and getting clarity on your values. A lot of issues in business are actually related to you hiring team members that are not aligned to your business values. Do your part – document your values. Have clarity and documentation of your values. For example, reporting to work on time is one of your business values. This is already very clear but you have to make sure the team member also clearly understands and most importantly, shares the same value. For the documentation part, make sure it is written somewhere in the job description. The 3rd Component: SET VERY CLEAR EXPECTATIONS Honestly, how do you feel when your expectations are not met? In a performance review, how would you rate a team member who does not meet work expectations? A world-class business team sets very clear expectations and take note that this has to be a two-way relationship. Being the business owner, you have to clarify what you expect from the team and vice-versa. Again, write it down. With your expectations written down, it makes it easier to deal with conflicts for existing members, and it clarifies expectations for the new hires. As an example, in a case where I am employing a new team member, I would be clear right at the onset about the following: I want you to arrive 10 minutes before work starts I want you to not touch social media during work hours Personal calls have to be made during breaks only Every Friday, summarise what you have done for the week Every Monday, plan your week out Update your task list regularly and prioritise Notice the clarity of expectations in the given example. As a business owner, you would like your team members to maximize the week and this happens when you clearly tell them what you want, as they are not mind-readers. CLEAR COMMUNICATION GETS EVERYONE ON THE SAME PAGE. The 4th Component: HAVE A WEEKLY, QUARTERLY and YEARLY PLANNING When was the last time you went out on a team-building activity? Or strategy-planning? Get away with your team for: 1-2 days a year Half a day to a day every quarter At least 30 minutes every week Brainstorm time Ask the questions: What are our goals for the year? What do we want to achieve on a yearly basis? What strategies could we keep or replace to achieve our goals? Try the “rapid fire” activity. This is when you get to ask each of your team members in random order about your goals and they have to have an immediate answer. You would easily find out who among the team members do not know what your 9-year goals are, your next 12 months, etc. Everyone in the team has to know your business goals by heart. Imagine driving without any direction, you may still be able to continuously drive But, Where will you end up? It is very crucial for a team/family member to know your business goals, otherwise, those who do not will just wing it. Track your success. How did we go last week? Last quarter? Then plan strategically. What can we do better? What are we going to focus on next week? Are there any issues we need to resolve? This is the very time that team members should practice open communication and honesty. The more you communicate, the smoother your team works. There is more energy, more clarity, more professionalism in the team. As a business owner, you cannot go wrong doing this because, if you want to be a profitable farmer – YOUR TEAM IS YOUR BIGGEST ASSET And ultimately, often your biggest expense, so – If you can help your team become more productive, you will generate more profitability. Get more out of your team – having ONE great team member will beat THREE average. The 5th Component: PUT SYSTEMS IN PLACE AND TRAIN YOUR TEAM Food for thought: You are better off training a team member and they leave, then not training them and they stay. The very first thing you should do, even before training, is to put some basic systems in place. The top producing farmers that we currently work with have systems for everything: Systems for operational duties Systems for books and finance Systems for administration Systems for maintenance A system is simply a checklist of what needs to get done into the standard that you want as the business owner. The reality is, if you don’t put up systems in place, then the team members wing it. And if they wing it – Mistakes are made in tasks, it costs you time fixing errors - which ultimately leads to reduced profitability. THE REAL FIX: Get systems in place Train the team on the systems Maintain the systems Keep systems up-to-date THE RESULT: Highly efficient team Tasks are accurately completed in a timely manner Team members become more energetic You embrace new learnings and continue to look at what you need to continuously train the team on You become a master in delegating tasks You become overly comfortable in handing out the control and letting others do the work for you You can never run a freedom farm if you are doing everything yourself. You have to slowly let go… As a matter of fact, the most successful farming business owners slowly hand over every task that they are doing on their farm to team/family members. With the systems and proper training in place, they are able to maximise the team. The 6th Component: REWARD and RECOGNISE YOUR TEAM. PROVIDE FEEDBACK. LOOK FOR PRAISE Notice that in this current generation, service surveys are just everywhere. From text messaging to online surveys, hard-copy feedback sheet and of course, the infamous social media. It just proves the power of giving feedback. You do need to go out of your way and give that feedback to each team member for a job well done. A lot of farmers are a little bit guilty about this. Unfortunately, farmers that I meet are pretty hard on themselves. Not to blame them completely because they were brought up in a very tough environment and because they are hard on themselves, they become hard on their family or team members (this is just a bit of generalisation from me). As a business owner, you would want to be the very first person to praise your team. Just imagine how doing so extensively motivates and renews the energy of your team. As a business owner, you would want your team members to see where they can improve. Then use the systems to train them. Make them feel that you’ve got their back! I grew up in a farming community and looking back, there was not a lot of reward and recognition going on. In my career as a business coach for 19 years now, I have seen the huge impact on business owners when they focus on rewards and recognition to teams and team members. So, take the time to provide feedback – Both positive and negative. The 7th Component: YOU NEED TO TRUST Where there is no trust, there is no team. I remember when I was younger and played Rugby Union, was always in the forwards then moved to the backs when I got older. I was a breakaway – meaning I