What happens when politicos start uttering words that can incite violence and the lines between absurdity and reality become dangerously blurred? We're diving into the alarming statements by Georgia State Senator Colton Moore, who's been painting a picture of civil warfare within the GOP. Senator Moore's outlandish claims, spurred by the criminal justice process against former President Trump and his allies, lead us to question the unchecked calls for violence that are growing within political rhetoric. From the legal intricacies to the politics of the situation, we're peeling away the layers of this convoluted narrative. Then we take on the baffling perspective of a Georgia State Senator who perceives the deadly January 6th Capitol attack as a harmonious day of love. To add to this unsettling narrative, infamous murderer OJ Simpson has thrown his support behind a Republican candidate. As we scrutinize these rather perplexing developments, we explore the dangerous implications of Simpson's endorsement and the potential fallout of a Trump-led White Bronco chase. So, join us as we pull back the curtain on the machinations of politics and their potential societal impact. From September 13, 2017: NBC News correspondent Katy Tur talked about her book UNBELIEVABLE: My Front-Row Seat to the Craziest Campaign in American History.ABOUT KATY TUR AND UNBELIEVABLE: My Front-Row Seat to the Craziest Campaign in American HistoryCalled "Disgraceful," "third-rate," and "not nice" by Donald Trump, NBC News Correspondent Katy Tur reported on-and took flak from-the most captivating and volatile presidential candidate in American history. Tur lived out of a suitcase for a year and a half, following Trump around the country, powered by packets of peanut butter and dry shampoo. She visited forty states with the candidate, made over 3,800 live television reports, and tried to endure a gazillion loops of Elton John's "Tiny Dancer" -a Trump rally playlist staple. From day one to day 500, Tur documented Trump's inconsistencies, fact-checked his falsities, and called him out on his lies. In return, Trump repeatedly singled Tur out. He tried to charm her, intimidate her, and shame her. At one point, he got a crowd so riled up against Tur, Secret Service had to walk her to her car.None of it worked. Facts are stubborn. So was Tur. She was part of the first women-led politics team in the history of network news. The Boys on the Bus became the Girls on the Plane. But the circus remained. Through all the long nights, wild scoops, naked chauvinism, dodgy staffers, and fevered debates, no one had a better view than Tur.When Trump became an unexpected presidential success story, Tur became NBC's unexpected darling of political journalism. Ripped from her expat life in London as a foreign correspondent, she lost a lifestyle (and a boyfriend) but joined a family tradition. Tur's parents were the helicopter journalists who filmed the LA riots and OJ Simpson's fleeing White Bronco. They helped invent the live-obsessed news industry that Trump used for his rise.UNBELIEVABLE is Tur's darkly comic, fascinatingly bizarre, and often scary story of what it was like to be on the inside a no-rules world where reporters were spat on, demeaned, and discredited. "During the campaign, whenever anyone asked what it was like to cover Trump my go to answer was 'wild ride,'" she says. "Well, now I can tell you what I really thought. And what really happened when the cameras turned off."Katy Tur is a correspondent for NBC News and an anchor for MSNBC. Tur is the recipient of a 2017 Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism. She lives in New York City.
B Show & Jon are back this week to once again talk about the apocalypse!
OJ Simpson zoomed past Jill Shively in his white Ford Bronco right where the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman took place, and she shared her story of nearly being hit by his car, why she was never called to testify in the trial, and the one thing seared into her memory about that chilling moment.
Zoey Tur was the CBS News helicopter pilot who got the tip where OJ Simpson was the day he was arrested and followed him in his white Bronco as the world watched and she also witnessed and captured with video the arrest of the Night Stalker and the LA riots.

I was sitting at a stoplight last night when a white Bronco drove by. Instantly my mind took me back to 1994 and the infamous car chase with Al Cowlings and O.J. Simpson in the Ford 4x4. That's been nearly 30 years. But the sight of a similar vehicle brought back so many memories. That news event wasn't something that ever crossed my mind until last night... Rick Dorsey is a 20 year Tower Records veteran. Starting his career in West Covina in 1986, Dorsey also worked at, and then in May of 1992 (the first day of the LA riots) ran, the Westwood, Los Angeles store until 1995. Rick ultimately went back to West Covina where he worked until 2006 when Tower Records went out of business. But long before he worked for Tower, Rick had the bug of being a major music fan. His older sister brought home records by The Sex Pistols, The Clash and The Ramones and she turned Rick onto music greater than what was being played on radio. Music became his main identity as a teenager as he snuck into local clubs to see some of the great LA bands of the time; Oingo Boingo, The Stray Cats, X, Agent Orange and others. In this episode Rick tells us about the managerial influence of Bob Feterl and Anita Bonds, why shopping visits from Michael Jackson were so stressful, conversations he had with George Harrison, what R&B song Al Cowlings and OJ Simpson were looking for the day before the low speed White Bronco chase, why Anita Baker stopped her show at the Greek Theatre to shout out Westwood's Jazz Buyer and why Russ Solomon's style guided his managerial outlook.
The incredible circumstances that landed NBC reporter Colin Nolan in front of the white Bronco in the OJ Simpson car chase and the most salacious scandals he's covered in his 36-year career, along with the top Tom Cruise impressionist in the world who does a dead-on Maverick and Jerry Maguire impersonation.

