This episode of the LDS Mission Podcast features an inspiring interview with Kate Kilpack about her experience serving a service mission after facing unexpected challenges early in her proselyting mission. Kate Killpack is a diligent missionary who started off her mission in June of 2023 in the Mexico City MTC when her mission experience took a couple of unexpected turns. After struggling with OCD scrupulosity and going through a knee surgery, she has figured out that God sometimes has a different plan for His missionaries. Kate is from Lindon, Utah and enjoys hiking, skiing, and being in the sun. In the future she hopes to become an elementary school teacher. Kate shares openly about struggling with OCD scrupulosity and a knee injury in the MTC that led her to transfer to a service mission close to home. She discusses the valuable service she provided in various sites and her journey to regain confidence in herself and her ability to return to proselyting. Kate offers an insightful perspective and advice for any missionary or returned missionary facing unexpected bumps and turns in their mission or post-mission journey. Her powerful testimony of God's perfect plan and the Atonement's ability to transform our weaknesses will uplift and encourage all listeners. As always, if you found this episode helpful, I want to invite you to subscribe if you aren't already, share this episode with your friends and missionaries you know, and write a review. A sound mind is a vital component of a healthy and fulfilling life. This is especially true for Christians, who believe that the mind is a gift from God and should be used to glorify Him. However, many Christians struggle with mental health issues and may not know how to seek help. This is where therapy can be a powerful tool in getting Christians to accept God's plan for their mental health.Therapy is not just for those with diagnosed mental health disorders. It can also be beneficial for those experiencing daily stressors, relationship issues, or simply seeking personal growth. By seeking therapy, Christians can learn to rely on God's strength to overcome their struggles and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their faith. It is important to note that therapy does not replace faith in God, but rather complements it. Seeking help for mental health struggles can be a sign of strength and trust in God's plan for our lives. By taking care of our minds and seeking help when needed, we can better serve and glorify God in all aspects of our lives.Connect with Johnny SandersFor more info on Consulting Services and to listen to Faithfully Engaged Podcast visit www.faithfullyengaged.comIG , FB, X @faithfullyengaged Support the Show.Join the Kingdom Fanatics community! We aren't living through the most stressful times in human history, but as a society we are more “stressed out” than ever before. Many factors play a part, but the solution to feel better may start off as simple as introducing the right amino acid supplements to help our bodies create the feel-good neurotransmitters that we're missing. Vonda Schaefer explains how simple it can be to start feeling better, even sooner than you think.Vonda Schaefer is a Marriage and Family Therapist with a background in nutrition who specializes in stabilizing brain chemistry to reduce the constraints of insomnia, fatigue, depression, substance abuse, ADD, anxiety, panic attacks, eating disorders, sleep issues, and other underlying psychological issues. Her patients make profound improvements to their mood as she helps them discover which building blocks they're missing, restoring balanced hormones with neuronutrient therapy in complement with her therapeutic support. In this episode we discuss:Why we feel more stressed than ever before The impact of environment on our happiness along with our health Lightening the load of toxinsGenetic influence on mood, and how to overcome it Serotonin and sleep Learn more at happifiedlife.com

All heads turned and stared at her as she blurted out the wrong line. “Shhhhh!” they whispered simultaneously. She was so embarassed! That was the first time Apostle Colette ever stood up on stage and said the wrong thing. It wasn't the last time but you know what? She learned how to overcome every failure as a prophet and so can you! What keeps you off of the stage the Lord has given you? As an ambassador of Christ it is important that God's message leaves your lips and reaches the ears of His people. In this episode you are going to learn how to get back on your platform, master your failures, and stand on the stage as the mouth piece of God. “You shouldn't be ashamed of messing up! It's what you do afterwards that you should be proud of” Apostle Colette says. Start using messups and mishaps to your advantage. Turn every struggle into an opportunity to grow past your peak and develop character. You are not just going to face failure... you are going to own it and use it to take you higher. Major surgery always impacts on performance though not necessarily on desire. Some advice from her Ladyship.
The ability to move on after your divorce entails the letting go of the past with its emotional baggage and negative emotions. If you can accomplish this feat then the heavy burdens you have been carrying will lift and you will experience the liberation of freedom: the ability to move unimpeded towards whatever goal you establish for yourself. Ask yourself: what is the price I am paying in holding onto what no longer exists? What is the cost of being chained to my negative emotions and perspective? Is it costing me my health? My peace of mind? My relationship with my children? My happiness? My optimism and enthusiasm for life? I assure you that the price you pay is very, very high and it is you alone, not your ex, that pays that price. How would you feel if you were free of all that negative stuff? Would you feel the world contains new possibilities and opportunities for you? Would you feel light? Would your body and heart stop aching? Would you be able to be happy again? Would you have renewed energy? How would freedom feel for you? Divorce and Life Coach Shelley Stile explains the importance of acceptance and letting go during this episode of Divorce Recovery. For more information on Shelley Stile, visit her website at www.LifeAfterYourDivorce.com.
