If you have been wanting to know more about the mysterious Black Madonna, this episode is for you! Last week I shared the amazing book, The Black Madonna, Mysterious Soul Companion by Stephanie Georgieff. This week we dive deeper as I share this special interview with the author herself and hear about her own miraculous journey with the Black Madonna! Let me tell you a bit about her:  Stephanie Georgieff is a podcaster, author and speaker whose works surround the Divine Feminine through an Anthroposophical lens. She has led workshops and participated in Anthroposophical and Christian Community Conferences in North America, Europe, the United Kingdom and Southern Africa. Author of several books on The Black Madonna and The Virgin of Guadalupe, Georgieff now resides in Southwestern Bulgaria where she is serving with The International Fellowship of Saint John. She works with Roma in the region and manages the foundation guest house which hosts visiting mission teams from North America, the United Kingdom and Europe. Georgieff can be heard through her weekly podcast The Black Madonna Speaks available wherever one accesses their programs. In this episode, she shares her own journey of discovering the Black Madonna and the miraculous things she has learned and witnessed over the years. We also discuss the connection with Mary Magdalene, especially all through the Camino de Santiago in Spain.  I hope this interview inspires you as much as it inspired me!  Ps- if you want the link to her book, click here for the show notes  And to listen to it in her own voice, click here for a FREE 30 Day Trial to Audible.com!    Key Learnings: The Black Madonnas pre-date Christianity. They are based on the original mother image from Africa, the Great Cosmic Mother, the darkness from which all life emerges. The two patron saints of the Camino de Santiago in Spain are St. James the greater and St. Mary Magdalene. James represents the inner path, Mary Magdalene represents the outer path, the sensual path, the path of nature. The Black Madonnas want to be seen. Go on pilgrimage to visit them, and see them with your own eyes. This is the path of the Black Madonna.    “The path of the Black Madonna is a never-ending journey!” Stephanie Georgieff   To purchase the book The Black Madonna – Mysterious Soul Companion, click here Click here to find out more the Black Madonna Speaks podcast and her books I recommend listening to her book! Who is the Black Madonna? Or more appropriately… WHAT is the Black Madonna? Throughout Europe there are several Black Madonnas, images and icons of a Divine Mother with Dark Skin. These images have mysterious origins and even more mysterious stories associated with them, such as healings, miracles and other inexplicable events. In this episode, I share a special book about the Black Madonna by author Stephanie Georgieff, which beautifully combines historical research, mysticism and her own personal journey with the Black Madonna. In my own experience, the Black Madonna makes Herself known when you need Her most, especially during times of great change.  I am so excited to share that next week my special guest will be the author, Stephanie Georgieff!  Ps- if you want the link to the book, click here for the show notes.  And click here for a FREE 30 Day Trial to Audible.com!    Key Learnings: The Black Madonnas are statues and icons that are believed to originate in Africa and have traveled north to areas of Europe. It is believed that St. Luke is the creator of many of these madonnas, though none of them have any markings to indicate who created them. Stephanie Georgieff takes us through her own journey of discovering the Black Madonna, and combines her story with historical research and a profound understanding of mysticism. When the Black Madonna makes Her presence known to you, expect great change and transformation.   “The Black Madonna often emerges in times of great change, to remind us we are not alone.” I recommend listening to this book! Black Madonnas are statues or paintings of the Virgin Mary and the Infant Jesus, where both figures are depicted with dark skin. They can be found both in Catholic and Orthodox countries. There are thought to be at least 450 of them in the world and there are more Vierges Noires documented in France than any other country in the world. Chine visits the Queen of Peace in the convent church of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary in Paris, accompanied by expert guide Dr Christena Cleveland. Friends of the Rosary, Today, December 9, we celebrate the Memorial of Our Lady of Loreto. This title refers to the house where Mary was born in Nazareth, where the Word was made flesh at the Annunciation. Tradition says that a group of angels miraculously transported the Holy House first to Loreto, on the Adriatic Sea coast of Italy, at the end of the thirteenth century. The shrine of Loreto has been known as a Marian center for centuries. By the 14th century, this shrine in Loreto was one of the most famous shrines to Our Lady in Europe. The Shrine of Loreto has always been highly regarded by Popes, and it is under their direct authority and protection. There is a replica of an ancient statue of Our Lady, one of the “Black Madonnas,” which is found there. Ave Maria!Jesus, I Trust In You! Come, Holy Spirit, come! She takes us on her own miraculous journey of discovering the Black Madonna and the path of the Great