Reason #12 everyone is staring at us: We can't stay on topic. This episode starts out as a "Where were you when..." discussion, when Erin asks O'Dell where he was and what he was doing when OJ took off in the white bronco with the police in hot pursuit. Somehow the conversation morphs into a discussion about how awesome we were at roller skating. And since roller skates are involved, O'Dell HAS to talk about one of his favorite movies ever - Xanadu. So our question to you is - where were you when OJ took off in the white bronco, but more importantly, how are your roller skating skills?Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/everyoneisstaring?fan_landing=trueSign up for our monthly newsletter: https://whyareyoustaring.com/index.php/newsletter/Check out our website at: https://whyareyoustaring.com for more information about the show, merch links and more.If you have a question, a confession or something else that you'd like to share with us, send us a message to letstalk@whyareyoustaring.com Follow us: https://beacons.page/everyoneisstaring
S3 E9 WHITE BRONCO, BILLY'S HEARTOne of Clint's most ambitious films prior to Unforgiven, 1990's WHITE HUNTER, BLACK HEART is covered here in detail. A roman a clef about John Huston prepping The African Queen, toxic masculinity, white imperialism, and malignant narcissism all fuel Eastwood's studied take on Huston's patrician airs. Jeff Fahey appears as foil to Clint's destructive spiral in trying to bag an Elephant. Possibly Clint's most daring role as an actor his entire career. Is his aim true or is he gored by hubris?1980's Bronco Billy was a gentle turn from Eastwood's until-then screen persona of cynical loner tough guy. Here he plays a... well, a loner tough guy, yeah, granted, but NOT a cynic. He plays the title role - a captain or king or head ramrod - of a band of misfits putting on western shows in Idaho/Montana. It collects so many actors from Eastwood's 70's output it is as close to The Avengers as Clint will ever get. Co-star/paramour Sondra Locke's performance does the film few favors, but it remains well-regarded by most Eastwood enthusiasts. But who cares about them? WHAT DO WE THINK? We are joined by podcast fave Thomas to get to it.A few major disagreements this episode. Does anyone cry as a result?Big tusker energy this episode!BRONCO BILLY 00:03:46WHITE HUNTER, BLACK HEART 00:40:52

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Kathryn Edwards steps Behind The Rope. Originally from Wisconsin (didn't see that one coming), Kathryn left home at a young age to pursue modeling in Paris, before eventually settling in the famous zip code we have all come to love. Kathryn discusses how she was cast for Season Six of RHOBH and who she knew before the show. We discuss RHOBH Housewives past - Yolanda Hadid and Eden Sassoon and present such as Dorit Kemsley and Erika Jayne. We discuss the influx of actresses to the franchise - Garcelle Beauvais, Lisa Rinna and Denise Richards - and ultimately whether that is a good fit or not. Of course, we also discuss whether Denise really hooked up with Brandi Glanville and what Kathryn knows from being “on the scene” in Beverly Hills. This leads to a larger conversation of what should be included in a reality show, and what, if anything, should be off limits, the influence of producers behind the scenes and the magic of editing. Kathryn recounts her own time on RHOBH, the involvement of production, the edit she received, being thrown into day one middle of the season, and her colleagues she had to work with. She explains her past with Faye Resnick (Kyle Richards’ BFF), OJ Simpson, Robert Kardashian, that famous White Bronco and how that possibly affected the decision to cast her. Finally we discuss the involvement of Lisa’s Vanderpump and Rinna in helping “guide” storylines and just how did Season Six become all about Munchausen’s Syndrome. All this and we are only getting started. Tune in to this Part I sit down with the one and only Kathryn Edwards. @katedwards8@behindvelvetrope@davidyontefBonus Episodes Available On Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/behindthevelvetropeMerch Available at - https://www.teepublic.com/stores/behind-the-velvet-rope?ref_id=13198 See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

We are joined this week by special guest Joe DeRosa, former Show Programming manager at WQAQ and producer. He had gotten into a HEATED argument with Tom a few days before, and decided to put it on WAX because this is REAL HIP HOP HIP HOP. Later on we discuss the influence that religion has on the culture, and how important it is to the game. AND THEN we reveal BREAKING NEWS that Action Bronson has been BAMBOOZLED in the Pitchfork review of White Bronco. Was it collusion? Maybe some Trump/Russia esque nonsense? The world may never know... or will they??? SPORTSBALL CENTER RETURNS TO REVEAL THAT THE WHITE SOX HAVE AND ALWAYS WILL SUCK. THAT IS ALL. Marc then betrays us and leaves, which leaves Tom STOC and Vinny to dive deep into the new Earl Sweatshirt track Nowhere2GO, and discuss the upper echelon of Hip-Hop (including breaking down a Tribe Called Quest's top 3 in the new school) to reveal why exaactly Earl is one of the most talented and influential rappers in the game right now.
