We are joined by Dr. Elizabeth Eltze to discuss the reign of Amannote-erike, ancient King of Kush. Elizabeth is an early career researcher in ancient northeast African studies – primarily Nubiology. Originally from South Africa, she moved to Auckland, New Zealand some years ago, and completed her studies in Ancient History at the University of Auckland with a doctoral degree in 2019.Guest Bio:Liz continues to research ancient Egypt and Sudan, and has recently moved into museum and heritage studies, focusing on African collections in museums and in Africa and the repatriation debate. Comment savoir ce que vivent et ce que pensent les Russes en temps de guerre quand s'informer est chaque jour plus compliqué et dangereux. Compliqué parce que la guerre a percuté et disloqué les réseaux habituels d'information des chercheurs et des journalistes spécialistes de la Russie, dangereux parce que celles et ceux qui sont nos sources d'information sont accusés par Moscou d'être des agents de l'étranger et sont réprimés. Néanmoins, d'autres façons de collecter les faits se sont peu à peu organisées et chercheurs et journalistes unissent leurs efforts pour continuer à travailler afin de savoir ce que pensent les Russes dans la diversité de leurs régions… au-delà de l'image d'une nation entièrement unie autour de son chef de guerre, Vladimir Poutine. Mais que nous racontent ces récits du quotidien, loin de la normalité affichée à Moscou ? « J'ai vu aujourd'hui, dans la Deutsche Welle, une interview d'Oleg Orlov de Mémorial qui dit en substance, vous serez peut-être étonné de voir combien de gens vont dire qu'ils ne soutenaient pas le régime de Poutine lorsque Poutine ne sera plus là.
