In fact, it is my contention that, as a nation, our whole premise of healthcare is wrong. For example, we actually DON'T have “healthcare”… we have “disease care.” That is, people don't to the doctor to “Get Healthy”, they go to the doctor to “treat their disease.” Not only is this approach wrong... it's ineffective. Ineffective because it relies on drugs. Drugs that have negative side-effects. Drugs that don't address the underlying CAUSE. Drugs that are expensive. There has to be a better way. However, before coming up with a better way, we must first identify the problem. On this week's episode I do just that. Specifically, I address five wrong beliefs regarding our current healthcare system. Wrong beliefs that people NEED to be aware of.
