President Donald Trump was stunned Tuesday to hear that his predecessor, former President Joe Biden, signed with a major Hollywood talent agency weeks after leaving the White House. Trump was speaking with reporters in the Oval Office after signing more executive orders when he was asked if he knew Biden had landed himself representation. You've got to be kidding," Trump said while shaking his head after a reporter's question. "He signed with a talent agency?“你一定是在开玩笑吧,”特朗普在一名记者提问后摇头说道,“他和一家经纪公司签约了?”"I think he's got much bigger problems than that, but I wish him well," Trump added. “我认为他有比这更大的问题,但我还是祝他一切顺利,”特朗普补充道。Trump then said his administration "inherited a mess" from Biden's tenure in the White House. 随后,特朗普表示他的政府从拜登手中“继承了一个烂摊子”。"This place is a mess," he said. "But it's quickly being solved, the problem. We're going to make America great again."他说:“这地方一团糟,但问题很快就得到了解决。我们要让美国再次伟大。”Biden has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), which previously represented him from 2017-2020, the agency said. 据介绍,拜登已与创新艺人经纪公司(CAA)签约,该公司曾在2017年至2020年期间与拜登签约。"President Biden is one of America's most respected and influential voices in national and global affairs," CAA Co-chairman Richard Lovett said in a statement. "His lifelong commitment to public service is one of unity, optimism, dignity and possibility. We are profoundly honored to partner with him again."创新艺人经纪公司联合主席理查德·洛维特在一份声明中表示:“拜登总统是美国在国内和国际事务中最受尊敬、最具影响力的声音之一。他毕生致力于公共服务,展现了团结、乐观、尊严和可能性。能再次与他合作,我们深感荣幸。”During his previous stint with CAA, Biden released his memoir, Promise Me, Dad in 2017 and launched his American Promise speaking tour, which sold "more than 85,000 tickets nationwide," according to a CAA press release. 据创新艺人经纪公司的新闻称,在上次签约期间,拜登于2017年出版了回忆录《答应我,爸爸》,并开展了“美国承诺”演讲巡演,“在全国范围内售出了8.5万多张票”。CAA also represents former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama. 创新艺人经纪公司也与美国前总统巴拉克·奥巴马和前第一夫人米歇尔·奥巴马有合作。tenuren.任期

InsightsNo. 1"A strong leader accepts blame and gives the credit. A weak leader gives blame and accepts the credit." -John WoodenIf you're leading, everything is your fault - but it is your responsibility. Accept that and get back to work fixing it.No. 2“If you lose your voracious curiosity about tactical details, if you lose passionate interest in people and how they are feeling, if you insulate yourself in the protective cocoon of executive comforts, you may well wake up one day to discover your company has already entered a doom loop of decline and self-destruction.” - Jim CollinsThe bigger the organization and your title, the more time you must spend hunting for the truth. You have to spend time in the weeds rooting out opportunities and the real causes of the problem or success. No. 3“When someone speaks well of you, do not get puffed up. Simply say to yourself: 'If they knew all my faults, they would not speak so well of me.” - Epictetus A ThoughtThese insights highlight essential traits of leadership - responsibility, curiosity, and humility. It's easy to nod in agreement but how do we develop these and help others do the same? Recently, I came across this interview with Shreyas Doshi, in which he explains the relationship to agency and talent - he calls it the Agency / Talent Matrix. What is Talent? While often viewed as innate ability, talent in this context means demonstrated capability or competence. It's important to note that talent isn't fixed – what you are born with is not your destiny. Someone doing the work will eventually beat someone sitting on the sidelines. What is agency? This is the ability to make decisions about your work, take initiative, and influence outcomes. Someone with high agency can self manage and collaborate to get things done. While talent gets attention, it doesn't matter without agency. People with high agency are:* Self-confident and resilient* Take ownership* Excel at creative execution* Communicate effectively and influentially* Bring others along to achieve the right results2x2 MatrixTo illustrate this, he created a 2x2 matrix. On the horizontal axis is agency, and on the vertical axis is talent.Cogs In The Wheel - (Low Agency / Low Talent)* They do undifferentiated but often necessary work.