TNR Gold Executive Chairman Kirill Klip joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the completion of a strategic investment by Altius Minerals, a development that significantly strengthens the company's financial position and reinforces its long-term royalty-driven growth strategy. Klip explained that Altius, one of Canada's leading royalty companies, acquired 23.5 million TNR Gold shares for approximately C$4.2 million. The investment brings a major industry participant with a market capitalization of roughly C$3.2 billion into TNR Gold's shareholder base and serves as a strong endorsement of the company's portfolio, management team, and long-term vision. The market responded positively to the announcement, with TNR Gold's share price experiencing significant appreciation over the past year. Klip said investor interest reflects growing recognition of the company's royalty portfolio and the potential cash flow opportunities associated with its key assets. Management remains focused on maximizing royalty-related revenue while evaluating additional shareholder-friendly initiatives, including the possibility of implementing a normal course issuer bid and exploring a future dividend policy, subject to board and regulatory approvals. A key topic of discussion was the Mariana Lithium Project in Argentina, where operator Ganfeng Lithium has successfully exported its first shipment of lithium chloride. This milestone marks an important transition for the project from development into commercial operations and positions TNR Gold to begin receiving royalty revenue. Klip expressed optimism about the timing of initial payments, noting that the company expects its first royalty payment from Mariana in the near term. The commencement of royalty income would represent a major milestone for TNR Gold, providing tangible validation of its royalty model and potentially establishing a new source of recurring cash flow. The conversation also covered progress at the Los Azules copper project, one of the largest undeveloped copper projects in the world. Operated by McEwen Copper, the project continues to advance toward a potential final investment decision as demand for copper remains strong due to global electrification, renewable energy infrastructure, and electric vehicle adoption trends. TNR Gold holds a royalty interest in Los Azules, providing shareholders with exposure to a major long-term copper development opportunity. In addition, Klip provided an update on the company's Shotgun Gold Project in Alaska, where TNR Gold is actively seeking a strategic partner to help accelerate exploration efforts and expand the project's resource base. Management believes the project offers significant upside potential in a strong gold market environment and could become another important value driver within the company's portfolio. #proactiveinvestors #tnrgoldcorp #tsxv #tnr #mcewenmining #mining #losazulesproject #TNRGold #McEwenCopper #LosAzules #Copper #AltiusMinerals #MiningRoyalties #CriticalMinerals #CopperMining #Lithium #GoldMining #EnergyTransition #MiningInvestment #ResourceStocks
TNR Gold Executive Chairman Kirill Klip joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss several important developments shaping the company's growth strategy, including a strategic investment by Altius Minerals and the continued advancement of the Los Azules copper project in Argentina. Klip explained that Altius has acquired a 9.9% strategic stake in TNR Gold, describing the move as a strong endorsement of both the company's long-term direction and the strength of its royalty portfolio. According to Klip, the investment not only enhances TNR Gold's profile within the mining and royalty sectors, but also increases market awareness of the company's broader asset base, including its Shotgun Gold project in Alaska. The discussion also focused on progress at McEwen Copper's Los Azules project, where TNR Gold maintains a net smelter return royalty interest. Klip highlighted recent developments designed to support the project's advancement, including the appointment of Société Générale to assist with arranging project debt financing. He also noted the possibility of a future public listing for McEwen Copper, a move that could create additional visibility and funding opportunities for the asset. Further attention was given to the involvement of Rio Tinto through its Nuton technology venture and the potential for the global mining giant to increase its participation in the Los Azules project. Klip emphasized Argentina's recently implemented RIGI investment framework, saying the initiative creates improved long-term fiscal and legal stability that could make the country increasingly attractive for major