This week we also reflect on the 1-0 win over Forest Green and take a look at who can carry the goalscoring baton, now Tyler Walker is suspended, and much more. www.mtfcmatters.co.uk Host: Craig Priest Panel: Cam Felton, Nathan Edge, Simon Mercer (Absent) Additional Media: Mansfield Town FC / iFollow
Mansfield Town were given the chance to start again earlier this week when they brought in Jorge Grant & Nicky Ajose - starting on the right foot, beating Crawley 1-0. This week as Cam & Simon missed out due to illness and babies - Nathan was the only one to share Craig's birthday cake! The duo, who when not distracted by sponge cake, recapped the last week on the pitch, plus debated and discussed the future of lightening winger CJ Hamilton, if the Radfords would be doing any more work in arrivals, the comeback of David Mirfin, the guaranteed goalscoring of Nicky Ajose and much more. There's audio from the new boys, the gaffer, Tyler Walker and Jordan Smith, plus all the usual nonsence! Now that spring is here and we are moving closer to summer, which market trends do you need to keep an eye on moving forward as a buyer in 2018? The movement of interest rates is an especially important trend right now. One of the biggest questions buyers are asking right now is how much they can afford for their monthly mortgage payment. Interest rates play a big part in answering this question, and though rates have started to increase lately, they are still at historic lows. “The specific rate you get depends on a few different factors.” For the past five weeks or so, the average for a 30-year fixed rate has held steady at right around 4.25%. By the end of the year, this average is expected to climb to nearly 5%. This means if you are a buyer and you have been sitting on the fence, now is the time to get pre-qualified before you start searching for homes. The specific rate you get depends on a few different factors, including which loan program you choose, what your FICO score is, and what your loan-to-value ratio is. If you are curious about how much home you can afford or you have any mortgage questions, feel free to give our preferred lender Mike Mihulka a call at (701) 364-9050. Today I’m joined by our lead buyer specialist, Tyler Walker. As a lead buyer specialist, Tyler’s job is to negotiate the best price for you. Having been born and raised in West Fargo, he has a wealth of local knowledge. “Tyler’s job is to make buyers happy” It is using this local knowledge combined with his real estate expertise that Tyler helps buyers get into the right house for the best terms. Tyler says his job is to make buyers happy, and that’s exactly what he intends to do. He wants to make sure no buyer overpays for a property, and that the deal goes as smoothly as possible from every angle. Tyler has been in this role on our team for over a year now, and he’s doing a great job. If you’d like to hear more from Tyler about what he does or how he can help, feel free to call him at (701) 367-5211. Also, if you have any other questions or would like more information, feel free to give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Tyler Walker has always been destined for greatness. A native of Tolar, Texas, he is starting to blaze a trail on the Texas Music scene with his band, Them Chisolm Folks. No less than 10 people encouraged me to get Tyler on the Defining Audacity Radio Show. We decided to do the interview in front of a live audience, during Week 3 of The Road Less Traveled at LC Ranch. #liveonpurpose #supportlivemusic
It was so much fun talking with Tyler about living in Nashville, writing songs and pursuing a life of music! I'm so thankful I got to meet him and chat the other day at a coffee shop downtown. I absolutely love living in a place like Denver, where musicians like Tyler and his band make their dreams come true by playing at Red Rocks...like the did a couple weeks ago for Jana Kramer!
Episode 18 of One Week Only! Huge week for independent films! Our key film of the week is the dark comedy “Wiener Dog” by Todd Solondz (Welcome to the Dollhouse). 4 stories connected by a wiener dog as he moves from owner to owner, this is a strange but hilarious and at times heartfelt film about lost people searching for something in life. Featuring a great cast, including Julie Delpy, Greta Gerwig, Danny DeVito & Ellen Burstyn, it comes to LA & NY today, and expands to more theatres nationwide next weekend! Produced by Killer Films, and distributed by IFC Films & Amazon Studios. This week on our “Not Yet in Theatres” segment, we interview directors Fidel Ruiz Healy & Tyler Walker about their dark satirical comedy “The Homefront,” about a family trying to live a normal life in the middle of an invasion of the United States. It just premiered at the Dances With Films festival, and we are glad to have them on the show! Other films we cover this week include “Swiss Army Man,” the crazy existentialist comedy by the Daniels and starring Paul Dano & Daniel Radcliffe; animal rights documentary “Unlocking the Cage” by Chris Hegedus & DA Pennebaker; visually dazzling “The Neon Demon” from auteur Nicolas Winding Refn & starring Elle Fanning; Israeli comedy/drama “The Kind Words” by Shemi Zarhin, New Zealand adventure film “Hunt for the Wilderpeople” by Taika Waititi (What We Do in the Shadows); and the fascinating animated documentary “Nuts!” by Penny Lane. Hosted by Carlos Aguilar & Conor Holt. Music by Kevin MacLeod at www.incompetech.com

DISCLAIMER: I (Bryan) really, really blew it with our record this week. I didn't use headphones meaning the computer mic captured the audio from the speakers, which in this case the sounds were the wonderful voices of our own groug and our own Jen Mac Ramos. An attempt was made to repair the audio but, alas, I wasn't able to improve it very much. No excuses: I suck. Truly sorry about this, but if you can get through it, you'll hear some good stuff in this one. Also, there's a tangent on Mike Broadway. Really, REALLY sorry about that, too. * * * One of McCovey Chronicles' own, Jen Mac Ramos, joins us on the Chroncast to talk about prospects, Brandon Belt, the San Diego Padres, and Batman vs. Superman (which comes up in this week's game Belt / Barry / Thrill). Come for Jen and Doug, consider leaving because of the echo, but stay for the Tyler Walker reference. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
