Concerning the Day of Atonement, Moses said, “Atonement will be made for you on this day to cleanse you, and you will be clean from all your sins before the Lord” (Lev 16:30). For the believer, this is gospel – good news! For the one who rejects this gracious offer, it will be a terrifying day to say the least! As with all the Holydays there is a past initiation with Moses and a past inaugural fulfillment with the first advent of Yeshua to our world nearly 2000 years ago. Paul informs us that there is a future final consummate fulfillment of the Holydays when Yeshua returns to our world the second and final time. Join us we will look at the themes of the Day of the Shofar, the Ten Days of Awe, the Day of Atonement and the Day of Judgement in their final fulfillment when Yeshua returns.

The return of Jesus isn't just the end of the story. It is the pinnacle of God's victory and the beginning of our eternal hope. In Revelation 19, we see both the Great War that brings judgment and the Grand Wedding that brings joy. For the enemies of God, it is a moment of fear. But for the Church, it is the long-awaited union with our victorious King.Jesus will return in royalty, victory, and majesty. He is the Groom coming for His Bride.

The myth of the great white, exacerbated by the 1975 megahit Jaws, is false. Great whites are not the aggressive creatures still portrayed in popular media. We’re more likely to survive a shark bite simply because sharks don’t like the way we taste. They spit us out if they accidentally mistake us for a seal. We have a higher risk of getting hit by lightning than killed by a great white shark. The convergence of globally warming waters off our east coast and the repopulation of seals and great whites after a previous panic nearly wiped them out, means we’ll have to learn to share the ocean. In popular culture and UFO conspiracy theories, Men In Black are government agents dressed in dark suits, who question, interrogate, harass, and threaten unidentified flying object witnesses to keep them silent about what they have seen.