was like a defender and covered mistakes being made at the backs. My goal was to defend and also be there in attack. But later in my career, I moved out into the backline and became an inside centre. I was so busy focusing on helping out others do their jobs having this breakaway mentality. Until I realised I was the one creating the holes in the backline. I was the one who allowed people to break through the backline and score thrice. This is all because I wasn’t trusting the people around me. The loss of trust is very true in the business world. There are those who hand team members tasks but really do not trust that they will do the task well or might do it the exact same way they do. As a result… They become controlling as a business owner. You can never grow as a world-class company if you are like that. You have to be comfortable handing over tasks to others and TRUST them to do the work. TRUST that they can perform the same way you do, if not better. Besides, how can you run a freedom farm if you are doing all the tasks yourself? This is why you have to: LET GO SLOWLY DELEGATE WITH TRUST GRADUALLY HAND OVER RESPONSIBILITY Because of trust, some of our top performing farmers in our coaching groups now go on holidays during the busiest times of the year. 3-4 weeks of vacation and come back to see for themselves that their team actually has done a better job than what they could. THE ULTIMATE OBJECTIVE OF BEING A WORLD-CLASS FARMING BUSINESS OWNER IS NOT ABOUT BEING THE BUSIEST PERSON But, BEING THE MOST LAID-BACK AND HIGH YIELDING BUSINESS OWNER Let go of your fear of control – A lot of people fear that when they hire someone else, they make less money – Hang on… TIME IS YOUR MOST VALUABLE ASSET …IT IS OKAY TO LET GO. _________________________________________________________________________ For your quick reference – the 7 Components are: Clear Job Descriptions GWC Set Clear Expectations Have a system for yearly, quarterly, weekly Planning and Communication. Put Systems in place and Train your team Reward and recognize your team. 非常感谢【张仕泓-Sammy】对本文稿的贡献!正确率很高,特此表扬!He Yang: An annual music report says music sales in China rose 63.8% in 2015. What’s contributed to this seemingly dramatic rise in revenue? Does it mean that China’s music market is moving to a paid model? Guys, tell me more about what’s behind this glamorous figure.Yu Yang: The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry’s annual music report says that music sales in China rose 63.8% percent in 2015, to $170 million in total, which is “a tremendous increase”. And the report says China tops the list for record companies. As we know, China’s music market witnessed the rampant piracy in the past, but it seems the situation has changed. He Yang: But in emerging markets, we can’t rival with what the Americans have paid for music, for example, last year, but still, I mean this is kind of a new thing. (Yeah). You know, people are paying for stuff online, that is… (That’s a good start?) I guess so.Ryan: You know, I disagree with both of you. Because when I first came to China, which was 2013, someone introduced me to QQ music, and l was like OMG, (laughing), I’ve can totally listen to all my jams, and it’s free! You know, before I was using a kind of streaming service, and I was paying a monthly fee too to listen er… as many…as much music as I wanted, but I was paying for it. So when I found out about the QQ music, I was so excited. But according to the IFPI’s report, the music industry achieved a key milestone in 2015 when digital became the primary revenue stream for recording music worldwide, overtaking sales of physical formats for the first time. So here we are seeing obviously physical formats are going kind of away, and the world is going to a digital platform and so I think we’re gonna see that government and industries will start to regulate that on more, more sale.He Yang: Yeah, that’s true and I think it’s quite interesting to see that, while, people want music, people want audio products, and you want Round Table, and so it’s about how do you monetize through what medium, I suppose, and now I think, when you look at the western model, with especially you know, with Spotify, with iTunes, you see there is a way to make money from people downloading music online and do you think this is kind of happening in China right now?Ryan: I would say yes. Yan Xiaohong, deputy director of the copyright administration, recently said more than 2.2 million illegal songs had been removed within the two months of an issuance of kind of removal of copyright-infringement content, which I can personally say I experienced that I remember I was using QQ music maybe like a year ago and this new Justin Bieber album came out. I am ashamed to say I was curious, guys. I was curious. So… (Now, you’ve loved it.) Ah ha, I… I…Well, Okay, So I can stream it. I can listen to it. No actually, no, I couldn&`&t listen to it. I couldn&`&t stream it. I had to… I couldn&`&t use the QQ music to actually play the song, but it was there and gave me this offer and saying: “Hey, do you want pay for it?” I was like no way, dude, Justin Bieber, I am not…haha (Not paying for him?) Any Bieber’s fans out there, this is just my personal preference. But I don’t think I would pay for a Justin Bieber song. But, yeah, so I, I would say like, definitely, they are cracking down on these free music sites. Yu Yang: Yeah, besides the government’s involvement, I think the Chinese technic giants like Tencent and Alibaba is making their way to a paid model, like Tencent, it first launched a paid service in 2008, and I think China has been making efforts to cracking down on the music piracy for years, but now I think this time is kind of different with the level of engagement by the government and major Chinese companies. He Yang: Yeah, I think we’re seeing a bit of change here from the government’s seriousness and determination to sort of clean up the piracy online. And also, I think a report earlier last year actually said that those who were born after the 1990s are more inclined to pay for music online or stuff online that previously used to be free. And I think that’s an important education to people, ‘cause (Yes) the Internet is a great place for free stuff, but have you ever thought about the people that put so much effort and creativity into what you are getting for free. It’s not right. Those people need to be rewarded. (Yeah, they deserve credit.)Ryan: I am in. I am right there with you, they…they deserve rewards for their work. He Yang: Yeah, certainly, and Lexie says, she is on Wechat says, He Yang, after listening to your brain wash of… you need to listen to the live show, I am finally here, and she says that there are some songs on QQ music can no longer be found either.