mining investments and project development. One of the most significant highlights discussed was the project's long-term production potential and mine life outlook. Klip pointed to estimates suggesting a mine life of approximately 21 years, with potential annual production exceeding 200,000 tonnes of London Metal Exchange copper plate in the first 5 years and averaging 148,000 tonnes annually. He further noted that the implementation of Rio Tinto's Nuton technology could significantly enhance resource recovery and potentially extend the mine's operating life by an additional 33 years, further strengthening the long-term value proposition of the project. #proactiveinvestors #tnrgoldcorp #tsxv #tnr #mcewenmining #mining #losazulesproject #TNRGold #McEwenCopper #LosAzules #Copper #Mining #ArgentinaMining #CriticalMinerals #ResourceDevelopment #MiningStocks
TNR Gold Corp (TSX-V:TNR, FRA:TNW, OTC:TRRXF) executive chairman Kirill Klip joined Proactive's Stephen Gunnion after the company secured conditional TSX Venture Exchange approval for a strategic C$4.2 million investment from Altius Minerals. Altius will acquire 23.5 million shares, with Klip calling the deal a “very important milestone” that validates TNR Gold's royalty-focused strategy and long-term vision. Klip also highlighted progress across the company's royalty portfolio, including first lithium chloride exports from Ganfeng's Mariana project in Argentina, where royalty payments are expected soon. He also discussed financing and development momentum at the Los Azules copper project, alongside TNR Gold's longer-term plans for stronger cash flow, potential share buybacks and dividends. The interview concluded with an update on the Shotgun Gold project in Alaska, where TNR Gold is seeking a major mining partner to accelerate growth. #TNRGold #KirillKlip #AltiusMinerals #MiningStocks #Lithium #Copper #Gold #RoyaltyCompanies #MarianaLithium #LosAzules #RioTinto #Ganfeng #TSXV #MiningNews #InvestorNews

Today, we are breaking down Altius Minerals, a Canadian royalty company that stands apart from the precious metals and oil and gas names that usually define the category. 17 people in Newfoundland control royalties over Canadian potash mines that supply 90 percent of the potash used in the US, along with 2.9 gigawatts of operating renewable power. I am joined by Luke Bridgeman, portfolio manager at Hosking Partners based in London. We start with Brian Dalton founding the business in a university dorm 29 years ago and how the company built its edge through a project generation model that turned $13 million of spend into $200 million of equity proceeds while keeping the royalties. We cover why Altius focuses on base metals rather than precious metals, how it extended the royalty structure into renewables where there is no land to claim, how countercyclical capital deployment has shaped nearly every important decision in the company's history, and what it means to run a $2 billion business with only 17 employees. Please enjoy this breakdown of Altius Minerals. This week's stories: *Bartonella Hides in Cat Scratches — and It Might Be Why You Feel Like Garbage A stealth bacterial infection transmitted by everyday cat scratches and flea dirt has been quietly linked to chronic fatigue, brain fog, and neurological symptoms for decades. Dave breaks down how Bartonella slips past standard testing, why it's almost never on a conventional doctor's radar, and the specific PCR protocol you need to actually find it. Sources: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/ *High Tyrosine Levels May Be Cutting Years Off Men's Lives A Mendelian randomization study of 270,000 UK Biobank participants found that elevated tyrosine is causally linked to nearly a full year of lost lifespan in men — with zero effect in women. The culprit appears to be an inflammatory oxidation pathway that men metabolize very differently. Dave examines what this means for every guy stacking L-tyrosine nootropics or eating high-protein keto. Dave covers the mechanism, who benefits most (screen workers, TBI recovery, gamers), and how to find a provider. Dave breaks down why this combo works when either ingredient alone doesn't. Dave makes the case for building a daily scent ritual. TNR Gold Corp (TSX-V:TNR, FRA:TNW, OTC:TRRXF) executive chairman Kirill Klip talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company's latest strategic milestone following a C$4.2 million investment from Altius Minerals, a major Canadian royalty company. Klip described the investment as a strong endorsement of TNR Gold's long-term strategy, noting that Altius has taken a non-control position of 23.5 million shares. He said: “It's a strategic non-control position that