Goddess, and how she discovered an ancient way to help women heal both physical and emotional issues. In this episode, I share the chapter that Divine Mother asked me to read to you! It is about the Black Madonna of Tindari, a very powerful and healing form of the Black Madonna. For this weeks episode, I will be exploring the theme for Lent this year: the Transformative Nature of Lent with the Black Madonna. The episode will explore the material I have been contemplating and developing for awhile now, why the Black Madonnas of Europe tend to be discovered underground, in caves, buried and so on, and how this relates to many mysteries of the Incarnation and the return of Christ in the Etheric during our times. Friends of the Rosary: As our journey of conversion continues and we prepare to celebrate the nativity of Christ, on this Second Sunday of Advent we also celebrate the Memorial of Our Lady of Loreto. The title of Our Lady of Loreto refers to the holy little house in Nazareth in which Mary was born and took place the Annunciation — the Incarnation when the Word became Flesh. Tradition says that a band of angels took the house from the Holy Land and transported it first to Tersato, Dalmatia in 1291, then to Recanati, Italy in 1294, and finally in the 14th century to Loreto, in the Adriatic Sea coast of Italy, where the Shrine of Loreto has been for centuries. The large basilica is one of the most famous shrines of Our Lady in Europe. One of the ancient statues of “Black Madonnas” is found here. Is there a lineage of goddesses that claims the evolutionary power of female sexuality? And if so, why were they pushed to the shadows and demeaned as harlots? Was Mary Magdalene one of them, and what were her teachings? Looking into esoteric traditions that celebrated the Goddess and her art of sexual alchemy, Dr. Joanna Kujawa sets out on a detective journey to answer these questions to discover Mary Magdalene stands at the center of this investigation. Learn about her portrayal in the gnostic gospels as a teacher in her own right and Jesus' intimate partner, the possibility of her life as an alchemist in Egypt, and her last years in Southern France. Find out if Mary Magdalene was the same person as Mary the Prophetess of Egypt and her connection to the mysterious Cathars, Black Madonnas, and Knights Templar. Whether looking at Mary Magdalene, Sophia, Aphrodite, Inanna, Hathor, Isis, or the goddesses of esoteric Hinduism, Dr. Kujawa finds the archetype of The Other Goddess (https://www.amazon.com/Other-Goddess-Magdalene-Goddesses-Knowledge/dp/1945026847/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=the+other+goddess+kujawa&qid=1677632193&sprefix=the+other+goddess%2Caps%2C92&sr=8-1)-the bearer of the mysteries of sexual alchemy that ends the division between sexuality and spirituality *In this episode: * Who was Mary Magdalene really? Why was Mary Magdalene branded a “harlot” by patriarchy? What is sexual alchemy and how does it play a role in our spiritual awakening? Why is eros a powerful energy that women need to reclaim? Why do archetypes such as Mary Magdalene have so much meaning for women today? How does a tantric relationship potentially initiate a man through feminine eros? Mary Magdalene is portrayed as the first Apostle of Jesus in gnostic texts - is it true? Why scholars often get it wrong about Mary Magdalene. Why is the Gospel of Mary Magdalene relevant today? How do the other Goddesses extend higher consciousness to humanity through eros? Dr Joanna Kujawa is the author of The Other Goddess: Mary Magdalene and the Goddesses of Eros and Secret Knowledge, scholar, and spiritual detective. She received her BA and MA from the Pontifical Institute for Medieval Studies at the University of Toronto, Canada, and her PhD from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. Who was the real Mary Magdalene? Is there a lineage of Goddesses now resurfacing in our collective experience of spirituality? Apart from her writings for academic publications on spiritual travel, Joanna has also had her short stories and essays published through various media and in many prestigious anthologies, including Best Australian Stories, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, She Rises. Friends of the Rosary: Today, we celebrate the Memorial of Our Lady of Loreto. The title of Our Lady of Loreto refers to the Holy House of Loreto, the house in which Mary was born, and in which the Word was made flesh at the Annunciation. Tradition says that angels transported the little house from Palestine to Loreto, in Italy where it has been for centuries. Since the 14th century, this shrine in Loreto is one of the most famous shrines of Our Lady in Europe. Popes and the faithful have always held the Shrine of Loreto in special esteem. A replica of an ancient statue of Our Lady is found there, one of the "Black Madonnas." Ave Maria! Jesus, I Trust In You! The shrines of Black Madonnas are associated with many miracles and are often connected with pre-Christian places of worship of Artemis/Diana, Cybele, Aphrodite/Venus, Demeter, Astarte and Isis. Her new book, “God is a Black Woman,” seeks to recover the sacred, Black feminine, thanks to a pilgrimage she undertook in 2018 to visit some of the 450 Black Madonnas scattered throughout Europe. Christena Cleveland Three photos of Black Madonnas taken by Christena during her pilgrimage. Ancient and revered, the Black Madonnas are sources of strength and miracles. Joan of Arc prayed before the Black Madonna of Moulin. At the Black Madonna of Vichy, thousands of sick came to pray and be comforted. Cleveland. herself, found strength and healing during her pilgrimage. She writes in her book, “Imagination is theology. We can only believe what we can imagine. And our cultural landscape hasn't given us many tools to imagine a non-white, non-male God.” On this week's Big Books and Bold Ideas show, MPR News host Kerri Miller talked with Cleveland about her book, her pilgrimage and why the white, male depiction of God is both constricting and corrosive to seeing the divine in everyone. Rev. Celeste discusses the Black Madonna.  