Der Spiegel hat unter der Rubrik "Storykillers" bisher 26 Artikel veröffentlicht - in nur fünf Tagen. Bei einer so massiven Medienkampagne lohnt ein Blick auf die Hintergründe. Ein Kommentar von Thomas Röper.In meinem Artikel mit der Überschrift „Propaganda – US-Biowaffenprogramm: Der Spiegel über „Dreiste Desinformationskampagnen““ habe ich versprochen, dass ich in einem gesonderten Artikel über das Projekt „Forbidden Stories“ berichten werde. Das will ich hier tun und weil das ein komplexes Thema ist, wird dies wieder einer meiner gefürchteten langen Artikel.„Storykillers“Wer im Spiegel-Archiv unter dem Suchbegriff „Storykillers“ sucht, der stellt fest, dass der Spiegel am 14. Februar angefangen hat, unter der Rubrik „Storykillers“ Artikel zu veröffentlichen. Vom 14. bis 18. Februar waren es 26 Artikel, es handelt sich also um eine massive Kampagne des Spiegel. Daher schauen wir uns einmal an, was dahinter steckt.Der Spiegel schreibt über „Storykillers“:„Desinformation, Propaganda und Cyber-Angriffe auf Journalistinnen und Journalisten nehmen seit Jahren zu. Die gemeinnützige Investigativredaktion Forbidden Stories rief deshalb das internationale Rechercheprojekt »Storykillers« ins Leben, an dem in Deutschland SPIEGEL, »Zeit« und ZDF beteiligt waren. Anlass für die Recherchen war der Mord an der indischen Journalistin und Aktivistin Gauri Lankesh. Sie wurde von Fundamentalisten erschossen. Über Jahre war sie Feindbild von Extremisten, es wurden im Internet Lügen über sie verbreiten, sie wurde bedroht und verunglimpft.“Auch auf Wikipedia erfahren wir über „Forbidden Stories“:„Forbidden Stories ist ein journalistisches Netzwerk, das Recherchen von bedrohten oder ermordeten Journalisten aufgreift und weiterführt.“Welche Journalisten schützenswert sindDas klingt vorbildlich, denn der Schutz der Arbeit von Journalisten ist ein sehr wichtiges Thema. Und tatsächlich scheint „Forbidden Stories“ zu dem Zweck gegründet worden zu sein, denn die auf deren Seite genannten wichtigsten Projekte beschäftigen sich mit im mexikanischen Drogenkrieg ermordeten Journalisten oder auch mit der auf Malta ermordeten Journalistin Daphne Caruana, die zuvor Korruption in der maltesischen Regierung aufgedeckt hat.Ich will nichts unterstellen, vielleicht wurde das Projekt „Forbidden Stories“ wirklich von idealistischen Journalisten gegründet, denen der Schutz kritischer Journalisten wichtig war. Gegen Anfeindungen im Netz wehrt sich die ehemalige Bundesministerin der Grünen Renate Künast juristisch. Das hat auch ein 55-jähriger Frankfurter gemerkt. Er hatte Künast auf Facebook auf das Übelste beschimpft, weil sie angeblich 1986 im Berliner Abgeordnetenhaus gesagt haben soll, Sex mit Kindern sei ganz ok, solange keine Gewalt im Spiel sei. Künast hatte das aber nie gesagt, es war eine klassische Internet-Lüge in den sozialen Netzwerken. Das Frankfurter Amtsgericht hat den Mann zu einer 10-monatigen Bewährungsstrafe verurteilt. Nicht nur wegen der Beleidigungen. Bei ihm wurden auch Kinderpornos gefunden.