* Won't improve outcomesFrustrated Geniuses - (Low Agency / High Talent)* Highly competent with tremendous potential* Lack of creative execution to get it done* Strong ability to point to what is wrong but wait for things to be perfect.Game Changers - (High Agency / High Talent)* Rare - change the game for the company* If you find them, do whatever you can to hire and retainGo Getters - (High Agency / Low Talent)* Usually early in their career* Ambitious and optimistic - they roll with ambiguity* Can move to Game Changer with enough time and experienceThis is an interesting framework to use for hiring, promoting, and retention. Where does someone fall on this matrix? Where do you fall? The Go-Getter is the one that stands out for me. The Go Getter can decide to be optimistic, roll with ambiguity, and be ambitious enough to work their craft until they have skills and agency to be a game changer. With enough time and practice they can become Game Changers. Key Takeaways:* Agency as a skill is underrated and can be improved. * Conditions are rarely perfect, and waiting for them will mean nothing gets done* Excuses are easier than execution* Cultivate your comfort with looking foolish (experiment, ask questions)- that's how you learn and improve your craft.* The characteristics of a game changer (ownership, curiosity, and comfort with imperfection) are also essential to leadership. There are lots of reasons why things don't get done. Make sure you're not one of them. Be good. Kelly This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit kellyvohs.substack.com

There are Seven Deadly Sins in voice over. Things you should never do under any circumstances, and things that, if you do try to get away with them, I guarantee you it will bite you in the ass, either in the near or long term. Some of these will seem obvious, some not as obvious, but I can tell you I've personally seen multiple examples of ALL of them in the real world, and one of them is not just common, but it runs rampant in our industry. Today, I'm going to break down these Seven Deadly Sins, explain to you why they are gigantic no-nos written across the sky in red neon, and what the consequences are for committing them are. In fact, let's get the consequences out of the way. Are these sins deadly as in will they kill your career? Some actually can. But at the very least, they will kill the most important relationships you have in this business, damage your reputation in the industry, and in some cases, will get your ass hauled into court. In case I haven't made it clear, NEVER, as in ever-ever-never do these seven things... _____________________________ ▶️ Watch this video next: https://youtu.be/atloT8diYvY?si=JSekmcZ3MpOLuAdl SUBSCRIBE: https://www.youtube.com/@vo-pro?sub_confirmation=1 The VO Freedom Master Plan: https://vopro.pro/vo-freedom-master-plan The VO Pro Community: https://vopro.app Use code You15Tube for 15% off of your membership for life. Outreach Agency is a fast-growing digital talent management agency, founded by husband-and-wife duo Emilio and Amy Arciniega in 2020. After working in the Influencer Marketing industry on the brand partnerships side and seeing a monumental range in the quality of talent management that content creators were receiving, Emilio and Amy decided to launch their own talent management division. Our agency philosophy is "treat everyone how we would want to be treated” and whilst we are growing quickly, we believe this needs to be at a sustainable level that doesn't compromise on our promise to deliver best-in-class talent management services to our roster. We do this by ensuring our Talent Managers' rosters remain small so that each Manager is focussing on and representing an average of five creators (the industry average from our research is 10 talent per Talent Manager within most of our competitors) which enables them to dedicate unprecedented time and resource into the talent they work with. We are committed to providing a unique and exceptional experience to our talent, as well as our clients. We work with our creators as a team to ensure their careers are as lucrative and have as much longevity as possible. We recognise that different talent has different goals, and therefore deserves a personalised service bespoke to their own ambitions which may cover different revenue streams e.g. brand collaborations, merchandise, podcasting, product launches, publishing and more. As a family-run agency, Emilio and Amy encourage an emphasis on putting the people we work with first. They are passionate about building strong relationships with clients and talent and are committed to delivering an excellent level of service to everyone we work with at Outreach Agency, whether the talent on our roster or our brand and agency clients. We value the importance of working in a way that is transparent, honest, and respectful and feel that in an industry that is so dominated by online communication, a personal touch can go a long way.