signals confidence in our company,” highlighting the significance of backing from a well-established player in the mining royalty sector. The announcement triggered a strong market response, with TNR Gold's share price rising 30% following the news. Klip pointed to this as validation of the company's corporate development strategy and growing recognition of its royalty portfolio. He also outlined how the investment strengthens TNR Gold's financial position, enabling it to advance its goal of becoming a leading green energy metals royalty and gold company. The company is now focused on expanding its royalty holdings and delivering shareholder returns through potential buybacks and future dividends. Looking ahead, Klip noted that TNR Gold expects to begin receiving royalty payments in the near term, supported by production progress at its Mariana Lithium project, while continued developments at Los Azules and other assets provide additional upside. Jordan Rusche, Founder of Mining Stock Monkey, joins me for an in-depth and nuanced discussion on the recent volatility in oil prices, gold and silver prices, and his approach to valuing precious metals mining stocks and royalty companies; along with which companies he is actively trading in his portfolio. We start out catching up on how the war in the Middle East has spiked the oil price over the past month, allowing savvy energy companies to go out on the forward futures curve and hedge partial amounts of future production at much higher levels. We revisited the value proposition synergies from ongoing business combination of Devon Energy (NYSE: DVN) and Coterra Energy (NYSE: CTRA) which announced an all-stock merger back in February. The business combination will create a leading large-cap shale operator with a high-quality diversified asset base in the Delaware Basin, Permian Basin, Marcellus Shale, and Anadarko Basin. We discussed the additional natural gas assets that will give the pro-forma company better margins, and secondary value lever beyond the rising oil prices. Next we shifted over to some of the valuations in the gold stocks in light of the large corrective moves we saw across the board during the month of March. Jordan breaks down that these big pullbacks have him looking anew at quality development companies, like Rupert Resources Ltd (TSX: RUP) (OTCQX: RUPRF) (FSE:R05), that have dropped precipitously in market cap and share price and are presenting a compelling accumulation environment. He also remains animated by the continued the growth on tap for royalty and streaming companies, highlighting Royal Gold, Inc. (NASDAQ: RGLD) as undervalued on a number of fundamental metrics compared to all their larger peers. Secondly, Jordan highlights that he is able to gain access to copper and other metals by way of investments in Altius Minerals Corporation (TSX: ALS) (OTCQX: ATUSF), Elemental Royalty Corporation (TSXV: ELE) (NASDAQ: ELE), and Orogen Royalties (TSX.V: OGN – OTCQX: OGNNF). We start out reviewing how the geopolitical tensions with the US and Iran have spiked the oil price over the past week, but that he is valuing companies on their fundamental alpha, regardless of the short-term noise in the market from news. We dissected the value proposition synergies from the news announced February 2nd about Devon Energy (NYSE: DVN) and Coterra Energy (NYSE: CTRA) announcing a merger in an all-stock transaction. The business combination will create a leading large-cap shale operator with a high-quality asset base anchored by a premier position in the economic core of the Delaware Basin. Next we shifted over to some of the valuations in the gold producers in his portfolio. Jordan breaks down why he likes larger producers with growth on tap, highlighting the fundamental growth factors for Endeavour Mining plc (TSX:EDV) (OTCQX:EDVMF) (LSE:EDV) and strong full-year 2025 production of 1,209,000 ounces of gold at an AISC of ~1,435/oz; with a H2-2025 dividend of $200m, and >$1bn shareholder returns program. We also followed up on our discussion from earlier this month where he was spot on about some of the operational risks he had cautioned investors about with regards to B2Gold Corp. (TSX: BTO) (NYSE AMERICAN: BTG), that came out of Q4 earnings, and more importantly, FY guidance for 2026. We spend the balance of the discussing diving into why he sees the growth and value proposition as compelling in a couple royalty companies: First, Jordan outlines the growth on tap for Royal Gold, Inc. (NASDAQ: RGLD)over the next couple of years, especially when it comes to some of the long-life assets that came into the company through the acquisition of Sandstorm Gold last year that aren't properly reflected yet due to limitations in