Peut-on qualifier Internet d’utopie déchue ? Alors que le projet était à l’origine vecteur de progrès et porteur d’une volonté émancipatrice, il est aujourd’hui au service d’un contrôle social toujours plus poussé. À travers une histoire de l’État et des luttes politiques associées aux moyens de communication, Félix Tréguer explique comment ce projet émancipateur associé à Internet a été mis en échec. Pour y parvenir, le sociologue replace cette technologie dans la longue histoire des sciences. Ce faisant, il replace Internet dans la longue liste des conflits qui ont émergé chaque fois que de nouveaux moyens de communication ont été inventés. Au XVe siècle, l’invention de l’imprimerie permet le développement massif de la production et de la circulation des écrits. Très vite, elle devient comme un instrument de contestation politique et autorise la propagation des ouvrages critiques et des pamphlets. En réaction, les stratégies étatiques s’adaptent et domestiquent progressivement ce qui semblait les contester : c’est l’apparition et la légitimation de la raison d’État. Après la Révolution française, la raison d’État cède la place à la « sûreté de l’État » puis à la « sécurité d’État ». Si la formule diffère, la philosophie fondée sur le secret, la surveillance, la censure et le contrôle des intermédiaires techniques reste identique. Ni la loi sur la liberté de la presse de 1881, ni le phénomène des radios libres ou le développement de l’informatique ne permettent de s’émanciper définitivement. : l’État reprend la main à l’issue de chaque innovation. Avec Internet, l’État accroît son emprise sous des formes encore inédites. Their mix for us is a riotous journey through house music past, present and future. *How would you describe your sound?* Patrick Adams making records for Dance Mania. *What and who inspires you and influences your sound?* The biggest influence for me right now is seeing people enjoy our music, it completely blows me away when people message to say they like our stuff, especially when women or members of the LGBTQ+ community. Electronic music is such a horrible schlong fest, and so many of the male DJs act so horrendously in the way they treat women at shows. It’s great to know we’re appealing to more than just banty lads. Another big influence is our collaborators; the vocalists and illustrators/painters we get to work with through the band are all amazing, and hugely inspirational to work with. Anybody who has ever met me will know how important Stereolab are to me, as I’ve probably tried to shame you into listening to them at some point. I love Chaka Khan, Patrick Adams. I could list musical influences for ages, but it would be pretty boring. I don’t have any big secrets nobody else has, and I’ve always tried to share music I love to whoever is listening to me. Some of my early influences in house were Pepe Bradock, Cajual, Basic Channel, Armand Van Helden, Henry Street, Masters At Work... I don’t listen to too much modern house — it has to be pretty incredible for me to need to add it to my collection. What I take away from other people’s music is how certain sounds work together; how a drum hit and a weird noise work together in a Prince record, or how a saturated kick in a Green Velvet record affects the mood of the track is where my brain goes. *Can you tell us a little about this mix and what it means to you?* It’s mainly sample based stuff we’re releasing on the run up to our debut album. Normally we work with musicians and vocalists, but I’m completely obsessed with ‘90s disco house, so I made a load of tracks while the album comes together. Frankie Knuckles and Ron Hardy looping disco records was what started everything — disco loops and drum machines are the purest form of house music as far as I’m concerned. House should be fun, and I wanted to try and convey the fun side of Girls’ with these EPs. I feel like I’m cheating when I sample other people’s music, which is why I try and call it an ‘edit’ or ‘mixtape’ when I’m looping other people’s work. The non-sample, full band, full production stuff is; our debut single ‘When U Go' which got picked up by Classic, which is the first full piece of music I made myself. 'Fondness Makes The Heart Grow Absent', which we self released last year, and it’s already been licensed for a few big compilations this year. It started life as a remix I did for somebody that got rejected, so I took all the original parts I recorded for the remix — guitar, bass, cut them up, added some synths and turned it into a loose cover of ‘It’ll All Be Over’ by The Supreme Jubilees, with Gershom Brown on vocals. The last track on the mix is called ‘Humble’ and features ex-Brand New Heavies vocalist and one of my good buddies Linda Muriel. It’s the lead single from our upcoming album. It’s a 2-steppy garage-ish thing. I made a version with live instruments, but I've ended up using the demo version with me playing everything on keyboard for the album, as it was impactful than the live version. I wanted to use a bit more music from the album on this mix, but it’s a bit too early to play too much of it publicly. Oh also, there is a remix of a track I made with the Ballroom MC Princess Precious Ebony, who features heavily on the Viceland documentary series ’My House’, and is an incredible person and a pleasure to work with. It’ll probably be a B-side to one of the singles from the album. I’ve been involved in music for a long time behind the scenes, and I’m just amazed at the incredible reaction we get for Girls’ stuff so far. We have a small group of fans who are so supportive and send us such amazing messages all the time. It’s really humbling. The music industry can be a horrible place — often unpleasant people behaving awfully with shady agendas and negative energy. It’s amazing to be involved in something that’s just about positivity and making great music. Non solo andare a frugare in quegli angoli di mondo che Claude Lévi-Strauss chiamava “pattumiere della storia”, ma anche interrogarsi sui flussi e sui movimenti culturali, che percorrono l’intero pianeta, attraversando anche la nostra società. L’antropologia, pur utilizzando la sua tradizionale cassetta degli attrezzi, affronta con sguardi nuovi tematiche attuali in cui i noi e gli altri sono sempre meno definiti e distinti, tentando di fornire nuove chiavi di lettura, sempre più dinamiche, delle società contemporanee, grazie alle quali temi come identità, appartenenza, tradizione, assumono un aspetto più fluido e legato alla storia.

James Grimmelmann is Associate Professor at New York Law School and a member of its Institute for Information Law and Policy. He received his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he was Editor-in-Chief of LawMeme and a member of the Yale Law Journal. Prior to law school, he received an A.B. in computer science from Harvard College and worked as a programmer for Microsoft. He has served as a Resident Fellow of the Information Society Project at Yale, as a legal intern for Creative Commons and the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and as a law clerk to the Honorable Maryanne Trump Barry of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He studies how the law governing the creation and use of computer software affects individual freedom and the distribution of wealth and power in society. As a lawyer and technologist, he aims to help these two groups speak intelligibly to each other. He writes about intellectual property, virtual worlds, search engines, online privacy, and other topics in computer and Internet law. Recent publications include The Ethical Visions of Copyright Law, 77 Fordham L. Rev. 2005 (2009), How to Fix the Google Book Search Settlement, J.
