I mamy to! Wreszcie udało się nam nagrać odcinek o serii The Walking Dead. Zrobiliśmy to w ramach naszego spin-offu, czyli No Movie Ci, a w odcinku do Krzyśka dołączył Rafał "Szycha" Szychowski z podcastu Stary Gracz. Wszystko dlatego, że 31 października 2025 minęło 15 lat o światowej premiery pierwszego odcinka The Walking Dead. On this week's Random Encounter, we're taking a look at two very different narrative adventures!Back in the 2010s, Telltale Games reinvented the point-and-click adventure game with The Walking Dead, introducing new multiple paths and lasting choices. Unfortunately, they spread themselves a little too thin, and the studio closed. Thankfully, many of those developers went off to create their own studios, and that is how we got Dispatch, the new episodic superhero adventure game! Tom has played the entire season and can confidently say that it reaches, and maybe even exceeds, the heights of Telltale's output at its prime. Then, Audra is here with an indie narrative visual novel inspired by Nintendo DS Japanese adventure games like Ace Attorney and Hotel Dusk: Detective Instinct: Farewell, My Beloved. This looks to be a classic case of, "Well, if the developer won't make any more of the games we like, we're going to do it ourselves!" In this detective game, you and your investigative partner explore crime scenes and interrogate witnesses to uncover the perpetrators of a shocking murder (maybe, you'll have to follow the clues to find out)Featuring: Jono Logan, Audra Bowling, and Tom Naylor; Edited by Jono LoganGet in Touch:RPGFan.comRPGFan ShopEmail us: podcast@rpgfan.comTwitter: @rpgfancomBluesky: @rpgfan.bsky.socialInstagram: @rpgfancomThreads: @rpgfancomFacebook: rpgfancomTwitch: rpgfancomThis Episode's Related Links:DispatchDetective Instinct: Farewell, My Beloved

- Trailer del documental: https://youtu.be/LyAQpDB432g - Web del documental: https://lv2.es Learn more about your ad choices. Happy Thanksgiving! It's Turkey Day, dammit, and you're listening to Jay of the Dead's New Horror Movies, The Wild Turkey of Horror Movie Podcasts! Here in Episode 172, your hosts Jay of the Dead and Mister Watson endeavor to elicit an environment of the last Thursday in November in America! That's right! Upon listening to this decadent yet delectable detritus, drizzled with down-home, delightful domestication, you will be whisked away (not folded nor mixed), but whisked away into an audio podcast that blends 2025 New Horror Movie reviews, some faint comedy, and a dinner party vibe with A New Horror Movies Thanksgiving — With Jay of the Dead and Mister Watson. Now then, if you choose to join us for this audiophile's feast, then you will hear reviews of the following, 2025 New Horror Movies. And please note: We are most careful NOT to reveal any spoilers; so even if you have not seen these films yet, you are in good, safe hands with Mister Watson and Jay of the Dead! The films we review during this episode are A Desert (2025), HIM (2025), Marshmallow (2025), The Strangers: Chapter 2 (2025), Vicious (2025), Bone Lake (2025), MONSTER ISLAND (2025), Good Boy (2025), The Ugly Stepsister (2025), The Long Walk (2025), and for The Final Cut segment, we bring you a must-see Horror flick from last year, Pater Noster and the Mission of Light (2024). And in addition to these reviews, you will hear Jay of the Dead explain exactly what he means when referring to a film as a "cinematic oddity," making a distinction between intentionally bizarre films versus movies that just wind up being bonkers and "out there." Mister Watson and Jay have an in-depth discussion about the appropriate approach for dealing with others who break social norms. And over dinner, Watson regales us with a tale from 2015 when Jay of the Dead used his podcaster's siren song to lead Dustin astray with a mermaid on date night! Also, Jay tries to persuade Watson to stop feeding his "good, little, chonky boys" (raccoons) before one of them eats his face off. And in a rare and special treat, Mister Watson tells us the remarkable true story of Hachiko the dog. Plus, we have some very special segments pertaining to Thanksgiving-related trivia, Thanksgiving Cooking With Cousin Kellie and Jay's Necro-MOM-icon in West Virginia, and the next chapters in the Dave Becker baler saga! Come get a taste! We think you'll like it! And if you like hearing Jay and Watson mix it up together, be sure you check out our sister Horror show — Another Badass Horror Podcast — titled, Horror Movie Weekly. The show's collective is Invasion Of The Body Snatchers meets The Walking Dead meets Star Trek's The Borg, only resistance actually hurts them, nobody was viciously torn apart, and their consciousness isn't replaced but shared by the world's population.

It's another one of those episodes that's maybe not as well loved as most WD eps, right? So I'm glad to have Kelsey guesting with me, who was particularly interested in talking about this one, and we really dug into it.  Mentioned: Kelsey's podcast They Did What?! LightSpeed VT: https://www.lightspeedvt.com/ Dropping Bombs Podcast: https://www.droppingbombs.com/ Ed Tommasi (Award Winning Director) brings explosive energy to this electric Dropping Bombs episode, revealing how he went from food stamps in a trailer park to directing campaigns for Marvel, Disney, NFL, Amazon and more. The chief creative officer behind Opin—the agency transforming stale marketing into cinematic experiences—drops truth bombs about cold-calling his way to The Walking Dead franchise, selling six companies including multiple 7-figure exits, and building In God We Must into the largest Christian streetwear brand. But this isn't just another success story. Ed unleashes the real framework: authentic energy over fake sales tactics, paying the price for what you want or watching it become the sacrifice, and embracing the "but God" mentality that conquered cancer and fueled his relentless rise. From speaking on faith to designing conversation-starter apparel, Ed's mission transcends profit—he's planting seeds and changing perspectives one interaction at a time. If you're ready to ditch excuses, embrace authentic hustle, and understand why gratitude is your secret weapon, this episode is your wake-up call to transform everything.

At first blush, the plots of many horror movies don't seem particularly appealing. Take “The Shining”: A murderous psychopath tries to kill his family in a haunted, secluded hotel. But horror movies have had devoted fans for as long as they've been around, and lately, scary movies and television shows like “Sinners” or “The Walking Dead” have made a big splash. Why? What draws us to horror? And why are some people more thrill-seeking or morbidly curious than others? Host Flora Lichtman talks with two psychologists on opposite poles of horror fandom to flesh out some of the answers: horrorphile and behavioral scientist Coltan Scriver, and psychology professor Ken Carter, who's horrified by horror. Guests: Dr. Ken Carter is a psychology professor at Emory University and the author of Buzz!: Inside the Minds of Thrill-Seekers, Daredevils, and Adrenaline Junkies. Dr. Coltan Scrivner is a behavioral scientist at Arizona State University and the author of Morbidly Curious: A Scientist Explains Why We Can't Look Away. Transcripts for each episode are available within 1-3 days at sciencefriday.com.