using a DCF valuation. Second, Jordan highlights that positioning in Altius Minerals Corporation (TSX: ALS) (OTCQX: ATUSF) allows him to have access to Potash, Lithium, Copper, and Renewable Energy sectors; all through the diversification and reduced risk of a solid royalty company. Silver Range Resources CEO Mike Power joined Steve Darling to discuss the current state of the junior mining financing market and how the company is positioning itself amid what he described as a slow but gradually improving environment. Power characterized the market as “a tale of two markets,” explaining that while overall financing activity has begun to trend upward, a significant portion of junior explorers continue to face severe capital constraints. He noted that more than 20% of junior mining companies are operating with less than $200,000 in funding, describing conditions at that level as “depression territory.” He said Silver Range closely tracks financing trends across the sector, particularly after a proposed deal with Altius stalled in 2023, reinforcing the importance of capital access. “Capital is the oxygen of the business,” Power emphasized, adding that while signs of recovery are emerging, the market is still far from fully healthy. He cautioned that the financing environment may not be “firing on all cylinders” until the second half of 2026. Turning to the company's project portfolio, Power highlighted the East Goldfield project, which is located adjacent to a development site owned by Centerra. He said the project represents a potential near-term exploration opportunity, with an estimated exploration target of between 55,000 and 70,000 ounces of gold based on results from 19 historical drill holes. Power noted that work at East Goldfield is expected to resume in the spring of 2026. Power also discussed the Alamo project, where soil sampling was completed in December and geophysical surveys are planned for the upcoming spring season. The project hosts historic high-grade production and exhibits strong surface mineralization, supporting its potential for future exploration success. Overall, Power said Silver Range remains focused on careful capital management and disciplined project advancement as the junior mining sector works through a prolonged but improving recovery cycle. #proactiveinvestors #silverrangeresources #tsxv #sng #mining #mikepower #nevada #eastgoldfield #JuniorMining #MiningFinance #ExplorationMarket #CapitalMarkets #GoldExploration #EastGoldfield #AlamoProject #PreciousMetals #MiningIndustry #ExplorationStrategy #CapitalDiscipline #MarketOutlook #ResourceDevelopment #ProactiveInvestors

On this week's Stansberry Investor Hour, Dan and Corey welcome Brian Dalton back to the show. Brian is president and CEO of Altius Minerals, a diversified mining royalty and streaming company operating in Canada, the U.S., and Brazil. Brian kicks things off by sharing the basics of Altius Minerals – what the company does, what sets it apart from other natural resource royalty companies, and the option value of its assets. He also talks a bit about his background and how he got his start in prospecting. (1:21) Next, Brian explores the renewable-energy part of the business. Altius took its coal revenues and reinvested those to write royalties on renewable-energy projects, particularly wind and solar. As Brian explains, nearly all of these projects have some aspect involving energy storage. And best of all, renewable energy's resource life is basically "infinite." (15:53) Then, Brian delves into copper. He urges listeners to ignore all of the noise around the metal – from both the "woke" and "antiwoke" sides of the aisle – and to realize that demand is steadily rising. In the short term, he says that investors can really take advantage of volatility and the irrationality of price cycles. But there's also a lot of money to be made long term, as demand isn't going anywhere. "Copper is electricity," Brian notes. Further, he discusses incentivization prices, operating costs, and the future of the industry. (28:59) Finally, Brian talks about nuclear energy's prospects, Altius' history with uranium royalties, and how he makes decisions about Altius' capital allocation. Unlike many other companies, Altius treats share buybacks as if they're competing against external investment opportunities. If the best value in the market is in the assets Altius already owns, and if there's a wide spread between that value and the share price, only then do buybacks happen. (44:50)

The Agents Angle - The World's Premier Football (Soccer) Agent Show
