La guerra dei dazi scatenata da Donald Trump getta la crescita globale sotto il 3%: secondo le previsioni appena rilasciate dal Fondo monetario internazionale. Una correzione cumulativa dello 0,8% nel biennio, rispetto a un passo già mediocre, che ora scende ancora di più sotto la media storica (2000-19) del 3,7%. Nel passato recente, due volte la crescita mondiale si è fermata sotto il 3%: nel 2008 e nel 2019, in entrambi i casi, l anno successivo c è stata una recessione. Per l Italia, si passa da una crescita del Pil dello 0,7% nel 2024 a una dello 0,4% nel 2025, con taglio delle stime dello 0,3%. Nel 2025 il Pil mondiale si fermerà al 2,8%, per tornare al 3% nel 2026, con una correzione al ribasso dello 0,8% nel biennio. Per gli Stati Uniti crescita all 1,8%, quasi un punto in meno rispetto alle previsioni di gennaio e al dato del 2024. Messico in recessione. Correzione al ribasso dello 0,6% per la Cina e dello 0,2% per l Eurozona. Per l Italia, si passa da una crescita del Pil dello 0,7% nel 2024 a una dello 0,4% nel 2025, con taglio delle stime dello 0,3%. China Eastern Airlines has resumed direct passenger flights between Shanghai and Budapest.

Just four months ago, China Eastern Airlines 5735 crashed into the side of a mountain with over a hundred passengers and crew on board, killing everyone instantly. But the cause of this tragedy would elude investigators, and is still unknown today. Boeing China says it is cooperating with China Eastern Airlines and will provide support after a Boeing 737 passenger plane crashed on Monday in south China's Guangxi.

A Boeing 737 that plummeted 30,000ft to the ground and burst into flames in China killing all 132 on board suffered a catastrophic 'loss of control event' and plunged to the ground at 350mph in a two-minute death spiral, experts have warned. The China Eastern Airlines flight nosedived before smashing into the hillside and erupting in a huge fireball near the city of Wuzhou in Teng county in the southern province of Guangxi. A rescue official reportedly said the plane had completely disintegrated while a fire sparked by the crash ripped through bamboo and trees before being put out. China Eastern expressed 'deep condolences' after confirming the fatalities.