This Goddess has revealed Herself in a plethora of ways - including her powerful energy. Some expressions and historical data of this Divine Feminine are discussed in this episode. Her paintings and statues can be found all over the world and date  back to antiquity (Black Madonna - Wikipedia). Her popular expressions are personified through Our Lady of Guadalupe (Our Lady of Guadalupe - Wikipedia) and Our Lady of Czestochowa (Black Madonna of Częstochowa - Wikipedia). Her earliest expressions are through African goddesses like Isis (The Black Madonna: Isis and The Magdalene: Book IV of The Five Books of Isis ... - Glenn Bogue - Google Books) and Oshun (Oshun - Wikipedia), She reveals to us the many dimensions of the Divine Feminine in nature, and as vulnerability, emerging sexuality, biology and our flowering. The Divine Feminine has been reaching out to Rev. Celeste and Her Energy has her attention. The miracles have not only shown up around the world but in her life as well.Lives have been saved through the Black Madonna as discussed in Allesandro Belloni's book ((12) Healing Journeys with the Black Madonna - YouTube) and experiences. In antiquity, we have Her expressions through Astarte, Ishtar (Ishtar | Goddess, Worship, & Facts | Britannica), the Queen Sheba (Queen of Sheba - Wikipedia) and through the daughter of Jesus, Sarah (Jesus bloodline - Wikipedia), to name a few. After the resurrection, the story is that Mary of Magdala and Jesus, Joseph of Arithmea, the three Mary's, Jesus' brother and the children of Jesus and Mary of Magdala crossed the Mediterranean Sea to the Rome Delta. Though hidden,  stories from the Cathar region of France ( Bérenger Saunière and the Treasure of Rennes-le-Château in the South of France (sacredmysterytours.com)  reveal 12 female disciples as well. Little is known about the children of Jesus because people would not accept the humanity of Jesus, preferring to deify him rather than to acknowledge his Divine Power. Gods and goddesses are depicted in present day as superheroes and fiction while the Divine Energy is within us all. It is said that when the Black Madonnas rise, they will bring back fruit to the tree of life and to Earth. We need that now. When they return, they may not be garbed in an ornate fashion or with a child on the lap, but with the energy of passion and the zest for life. Though she has been distorted in writing, she is deeply connected with the Earth. Her primeval power will not be repressed and will continue to reincarnate until it is integrated in society.  The Sacred Feminine can be seen in the violent outbursts in nature. We have the mastery and primeval power of the Black Madonna. We can wield the healing presence of her daughter, Sarah (Saint Sarah - Wikipedia) to be beneficial to life on this planet. When we recognize this Power, we can recreate the Earth because she is so intrinsically part of us. Listen to the poessay, "Martyr, Bride and Saint" written by Celeste.Support the show (http://paypal.me/rev107)

Licia’s an artist, mentor, speaker, and author of the International #1 bestseller I Am Her Daughter — which we’ll talk about on the show — along with the story of how Licia took a solo pilgrimage to southern France to photograph the elusive Black Madonnas, only to find that in France the Black Madonna is not so elusive after all, and contributed to several mystical experiences that changed her life. MENTIONED IN THE SHOW: On this show we also talk about vision quests, the Holy Grail, Lourdes, shamanism, ancestral memory, Dia de los Muertos, White Buffalo Calf Woman, the many faces of the Goddess — Sibyle, Isis, Amaterasu, Brigid, and Great Mother, the archetypal mothering intelligence in the universe. Join me tonight as I interview Dr. Bob Hieronimus and Laura Cortner discussing their new book, The Secret Life of Lady Liberty; Goddess in the New World,  We'll delve into why Lady Liberty might encourage women to positions of power, and what about it led Bob to a pro-environmental message to slow down man-made climate change.  Further, Evangelical Christians associate "goddess" as being associated with Satan so where does this leave Libertas, our American Goddess?  We'll talk about Belva Lockwood and Victoria Woodhull, the first women who campaigned for President long before Hillary Clinton.  Laura and Bob will share with listeners the association between Libertas and feminists/suffragists who have protested for women's rights. Discover what the Cathars, Mary Magdalene, Black Madonnas  and Joan of Arc have to do with Lady Liberty.   We'll talk about the "flexibility" and symbols of the Statue of Liberty....and much, much more than you've ever thought related to the statue in New York harbor.