In this special episode of 'The Agents Angle' the focus is firmly on the recent ruling from just 4 days ago at the ECJ (European Court of Justice) in the case of former French international footballer Lassana Diarra* vs FIFA*. With the case being of Belgian origin, the show is joined by Willem Alexander-Devlies (of Altius and ATFIELD Sports Law), an expert on Belgian and European sports law to look further at the ruling and the impact it may have. Whilst some have labeled this ruling as 'Bosman 2.0', 'The Agents Angle' aims to take a pragmatic view on a subject whereby a 'major ruling' that 'will change the landscape of football' MAY not be as 'earthshaking' and an end to the current transfer system as some have said (or hoped). In this podcast episode of Morning Air, John Morales tackles a big question: are sports, especially the Olympics, still worth our time? Joining the conversation is Dr. Bill Thierfelder, president of Belmont Abbey College and a former Olympian, live from Charlotte, North Carolina. Sports and Virtue: A Perfect Match? St. Pope St. John Paul II loved sports. He saw them as a "school of virtue" and a gift from God. So could the Olympics, with their virtuous roots, still be a great example of excellence and faith today, in spite of all the blasphemy we saw in the Opening Ceremony? The Controversy: Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony Dr. Thierfelder talks about the Vatican's reaction to the Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony, which mocked the Last Supper. This outrageous act left you feeling hurt and angry, and that's totally understandable. Dr. Thierfelder argues that it shouldn't take away from the athletes' hard work and dedication, though. A Peek into Olympic History Did you know the Olympic motto "Citius, Altius, Fortius" (Swifter, Higher, Stronger) was inspired by a Catholic priest, Fr. Henri Didon? Dr. Thierfelder shares this neat tidbit, showing how the Olympic spirit is all about lifting humanity and reflecting our God-given potential. Athletes as Faith Role Models Despite the controversy, athletes like Katie Ledecky set positive examples. Ledecky, a devout Catholic, prays the Hail Mary before every swim. Isn't that amazing? Listener Reactions Listeners Tracy and Mike call in to share their thoughts. They've decided to boycott the Olympics in protest. Dr. Thierfelder respects their decision but also talks about the importance of recognizing the good in sports and suggests writing letters to Olympic organizers to voice concerns constructively. Final Thoughts: Be Athletes for Christ Dr. Thierfelder wraps up by encouraging Catholics to stay engaged in the world and embody virtues in everything they do, just like Olympic athletes. He calls for action beyond personal boycotts, advocating for public efforts to uphold respect and virtue everywhere. So, while there are good reasons to question the current state of the Olympics, Dr. Thierfelder believes that focusing on the athletes' virtuous efforts and speaking out can help keep the spirit of the Olympic Games alive. Let's keep our eyes on higher things and remember, as St. Pope St. John Paul II taught, we can all be athletes for Christ. How do you feel about this? Have you decided to boycott the Olympic Games?
On the cusp of a Fed cutting cycle with US labor markets softening and the US election news cycle turning increasingly volatile in the run up to November, we maintain our multi-year bullish outlook on gold and silver. Even if the coming Fed cutting cycle comes with twists and turns given potential post-election US policy changes, we still think gold sits in a prime position. While physical demand in China has cooled for now, structurally bullish drivers including US fiscal deficit concerns, central bank reserve diversification amid de-dollarization, inflation hedging, and simmering geopolitical risk all look set to remain supportive factors for gold and silver. If the Olympics gave out a medal for fan geekdom, Mike "Domi" Domalaog would get gold every time. Domi, as he's known around KCRA 3 and the Hearst Olympic Team, is an encyclopedia of all things Citius, Altius, Fortius, Communiter. (That's the Olympic motto: Faster, Higher, Stronger-Together if you were not blessed with FOUR YEARS of high school Latin as I was.) In our first MEET THE TEAM episode, I'll explain how the Hearst Olympic Team works and the long history Domi and I have of traipsing the world chasing athletes, telling stories, and testing the limits of sleep deprivation. Paris will be Domi's 11th Olympic trip. His work history goes back to the 1996 Atlanta Summer Games. But, his love of the Olympics started decades ago as a kid growing up in Salinas, CA. Domi is one of the smartest people I know and his recall for athletes and their achievements is equal parts impressive and frightening. He's a member of the prestigious Emmy Awards "Silver Circle," awarded for 25+ years in television news. And, he's been a photographer at KCRA for 38 years. In this Dying to Ask: How Domi became an Olympic reporter The responsibility he feels telling young athletes' stories What he's looking forward to the most in Paris

Interview with Brian Dalton, President & CEO of Altius Minerals Corp. Our previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/altius-minerals-als-100m-pa-revenue-from-green-investing-3304Recording date: 15th December 2023Altius Minerals holds an impressive portfolio of royalties and streams, with significant exposure to copper and potash markets set to see major supply shortfalls. Its focused strategy stands to benefit enormously if management's bullish views on commodity supercycle play out.CEO Brian Dalton foresees widening gaps between supply and demand across metals crucial to the green energy transition. Depleting reserves have reduced output from existing mines even as EV growth and global development drive more consumption. The result is drastically underinvestment in new production capacity that will take a commodity price surge to unlock. In copper specifically, champions like Altius argue rapidly expanding electric grid and vehicle manufacturing needs will overwhelm flatlining supply, likely spurring prices past incentive thresholds. As the lowest cost producer globally, operations in Altius' royalty portfolio would stand to dramatically boost volumes should attractive economics exist. While inflation and political turmoil have challenged mining companies, royalty holders avoid much of this exposure. Increased costs for operators generally translate into higher commodity selling prices. With its lucrative 3% Kami iron royalty and 2% Curipamba copper stream among others, an Altius investment offers upside to the coming commodity bull run.Two Key Catalysts ApproachingBeyond the compelling long-term thesis, Altius has potential near-term catalysts ahead. Champion Iron is set to release feasibility study results for its Kami project, where Altius holds a major royalty. The study will detail production scale, guiding valuation.Additionally, AngloGold Ashanti is advancing Silicon, revealed as a Tier-1 gold discovery royalty for Altius. AngloGold executive commentary points to a large, potentially 300-600k ounce annual operation in the making. As realization of this world-class asset grows, Altius' royalty stake may warrant portfolio elevation or market sale.Long-Term Mindset Anchors Volatile MarketsCommodity investors know cycles come and go. Underpinning Altius strategy is exploiting the trough to own stakes in mineral resources themselves. In royalties like Silicon with exploration roots, this philosophy bore fruit in discovery lottery tickets matured patiently into prime assets. Alongside commodity uptrends, such high-conviction positioning stands to thrive.Management doesn't pretend to predict precisely when markets turn. But after years sounding caution, they express growing confidence prices now teeter at levels ushering investment anew. For investors similarly optimistic on global energy decarbonization and electrification trends, Altius offers both broad commodity exposure and idiosyncratic drivers like Kami steelmaking advances. In Altius Minerals, royalty stakes offer asymmetric returns to those aligned with management's supercycle worldview. When cycles swing favorably, royalty economics cannot be beat. As an inflation hedge with tangible backing, commodity royalty vehicles seem destined for greater attention. Altius allow investors to focus fully on the long-term supply/demand dynamics tilting the playing field.—View Altius Minerals' company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/altius-minerals-corporationSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

Expert Brian Dalton shares insights regarding trends in mining and renewables in this episode which is guest-hosted by Brian Leni of JuniorStockReview.com. Brian Dalton is the CEO of Altius Minerals which is celebrating its 25th year as a project generation and royalty company in Canada. In this conversation with Dalton, we cover some of the most pressing issues for companies across the spectrum of the junior resource sector. Environmental permitting, how important is it for project development and where it ranks in terms of risk. Continuing with the environmental theme, nitrogen emissions have sprung up in the mainstream media with the Canadian and Netherland governments instituting restrictions. Dalton gives his view on how this may or may not affect the other 2 vital fertilizers – Phosphorus and Potassium. It is easy to put together a bullish outlook, but is there any way that the expectation falls short?
